Room smelled like mold and smoke asked for another room but they said they couldn't move me because this place is actually a apartment complex not a hotel all the room are occupied couldn't go to the pool it was over crowded by 2 family's living there with a total of 15 kids living in 2 of the rooms they also were very rude that we wanted to swim . We were intruding on There home

Wouldn’t recommend, many places in the area near the same price that are much cleaner and nicer.

Ac was broke , every time another room flushed the toilet you smelt poop, pool was not well maintained cloudy , more people living in the rooms , took my kid to the pool and "residents" were talking out loud how we were not wanted . Room had zero housekeeping while we stayed . Had to go to front desk to ask for towels . Lots of homeless in the area .

Is way too small for this location. Walking distance to few fast food places. My only complaint is that both nights I stayed, noises came from the room/walls. Idk what it was but due to this I had a hard time sleeping

so I stayed here because we had a storm in Denton and we had an RV so we had to stay somewhere for a couple hours and I kind of regretted it because when I walked in, there was a little roach in the room in the restroom specifically and you can tell that they are going under construction right now because there is just paint everywhere The bed was OK. It wasn’t the best as in comfort wise there was no stains, which is good just the roach that freaked me out. It did smell like marijuana outside. It’s not the best but I had to stay there for a couple hours so if you’re staying there for a night that’s up to you lol

Clean room, lots of in-emptied garbage cans around property. Kitchen was good but no utensils or way to cook, no plates, cups or cooking pans/pots so what is the point?

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. The parking lot and other “guests” of the hotel were suspicious, however. One “guest” was looking through windows of cars in the parking lot. Another “guest” was walking through the parking lot with little to no clothing on, and could not walk straight. These are just examples of a couple of people. We will not be staying at this location again. The staff were really kind in refunding our money.

Location The room stinks like roaches. The bathroom is old and cabinets are poorly maintained. Towels were very low quality and only got three towels during my three day stay. No breakfast, no pool access the pool was locked with out explanation.

Convenient location. Clean. Im not sure if we paid any extra cost for the stay. Not much. Maybe, the blanket too thin. But, overall, nice.

Nothing stocked in the kitchenette. Come prepared with all your own stuff. Dryer eats your quarters, and only one of two were working. Otherwise very quiet and comfortable.

This was the first and last time I will stay at this hotel. It looked nothing like the pictures online. The trash cans were outside were always full of trash and trash laying in the parking lot. We got there on Friday and stayed till Sunday. There were suspicious people and activity going on outside all hours day and night. The room was a little outdated. There were repairs done on the ceiling that were very poorly done and looked like it could fall in at anytime. Had a small kitchenette but had no lights anywhere close to it so it was hard to see the top of the cabinets. It did have a nice full size refrigerator which was nice to have. The bed was ok but cheap dime store pillows that were very uncomfortable. The staff was friendly but the only staff I saw was when I checked in and out at the office. Location is a little sketchy. On our stay, the room next door had alot of banging and was a little scary. Not sure what it was. Did not feel safe. Pics are a little decieving.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and well kept. Location was easily accessible. The only real negative was lots of vehicle noise all night long, multiple times it sounded like people were racing on the street right next to us but that was no fault of the motel. Overall a very good value, I would stay there again.

Fully equipped kitchen. Blow dryer didn't work, roaches and other bugs everywhere on the interior, most uncomfortable pillows of my life. But very very pretty inside the room other than the bugs.

Picture on your site (expedia) needs to be taken down. That hotel doesn't look nothing like that. My wife and I didn't even stay there. Better business burrow has been notified

I called three times to make sure I had a ground floor and parking outside my room. When I got there I had none of that. I went somewhere else to say that night

Once we arrived there was constraction outside of the motel with scaffolding on the lower level and windows covered with plastc foil. In the morning constraction/wall painting started at 8am and workers woke us up spraying walls outside and talking. Moreover, once they finished painting they started uncovering the windows from the plastic and looking through the window interrupting our privacy. They didn't even say sorry. The room itself was clean from the bed/sheets point of view but whoever cleaned before us used enormous amount of bleach and the smell was very intense so we had to open the door to het rid of the smell but it as still there. The refrigerator was malfunctioning because was making noises overnight interrupting our sleep. I mentioned all it to the front desk once we checked out but nothing else than sorry was offered. Overall, not happy with the stay at all and do not recommend.

This property is under construction and was being painted .... not located in a very nice area of Denton. I do not recommend!

I like that it’s carried out its services even through construction and did a very exceptional job of doing so at that so way to go you all I didn’t like that occasionally while getting rules at this location a few times I have gotten a room that had a TV that didn’t have the same features as the TV in the room previous to the room that I was in with that being said I was unable to access some of the similar things there as well as that issue there was rooms that absolutely had no Internet access at all not any zero none

Staff was available, and room appeared clean, but spotted several roaches each time we turned on the lights. Property was getting some upgrades so hopefully the six legged roommates are being addressed.

They are doing some painting so all the windows are covered in plastic. The room was decent but it's just not my type of place to stay. I was being cheap because I only needed a room for a few hours.

NEVER AGAIN

The room was nice with a kitchenette and a full size refrigerator and was very clean. The bed was also within reason comfortable. I probably won't stay there again though because every night I was there people were sitting out on the stairs smoking marijuana. Maybe I just hit a bad weekend with who was staying there but it was definitely unappealing and smelly.

I can see that they are updating the property. I was shocked at the building from the looks of it on the outside. This picture is VERY OLD! The property is infested with roaches! I saw one when we arrived. After getting settled in and the lights went out roaches were crawling all over the walls and floors!

The bed only has one pillow and toliet was stopped up the whole time we where there. This was a vwry unpleasant stay.

My entire stay there the maintenance crew was extremely loud the entire time. They were talking and singing very loudly during both early morning and late night when I was hoping to sleep. The walls don’t do much sound proofing so I could hear it. The fridge was also not cleaned out in my room. The hotel room itself was decent and front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, the room was spacious and towels were nice and clean.

Great location! There is a Whataburger next door and a McDonald’s across the street. It is right off the highway for easy access. The room was clean. The walls were thin…meaning I could hear the tv from the room next to us. I could hear their phone dinging all night. The footsteps from the upstairs room were extremely loud.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean as well. The only issues i had was with the wifi and the wall outlets not working.

Location worked for my needs Ongoing construction. Long term residents with large dogs, excessive noise until 2am. Long term residents arguing in the common areas.

Whataburger NEXTDOOR Got charged an outrageous price WHILE THEY ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Loud and very disturbing ?

The rooms were remodeled so that was a plus but the amount of paint on the walls and doors caused issues with the doors closing properly.

This was a comfortable room with a family atmosphere. Being dog friendly was such a blessing. The location for our visit was great!

Stayed for a quick one night stay. Beds are not comfortable you can feel the coils through. Tossed and turned all night. And back hurt the next day, over ok on cleanliness. Just a ok stay if you’re in a pinch and need to pull over to rest.

Just need to complete the update outside, needs a little painting otherwise the landscaping was very nice.

Our stay was simply one night. We had a college tour this weekend. We did LOTS of walking & it was very hot! After a day of learning & fun, we were excited to get to our hotel room & cool off. Little did we know, the AC in our room did not work properly. It did not cool the room efficiently at all. I knew it was only for one night & we reported it to the front desk. Repair was out til Mon. & no other rooms were available. So I improvised & went to buy an oscillating fan to help cool the room. It worked for the night. But we will most likely stay at a different location next time.

Stayed here as a family for convenience and peace of mind while our son attended sports international football camp in Denton. The best part of our stay is that this location is pet-friendly, and we had a wonderful experience as a family. Our 6-month-old French bulldog had a blast meeting other dog friends.

Property was in poor condition, room reeked of marijuana, dogs barking, difficult for me to climb stairs and no 1st floor room. Will not use Motel 6 again.

I saw roaches so I asked them to move me to another room. Still saw roaches.

Check in was easy, clean property, pillows were not the best but fine for a short stay, walkable to whataburger which is great for late night/early breakfast/dinner.

The outside is pretty rundown, but the rooms are really nice.

Overall the condition of the room was better than I expected.

It was clean and centrally located to the colleges. Just messy outside until you got inside the room.

Though the interior rooms showed evidence of improvement and comfortability, the exterior still needs some work.

The hotel is fine. It is in a bad neighborhood and is usually full of hooligans and homeless people. Good luck getting a good nights rest. Never again.

Listen it’s not a bad spot to stay at all, the inside of my room was very clean and unlike some other reviews I didn’t see a single bug my whole stay. I do think it’s important to note that the area around the hotel is not the best and there is extremely public shady “businesses” running out of at least two of the rooms near me. I felt safe the entire time and my room was clean, but it’s certainly not a place I’d linger outside for very long at

Of mildew. Air conditioner did not work. Refused a refund and desk clerk would not give name or contact manager. Was told no refund after check in but obviously didn’t know room issues until I checked in. Property was run down and dirty. Will be following up with corporate about refund as we had to find a different hotel. People who checked in before us were given a refund as I ran into Them at the hotel we moved to. Expedia needs to remove this place from their property list!!!!!

The staff is very friendly and check is is super quick and easy. I’ve stayed here several times and will definitely stay again. It’s always very clean on the inside of the room which is why I come back. The pool is nice and the grounds are clean it’s just the building needs a serious update or makeover some new boards and fresh paint will definitely make it nicer. But the price is always great!

the room had a coffee maker but no cups for coffer or water, no shampoo in bathroom & spots of a greasy substance on the floor. Internet service was very weak & very slow to load. Guest in room above mine did so much stomping and moving furniture around that I had no peace. The next day I asked to be moved to another room but staff said they could not move me. Though I had the second night paid for in advance, I was forced to move to another motel in order to get some much needed sleep.

We rented 3 rooms for our group, i guess they are in the process of modernizing. The mattresses in 2 of the rooms were newer, 1 was oh heck no! Big refrigerator. Tiny little TV’s maybe 32in? Pool outside was nasty but had water in it. We booked for the price and proximity to the event we were attending. Toilet vent fan did not work ! That was the worst with 4 people in a room!! Staff were friendly and no issues. If you are on a budget or need a long term place to stay it will work.

We come back to that location because there's good enough that we want to go back to that location place is clean and quiet and nice but very cheap affordable

So when I got there the people around it was very nice and the workers are very nice but when I entered the room it was stink. Also when it was time for bed, one of the beds had a big pee stain. And it also had a smell. Therefore I know for sure they don’t change their sheets. Very unsanitary! I’ll never stay at the hotel again. Studio 6 in Denton Texas!

It was a pretty good room. Clean and neat. I had a double bed with full size fridge, electric stove and microwave. The TV was 32 inch(kind of small) but other than that not bad. It was next door to Whataburger.

The problem though was all the noise outside. There was yelling, screaming, foul language, arguing and even crying. The first night it kept me awake till 5am. It woke me around 10:30pm. The second night it began around 12:30am. Someone came around and it stopped. Sounded like the police. But I wasn't about to show my face. The rough crowd scared me, I'm disabled and female. I loved the room but not the noise

Cheap and convenient location, however the place is falling apart, there was dog poop and cigarrette butts all over the stairs and walkways, the rooms where not very clean and the bathroom door would not shut.

This stay was quite unpleasant for me. Upon arrival I had been assigned to a smoking room despite not having wanted a smoking room. The smell was terrible. When I called the front desk to have my room switched to a non-smoking room, they stated that they could only come spray the room with an air freshener or I could open a window. I found a cockroach in my bathroom area. The toilet seat had weird crusty residue on it. When I pulled back the curtain to open the window, there was no screen so it was just open to the hallway and no sheers to at least provide some privacy beyond the blackout curtains. When I moved the curtain, the wall had a dark redish brown smear (I hope it was chocolate and not blood). The padding on the dining table seat had no padding and a stain on it. The lighting was florescent and very hard to tolerate. I should have realized that this is what the inexpensive cost gets you, but the lack of cleanliness even for a very cheap price was shocking.

Very good considering it was almost the cheapest place I could find. Everything was better than expected for the price. Nothing special, but no problems at all.

Booked hotel with Expedia. Pictures looked decent but upon arrival, became leery just due to the outside of the property. Checked in, got room key and once in the room, the smell was very strong for mildew and mold. Looked clean, terrible smell. We went right back to cancel at front desk. Staff gave us a refund for 2nd night we had booked but would not refund current night. did show us another room that had a better smell but not much so we declined and took the loss. Sign said $51.99 but they charged us $70 Has the feel of a low income housing and appears there are many long term tenants. Would not reccommend. Dirty, smelly and did not feel safe.

I came to Denton because I had a 4 days training it did the job friendly staff BUT i do not know what bugs always came into my room but it was bordering me all 4 days i had to keep smashing them with my shoes they showed up every minute but overall it was okay i would comeback but they need to make sure no bugs are coming in

Our room was already cold when we came in from the blistering heat. We had a full size refrigerator, a two burner stove, microwave and a kitchen sink. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great. Very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will stay there again next time we're in that area.
