My arms and feet and some parts of my chest and back have bed bug bites

Upon arrival at our room, the number had been rip off the outside wall . . . an omen of what our four (4) day stay would be. We turn on the TV and nothing! The remote had the battery clip missing, but when I pressed the on button the light did flash! So after about 20 minutes of trouble shooting, I got the TV to work! What was wrong!? Get this: the cable box was not plugged in, nor was the TV! C'mon Man! Then the door to the bathroom was taken off the hinges and placed in the closet! Why!? Then when we were getting ready for bed, the recessed nightlights near the bed's headrest did not turn on. It was like the switch was not engaging to flip off/on. Now I am not an electrician, but I unscrewed it to see if it was just unseated. Way too difficult for me to fix. Then the the mini-fridge for some reason was propped up on a towel (off all things) then when I moved the towel, I found out why. The fridge was not level and that caused the it to no longer cool. At check-in, I distinctly told the male Indian clerk to MAKE SURE the key cards worked for all 4 days . . . any guesses what happened when we went down to breakfast THE VERY NEXT MORNING! Yep, with full plates in hand --- the keys (both of them) DID NOT WORK! Lastly, see the picture of the hair dryer, there was like an inch worth of dust on it. THAT IS JUST PATHETIC! All of this way given to the clerk! But nothing!

We enjoyed the breakfast especially coffee. fruits & the waffle & toast . Maybe warm scrambled eggs.

Clean enough for inexpensive but some parts of the room were broken and very old TV, fridge and microwave were nice to have but the fridge freezer was so covered it ice it was unusable. The breakfasts was more an assortment of cereal and prepackaged pastries/fruit than a breakfast. The “freshest” thing there was waffles mix. Definitely one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve had. It works ok if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and nothing else. Also only one thin sheet and blanket on the bed.

The room was nice, but the bed had like a dip in it, probably because of people watching the TV on the edge, because the layout of the room was not functional to be honest. My partner, who got up late, was still able to get the free breakfast past the deadline. Another great customer service perk! The ice machine was fantastic, the housekeeper had no problem giving us extra towels. And overall, we were satisfied with out stay --- so much so, that we will try to stay here again when we are in town. You can't say much more than that , , , a return stay is what any business is in the business for, if you ask me! Great job Rodeway, and Amit in particular!!

The staff were exceptional but the room left a little to be desired. The dresser had a broken cupboard door and the pillows were so hard, it made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Very updated, nice, clean room. For the first time in a long time, I actually felt content to walk around barefoot in a hotel room. The bed was so comfy and shower so relaxing. We did not want to leave! The continental breakfast was nutritious and good with a nice selection of options. Check in was a breeze. Safe and quiet location. Will now be our go to hotel when visiting family.

Pleasant stay at Rodeway Inn Cypress – Near Cypress College. Breakfast was varied and well stocked. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Parking was easy and close by. A solid choice for a short stay in the area.

Place was clean and conveniently located was able to walk to different restaurants in the vicinity and felt pretty safe i would really recommend this facility aldo the rooms were very roomy

The door barely locked / closed. It was located in between two major gang areas. i was given hand towels as my bath towels to dry off with and the a/c unit in the room was not operable. I had a reservation for two nights and after not feeling safe with my daughter i left within the hour and was pulled over by cops leaving the hotel only to find out i was in between two major gang areas and thank goodness they guided me to the nearest highway so i could find lodging in a safer area.

Hidden gem for sure. Very Reasonable price, nice and quiet, great breakfast and there’s so many store you can go shop at. That are even walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. Totally in my top 3 local places to stay!!!!

Room was very limited on toilet paper (2 rolls for 3 nights) and towels (2 towels, 1 washcloth, 1 foot towel). There is also no housekeeping on site to replenish items. The room had an ironing board with no iron.

Shower was dirty, room had a terrible odor. No soda's in vending machine. No waffle batter, employee stood there and watch, until we asked for more batter, he didn't do anything.

My stay here is always wonderful.

The staff were polite and professional. My room was clean but there was a dirty towel on the closet floor. I had to leave early the next morning and I had to leave the room key in the slot. That made me nervous because someone could have taken it. There were some people in the area that made me a little uncomfortable too.

The room was clean and the area was quiet and convenient. Only issue, and not that big of a deal, but there are no lamps on the nightstands. Only overhead canned lights that did NOT make the room feel cozy. Also, there's noises, perhaps from pipes(?) that give off tapping noises all night long, not continuous, but annoying none the less. Next time I'm in town, I'll be staying somewhere else.

Room was very dirty, crmbs dirt under beds, cracked mirror, broken blinds, to get new towels we had to find housekeeping and trade used towels. Had to give 100 dollars in cash at check in. My son spilled cofee in the room and grabbed a towel to clean it up. When he asked for a new towel the manager threatened to charge for the towel...i wonder if he though we should leave the floor slipery. We had to wash the towel ourselves so that we wouldnt get charged. It felt like we were in an episode of Orange is the New Black. The manager seemed like a prison warden. No...i have never gone to jail. It just was very uncomfortable. Not a pleasent place to stay at all.

I wouldn't wish my experience at this motel on anyone. From the messy reception area, and the receptionist to the bug bed that woke me up (let's see if I can upload the photos). I will not be able to easily forget the image of this person with an innocent girl smoking marijuana sitting on the stairs.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. There was no bedside lights and no phone in the room. The Wi-Fi was awful.

The property was very clean, the room was spacious and front desk was very polite and straight forward. One thing I recommend for this place to go above and beyond is to add Roku remotes for YouTube, Netflix and other streaming service access for guests & upgrade the internet speed, I found some things wouldn’t load due to a poor connection. Would stay here again if I was in the area!

They advertised a free breakfast, but it is no longer included in the price. That’s a disappointment!

No breakfast Even though the property was decent and clean but I always book the property with breakfast included and there was no breakfast The other thing is I had to cut my trip short because bed bugs ate me up and the medication I took made me very sleepy I called the owner and I told him about the room I stayed in, he panicked and he said he's going to do everything he can to make sure doesn't happen again to someone else.

I booked the room because it says it's breakfast included but they don't even offer coffee I should booked Best Western.

The bed was a little to tall.

The furniture was old and worn out. The linens were so old you could see thru the sheets Staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful

The tub looked crazy looked liked weird permanent stains on them. There were sounds of pipes cracking through the walls all night. I will not come back. In the pictures it showed they have breakfast and they really don't serve any. But the bed was soft.

There is no free breakfast. This should be changed ij your description of the hotel. I asked the front desk and they said they havent been offering breakfast for a while.

Online states they offer continental breakfast, it does not. The floors in room were dirty/unswept. The room had a stale smell. The rooms were dusty. The pillows were old and clumpy. The mattresses were super uncomfortable. I don’t know how they have 7.4/10 rating 🤔

The manager was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very old & run down. Shabby as are the furnishings & linens. No cups in rooms, no coffee available. Soda machines broken. Exterior and interior of building a mess!

Second time in this place and Mike the front desk is so welcoming. I think I found my go to place to crash when I'm in socal. Give this place a shot for vacations and getaways!

My husband and I arrived super late (3:30A) from Northern California. The front desk was kind to ask when do we want to check out. He even gave us ample 11A-11:30A.

Overall it was a great stay! I really enjoyed how friendly staff was and how comfortable the bed and sofa was. The toilet in my room was not balanced so it will tilt a bit. My issue was with the ac since it started when it wanted to. So it was very hot at night and the ac didn’t start.

The property is awesome, what i like the most is the politeness of the person on the front desk.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet part of town, great restaurants nearby, Costco right down the street, staff was very nice. Perfect if you’re just looking for a place to crash at night.

The gentleman at the front desk seemed nice - But, unfortunately, the room was shabby, dirty, run down, the bed was uncomfortable and there was mold in the bathroom. When I entered the room I instantly regretted the purchase. There’s a heat wave and the air conditioner kept turning off and I had to call the front desk on my cell phone (the room phone wasn’t working) to fix it. Staff responded quickly, fiddled with the controls and it started back up. However, it kept turning off and I had to get up in the middle of the night and repeatedly turn it on again. Granted, it was a relatively inexpensive room- you get what you pay for- I suggest spending more money and lodging elsewhere! I feel bad for the staff and wish them well, but don’t waste your money. I wouldn’t stay here again -

Staff was nice. The room was so gross, the fire sprinkler on the ceiling was hanging off of it and was being held on with masking tape. There was hair and a brown substance on the lotion bottle the hotel provided. Hair on one of the hand towels. The bathroom smelled like STRAIGHT SEWER had to keep the door closed.

Scariest place in the area. The fact that the owner said I couldn’t have visitors in my room was the first red flag. The room smelled and it was definitely a crackhead hotel. Our family was unable to sleep all night and we feared even touching anything in the room. To be honest we are thankful we survived. We TRIED sleeping but left because of the conditions. Definitely no place for a family with kids to stay.

The only upside was the bathroom looked nicely renovated, but the sink was still slow to drain.

We arrived very late. We called the manager was accomodating and waited for us. The roomwas extra clean and very comfortable. We will go there again.

We chose the Roadway Inn because of its close location to the church for a family member's funeral. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. In one room, there were hairs on the bed, a broken light fixture in the ceiling, and a bathroom that smelled like urine. When we complained, they moved us into a another room which smelled like cigarette smoke. In that room, the blanket was torn and had holes in it, the sheets were stained, and the bathroom smelled like a subway. One room was clean and seemed up to standard, but at night there was a dripping sound that seemed to be coming from the ceiling. The desk kept calling me to say that I had reserved more rooms than I had actually reserved and to encourage me to report the issue to Expedia. I showed them my Expedia receipt which reflected the correct number of rooms reserved and they insisted there was still a problem. I will not be booking at this hotel again.

The outside of the place looks great, but the inside looks older and worn. The towels need to be looked at. One towel had a hole in it and the bathmat was threadbare. There was a hole in the dust ruffle of our bed. However, for the two nights we were there, it met our needs very comfortably.

I don’t know how places like this stay in business. The pillows were stained and old. The bathtub was filthy and so was the shower curtain. The mattress was old and squeaky and the thin blanket had holes. Needs to be updated badly.

Needed a quiet room and area to take an online exam. Management was accommodating. 3rd floor corner room. Neighborhood is quiet and so is the property. Safe, clean. Great place for a quiet night's sleep even when property is full.
