The hotel was clean. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The mattress was uncomfortable. I left with an aching back. The bedding was not plush and the bedspread was very rough. I probably won’t stay here again. For the cost I was expecting a more comfortable bed.

Well maintained property, friendly staff, & utilizes text messages to communicate throughout your stay. Noticed they don’t offer a water station, when you look up amenities it mentions laundry facilities, but asked staff and was informed they don’t offer it any longer. Reached out via text to get housekeeping services and received a response but for some reason it didn’t take place.

The room was amazing. The size was much larger than expected. The large windows were great. The internet went down and we were not issued keys. Every time we wanted to go out and back into the room we had to be escorted. There were guests who checked in after who were issued keys and I was not when the service was available. The staff was clearly upset at the situation. There was only one staff member available at a time and they were always busy.

Any other time I’ve stayed here I totally enjoyed it. The room is usually clean and the staff pleasant. The room had an awful stale smell the table was stained and dirty, it just didn’t have the appearance of being clean,The WiFi was down for the entire night and it was understaffed.

Our room was very dirty and had black mold in the bathroom, and yes I have proof. They moved us to another room which was a little cleaner and didn’t appear to have black mold but service was still terrible. Had to ask for clean towels 3 different times one of which they said they were out. Once they finally brought them they only brought enough for two people and there were four of us. Asked for more body wash due to it being empty and they never filled it. Our last night there my kids had to use wet towels and we had to use shampoo to wash due to them not filling the body wash.

Very convenient to the areas we were visiting. Location near airport but not noisy at all! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nicely appointed amenities both in the lobby area/1st floor and the rooms. Special touch was were the morning texts from the property that said "Good morning!" and asked if you slept well and if there were any concerns you need addressing. Also had fun and creative evening events for hotel guests to gather and socialize. Having to pay for parking was annoying.

Breakfast is very poor, you need to order from the menu and then you get your breakfast to the table , no extra if you want to eat something else or more vegetables,bread or fruits, they can be much better in my opinion

While the hotel once inside looked good and room was acceptable what was not acceptable was the location. Nothing around the hotel, parking was $27/night and there was a homeless person sitting near the entrance way. We felt so uncomfortable with the location that we decided to book another hotel and forfeited the first night cost for original planned stay. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful.

I am writing as I booked this room for my employee for what was supposed to be a fun business trip. It all started when she slipped in the shower. I also slipped as the showers/bathrooms are not deigned well and are very slippery when they get wet. The hotel staff was rse when we went to discuss that morning and I asked for a manager. They wrote down my phone number and email. Nobody contacted me to see if she was ok. Then I had paid for the breakfast and it was absolutely disgusting. Cold buffet where the workers were not happy nor friendly. I will never go back!!!

The bed was extremely comfortable and it was conveniently located near the airport. I appreciated having a tub. Not much to see out the windows aside from pavement and cars. The hvac was incredibly noisy, had to keep my foot on the tub stopper to keep the water from leaking out of the tub.

Last night, shortly after midnight, I attempted to check into a hotel booked through Expedia. Despite my confirmed, prepaid reservation, the front desk agent acted utterly unprofessionally, questioning why I booked last minute. I explained I decided to stay instead of driving home. Instead of simply checking me in, he continued to argue. To make matters worse, my son had already had a terrible experience with the same person the previous day—being scolded and hung up on. After insisting I just wanted to check in, the agent refused and told me to find another hotel. I’ve stayed here for months on long-term contracts, and this treatment was appalling. Now I have to resolve the refund with Expedia. I do not recommend this hotel after such an unacceptable experience.

I have stayed here on several occasions and have to say there are aspects that have gone down hill on this trip. Firstly they have started charging for car parking which is a pure and simple money grab, they do not need to charge as no one other the hotel guests would use the car park. Secondly stayed for five nights and only had the maid visit once which never used to be the case

The hotel itself was nice. But we had several problems during our one week stay. We had two rooms on the third floor both had queen size beds. The bathroom for us was an issue. It had a sliding door with no lock very heavy door by the way. When you closed it, it had a large gap on each side that you could clearly see the person showering or going to the bathroom. So if anybody walked up towards the door to leave, they could see what was going on in the bathroom. The next problem was they told us they would clean our room every three days but every day we would get clean towels and our trash thrown. One of our rooms was never cleaned the whole time we were There. The trash was overflowing. We didn’t get towels. It was never picked up. We asked several times for it to be picked up and it never happened. The other room only got cleaned once because I saw the person in the hallway and they asked me if I wanted it cleaned and I said yes. But again, no towels no toilet paper no throwing the trash. If we wanted something we had to go down to the lobby to pick it up ourselves. The pool was ice cold there was no towels by the pool. We were told someone would bring some out to us that never happened. They had a little restaurant on the first floor. We went for breakfast. We’re waiting to be seated. We were told we had to order and pay at the stand. Then we could seat ourselves and the food would be brought out. Which was strange because if you wanted to add something you had to pay 1s

Half the lights in the room did not work, the shower does not close so every time you shower water flood the floor of the bathroom, when we inquired about it at the front desk the lady was rude and said “all our rooms have that”, the bathroom door doesn’t close all the way and we had to jam a wash cloth in the doorjam just to have some privacy when using the restroom as there is a huge mirror right outside the bathroom and if the door is open whoever is on the bed gets a view of you in the bathroom.

I wanted to experience what other travelers have; however this hotel fell short for us. Upon checking in, the front desk area was dirty, food crumbs everywhere, just looked sticky and dirty. The elevators never looked clean. Our room was clean and average. We experienced a toilet backup around 9 PM on our second night and the front desk had trouble finding a plunger as the electrician/maintenance was gone already. When I asked how are we supposed to use the restroom for the night they stumbled. They initially tried to find a plunger but called back saying they could not find one but could comp me two breakfast tixs for the inconvenience …that’s when I said if you can’t fix it i need another remedy like finding a different hotel and a refund for the stay. They said they would get back to me. Got a follow up call they found a plunger and would still give me the breakfast tixs (which I never got). And housekeeping, unfortunately never got during our stay. We had to ask for extra towels from hotel staff. I’ll pass on this brand in the future.

We got there late at night. The shower was missing the shower curtain, so we had to be moved to another room that did have a shower curtain. I found a lot of hair on the floor from previous guests. There was no laundromat at this hotel, the pool wasn’t heated. No microwave in the room, and no small freezer in the small fridge unit.

My only disappointment was the check in with Emily who put us in a handicap room stating it was the only room left and I had no guarantee in the room I picked because I went through a 3rd party. I immediately went to their website and there was one room left that she could have given us. Didn’t appreciate the lie. The room was still nice just no shower door. Great location with lots of eating options.

The hotel itself was fine - cozy beds, clean and quiet room, close to the airport. Their shuttle service is not great. They offer free airport shuttle but it’s only free during certain hours then you have to pay … a lot. They also don’t have a water refill station besides from a sink.

Arriving on 02/20/26 we came from out of town. We are frequent visitors of the Cambria LAX. On 02/21/26 our shower wasn’t working. We had to take a cold shower because their boilers are new and electric. They had to reset it and it was going to take several hours. Which delayed our events we came to attend. However the manager Kiana Bland was very rude to us after informing her that our shower did not produce any hot water. Telling us we can check out and go to another hotel. Which would be an inconvenience to us. When we asked for the corporate number she gave us the wrong number. Here it is day two 02/22/26 The front desk receptionist with the red braids lied to my face saying that there was nothing wrong with the water boilers. So I requested for maintenance to come up so they can tell her that our shower was cold. When maintenance arrived to our room he let us know that the boilers wasn’t on AGAIN. They had just reset it and it’ll be a several more hours. I’m very disappointed in the representation of this location. As a frequent visitor I will never come back here.

More customer service training should be required, as tired travelers checking in do appreciate feeling like valued customers. Very overpriced at $200+ for a motel room. Room was not very clean, mattress springs broken and had to change room. Walls are thin so you can hear everything and everyone else. 2 stars for the bartenders. Do not recommend.

After driving seven hours to reach the hotel, this was very disappointing. When I entered the room on the fifth floor, I was especially upset that no one had communicated the reason for the change. I have been using this Cambria Hotel for nearly 15 years whenever I need to stay close to LAX, and this was the most disappointing experience I have had there. Clear and courteous communication is a basic expectation in hospitality, and I believe this situation could have been handled much more professionally

We were forced to stay overnight, but the sofa still did not have proper bedding, and the hotel was unable to provide an equivalent accommodation. As a result, we were unable to rest properly last night, which significantly impacted our stay. I am requesting a refund or partial refund due to hotel fault.

They charged me a pet fee at a dog friendly hotel and never asked if it was a service animal which I have documentation for. I was told to send an email with proof and I would be refunded but never was! There was also no soap in the shower and they charge $30 for parking on their property that has a parking lot ???

Overall the property was very nice. The staff at the front desk weren’t overly friendly but they did accommodate our needs and checked us in quickly. I will say my only complaint is the noise level isn’t very sound proof. We could hear the guests on each side of us clear as day, as well as the guests above us. This was a great location with easy access to the freeway, to local restaurants, the beach and the airport. We also loved how safe it felt.

Very friendly, was able to store our luggage till check in time and was able to get all of our rooms on the same floor I wish the bathroom door was able to lock, and would have been nice if you didn’t have to pay for the breakfast they offered. Plus the shuttle from hotel to airport I wouldn’t recommend, he drives to fast and didn’t drop off at the right airline.

The staff was rude, dismissive, and condescending. When we asked questions about things we were unfamiliar with, we were treated as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. Requests were met with a lack of urgency or care, and overall attentiveness was severely lacking. Given the cost of this stay, the conditions and service provided were unacceptable. I will not be staying here again and will be contacting corporate to formally report this experience. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and strongly believe that significant changes need to be made, as the current standards are far below what is expected.

We were warmly welcomed the moment we arrived with a warm smile and cool bottles of water. Our room was very clean and the style up to date. We were treated to a complimentary appetizer at the sports bar and enjoyed a very delicious platter of nachos. The bartender/server was absolutely delightful. Our stay was wonderful.

I was so pleasantly surprised by everything: super nice staff, clean hotel, super clean and quiet room. I was in from an international flight, so I ate a little in the restaurant and then for their breakfast buffet in the AM and everything was great. Clearly, there is some great management here because the staff were all happy and friendly.

This isn't a 4-star hotel; there was no shower door in the bathroom, the mattress was so flat it felt like I was sleeping on the floor, and the main door to the hotel room had a crack that allowed the guest outside in the hallway to see into the room. Why rate the hotel when guests don't get that 4-star experience everything about businesses is fake now is no authentication is just all lies.

I was assigned a room on a floor that was not clean. I requested another room and was upgraded to a room with an AC unit that was broken and a phone that didn't work. The room was clean and once I learned how to get the heater to work, I was very comfortable. When I reported these issues, I was given a free breakfast voucher as an accommodation for the inconveniences. The breakfast was good and the service even better. Overall it was a good stay.

--- Casual Version: Honestly, it was a pretty disappointing stay. I booked a room with a king bed, but when we arrived, they told us they didn’t have one available. The guy at the front desk said room types are only guaranteed if you book directly through the Choice website. It was late and we didn’t have any other options, so my wife and I had to take a room with two queen beds instead. We had also booked the room with breakfast included, but the front desk didn’t give us the breakfast voucher at check-in. The next morning we found out we needed it, which was really awkward. On top of that, the mattresses didn’t even fit the bed frames—they were smaller than the frames, so you actually had to step on the frame to get on the bed. Never seen anything like that before. BTW, i paid at least $24 more than other comparable options available, with the hope that Cambria experience would me much better and worth extea $24. Will for sure find a better option next time.

My $100 was deducted from my gift card balance but not actually used towards my hotel bill as it should have been so I paid more than expected. Bath tub needed some deep cleaning and you had to request cleaning services every single day which is not a convenience at all. But the lobby scent was the best I have ever smelled and it made my stay that much more pleasant.

We called to see if we were able to check in a little early because we had to attend a wedding before the check in time and were told it was not possible which we totally understand. When we were finished with the wedding I checked in and was told our reservation was canceled because it was a no show, however we were never contacted to confirm. We were still very understanding and was sorted out. The following morning we were woken up by what we assumed was laundry. I think our room was placed above the laundry area so our room was loud and shaking on and off. Also 2 separate times staff knocked on our door to clean the room starting at 9 am even though we had the privacy sign. The last time we were getting ready and not dressed and they opened the door because they didn't hear us answering to their knocking. The gentlemen told us that he was sorry and the front desk told told him that we had checked out, which we never did. It wasn't the best experience and highly uncomfortable

The Cambria served its purpose for our stay and offered a good central location. As far as the hotel room, bit of a miss, room noise can be quite loud due to thin walls, especially near the elevators. The cleanliness was another factor, not in a good way. The sheets had a blood stain on them, random people’s hair left in obvious to clean areas, the showers drain clogged and would pool at you feet, soap/shampoo provided were never refilled, 27$ a night to park. Too many misses to want to stay here again.

I’ve stayed here several times and the service was much better on those stays compared to this time. We’ve always been allowed to check in an hour early but this time we couldn’t without paying $50 since “none of the rooms were cleaned” so we’d have to pay them to prioritize our room. I think the lie offended me more than the price did. Well, that and her condescending manner of telling me about not being able to check in. We went to Manhattan Beach - highly recommend. Anyway, came back a little over an hour later and all of a sudden all the rooms were ready - for us and another 20 reservations. Then we get in the room - no bath soap, not enough towels, less than half a roll of to, etc. We had to go to the desk to get towels & tp. After the 2nd day we requested room service and still no bath soap or hand towels. Not major but the attitude from the front desk receptionist just made it feel personal. I’ve managed hotels before. Guest service is the most important differentiator. I’ll definitely stay at Aloft next time.

I’ve stayed at the Cambria in Anaheim before and it has always been a pleasant stay. In the other hand my stay at Cambria LAX was not so great, the room seemed a bit rough. The lights didn’t work we had to use the lamps from the night stand and dresser. Curtains were dirty and looked old. The bathroom had some mold around the corners of the wall and the sink faucet had white rust. Other than that their airport parking service was good I parked there for 18 days.

Staff was nice. Only 1 elevator in operation, and severely delayed us during peak hours (no signage that was out of order). Asked for room to be cleaned, but no follow through. Breakfast food tasted like cardboard. Clothing iron leaking water. Safe was malfunctioning and partially damaged. Pay for self-parking is pathetic. Stayed here in 2017 and quality was much better. Greed and operational inefficiencies resulting in lower quality and less than good guest experience. Finding a new hotel in my next visit to LA.

Booked this property because it's close to Sofi Stadium. when we arrived waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for shuttle bus at night. you have to call them, and turn on your roaming, they dont have whats app or connivence way to contact them. advised us it will be a white bus pick up us in 10-15 minutes. however waited 1 hour and half no white bus came. property is very old, sound proof is very bad, I can hear people walking and moving stuff above my floor. concierge is inpatient. lots of supplies they dont have when you ask. if you can find a place with similar price dont choose to stay here

Overall this hotel is great for an overnight stop at LAX. It is safe and clean. The front of house staff were quite rude. The person at the bar was lovely. She made sure everyone was looked after with drinks while also having to serve meals. I would stay there again next time we are in LAX.

With the exception of one woman, the front desk staff was unfriendly, unhelpful with lots of attitude. The second elevator was STILL broken a month after my last visit resulting in long waits every time you needed to go to and from your room and the one working elevator reeked of pot. At check-in, the front desk announced there would be no regular housekeeping service unless I made a special request despite the fact I was staying 3 nights. When I got to my room the card key did not work so I had to wait for the elevator 2 more times to come back up with a very nice young man from maintenance who opened the door. Inside, the entire room just didn't feel clean but especially the bathroom which came complete with black and brown mold and mikdew stains all over the shower ceiling. The hotel bot "Cam" kept texting me asking if my stay was okay and what could be done to improve it. I replied about the bathroom and sent a photo of the ceiling. I never got any response. The next morn I called the front desk and asked for the room to be made up and was told only "light housekeeping" was available which translated to leaving new towels and taking the trash out. When I got back that night the trash had not been taken out and a pile of towels were left on the sink. DO NOT STAY HE

You had to pay for everything - no complimentary breakfast, pay for parking etc. I feel like those things should be included and there should be an overnight or around the clock onsite engineer.
