Great hotel. We will for sure book next time we go to Denton. The breakfast was amazing!!!

Good breakfast convenient location

Children ages 8,9 &12 we had literally done nothing but unpack our suitcases not sure why there was a complaint to begin with.

They did not have breakfast. We got there at 930 and there was only apples oranges and bananas. The time stated until 10. Only complaint was not having breakfast only because of our kids.

Toilets are unacceptable in the guest rooms - extremely low!

Everything was great

Clean, parking is easy with entrances to get to one’s room easily. So courteous was the employees. Room was perfect.

It near some restaurants and close to the downtown area

The overall property was good, but I am disabled and could not use the restroom in our room. Had to go to the lobby to use the restroom. Toilet was way too low not enough handicap accessible rooms.

Bed was uncomfortable.

Breakfast menu was okay. They only had red velvet waffle batter and no other option. The staff were friendly, polite, and were very helpful. The room was clean, but there was a huge hairball in the shower drain when we got there.

Everything was truly very good. The room was clean and everything worked well. They even provided four pillows, which is a big deal for us older travelers. The bathroom was showing a little age and wear, but it was still clean and in good repair.

Difficult to find. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was OK.

Breakfast is great, rooms are clean, staff is friendly & helpful, parking was great. The only negative for me was the pool was cold & not heated. Other than that it was a great experience.

We don’t need laundry service Night staff didn’t care if coffee was cold .Several people complained about the coffee being cold .She made no attempt to make fresh coffee .Everyone else was very nice.

The first room I was in the thermostat didn’t work. So I went down to the desk and the staff was very nice and switched my room. Which I appreciated!

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. A few items need addressed, maintenance. Located off a service riad, a bit hard to get too, construction. Front desk was professional. Noise of 2nd floor toilet flush came down wall in the room we stayed in. Shower fasset needs fixed. Bathroom a bit small

Front staff guy was wonderful.

Property was very clean, nice looking pool area (outdoors) which we didn't use but I'm sure would be a great area to hang out. Seemed newly remodeled but some areas weren't touched up (doors looked old and pain worn in some areas while other areas were clearly pristine/newer). Morning breakfast was quite good and varied. Would stay here again for sure.

Dog Friendly and clean. Breakfast was very good. Hot food. Clean tables. Dog areas on both sides of the hotel. And the areas were picked u! The room needs a ceiling light. The room even with all the lamps was kinda dark. The room set up mad it difficult to watch tv with the couch against the wall. We had to move it from the wall to in front of the tv.ha.

No cushy enough bedding. Very cold and flat.

The room was so clean and housekeeping staff so kind!!

My stay there has always been good, but this time, there was blood or something on the sheets making me wonder if they had been cleaned and the toilet seat was broken causing it to pinch my skin every time I sat down on it.

The beds were TERRIBLE. It was very difficult to sleep because of how uncomfortable they were. Both folks at the front desk were unhelpful. A different room should have been offered. Maids didn't speak English so I couldnt ask for blankets.

We moved in Friday, the 30th of January 2026, in the evening and left on the first of February 2026. The overall conduct of the hotel was good but our room was not cleaned until the day we were leaving.

Found cockroaches in one of the rooms didn’t let them know till the next day that we checked out they told us we would’ve gotten a full refund on both rooms we got but since it was through this app they couldn’t refund anything at the moment, if you guys can look into this thank you.

Lathe clean room

Friendly staff. Beautiful, clean rooms. The bath tub was flaking off paint, but that kind of part of the territory when you stay in a hotel. Breakfast was fresh and there were lots of options. Definitely would recommend this place and we would stay here again.

Clean room, comfy beds with lots of fluffy pillows. We were there several days so appreciated the variety of breakfast foods each day and a clean laundry room. Also, since we gathered with others, a nice clean lobby area to sit and chat.

The only negative thing I can say is the oatmeal served at breakfast was not cooked well. It was just sitting in water. Perhaps it was an oversight but it wasn’t a big deal, everything else was fresh and good. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked this last minute. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was clean and quiet.

Room was quiet and a/c worked great. Bathroom had long brown hairs on the floor and in the tub. (I am a blond with short hair.) Tried to check in at 1:30 and was told rooms were not clean yet. I find this curious as housekeeping was leaving our room at 9:15 as we were returning from breakfast on our checkout day. Breakfast and fresh coffee was nice to wake up to. A good place to stay for a quick trip to see our UNT student.

Clean but service was horrible. Lady at front desk yelled loudly when she saw me with my dog (first time traveling with my pet). She apparently thought I was going into the eating area for breakfast( when I wasn’t) with my dog. I had simply paused to call my daughter over. She then yelled at my special needs daughter because she was “staring” at her. I approached the front desk lady afterwards to explain and she was still very rude. We will not stay there again! They need better training on how to address people.

The room was really nice and clean. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and well stocked. Easy to get to and the parking was well lit up at night. Overall a very good experience. Will definitely be back.

The hotel was pretty clean, the staff was very nice. The only thing was that there weren't enough pillows. I have vertigo and need pillow support to avoid a vertigo episode.The front desk person was super friendly when I asked for a couple of more pillows, he said housekeeping was gone for the day and they didn't have more pillows that he could find. That's the reason I didn't give a 5 stars to this venue.

The hotel borders on the interstate and noise from traffic was noticeable in our room. The property and room seemed updated and clean. Interaction with staff was limited but professional and satisfactory. My only complaint is that the mattresses on both beds seemed worn and are probably due for replacement.

All I can say is “wow!” Fabulous property! We’ll be back!

1. A bag of take-out food on the counter to the right of the TV 2. A partially eaten meal on the counter to the left of the TV. 3. A partially consumed bottle of water onthe night stand 4. A small bottle of hair gel in the shower. I was denied a different room.

The room and facility was clean and quite. The desk attendant was friendly, professional and very efficient. I would stay again. This was my second stay.

It was a very nice one night stay. Very clean, modern, common area decorated beautifully. Breakfast area very clean, basic breakfast. There is a waffle make that can make a waffle in the shape of Texas. Location was great too

Nice hotel and super clean.

The elevator made loud noises and it completely stopped in between the 2and 3 floors! Not safe! I spoke with other people at the hotel and they said the same thing. The new tv didn’t work properly unable to find the guide as it was always blank. Could not get tv on the WiFi even though the tv was a smart tv. Useless if no WiFi available!!!! Shower bath tub was so slick my wife had to buy a shower pad so to not slip and fall! Shower spray would stop working then start again causing a headache in the shower! Shower curtain rod improperly installed causing water damage to the wall and floor. One of the worst Hampton inns ever. And I love Hampton but not this one! It’s a ZERO!

Clean facility Disliked: - Always a lack of Towels. Had to call the front desk or see housekeeping. - Bathroom Barn Door very hard to open and close - Had to call for room cleaning a number of times - Very low toilet which made it hard to get up - The Televison Guide was useless. Everything said no information for channels. Had to page through to find a channel.

Didn’t receive water at check in. And bed was too hard bathroom kind of cramped. Everything else was great.

We stayed on our wedding weekend, and it was delightfully clean and when we left things in the closet, they were so very courteous to go and check and find our things many hours later for pick up!

Was just what we needed. Was very accommodating by putting our family members on the same floor and hall.

All was nice. It was a great stay all around.

I was put in a dirty room and after notifying the front desk and having the manager come take pictures of the room I was told I would get a discount on my stay from the manager and put into another room never received a discount or given back the 50$ deposit I had to pay when I check in like I was told would happen.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were perfectly clean. But there were two problems. #1 - the mattress was not comfortable. #2 - I was awakened at 3:45am by drunk party people. 3:45! It just seems like the hotel should have someone walking through the halls once every half hour to monitor the noise. I was able to get back to sleep on the uncomfortable mattress. Overall it was a good stay.

Ice machine on 3rd floor didn’t work. Tv locked up had to get another room.

Excellent everything thank you

My reservation was incorrect at the hotel. I made a reservation for 2 queen bedroom but when we get there, they had us for king studio. I showed the staff at the property and they said they are over booked and cannot make any accommodation. They said they did not have a pull out bed or anything for my son. Eventually, they agreed to move us to a 2 queen bedroom the next day and found a pull out bed but it was very frustrating experience.

Horrible. They overbooked. Even though we had a valid reservation, when arrived at hotel they told us there were no rooms - too bad for us - even though we made valid reservation weeks in advance.

We checked in and discovered they had given our room with two beds to someone else. So we had to take a king room. We are not a married couple. They offered us a 20% discount then didn’t actually give us the discount when we asked about it at check out, they said they would. They haven’t. The room was across from a high school athletic team that was LOUD. The front desk refused to tell them to keep down the noise. It was 11:30pm. Is there no noise rule?

Easy to check in and convenient

Check in was easy, the room was nice and as expected, breakfast was good. The main issue was that there were parking lot lights outside facing our window, and there were no curtains. The room was lit up all night long. It seems like this is something that should be fairly obvious, and a lot of hotels have blackout curtains even if they don't have lights pointed at the room.

Parking lot isn’t very big. It was a busy weekend and there wasn’t enough parking for everyone in the hotel. Other than that it was great.

Had to lay opposite windows (even with 2 shade coverings) covering my face to block the light. Kids running up & down hallway then literally knocking on doors at midnight waking people up. Lady checked us in was very nice though.

The room was supposed to be cleaned every other day, but only was “cleaned “ once in one week, the didn’t clean the bathroom well just a change of towels and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed. A candy wrap was there almost under the bed since we arrived and stayed there for the whole week.

We checked in after 4pm and found our reservation had been rented to someone else. We had no choice but to accept the one king size bed instead of the two queens we reserved. Our night was less restful as the result.

Everything was nice but both nights there was a group of people in the lobby being very loud until 2:00 or so in the morning.

The door in bathroom would not shut . Entry door to room had gaps all around. The room had an odor like very old cigarette smoke...

I would have giving it a 5 star, however there's always room for improvement. The floor was wet right by the AC unit, I believe it was due to the condensation. I mentioned to the front desk and im positive that they will do something about it. Also, the room would have use a bit more vacuming, it had some glitter from previous users as well as the night stand.

My 17-year old and I stayed at this Hampton while visiting the University of North Texas. It was the same wonderful Hampton experience we are used to. After a long drive, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was hot and ready at 7 a.m. as promised. We returned after a very full day to relax in our room before going out to dinner. We had a nice lazy Sunday before heading home. I think one of the best features of this hotel is that it is a few blocks removed from the interstate. The hotel is VERY quiet and you really have no idea how many guests there are until you see them all at breakfast! If she decides to go to UNT, we will stay at the Hampton EVERY visit.

We live staying here when visiting Denton. It’s always clean and comfy and the staff is always so friendly.

Pros: location and cleanliness. Staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. We were happy to have the microwave and mini fridge. Cons: there was only one elevator for this large facility which created an inconvenience as the hotel was fully booked. Also, there were no hooks or rods to hang towels on in the bathroom. We had to request several extra towels because they kept falling in the floor getting dirty. The bed was not very comfortable; mattresses should be updated.
