Nice and clean hotel very close to the airport, the free shuttle is great. I had to pay for internet. Come on, people! It’s 2026. Internet should be free! The only hotel ever that charged me for internet.

Dated facility. Terrible hvac (has a mind of its own). Matresses need to replaced asap. Shuttle is great, staffing was nice. A full time job to get to your room.

I was very i.pressed with the front desk clerk. She was new to the job but went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

When we booked the hotel room, we got alternative breakfast for two ppl, but hotel staff and Expedia customer service said that we don’t see it in their system. I showed them on my phone and it clearly says in my account on the Marriott website but still they didn’t help. Don’t book through Expedia. You will lose the breakfast benefit, even if it shows on the special benefits section in our account.

EXTREMELY convenient for the the airport. This is truly a hotel airport with the hotel on the grounds of the airport.
- 3/5
Rooms felt old. Also there were several USB "A"" ports and NO USB "C" ports in the room. I didn't have a USB A to USB C cable - so charging phone, watch, etc was difficult.

There was a shuttle from the airport, location and they offer a Vegan burger on the menu. The lady bartender or server was Outstanding. She had an interesting name. I had a white male hotel checkin staff that didnt seem friendly and initially told me i didnt have a reservation. Wirh very little communication he eventually told me i booked with booking .com and they put my first name as las name and my last name as first name. He didnt give the the intro spill that the person next to me gave the guest they were checking in. I felt treated less than.

The airport was clean, well maintained and efficiently run. The TSA staff, and people we met in the shops and restaurants were polite and professional. We had a very pleasant experience departing from IAD to our home near Jacksonville, FL.

Fine..
- 2/5
The restaurant/lounge had excellent food and drinks (but was very, very loud - the acoustics are terrible). Very expensive, though. Our glass of wine and a margarita, 2 hamburgers plus tip came to $95.00. We knew our flight was getting in late and we booked this hotel so we wouldn't have to make an hour and a half drive home after 15 hours of flights/layover. It was hideously expensive for a "meh" hotel and they charged extra for parking.

Very nice hotel room and great helpful staff.

First time staying at this property and what truly made it a worthwhile experience was the front desk staff. Two ladies who immediately made me feel welcome and gave you that feeling that they truly wanted you to enjoy your experience and be comfortable. I travel the world with my work and unfortunately that is a disappearing commodity. Well done ladies.
- 3/5
Surprisingly run down and oddly laid out hotel. Room was fine though a little cramped. But long walks through unfinished basement hallways to get to my room. And the restaurant is pretty bare bones.
- 3/5
Breakfast is okay. No internet you have to pay. Expensive room. Not worth the price for slight convenience of staying on the airport grounds.

The hotel was like a big maze, we liked it, the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. the room was nice and clean, the pool area was clean, is very well set up, no hut tub but the pool was very warm and big enough to swim laps. The gentleman at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. They had a big menu and big portions. The Shuttle was quick and on time. Also big thank you to both drivers of the shuttles for Marriott. On the way there we jumped on the wrong Shuttle not realizing there is two Marriott hotels so the gentleman brought us to the right one. On the way back my son’s phone fell out of his pocket on the shuttle and the Lady driver answered the phone when I called it a couple of times and brought it back to us at the airport. Thanks, again!
- 4/5
Location to Dulles, great shuttle service. Had a nice dinner after a long day of messed up travel. Nothing
- 4/5
yes
- 4/5
The location was perfect for our needs. The airport shuttle was great. The option of paying to leave my car there during my trip was perfect. The shuttle drivers handled getting our luggage in and out.
- 4/5
front desk employee, needs an attitude adjustment, very condescending when speaking about disability needs or accommodations. Kept repeating drop off only at 2A and 2G, and completely unknowlegdeable about ada drop off or room accommodations.
- 5/5
It was very courteous and clean. I just wasn’t there for very long.
- 4/5
1st I given a room that didn't smell fresh and having to request a different room. Pile of dirty towels left in the hallway directly across from the stuffy room provided to me upon arrival (photo). I had to request another room due to the unwelcoming smell.and sight of dirty towels left outside in the hallway facing the room I was initially given.
- 2/5
Near the airport Expensive yet old building
- 3/5
Staff was very unprofessional. Wasn’t my favorite. Also the lobby is just packed with people laying on the floor, walking around barefoot… very odd experience
- 1/5
When the shuttle finally arrived and we checked in, we were reassured the room was ready with a crib. We got to the room… no crib. Called again and were told it would be another 10 minutes. Overall, the lack of communication, long waits in the cold, and repeated misinformation made the arrival experience incredibly stressful for a family traveling with an infant. Finally rooms are old, and not worthy of Marriott name
- 3/5
Very Nice clean and quiet room, but be prepared that the front desk doesn’t take payment using modern credit card formats like holding phone wallet above card reader, which was common in area hotels we stayed in the previous weeks. We were “allowed’ to stay in our prepaid room -but couldn’t use the hotel restaurant for dinner or breakfast.
- 4/5
Hard mattress
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be refurbished its just looking its age
- 4/5
Even though the airline got us in three hours late we arrived at midnight and the staff got us to our room quickly.
- 2/5
The room we upgraded to and paid for did not have heat so we had to take a standard room. No refund or reimbursement from the hotel. We also had to pay for parking even though we did not have a car. I explained this to front desk and they said it didn’t matter - all guests have to pay for parking regardless. That doesn’t seem right. Shame on Marriott.
- 1/5
This hotel is from 1950. I think the carpet is too. The entry and lobby is ok… screams holiday inn though. I actually checked in and then left for another hotel it was so rough.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was helpful.
- 4/5
location, proximity to Dulles. Availabilty and frequency of shuttle.
- 3/5
Building is very old . It’s dated and not very clean
- 1/5
Although there was a girls soccer tournament in the area I didn’t expect the girls to be running the halls half of the night , when I travel I always like to stay at a Marriottbut this one will never see me again Kids running the halls all hours of the night and very uncomfortable bed and pillows plus our room was down one floor it felt like we weee in the basement
- 5/5
Fast service. Quiet rooms that let you decompress
- 4/5
Expensive for the service they offer
- 1/5
I was told that we got a free upgrade and said thank you was excited when person said since we were Bonvoy members we were eligible and when we got to the room it was the same room I reserved. It would have been more acceptable if they would have just said no instead of lying to me
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
As I booked an overnight stay for my almost 19 year old son, his check in was not smooth. Because I was requested to fill out a Minor Authorization Form, which I was not informed about during and after booking. Then the Form sent was inaccessible and I had to struggle to get it filled, signed and sent.. All this when my son was waiting at the check-in counter for almost an hour after a more than 15 hours flight. Not cool.
- 5/5
Loved Shama at restaurant…above and beyond with hospitality and spirit:)
- 5/5
I only stayed at this hotel due to its convenient location to the airport. The free shuttle runs to and from the airport periodically It's a bit pricey but worth the cost. Nothing. All things good
- 4/5
The concierge lounge is marginal. Some of the bathrooms are very small.
- 2/5
We didn’t get complementary breakfast, hotel is very outdated looks like from 1950, need lot of updates. Everything looks very old, good location but hotel need upgrade.
- 5/5
Super hotel. We arrived at a bad time. Their computers were down and we had no keys for our room and no statement when we checked out. Security had to take us to our room and let us in and the security person had no idea where our room was located.
- 3/5
Parking fees, internet wifi should provide free for customers...
- 5/5
I loved the room. It was spacious, clean, and smell good. It was fast check in and out. Loved that there is a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, warm welcome. Room clean.

Clean stylish rooms, excellent mattress and pillows and extra pillows; driver really nice; nice to have ready to eat food afterhours near checkin;
- 3/5
No free parking as promised on Hotels.com and no breakfast buffet
- 5/5
Good hospitality. Close to the Airport. Shuttle service a big plus.
- 5/5
The hotel was very far from our where we landed
- 2/5
It was very loud. People were talking very loudly in the corridors
- 4/5
Clean room (although I found it to be quite small, especially the bathroom). Staff was very pleasant. We had dinner in the dining room and it was delicious.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Convenient location
- 4/5
The airport shuttle was very easy to find and I didn’t have to wait too long. The hotel is very close to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was part of the open lobby space but the food was good.
- 5/5
Right next to the airport.
- 3/5
When we first checked in and got our room, upon entering, the room had not been cleaned at all. Beds were unmade and ruffled, switched rooms to a room right next to the elevator (upgrade lol) and it was extremely loud.
- 1/5
Would not cancel 5 minutes after making reservation in error
- 3/5
Everything was just OK. Unfortunately I didn’t get my requested wake up call for an early morning flight and just made it.
- 4/5
Rooms were nice. Transportation to airport was pleasant great driver.
- 3/5
This hotel is convenient, right across from Dulles Airport, however I will not be staying with them again as they charge a $17 dollar fee for overnight parking. There are too many other hotels within a close radius of the airport that do not charge for parking!
- 5/5
Rooms need an update but the food was great and service excellent! Did not book through Bonvoy so no access to the lounge.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Easily accessible hotel
- 5/5
Check in was good and the room was clean.
- 5/5
All my flights were delayed and canceled -- so I had to stay in Dulles overnight. The staff at this hotel was so kind and helpful -- and the room was very fresh and clean -- it was a great relief after a terrible day.
- 5/5
Pickup at airport runs every 15 minutes and drive to hotel is very short. Gentleman at front desk was the best. Gave me early check-in. Room was good. Did not have one of those loud in window heating/ac units. Limited resturant/lounge food menu but good enough.
- 5/5
Dining staff friendly and courteous--and excellent food choice and preparation. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.
- 4/5
They put me in the basement floor- I had two large suitcases and it was hard to he t them up and down the small set of stairs
- 4/5
The free shuttle service was a big plus; it runs every 15 minutes until 1:00 a.m. If you’re arriving between 1:00 and 4:30 a.m., you can just call the hotel and they’ll arrange a pickup — very easy. I also appreciated the water faucet next to the ice machine — a small but thoughtful touch that made it easy to refill bottles. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we got a great night’s sleep before heading out the next morning. Overall, a smooth, comfortable, and convenient stay.

Front desk people incompetent including the manager
- 5/5
It's very close to the airport, the shuttles run regularly and on time, the front desk staff attentive and helpful, and the wait staff are courteous and very friendly. The coffee is very good.
- 4/5
Very very very long corridors, so if you have a lot of luggage ask for a room near the elevator.
- 3/5
I stay one night, stopover! The room small( king room) the carpet smells. The hotel feel and smell old.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
Clean.frienfly.quiet. difficulty on getting shuttlebus from airport.one full.next ond drove past me
- 5/5
It is a fabulous hotel, great quality and facilities. The room was clean, updated and had a fantastic large window with view! Had an accessibility room, it was great for my mom and storing her wheelchair. Would love to stay here again!
- 3/5
However, it has been a long time since this place was nice. Just rolling suitcases down the hall is a challenge. Every so often you have to stop, lift the suitcase and reset as the carpet is coming up and inhibits the ability to roll a suitcase. Stayed last year around the same time and it has not improved.
- 3/5
No complaints- exactly as described.
- 5/5
Quick stop in DC with an overnight connection and staying here was perfect. Shuttle was easy both ways. Highly recommend if you’ve got a long connection or layover. Well worth the money.
- 3/5
Airport hotel, what can i say. They need to change food at restaurant. I used to think was the best but time for some new choices. Absolutely, great for catching flights with no hassles.
- 4/5
I loved the courtyard and being able to sit outside of my room in the morning
- 4/5
Rooms could use a facelift they feel dated
- 5/5
Rooms were nice, pool was good. Food was good
- 5/5
Some great dishes available—chicken wings; Pastrami sandwich.
- 2/5
The hotel was hosting a large soccer tournament, resulting in over 130 children who treated the entire property as their playground and the hallways as soccer fields. There was constant running, screaming and shouting, and playing throughout the day and late into the night, making it difficult to relax or rest. Additionally, the restaurant, which usually offers friendly and efficient service, was completely overwhelmed. Service was extremely slow, and it appeared that no additional staff had been brought in despite the hotel knowing it would be at full capacity. We understand that group events happen, but as regular guests, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could inform customers at the time of booking when large youth sporting events are scheduled. This would allow guests to make an informed decision, as this stay was far from the peaceful, comfortable experience we’ve come to expect.
- 1/5
The bed was the worst I ever had a hammock or the floor would have been better
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Perfect when flying to and from Dulles. Friendly staff. Great shuttle.
- 5/5
Restaurant was great
- 5/5
Really good place to stay. Very close to the IAD airport and shuttle available.
- 5/5
Service was fantastic! Rooms were very clean and the staff were great.

Very cheap tacky long hallway dungeon-type accomodations. Clueless staff. Didn't give wake-up call that was promised. Overall very very disappointing.

Nice hotel, close to the airport. Front desk is polite and helpful. Restaurant is quite good. Rooms are in need of renovation.
- 5/5
Nicole handled a rather complicated check-in and did a great job to meet our needs! Outstanding customer service!
- 5/5
👍
- 3/5
Although the stay served its purpose and the staff was courteous, the lack of attention to Elite benefits undermined a critical opportunity to strengthen customer loyalty. More rigorous implementation of membership protocols and personalized recognition are essential to elevating the perception of value and overall satisfaction.
- 5/5
Front desk agent was very nice and helpful. Great personality and genuinely made us feel welcomed
- 5/5
The staff was fantastic, the property is convenient to the airport. The dinning menu was good.
- 5/5
Very convenient for the airport with regular shuttle
- 3/5
Everything was average.
- 3/5
They haven't released my hold. And it's now April 2nd. This is a regular thing with Marriott. Bear that in mind when you book here. They keep your money
- 4/5
Very convenient location for Dulles Airport. Lobby area has been renovated and rooms are fine enough. Ours smelled a little musty but fine otherwise.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, good service
- 5/5
Convenient to the airport shuttle was easy to find. The driver was extremely pleasant
- 4/5
Always a nice stay! Just a very long walk to the lobby and back to my room!
- 5/5
Excellent team!
- 5/5
Good service, breakfast overpriced, very comfortable room
- 5/5
Great facility when you are flying out of IAD but isolated
- 5/5
Our stay was very quick, we had a 6am flight so just a place to sleep.
- 3/5
The check in process was easy. However, I was given room 1132 which is one floor down from check in. With luggage you have to take the elevator down to the basement where elevator maintenance and all that is located, walk up a ramp to the hallway. It was an odd layout for that area.
- 5/5
Perfect Location with terrific accommodations and friendly, caring staff.
- 5/5
Well fantastic! Everyone was great! When we checked out and went to downtown DC for 47th Presidential Inauguration, my wife left her Evening gown in her room. We called and Nicole found it and worked feverishly under my wife's stress and she got a cab to deliver it to us! Talk about going the extra mile? Unbelievable!!! Best experience we have ever heard of in a very long time! Thank you again Nicole, you were fantastic!
- 1/5
I booked a king room on Expedia and when I arrived, the front desk told me that my king room was not available. They said they had a double available for me at the same rate.. when I asked them why they didn’t have a king, they said it was Expedia’s fault and when I asked them why they couldn’t lower the rate, they said that was Expedia’s fault too.
- 3/5
I cannot recommend this property. The lobby area and hallways were renovated and very pleasant, but the room I had was very out of date. Nothing in the room coordinated, and the furniture was the style that you would have seen 30+ years ago. The restaurant food was okay, but nothing special. There were many positives, but overall not what I would expect from this grade of hotel.
- 5/5
Very convenient for going to Dulles Airport, leaving your car either at the hotel for a parking fee or take it to Dulles for a parking fee. So close and easy! No traffic jams either.
- 2/5
There was a lack of staff in the restaurant (severe) and front desk. Calls to operator went unanswered.

- 3/5
Run down in the rooms
- 3/5
The property is old and badly in need of refurbishing. The bathrooms are very very small and there are few amenities. It’s advantage—it is on the Dulles airport grounds. Otherwise its a Motel 6.
- 5/5
Very near from the airport
- 4/5
This could.be a top hotel. It just needs to update rooms aand bathrooms. But it is quiet and efficient and the park and stay option is great!

- 1/5
This is a good enough hotel for the convenience of being so close to the airport. But I had the worst night sleep with some type of banging every 30 seconds (water pipes?) I even had ear plugs on and I could hear it loudly. I have a video of that if the hotel wants to see it. The other issue is you have to go up five stairs to get to your room (they tell you three but it’s five) and that’s very awkward with luggage.
- 4/5
Convenient and clean. Airport shuttle every 15 minutes. Wi-Fi not free.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Likes the convenience and the service at the bar. Didn't like dust in room and ring of dirt around pool
- 4/5
Great place to stay coming or going to Dulles. Food surprisingly good.
- 4/5
Its an average hotel.
- 3/5
It was very meh. The highlight was the gentleman who checked us in. He was amazing! Bar was out of Sauvignon Blanc and shuttle left us even though we arrived a few minutes before it was supposed to leave.
- 4/5
It was really good
- 5/5
Excellent customer services.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located right neR dulles airport and i was able to get a shuttle to the airport to get my flight out in the morning. Very friendly front desk staff. Delicious meal in the restaurant. I will definitely go back
- 1/5
Before Covid, Parking and WiFi were free. Now you are overcharged for even a sip of water.
- 5/5
Great place to stay before flying out of Dulles.
- 3/5
the room in that hotel were so difficult fo find, it was like a maze
- 1/5
The bath in the room was filthy, as though it hadn’t been cleaned at all. It was literally splattered with long since dried dirt. The carpet left our feet black as well, and the air conditioning was rather dusty. It was appalling. I wasn’t expecting much from an airport hotel, but that was beyond dismal. If I could rate lower than 1, I would. Other than that, the staff at the front desk were helpful although room service and housekeeping ignored the room entirely.

- 5/5
Great overnight stop , had a late check in and early start so nice and close to the airport.
- 1/5
Renovations needed
- 5/5
This was a very nice stay. The front desk and restaurant staff were outstanding. I did advise the front desk that my there are two issues in the bathroom that I think need to be addressed. First is that sole towel rack was too high for me to reach (I'm 5'1"). I would have used my towel a second day if I'd been able to hang it! The second issue is that the bar to assist shower entry is at the wrong end of the tub. It needs to be at the end where the shower head isn't flowing so one can enter without getting one's hair wet, unless one intends to wash it. Thanks for a good stay.
- 2/5
Sewage backed up in the room.
- 5/5
Free shuttle to the airport a few minutes away was great. Restaurant was good.
- 5/5
Booked for the parking and shuttle during our trip
- 5/5
Closs to the aeroport.
- 5/5
A little outdated
- 4/5
It was a good hotel for our need. We just needed a place to stay before our flight. This suited our needs.
- 4/5
Near the airport and they have shuttle every 15 min and the drive Ali was very helpful person
- 5/5
The Front Desk Team was amazing!
- 2/5
Overall, dated and worn. Would not recommend if you want standard Marriott experience. Overpriced for commuters.
- 5/5
Our experience with the shuttle to the airport was very good - we may have been lucky it timed very well and we have not always had that experience with airport hotels so we were grateful. Desk staff were helpful and polite and the room was clean and pleasant.
- 1/5
We had a room in what seemed like the basement and saw a bunch of roaches in the halls and 1 in our room. Since we were therr due to missed flight for only to sleep, we didnt complain as they did extend our check out for us to rest since we checked in after midnight
- 5/5
conveniently located
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely wonderful!
- 4/5
We only stayed at the hotel overnight so we could catch an early morning flight. It is very convenient to the Airport. Daryl helped check us in and he was absolutely wonderful!!
- 2/5
Expensive no breakfast no help with luggage. Dried cold burnt toast.
- 3/5
Not a quiet place. But we call management and they called room next door.
- 2/5
The worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at. The property needs full remodel and updates with a new staff. Even the waitresses were awful just trying to order breakfast with coffee. Just awful couldn’t wait for my two days to end. Lake view- with trash - everywhere was dirty. Bins in the hallway of dirty linen - Awful
- 4/5
They charged for internet access because the room was booked through Expedia -- this is outrageous!
- 4/5
Room was ok albeit pretty small, but fine for a quick over night stay. Beds were a bit soft for our preference but ok. Rm number was 2128. No noise from the airport but rather loud plumbing / bathroom from neighbouring rooms in the early hours. We have stayed at a number of Washington Dulles airport hotels and this is the best food and location we’ve found but probably the least comfortable bed. That said, we would stay again.
- 4/5
The hotel was great. However there was to many hidden fees. The parking was to expensive and there was no security to prevent damage or theft of your vehicle. So i didnt see the point of having to pay an additional daily fee for parking. The amaount that i paid for the room, the parking should have been free. The worse thing about the experience was the rooms were very warm and uncomfortable at nights. We were practically sweating in our sleep. I had turned the air all the way down and it still was hot. The bartender was extremely rude to customers and gave the impression that he did not want to be there by ignoring some customers and having a attitude with others.
- 4/5
Great property and service
- 5/5
I love this location! The cheeseburgers are amazing :)
