I didn’t hate it or love it. It was a fair stay Property was “clean”. However, there was ants on counter and hair in sink.

The only thing I didn’t care for were the smell in the hallways. I think the carpet needs a deep clean. But other than that it was a great stay.

Weekend break was excellent

The room had ware and tare it had an old smell to it and the curtains didn’t close fully but closed.. carpet had some damage.

Property needs a lot of maintenance.

When checking in the first room bathtub knobs didn’t work so they moved us to another room what wasn’t I paid for we went from a king bed to a queen smh the manager tried to play me like I was crazy kept telling me it was a king so I waited until later that night came downstairs and asked another employee what was the room we were in she said Queen I waited until the next day to talk back to the manager and she still was saying the same thing she just didn’t want to credit me back so we only stay a week in that room I booked another room at the same hotel this room was very different very beautiful big very cleaner then the other ones everything looked updated… now would I recommend this hotel if he was in a situation as myself at the time then is stable but coming into town just looking for something that has a kitchen. Please pick your room wisely. but the location is nice. I’ve met three employees who were very nice. The manager too uptight always has a frown on her face like it’s somewhere that she doesn’t wanna be not polite at all The location

The staff and guests there were so friendly! They had their regulars that sat in the front and chatted early morning and they all greeted you with a huge smile. Really started your day right. The staff was extremely friendly too, we extended our stay a few times and they made the process quick and easy. Honestly felt at home here. The rooms had a full sized fridge and stove top to use too! Made cooking easy Wish they had a little more for breakfast but that’s okay. The coffee was delicious

The only problem was when I got in my room the remote didn't work and there wasn't a stopper for the tub wasn't there.

Very nice hotel to stay at very spacious and also a good area! Never had any trouble here with the WiFi like others. You can even upgrade your WiFi here and their hotels come with a full kitchen.

Parking was safe and easy. Breakfast was slightly better than a gas station. The room needs to be updated badly. The bed and linens were fine, but everything in the bathroom was dirty and old. There was an old used bar of soap in the shower. The sink had no stopper. The toliet had dried urine stains around the bottom. The bathroom ceiling was stained and gross. There was no cleaning in common areas as multiple times I saw dog poop. The food smells were gross throughout. Also how can a hotel not have an ice machine!

Everything was good for 1 night emergency after ny flight was cancelled.

The facility is well suitable for long term accommodation as its name states.

The description says fully equipped suite but this has nothing. Not a single cup or pan or spoon. However the coffee was hot in the morning and the staff was accommodating.

The front desk guy was very very rude and totally no sense of customer service !

The condition of the room was extremely unkept. Would not recommend due to the room having dirty bathrooms and hair left on the bed. Would only stay in case of an emergency.

Overall an affordable, decent option for emergencies! We needed somewhere to stay while plumbing was fixed at home. Staff was accommodating and friendly during our stay. Room and most public areas were clean; lots of dog poop outside, watch where you step!

The rooms are clean, but they are old and in need of updates. Although this is a non-smoking hotel, it reeks of smoke. They have no room service, but they have a towel and sheet exchange system (you bring the ones you've used to the office area and they give you clean ones to take to your room). I had no problem with the towels, but I would have liked some help with the bedding; however, they refused to assist. All in all, we had a clean, warm stay with the option of Coffee and breakfast snacks.

I felt as though it was an apartment complex, not a hotel and not in a good way. Bathrooms and kitchen area were gross, people eating dinner outside in lawn chairs, dogs barking all morning. Felt like a strange dream.

Solid location near O'Hare and the convention center. I thought it was a solid hotel for the price. Some neighbors in the hotel had complaints about the smell; I can't smell very well so I'll take their word for it. Bed was comfortable.

I booked for 3 days, only stayed for 2. Couldn't wait to leave. Trailer-trash tennants yelling at each other,, dogs barking in the hotel,,, The WORST Mattress I have ever slept on,, Anywhere,,, and the saddest looking "breakfast" of anywhere I have ever stayed (coffee & sad little muffins). The front door didn't work properly,, had to wait for someone on the inside to activate it,,, and then had to wait 15+ minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. The one thing I did like,, I appreciated them actually letting me check in a bit early,,, but it was ALL Downhill after that.

The night staff didn’t let me stayed outside for fifteen minutes and he was rude

Cracks and stains in the sink, missing laminate edge on the kitchen counter, rusty and dingy refrigerator (outside had been painted to try and cover up rust), dresser and night stand finish covered in scrapes and scratches showing particle board, lamp shades were all bent and covered in dust, wall behind bed was missing paint in a large area where bed had been rubbing against it for some time, and just generally old and worn. A/C worked well but sounded like a car running just outside. Only one elevator working in a 4 story building so long wait time in the morning to leave. No shampoo or gel for the shower (although a sign indicated you could requst this from the front desk. I would reccomend passing on this hotel unless you do not have other options.

An hour after we checked in we informed the FD that lights and TV aren’t working. We were told they will send someone to the room for the light. Surprisingly it seems they know about the issue on the TV. How come it wasn’t checked prior to arrival? Although we didn’t use it, it should have been checked

The room was perfectly quiet, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. I barely heard a sound during my entire stay, which made for a truly restful experience.

It was a short stay and the staff was great, however the state of the room was poor and it was also dirty, for example there was trash inside the air conditioning unit.

The rooms are large and bright, but the property shows wear. The rooms are advertised as having fully eqipped kitchens but there are no dishes, glasses or utensils. Had to go to the desk and asked for plates, knives and forks and got handed 2 of each. Made another trip for a coffee maker and another for water glasses. The clerk said that they didn't have any glasses just cups. I pointed out that the signage in the hotel claim a fully equipped kitchen, the answer was "that's all they give us". I stated that it was unacceptable and should be escalated to management. I was told, "You talk to management". The evening clerk was not helpfull and very unfriendly. I cannot recommend this hotel.

I had to refund the stay because there was only one room available and it smelled like smoke. I was told to sign a form that agree not to smoke in the rooms; just to get a room that smells like smoke. It was a horrible experience and unacceptable.

We have never stayed at such an unsafe hotel before. The people that lived there were very concerning, majority were high on something. Our room constantly smelled like wet dog. This morning there was a dog outside of our room that was viciously growling and barking. My sister stayed in another room on the first floor that was infested with ants crawling on the wall. All around awful.

This has got to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. It almost felt like a crack house and not a good one. The room smelled like smoke even though it's supposed to be non-smoking and smelled like pee. I called ahead for a late check-in because of a flight but when I showed up nobody was here to check me in finally a lady did come to help me and she was as nice as she could be but it was late. The room was definitely dirty the door had weird stains on all over it the floor was sticky. Some of the towels were yellowish and even one had small blood stains. It was already 2:30 in the morning by the time I got comfortable so trying to get a refund and finding another hotel wasn't going to happen. I ended up sleeping in my clothes on top of my jacket using my duffel bag as a pillow. Would never stay here again or any hotel in the chain. You should avoid it at all cost.

Facility assured me that I would have a handicap room upon reservation. I was assured again the day prior to check-in. Then upon check in I was told that the room was occupied by a long term tenant WHAT?????

Trust your instincts, this place is disgusting. It was dirty and smelled terrible. Fresh blood stains on carpet and parts of the kitchen had not been cleaned in a while... Or ever. Front desk was nice and polite which is pretty much the only good part of my stay.

Arrived late. Someone had urinated in the toilet and did not flush. Room had not been swept. Fridge in room rattled all night. Would not stay here again.

This hotel has great personnel very friendly and ready to help in every aspect. Only thing I did not like my neighbors smoking was very uncomfortable. I let the personnel know but was told I was told they count do anything, they had to actually catch them in the act. Like I said very uncomfortable.

The room was dirty (actual garbage on the floor), smelled bad, and was in very poor condition. The whole place is sorely in need of some upkeep and the continental breakfast was a joke. My standards are not high…a clean room and a fresh cup of coffee in the morning is all I required on this trip, but I will not be staying here again.

The furniture and kitchenette needs updating, the front desk people need to be more friendly or at least amenable. The key cards do not work for the back door of the back of the building.

The maintenance that arrived acknowledged that this was the second time someone complained about hot water issue on our floor. Secondly the sheets and the room was dusty and the carpet was old and torned. We could not sleep due to allergies from dust. I had to check out early to sleep some where else as we have a return to Germany today. Very sad experience.

We did not stay at this property. We checked in got to our room and it smelled so bad i wouldnt stay there. It was not well maintained. Very run down and dirty. Ended up finding another hotel on our own. Unfortunately we lost our money but couldnt stay there and be comfortable.

This is an older hotel that has some updates. Bathtub was updated but not sink. Newer carpeting. Older kitchen features. It is nice to have a full sized refrigerator. It is a 18 minute ride to the airport. Take Lyft. Getting there, we took a taxi as we were at the wrong terminal for Lyft and were tired. Twice the price of Lyft.

I've been a loyal customer of Extended Stay America for quite some time. I really appreciate the fully equipped kitchen and the guest laundry facilities. It truly gives me a homey vibe.

Unfortunately my check in took a long time, I understand they have other things to do but I was waiting for quite a while to be able to check in. The room and the hallways smelled like wet dog/animals. That was my biggest complaint because it smelled that way in my room as well, I know people are allowed to bring their pets but I almost wish there was a wing or a section of the hotel where the pets were staying separate from just hotel guests.

Clean but a bit worn/run-down. Pet-friendly but dog poop on outside grounds is almost overwhelming, despite there being signs about state law being to pick it up (most seem not to do so, and amounts of poop we’re almost overwhelming; I picked my two small dogs’ poops up - just to do the right thing). I had to go to counter five times to get plastic room keys re-programmed, which was quite inconvenient. Neighbors on floor are quite inconsiderate - kids hollering and parents calling for them, which agitated my dogs. I got used to it, thankfully. And was able to sleep well. Refrigerated and microwave are quite worn but at least they work, and seems clean but with strong smell of curry. I wouldn’t recommend only because people I know are very fussy and expect a lot more than this but I feel I have little choice because of dogs, so I’m grateful for the option. The two ladies at the desk could not have been nicer and more helpful with my problem with the keys. I couldn’t believe that it kept happening and was lucky enough to have it happen at times when the ladies were around the desk although I had to wait over 20 minutes one of the times, because she was away helping another traveler.

This was the most disgusting place ever. There were blood stains on the carpet and i knew they did not clean the room thoroughly as my dog webt ubder the bed, and he found food, prescription medication, tissues and who knows what else under there. Didnt even stay, as soon as i found the blood i left. Tried to contact the hotel to get a refund, no one has reached out. Its been a week now.

The bad smell in the room and in the hallways, it smelled like pure dog urine. The days we were there, they did not clean the room. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I don't think I will ever go back to a place like that. It's disgusting.

The property has easy access to freeway, stores for shopping and restaurants. The staff here is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

They charged me $27.5 for 1 night for my small dog though there was no info about it when booking on Expedia. Also they have so old fridge and heater that when they turned on every 2 hours it was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I don't recommend this hotel.

The Room look very dated, old, and the security latch was broken. The night attended said there was no one who could fix the door safety latch. When i woke i saw that the walls was damaged with a big 4 inch dint and another 4 inch hole. I explained to management of these issues and should not be charged for any damages. I was only given 15 percent discount, where it should have been much more since my security of being safe was not given.

The worst part is that i got 3 reminder from the hotel about not smoking and here people are smoking in non smoking room and no one cares. I was tired so stayed in this hotel, never again

The fridge was old and rusty and the door opened backwards. There was no conditioner in the bathroom. The breakfast was only oatmeal, muffins, and a breakfast bar and the coffee was empty. The front desk was closed so no one could refill it.

The room was not clean at all as well as roaches being inside of the room.
