more of a pet peeve, but I do not care for the LED bright white lighting many of the hotels are moving towards. it makes the room feel uncomfortable and cheap. would have been nice to have an outdoor pool to relax around during the warmer months. it was clean, just a basic hotel. ok for a night, but would not stay for more than that.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. I also enjoyed the outdoor sitting area, although the patio couch did not have cushions on it, so the 2 tables were the only option. The breakfast was great! I would have liked maybe some flavored creamers to join the half and half/etc for coffee. I want to advise a few things. Not as complaints but previously being in hospitality for 10 years back in the day, I would want to know so correction can be made. The bathroom (room 310): the ceiling is peeling above the toilet and the wall on the outside of the tub near the door is warping and peeling. Also, the middle ceiling light was flickering and sometimes would not come on at all. One of the elevators were down 2 of the days I was staying. When I arrived on 5/28/26, a new key system was being installed. It was a bit lengthy to get that figured out. Actually had to be let into my room and get keys later. The pool is not inviting. Dark and dreary. When my brother arrived later that night. He had his reservation and proof, but desk did not have it in their system. That took some time to get figure out. But he did get a room (thank you).

The hotel was great! Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. The only think I didn’t enjoy was the bed. It was just a bit too firm for me.

Great staff..very nice Room seemed a little old? Sink in bathroom very slow. Our Waze sent us everywhere around the area. Maybe give short directions off of I35 north or south Denton Texas

I didn't offer much. A king size bed, an uncomfortable chair and bo alternatives to coffee (no decaf or tea). I was disappointed considering the cost.

I really appreciated the staff! Breakfast was very good especially the biscuits qnd gravy. The outdoor courtyard was quiet and gave me a nice place to enjoy in the evening. The room was nice and very clean. I would definitely stay again!

Clean--in the middle of everything--parking in the back made it very convenient to my room after check in.

The biggest thing was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom floor was quite dirty when we arrived and the extra blanket had hairs on it.

Everything was better than expected. The property was new, clean and pleasant to stay at.

Maintenance for this facility is poor. AC in the first room sounded like construction going on and toilet leaked excessively in the 2nd. The front desk argued about the AC then was accusatory of me being too picky. I don't feel like not wanting to listen to a noisy AC unit or wade through toilet water is being too demanding. Most of the rest of the hotel was decent.

It was a very comfortable space and property! Very Clean! Plenty of parking and easy access to your room! Cute Bar!!!

It was a good stay, I would stay again. My single complain would be that the breakfast is not as good as I thought it would…….. even before 1 hr before ending breakfast time multiple meal items were missing and nobody around to replenish….. actually there was somebody but she was basically doing nothing but watching or talking on the phone

Trash cans had trash in them. Rest of the property was clean. Bed was comfortable. Wish they had evening snacks and bottled water in the rooms.

The front desk staff (Angel) was polite, knowledgeable, professional and made me feel welcome from the start! The room was clean and nicely tucked into a cute neighborhood. I was visiting my son who performed at UNT and the hotel was very close!

The room was great. Loved the location of the suite. It was quite and comfortable. I don’t like not having daily maid service. For the price of the room, I would like fresh sheets, trash removed and clean bathroom and towels. I can stay home and live without those things for free. When on vacation, I prefer a hotel that provides them to make me feel like a vacation.

While the check-in experience was great, the room was a different story. Dingy with paint peeling, the first big problem was that my HVAC was leaking water onto the carpet. Then I tried to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush. In the morning I found a cockroach on the carpet. The trifecta. Never staying here again.

Staff was professional and helpful. One TV did not work and unable to fix so reduced room rate and manager on duty actually came personally to explain. Nice touch!

Check in with staff was amazing! I came in and they were all smiles and very friendly. The hotel was in excellent condition. There were college football games in proximity to the hotel so they were booked but service was still great. The hotel was close to I-35 so it made it convenient to find restaurants and shopping. I recommend you stay at this Marriott property! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!

Was bit by a chupacabra and too much remoldeling going on. ac loud and could not adjust. had to wake u p and physically turn off so that the room would not ger too cold.

Really clean, nice spacious rooms and good breakfast. Wish the staff spoke english since thats the country we are in. I learned english when I came here, its not that difficult. Please dont hire if they wont learn the language.

I first want to say that the service at the hotel, and especially from the front desk staff, was excellent. They were consistently polite, professional, and accomodating. However the first room we were given had a wet spot on the carpet that was most likely caused by the air conditioning unit. We got swtiched to another room, but the toilet in that bathroom was constantly running on and I had to keep jiggling the handle to stop it. So, I would say the service at the hotel was excellent, but the room accomodations not so much. I believe they just need to stay on top of the room maintenance.

Stains on chairs and couch and breakfast was cold. Mildew in bathroom and staff did not answer phone. Will never stay here again.

If there is going to be upgrades or remodeling during a persons stay they should be notified beforehand. Its too chaotic.

Fine for 1 night. Helpful front desk staff. Appreciated that living room and bedroom were separated by a door. Sofa sleeper had a very thin mattress - not comfortable, even for a 13 yr old. Breakfast unremarkable, good coffee.

Even though it was under renovation, it was still well maintained. Parking was well illuminated and felt safe. One thing is my room had a very loud AC unit right next to my bed.

The hotel is under renovation so condition should be excellent when it's finished. Bed and pillows very comfortable, bathroom clean and well stocked, mini fridge, microwave, etc. We would stay here again.

Pay that much per night and you expect to have room serviced every day. Put extra trash bags in trash cans. Breakfast and coffee were good. Roly poly bugs in bathroom. Sink fixture loose in room 119. Hole in carpet. Would not stay again. Carpet loose in hallways.

There's not much easy to walk to.

Beds are comfortable. Bathroom clean. Front desk staff polite. Furniture in the living room was ripped and stained and overall disgusting to sit on. We draped it with sheets before we sat down. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, they said they know and they're getting new furniture soon, but there's nothing that could do about it. Carpet in room was very dirty as well- stepped on something sticky...gross. Furniture in breakfast room also stained and showing age as was carpet. We were here for graduation weekend and the hotel was full. Breakfast room could not keep up and kept running out of things. Should hire more breakfaat staff on busy weekends.

Hotel was average. I was disappointed to find out that the bar was no longer in use. Rooms were ok but needed some attention. Also noticed in dining/breakfast area some maintenance was needed.

Overall good, couple of small things, AC fan won't turn off, Microware time/timer did not display any number.

Great stay but pool was cold and it was freezing outside. Indoors pool temperature is whatever the temperature is outside not temperature controlled by the facility.

Got settled into my room and went to get in to bed only to find that the sheets were still dirty. I went to the front desk and advised them that my sheets were still dirty and that it would be more of an inconvenience to move my room. I asked for a set of fitted sheets. About 40 minutes later the front desk agent arrived in my room to deliver the fitted sheets. I was never asked by management about the issue. Upon checking out I advised the front desk about my issue and I still have not been contacted by Marriott or the Springhill suites property. I will more than likely not revisit that hotel.

Very convenient to both the Downtown square and the Universities. Also, since it is not on a busy street, it's pretty quiet.

If the bed had been softer i would give this palce a perfect 10. But the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the ground.

We picked that hotel because it said “indoor heated pool.” It wasn’t heated … but my grands swam anyway… I could not take it.

It was a very cold night when i arrived at check in. My room was just the right temperature and the shower had plenty of hot water and very good water pressure. Parking lot was very bright i felt very safe .

During my 4 day stay not once was my room serviced. From the very start I noticed make up stains on the comforter and informed front desk. The remainder of the days my room was not serviced, no shampoo nor conditioner were available either.

Room was nice, overall everything was really clean and tidy! Didn’t absolutely love the beds, fairly firm and springy for my liking but wouldn’t stop me from staying here again!

Never stayed here at this hotel. An accident happened so we weren’t able to check in. Was unfortunate

The only reason I booked this property was because of the pool. I have two kids and they really wanted a pool. The came back to the room after 15 minutes and said it was the worst pool they have ever been to. I went down to check and there were bugs everywhere and hair. It was an indoor pool.

I stayed here multiple times in 2023 and really enjoyed it. In September 2024, it was not as well kept. The room I was given had a foul smell in the bathroom, the A/C was very noisy, and there was a roach in the bathroom to greet us on arrival. The staff was very friendly, the morning breakfast was simple and tasty, and the location is perfect for what we were doing. But the room was not and with many new hotels in the area I will pursue other options for future visits.

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean, quiet and well equipped. This is our go-to place when we come to this area to visit family.

Nice stay

The king-size bed in my room was hard as a ROCK! I woke up at 2 AM hurting, tried sleeping on the sofa, but couldn't get comfortable on it either. Overall, carpeting is tattered and torn in places throughout. The facility is in need of updating. "Free" buffet breakfast is a joke!

No water pressure at all in the shower the hallways were hot the elevators were extremely hot. The breakfast was no good at all.

Staff and accommodations were great!!! The indoor pool area is very steamy and hot is my only complaint, the pool feels nice though.

Loved the bed super comfy. Very clean room and good breakfast bar. Only compliant was where the king bed was placed very tough to get in on one side due to the AC blocking the walk way. In an emergency that could be dangerous. Also not enough plug in options for tech devices. But other than that very nice place to stay.

The staff was amazing. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only negative was they do not have an outdoor pool. They have an indoor pool but the water in it is freezing cold and it wasn’t clean most of the time. I would probably stay here again but only if they added an outdoor pool. Every other hotel nearby had an outdoor pool but this one.

This was a nice & clean place to stay. Our daughter goes to UNT and lives across the street in some college apartments. We didn’t, but we could walk to her place. It was a very convenient hotel for us to stay. We would stay here again.
