Motel 6 Denver, CO - Airport

The bed was very comfortable. The pool looked clean & actually the color made me feel like it was a postcard picture. The Roaches & The Loud Neighbors & Domestic Violent Couples Are Just Outside Yelling & Fighting As Staff Look On. I Let the front desk know about the roaches. No apologize, no refund/discount. I was only placed in another room because my reservation didn't go through until after check out a 11am.

Good location to airport. Good value for low price. Long wait to check in because card reader was not working. Right before me, an older blind man was refused a room because he didn"t have I.D. The clerk didn't make any effort to solve the problem. She just quoted " company policy".

The staff were wonderful and helpful during my stay. It just, sometime the waters get too hot in the sinks despite adjust the knob to cold. The shower temperature is okay. I enjoy my stay.

When I went to go check in they said they couldn't rent out the room to me because of something. They wouldn't tell me what was the problem. And said I would receive a refund. So sadly I wasn't able to completely check into the room.

The room was dirty and falling apart. It definitely was not worth the 82 I spent. There was fighting all night. The bed had craters in it. There was a booger on the wall. The floor was coming apart. It was a very janky hotel room

They gave us a smoking room even though we reserved a smoking room. They said it was because they were full, but that doesn’t mean they should allow people to book nonsmoking rooms if they don’t have any.

This place is disgusting the rooms like tea. My light didn’t work in my room. The TV remote had the back missing off of it. They didn’t even give me a blanket on the bed. Poor service

This is one of the most horrible hotel experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t get me wrong. You can only expect so much from a motel six and I understand that but this was actually insane. The room smelt like urine. The AC didn’t work and the heater had been blowing on max when we got into the room and there was no way to cool it off. There were stains all over the bed and overall the room was just so disgusting. Not to mention the outside area was so scary, I have never actually feared for my life like that before. You can tell that most of those rooms are run to sell drugs or other illegal activities. I went to the front desk to ask if we could have a different room that was possibly cleaner or had working AC and the attendant brushed me off and kind of laughed and said they were all like that. I stayed in the room for maybe 30 minutes before I could not Bear to be in there and had to leave and book a different hotel. I guess that’s what I get for trying to be budget friendly and I didn’t expect much but it certainly wasn’t that.

Quite possibly the worst motel I have stayed in for a long time. The bed was broken or something and was uneven. The key would randomly stop working during the four days I was there. The toilet wouldn’t flush and I had to take the top off and readjust the flapper so the tank would fill so it would flush. The TV remote wouldn’t allow you to change inputs so you can’t plug in your own device. The other guest were… interesting. Saw someone getting arrested outside one morning. Needless to say, never again, unless it’s the last motel on earth.

Young lady at front desk was a superstar. She should run for Congress. The property is pretty dated. I slept in my clothes and made a hard pass on the shower. But I got 40 winks so all is well.

I froze the first night & was told there was no heat due to the design of the system. BS! The maintenance man the next day restored heat in 3 minutes by adjusting something in the ceiling. Staff were dishonest or incompetent.

Room was unacceptable! Only one temp on fan, Hot. Very uncomfortable. Room and bed smelled of cigarette smoke. Only stayed for 2 hours. Found another accommodations. When checking out I got no empathy or what can we do for you. Took my money for the two nights I booked with no concern. So unprofessional!

The staff was excellent. Very, very accommodating and friendly. But the room was rough. Not so much cleanliness, as just really banged up and depressing. Also the area sucks. There were screaming fights all night. And right around the corner, a guy was warming himself over a pile of garbage that he set on fire. It's technically on the way to the airport, but be aware: this is NOT like at the airport. It's about a 15-minute and sketchy-as-hell walk to the train, which then takes you to the airport.

The room was clean. Could not control the heat or AC room was very hot. Had to open up window. Two tiny pillows for huge bed. Pulled into hotel with homeless people and their belonging out front. Woke up at three am to someone beating someone and woke up at 7 am to someone beating someone. Motel 6 should yank the hotel franchise lisence as this is a disgrace to the brand.

Second time here (in a different room) and they seem to have plumbing issues, water was on the floor coming from the sink this last trip right when entering the room and the time before water was coming up from the shower? And they had to switch our room cause even after unclogging it it was so dirty in the shower area. Front desk girls are super nice. I’m assuming the owner or manager was the one who also told me and other guest we couldn’t talk for a sec by the room? Cause we’re now “congregating” just for talking and letting our dogs say hi to each other? Weird but will not be back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were desperate because of a canceled flight otherwise would never have stayed because of the condition of the room.The room was extremely run down. Chips on walls, particle board exposed in bathroom vanity, broken sink plug, broken light in shower, dirt on most horizontal surfaces.

Rooms needs face lift, nasty, ran down, bed felt like i was sleeping on a yoga mat with cement under it!

The staff here is so nice and helpful. The security did a great job or securing the area and making sure everyone was safe. Everyone was very friendly, nice, and understanding. I love the fact it’s very diverse and all types of people work here. My room was clean. My pillows were soft. It was great. The only thing I recommend is some shampoo or conditioner for us ladies. Other than that great people, great staff, great service!!!

No air conditining

Absolutely no AC. The AC made noise but my room was so hot I couldn't even sleep and woke up soaked in sweat. The floor looked like it was repaired with tar...on a wooden floor. The only nice thing I have to say is the lady that checked us in was very nice and her smile was genuine. We were in a non smoking room and it smelled like stale cigarettes.

My first room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled terrible and felt dirty. The lights kept turning on and off by themselves, which was really uncomfortable. The staff moved me to another room that was somewhat better, but the area around the motel didn’t feel very safe. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My experience was very bad, because I had already made my reservation online and when I arrived at the hotel they were charging me more money, so since I didn't want to pay extra, I told them to cancel it and then I had to stay overnight, I never went inside the room, i was very uncomfortable with the people who accompanied me, we fell asleep in the car. and now I need a refund please.

The area where the hotel is situated looked unsafe, I booked a non smoking room but the smell of marihuana was very strong. I don’t know what was happening in the next room but people was coming and going. I booked two nights but i didn’t spent one night there, i left the same day i checked in.

Customer service is good. I pick this place since it was a last minute booking. However, I don't feel safe in this area.

My stay never happened. Took my money but the lady running the front desk her name was Carina. Carina was very rude to me. I had made a reservation on 9/27/25 at 8:30 pm. I was traveling from Pueblo CO to Denver CO which is about a 2 hour drive. The minute I got to Motel 6 and went up to the counter. Carina asked my name I gave it to her. Before I could hand her my I.D she right away said nope you don't have a reservation. I said yes I do. I gave her my reservation number and she said nope you DNT have one . I asked how come every time I check in with you, when you're running the desk I said how come right away you say I DNT have a reservation. I said I give you guys a lot of business. I said I always e issues when you're working the overnight shift. Well a few other guest showed up and Carina told them well we have one room left but this lady right here is on drugs or something cuz she thinks she has a reservation but I can't find it. I said that was very rude and unprofessional. The other guest told her you know what we dnt want a room here anyways. They told her that she was rude unprofessional and disrespectful. As they were walking out the girl patted me on my shoulder and said good luck love. I've had a lot of bad incidence at that specific Motels 6. I woke up at 5am on I believe it was August 28th 2025 to a man breaking in my room through the window. I was lucky that I had my Taser. I called the front desk Carina answered ask if she called the cops she said no.

A non-relationship oriented but value type of place. Front desk sometimes succeeds, sometimes fails.

it’s an old hotel in an rundown area quite a bit of homeless and drug activity. The rooms were very old weird odor. The bed was extremely old and springs very uncomfortable. There was still women’s hair all over through the room. I had to get five different room keys in two days only stayed there due to price. The condition of this hotel definitely made me consider spending the extra to avoid any of these.

There were cockroaches in our room. MULTIPLE. The desk agent was incredibly friendly and allowed me to cancel my stay. Lots of people at the hotel that did not seem to be needing the proximity to the airport.

i left my iphone in the lobby and they retrieved it and had it ready for me when i was trying to figure out where i might have lost it poorer area of denver and it was heartbreaking to witness the number of families with all they owned as well as single people helping each other on the streets

The rooms have an old musty smell about them. The mattresses look like they’ve been for at least 20 years. The place is rundown and.

Room was marked as non smoking. There was burn marks everywhere, room smells like smoke. The tiny piece of carpet by the door was wet the entire time and because the AC barely worked, it made the entire room humid. I am currently sick because of it.

When you book through Hotels.com, Motel 6 authorizes the refund and gives you a printout, instructing you to call a Hotels.com phone number in order for them to actually complete the refund. I don't normally book at places like this, and this is why. Regret.

A 6.0 rating out of 10 is still a D in grade school. Same for hotels. It’s a D motel. It’s not “good” according to hotels.com rating. You get what you pay for. This was a very residential motel. People with doors open sitting outside and partying until midnight.

DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you are looking for drugs or a prostitute, stay far away! I didnt really look around before checking in. My other half stayed in the car. While i checked in he saw 3 drug deals, multiple prostitutes, a homeless camp setup near by, and people screaming profanity across the lot. The security guard was sitting by the cameras playing on her phone while I checked in. With a child and an expensive camera (that i didnt feel safe carrying in, nor leaving in the car), we could not stay. Just sitting in the car, debating what to do...the lights in the lot dimmed...at 10:40. Nope. I cant even describe how awful and unlawful this place felt. Ended up finding a normal neighborhood and slept in our car! It was definitely the better choice. Motel 6 refuses to refund our $.

Overall if your looking to lay down your head for the night and don’t have any expectations at all its an affordable convenient location. The gal who checked us in was excellent. Friendly smiled and answered our questions. The area surrounding the hotel is trash, dirty, and not a place you want to walk around. Like I said if you want a affordable place to crash for a night and don't expect to explore by foot you will be fine.

The room was clean. Furniture was worn, no hair dryer or shampoo/conditioner. Bed was sort of uneven, but I slept alright. Very basic stay within 15 minutes of DEN, and right off I-70.

We checked out almost immediately after arriving and found a hotel somewhere else. This mote was a horror movie. The room and property smelled like cigarettes, weed, body odor, and exhaust. There were people hanging out with their room door wide open blasting loud music and openly drinking and smoking. The room was dank, muggy, and in bad shape, furniture was broken, the sheets of the bed were stained with mysterious dark and yellow stains, the sheets looked like they were just turned inside out instead of actually being washed and changed, and to top it off there were dead bugs INSIDE the sheets. This was the worst i’d ever seen a room. It was a very disappointing experience after a very late night flight. We couldn’t have gotten out of that place fast enough.

The A/C didn’t work it was really hot and the room smelled bad to the point it made our closes stink bad. No one ever took us any extra towels nor cleaned. I asked for a No smoking and everyone was smoking around the properties, tabaco and marijuana. Also the nierigbor to my right slammed the door all night couldn’t sleep the late night was worst dogs barking and fighting with other dogs thru windows. Terrible. There was No WiFi even when the girl said there was. It was an awful experience in this motel. Laundry room always had people just hanging out and they locked it early could even wash. Also the security walks around and dosent do anything. People smoking weed in front of her and tabaco, nothing. I want my mom back. The room was very run down the floors broken and walls had holes curtains had holes and a/c vent not clean very dirt.

Room check in was speedy and the staff were friendly. The outlets in the room were loose and the plates were hanging off the walls. We couldn't use them to charge our devices. Our door and door frame looked like it had been kicked in a time or two, which left me feeling unsettled. Overall, we only needed a place to lay our heads for a few hours before catching a flight, and it did serve it's purpose.

I made this trip with my parents that are diabetic it was advertised with a refrigerator which was important for me for their meals and medications At the front desk I was told that none of their rooms had refrigerator The location was extremely dirty and smelled really bad There were people walking around screaming all night The AC was a joke and it never worked I am just glad it only one night I've been a long time customer of Hotels.com and I have to say they are not like they used to be. Hotels.com never helped me with this matter which it is really disappointing

There was not enough towels and wash clothes set out, so I had to ask for more. There was not an extra toilet paper roll in case we ran out, and no Kleenex. The curtains were partly off the hooks as well.

Very pleased and affordable and restaurants walking distance it was extremely quiet and front desk clerk gave extra pillows for my back senior citizen disabled I enjoyed my stay will return but I have never had a problem with any Motel 6 staff always accommodating around the world
