Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable.

Cleanliness was ok but floor was dirty. AC unit was very loud and noisy. Bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Only two towels in shower. Toilet seat was broken.

The place was clean and presentable. Beds a little hard. The only thing is outside our room there was a group of man drinking and had all the beer laid out on the ground as a parent you have to closely look after your teenage girls. Although this is a thing everywhere but you dont expect it to be right outside your door in area that you paid to stay at. They weren't loud and when we checked out in the morning they did pick up their trash. We just didn't feel comfortable being surrounded by nothing but man. The towels were super little so ask for extra or take your own.

Parking was good

The room was clean and nice, front desk gentleman did his job efficiently, didn’t stay for the breakfast because we left really early, parking is good. For the price it was a good place to stay. It was quiet and we didn’t have any problems at all

The towels and provided soaps were the absolute minimal, but were provided. The walls were dirty and the room smelled like smoke. We even changed rooms and this was the better of the two. The second room also smelled like smoke. The property doesn't really look like the picture. I would not stay here again.

Breakfast was waffles, 2x cereals, and mini muffins/bagels w/fake juice and coffee. No eggs, no protein, and no fruit.

They said there was a restaurant and bar, but it is permanently closed.

This hotel looks like a trap house. Should nobody be allowed to stay there. I want to visit my son and me and my grandbaby did not get a chance to stay. We ended up staying at my son house in my granddaughter‘s room sleeping on a blowup mattress, that is how bad this hotel was children do not belong at this place whatsoever.

Staff was ok. Front desk was very little help when asked about the closed down resteraunt and bar that is advertised on their site and building. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had many roaches.

Staff lied on our name saying we hadn’t complained or said anything and that it was a lies so that way we couldn’t get a refund through our third party website either. Please save yourselves the trouble and book at the best western in lake Dallas. That is the BEST hotel in the surrounding Lewisville/flower mound area.

Paid for handicapped room was told when we arrived no handicap bathrooms on entire property Bathroom faucet sink came apart in my hand Beds are like sleeping on cardboard The place was dirty extremely run down this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel frequently and I’m over 50 years old so I’ve done a lot of traveling

Everything was nice and neat. Quiet enjoyable

It was a nice a filling breakfast and plenty of parking and it was very safe feeling the even gave us a room with a stove

Roaches in the bathroom. I ask for extra blankets but they wouldn’t give them to me. 3 adults but there was only 2 towels to shower. I will not stay there again.

Room is so so. Thought it was clean until we woke up the next morning and hubs turned on the light to cockroaches crawling over the night stands bed sinks you name it!

Friendly service

We had made reservations only to find out we would be on the second floor with no elevator. I’m disabled so that wasn’t going to work. We told them that wouldn’t work and he offered a smoking room on the first floor. Cigarette smells activate my allergies, so we declined and asked him to cancel the reservation. We ended up staying elsewhere, but were unable to get our money back for the full four days, even though he assured me we’d only be out the first day. The property told me to contact Expedia and Expedia told me to contact the property and both just kept giving me the runaround. I finally had to go through my credit card company, but we are still waiting for this to be resolved. I should have done my homework better, but it was a truly awful experience.

Looks like it is older but it is extremely clean.

The place has a huge bug problem and the pool hours are not opened long enough for anyone to enjoy. The bedding was very disgusting and dirty. There were roaches crawling all over the walls, however breakfast was not horrible and the other people staying there were very quiet respectful people who never bothered anyone.

The floor was really clean but really needing repair. A couple of the walls were just so dingy and really needed paint. And did kill two roaches that were scurrying across the floor.

The restroom was extremely dirty and without toilet paper, we called to ask for toilet paper and never got to us. And everything was just dirty extremely dirty.

Roach Infested

Staff was friendly and room was clean although it smelled of lysol or some form of disinfectant. First night the tv was unplugged so i thought controller was broke...took to front desk 3 times and they said the remote was working but never offered to take a look at tv. Ironing board was broken and wouldn't stay up so had to iron on floor. Hair dryer worked for about a minute then stopped working. Toilet lid wouldn't stay up so had to use my knee to keep it up. The continental breakfast was lacking. There was cereal and a handful of very cheap and small muffins along with coffee but no lids for coffee.

It was horrible only sheet and bedspread asked for a blanket housekeeping brought another bedspread noticed in middle of night so many roaches when I the light on I have pictures of them it made me sick couldn't go in the morning complain to the office they said you're just now telling us yeah I'm not going out but parking lot was scary it was all it was a scary all together the parking lot was all tore up hit my car on the bottom a couple times when we told them in the morning it seemed like they didn't care they said we should have reported it during the night sometimes you don't see those things they come out at night mostly are they stupid that's infested with roaches so we couldn't even eat our breakfast continental breakfast because if there's roaches in the room there's roaches in the kitchen. I think I should get a refund a total refund I will not ever ever stay in a place like that again especially that place and I will be letting people know that I know that stay there every so often when they have heart patients in that hospital Baylor Scott and White heart place in Denton it was horrible worst nightmare

This place has the most rudest customer service. The lady at front desk is very rude. They have roaches crawling every where dead ines too this place is terrible.

Fromt desk was empty both times i came in…check in they eventually showed. Room was roomy and place was empty, so cool first floor big room. Old and needs updates, but it was inexpensive and just what i needed.

The first room the TV didn’t work and there was actual blood on the dirty sheets. Moved to a new room with holes in the walls holes in the sheets and the internet did not work. We prepaid for two days and stayed less than 8 hours. We asked for a refund but was denied. Run from this place do not stay it really is that bad.

Manager Jumped me and cursed me and told me I can go find some where else to stay because i would not let her talk crazy to me. She was mad because I told her they had riches and bugs and I have pictures of the climbing around.

To many roaches with in inside the apt space

Me and 2 of my friends stay there over night. The minute we entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell like it wasn't cleaned properly. There was no toilet paper, the toilet seat had brown stains on it, stains on the door, and on the bed sheets. The mini fridge and microwave were clearly not cleaned. The next morning when we checked out, a man complained to the owner that he had roaches in his room. He stated that they had crawled on him and his kids.

You get what you pay for. Very run down property

If you’re cheap like me, you realize quickly why the rates are low. Without completely bashing the place, I would only suggest to the owners that they reinvest into this motel. It would s very old and dated, which makes it appear dirty.

Internet not working, and they said it had not bin for a while. Toilet loose on its mounting. No clothes hangers. Expedia arranged a refund of 3 remaining nights. Hotel would refund only two. Breakfast pickings were slim. No coffee; no tea or hot water

the blanket is so dirty, there are some bugs around. They do have a nice sized room/suit

Nothing at all ill never get a room there again

The beds were nasty, my pillow case had a blood spot, the other bed has what looked like sex stains on the sheets. We used our own pillows and blankets. The bathtub had opened used soap and hair in the tub and the floor probably had not been cleaned in months.

I liked location near gas stores & restaurants from high way exit Denton, TX The room was spacious with tables & chairs. However, roaches bad & didn't get under the covers fearing Bed Bugsor worse. Quiet, no disturbance of privacy & rest. Continental breakfast before 11am check out. Better than some motels that are dirtier, roach motel for $80 Single One night farther away part of town. I was not driving, resting & relaxing out the Summer heat drinking & eating in privacy & more comfort sleep than in the vehicle for the travelling of business & leisure on tight schedule home. It was alright for the price through Expedia app prepaid reservation.

The bathroom sink was barely hanging on the wall! We booked a King bed, but was given a double bed room and was told we could seitch but when we tried to change rooms we wete told none were available. This happened more than three occasions. I would definitely not recommend tgis hotel unless finance us the most important reason for the choice!!!

Roaches

Front desk person, knew of no place that delivered to that hotel. Remote doesn't have a guide button on it, so you have to scroll through a hundred channels to try to see what's available until you find the guide and the front desk person has no clue what channel the guide is on. Just simple little things like that would make your stay a lot easier

The people that run this hotel in Denton, Texas are horrible. They close the pool for no reason and we’re very rude.

Very poorly kept property, rooms are dirty, requested multiple. Leaking faucets, holes in walls, cigarette burns on everything, even in non-smoking rooms.

The only reason we stayed was because it was midnight and we had no other option. None of us got any sleep! Hotels.com should remove this horrible excuse for a motel from their app, and the government should shut this place down and condemn it! Please do yourself a favor and never ever stay here! I wish zero stars was an option, but it isn't, so i have to give them the lowest rating they have. One star!

Bed bugs , room full of nats , and the halls have a nasty odor

Went to take a shower when we first arrived in the shower button stuck so you only get half pressure the other half of the waters pouring out the bottom, climbing out of the shower there was a cockroach running around in the bathroom floor. TV didn't work dead batteries in the controller. Bed bugs my girlfriend had six bites on her body within an hour of laying in bed. Turn the lights on and there's cockroaches crawling on the ceiling in the walls. Needless to say we didn't end up staying by 11:00 at night we done took the card back to the office and left and went somewhere else. Would not recommend this motel to anyone

You get what you pay for here. It’s not the best but it wasn’t the worst either. It’s old & worn, but rooms aren’t that bad. Surprisingly the room had lots of amenities. Microwave, fridge, flat screen, and even a stovetop! Bed cover had some holes but the sheets were really clean.

1st room was full of roaches. 2nd room had none but bed was hard. Didn’t leave any toilet paper.

The bad, its an old building, stair’s concrete step metal supports were rusted and breaking loose. Easy to trip and fall. The water pressure extremely low, and had 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for two people, the room had the ‘old’ smell and only two real thin pillows and the toilet required three (3) flushes to empty leaving clean water.

What you get is absolutely not what is pictured. We arrived in the middle of the night after a late flight to the first room having cigarette holes in the blankets as well as blood stains when requested for another room we were given a room next to what smelled like a marijuana factory Only to find numerous bugs in the bathroom of that room. We did not stay and had requested a refund for the second night that we obviously did not stay for and the manager refused. We understand not being refunded for the first night due to us checking in so late however, refund absolutely should’ve been issued for the inconvenience that they caused us having to find a different hotel room at 2 o’clock in the morning.

Good room for the price. It wasn’t a far drive from a lot of things but walking would be tough. A lot of additional rules and fees you could incur while there.

The outside of the hotel was not up to date, it had an 80’s look. Even the inside area where you check in was the same. The parking lot was very dingy. When I got into my room the refrigerator door was not shut all the way and the floor was covered in water. The floors were hardwood which looked good but when I walked around barefoot the bottom of my feet were black/dirty, I guess the floor was not swept or mopped. The remote to the television was hardly working. I never even saw the continental breakfast.

My pillows, towels and bedsheets had heavy stains. The maid service recovered and placed a yellowish stained pillow back on my bed. The breakfast options were limited, and the time frame to get breakfast has a small window. The bathrooms atleast worked and there was running hot water available, but the tubs filled up ankle deep when showering. The property looked beatup compared to the picture presented online, this place was misleading, over all, i had a anxiety filled experience. Regardles of the price, quality should be top priority.

I like how quiet and peaceful this property is. Depending on which view you have, it’s beautiful scenery.

It’s not good and room is smelly

Arrived to people waiting outside in the parking lot to check-in. The check-in area is a very small entry way before entering the lobby. The attendant repeatedly asked if we had pets, room limit 2 guests and non smoking. Appeared to be calling someone with our IDs in his hand.They required $100 per room deposit and asked if it could be cash. The guest behind us said it took her 30 plus minutes to check in and did not recall having have to pay the $100 additional fee. Several signs noting different $100 penalties. Seemed very sketchy. The door to the lobby has a sign on it that says it stays locked 24 hours. There were finger prints covered in either red jelly or blood on the upper door frame. We booked two suites. Upon entering one of the rooms the smell was absolutely disgusting. A cross between musty and weed. The room was non-smoking room. The blinds and windows looked like an animal had tore them up. The room was theamed. A car was supposed to be the bed in one of them.This bed was supposed to be a queen but looked like a full. Did not see blankets on the bed, only an old looking sheet that was pulling the mattress up on the top corner.The car was rusted. There was something balled up where the steering wheel went that looked like a pumpkin wrapped in duck tap. The other room the key card did not work. Absolutely would not recommend these themed rooms.

Awful motel do not stay

Me and the family supposed to stay the night instead of driving to Oklahoma in the night. But after checking the state of this inn, we all desided it's safer to drive to Oklahoma in the night 😅

It is a very old property and close to being considered a dive. I would not repeat a stay here.

When we entered the room, it was obviously not well cleaned or maintained. The window blinds were tattered and the streetlight shone through. The bedding was filthy and smelled of body odor. It was also covered with a yellow tinge and all types of body hair. There were also large cigarettes or cigar burns in the sheets. The bathtub had a rusty hole patched with clear silicone. The grout in the tiles had gaps and pieces missing. Expedia refused to refund our booking fee because the property refused to refund to them. This is the single worst experience I've had with both the property and a booking website. I will not use Expedia's services again and have already told them so. If I could leave a negative star, I would.

Needs renovation badly

When I checked in they did not have the room I requested. The room was not particularly clean and sheets and towels are past there useful age. Disgusting over all! It was late so I stayed and left early. The next night I returned they had a new room, same disgusting towels and sheets it was late and I need some sleep tried to sleep but got bitten by bugs all night. I lefts at 5anthis place is horrible

The room bathtub was really dirty. Bugs on ceiling and floor. Hadn't swept in awhile. Headboard had hand prints and was dirty. The shower bar had been bent forward leaving the curtain to hang farther away from the tub. The chair was broken, so 1st time sitting on it it falls backwards. The pillows were very uncomfortable because they were old and the batting is hard. The mattress is lumpy and Stained. They don't use a fitted sheet, so the flat sheet comes off the mattress easily. The staff dont know how to read a reservation, kept coming and said you need to check out, you're past check out time. First day!!!! Then on 4th day then on 5th day. One staff member was yelling to get out. Had to tell them check the dates of the reservation. If I couldve cancelled and found anther hotel I would have. They are so disorganized. Apparently they don't know how to read a reservation. 3 of them came to the room on the 5th day. Terrible, terrible, terrible. It lists breakfast included, but they do not have breakfast at all. I feel like I was duped, and should get at least part of my money back.This hotel is a dump. Orbitz rated them 4.2 but on Google they are rated 2.1. I would rate them a 1.

Did not clean room no towels or toilet paper had to call front office to go pick some up it needs a little lift too old tv did not work.

The room was okay, but the room looks like 1980s with tills in bathroom as well as the forure area, fake wood flooring as well as the furniture looked to be up to date, just cheap kind of look. The main problem was, when taking a shower the water was not hot at all. There was nothing wrong with the cold this last stay because it was hot out side. The other times before was and tried to tell the desk person the water does not get hot at all. This during the winter months, was just to cold. I said I would not come back, but i for got about the water situation, till I got to the room.

Dont judge it by the looks! Staff was super nice, rooms were much better then expected, all things considered we were impressed! Even my super judgy teen was surprised how decent the place was!

When we arrived there I went to check in and was changed for my service dog and was given a room that smelled like mold they wouldn't clean the room and we got woken up the next morning and was told to move to another room because of maintenance needed to be done on the room we were in once we moved we got told we would have to pay for my service dog 20 dollars everyday or leave that was an extra 120 and we tried to pay to stay one extra day and they refused to take my wife's card for payment and we were told that we left the service dog by itself and we were going to be charged 100 we left the property right away because they are just trying to make sure you pay more money for there drug infested rooms

Stayed a week with my family and ESA dog frist night had to pay for my service dog then got refunded then they came with the police and said they needed to do maintenance on our room and then they said we had to pay for my ESA service dog or I would have to leave the property that was another hundred and twenty dollars the room smelled and people are walking around at all hours of the night talking outside your door seen bugs would not recommend this place for families or children
