EVEN Hotel Denver Tech Center-Englewood by IHG

As far as an IHG hotel, it was just 'fine'. The room was clean, though there was a slight smell. The staff was friendly, but it seemed like no one was at the front desk or the restaurant any time that I came through (which was several times throughout the day). So. on the surface, having exercise equipment in the room seems like a great idea. Until the person ABOVE you starts using the equipment. When it happened in the afternoon, I thought it was an earthquake at first. Literally. The room shook. I would assume that the person exercising was either doing it right...or doing it way wrong. Anyway, I was able to continue my work with noise-cancelling headphones and the mindful hope that someone else was bettering themselves. Until it happened again...at 11pm. At that point, it was too late in my stay to ask for a new room, but I would highly recommend asking for a 4th floor room, especially if you have no interest in learning what it sounds like for someone to throw an exercise ball above your head.

Room was clean and the staff was helpful. Property overall a little dated. Was no breakfast served – they only have food Monday through Wednesday? Seems pretty silly to me… The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Very clean and well kept property. We had a room with a king size bed, extremely comfortable. In room exercise area a very unique idea although we did not have time to use it. Great shower with rainfall shower head. Nice plant based shower products. Easy to get to hotel off I-25.

It was cheap It stunk, you could hear the people above you walking around all night, the elevator worked sometimes( got stuck in it) they apparently had never cleaned under the beds ( dropped something and was looking for it and under the beds were absolutely disgusting

The drain in the bathtub was so clogged that it wouldn’t drain and I had to pull a clump of rotten hair 18 inches long out of the drain so my children could bathe.

I would definitely recommend! Staff, room and cleanliness was superb!

The person working the 5-11 shift Sergei was super kind and very good to talk to made the stay even better than it already was.

One room has a broken window, my next room has a flooding shower, but the third room good. The staff was amazing though and helped all the way. Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast burrito at the taco truck in front is better than the food at the hotel restaurant.

We arrived close to 5 pm with plans to quickly get ready so we could attend our event that started at 6 pm. We had two rooms reserved and unfortunately no rooms were available as they were still being cleaned. The clerk checked with her boss who agreed to give a credit of $20 off each room, the clerk offered to allow us to use outlets in the lobby and bathroom so we could get ready. It took about 30 minutes and a room became available. We were not able to check into the second room until we returned from our event. The Hotel and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel mentioned having a staffing issue on that day and were apologetic. I do not see that a credit had been issued as of yet. We will see.

This place was absolutely amazing!!!! Can’t wait to go back there!!

I needed a crib for my baby. They were very accommodating. Who needed a suite that had a separated door for the bedroom and they also accommodated me there. So very helpful to put me away from the elevators on the 4th floor since I had a baby and that would keep down the noise in my room. I am very happy with my trip and the price was wonderful. The area is very business oriented and feels safe even when coming back in the dark at night.

This was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Such a cool hotel, and the price was fantastic. Definitely will be using this hotel when coming up to visit family again.

Really dig the pillows they use they feel great! The shower is also quite nice.

Unfortunately, it only got worse. I stayed for three days, and on two of those days, my room was not cleaned at all. No housekeeping, no fresh towels, nothing. On the final night, they “cleaned” the room by simply making the bed without even changing the sheets, which is honestly disgusting. To make matters worse, there is absolutely no real food service—no breakfast, no lunch, no dinner. The only option is a few sad items for sale downstairs that look like they’ve been sitting there for days. Nothing is fresh, and the coffee is truly awful.

My only reservation was that the bar was not open on the weekend.

Just before I left for the day around 8:30 am, an employee brought me another Keurig. She didn't speak English, and it was difficult to communicate, but we tested it, and it worked. She left the non-working unit in my room. Since I was concerned someone else might come and take the wrong unit away, I left a note on the non-working unit. Both units remained on my counter until I checked out a couple of days later. ;-) Despite the Keurig drama, the EVEN Hotel was clean, and I would stay there again.

It’s very clean and spacious room and spacious bathroom and the staff were very nice and friendly. Big windows which is a plus plus. Just realized I only tooked the video of it and not picture. They also have drinking water stations every floor, and have both cold and hot water(first time seeing this at a hotel which is really nice). Also I don’t know if this is normal but in that spacious bedroom they even provide yoga mat yoga ball and blocks etc. Check-in check out was very fast too!

Hotel is great we have stayed here 5-6 times now the staff is great prices are great overall a good hotel i didnt leave 5 stars is because i think housekeeping could clean up a little better and breakfast selection is terrible other than that we love this place. Location is excellent lots of stuff around.

I was asked to leave. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years and this was a first. According to the manager, there had been several curious occurrences in and around my room mostly when I wasn’t there, so they felt obliged to ask me to go.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and the exercise equipment provided in the room. I could not make excuses for not going to the fitness center.

The room is very modern and very clean

Our stay was great! The hotel is centrally located, clean, and comfortable. We didn’t try breakfast this visit but it is available in the hotel restaurant for an additional charge. Our daughter loved the moss wall at the reception desk and the receptionist at check in was so nice - she talked with her a little about it and even let her spray it with the spray bottle which was very kind. The room was clean and well appointed, everything was in good repair, and every staff interaction from check in to check out was great.

The hotel was very nice and had lots of amenities. It was very close to some restaurants and a Walmart so it was nice to be able to get a few things after arriving. The room was clean and staff was very polite. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. They “cleaned the room” which consisted of only taking the trash out. They didn’t make the bed or do anything else. They also left us towels and washcloths with makeup stains on them.

Upon checking in, I noticed some stains on the bedding, including what appeared to be blood on one of the pillowcases. Although the hotel clerk was prompt in providing a new pillowcase, it was still quite unsettling. The real disappointment came with the restaurant and bar experience. I frequently travel and prefer to stay at IHG hotels that have dining options, as it makes my trips more convenient. After a long 10-hour travel day, I was looking forward to relaxing at the bar/restaurant, which opened at 5 PM. I left my room at 5:30 PM, only to find the bartender sitting at the end of the bar, enjoying dinner with her significant other—30 minutes into her shift. As if she were a guest and not an employee… When she finally approached me, it felt aggressive as she immediately asked for my order without providing a menu or giving me a chance to sit down. It was clear that she was eager to get back to her dinner rather than provide any hospitality. I decided it was best not to disturb her and opted to go elsewhere for food instead. She also made a point of laughing and cracking jokes with her man as I left. This experience left me shocked at how low the standards of hospitality can be. It was very unpleasant. F-

Great staff in a dog-friendly space. The rooms are clean, as is the rest of the property. We loved the rain head shower too. The ONLY thing we wish the property had was a green space for the dog to run, but there are plenty of places for the dog to go.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and every time it is a pleasant stay and the rooms are clean I recommend this hotel for anybody for any occasion solo family trips it's a great hotel.

Staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Parkinglot was clean, offered boiling and gold water, nice bathroom, and very accommodating. Beds were very comfortable.

This hotel is kept clean and it has a quite neighborhood.

They could have dusted the a/c unit and provided free water in the fridge. It would have made the fridge not run as loud being completely empty. The food down stairs looked nice but they didn't accept cash. The bed should have been firmer especially given the sports theme. The gym was nice for a hotel albeit one of the treadmills was out of order. You could hear people walking on the floor above. Otherwise it was very quiet, easy parking, nice staff, loved the soaps and shower water pressure. The location was very convenient being next to the mall and several restaurants. Definitely a plus being close to the airport. Plenty of parking and safe and quiet at night.

The property was nice although the outside picture of the back firepits are a bit misleading. Our room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly but nothing above or beyond. The rooom had a coffee maker though the only coffee that was in there when we arrived was decaf and 1 tea. After a day out, I stopped at the front desk to ask for regular coffee for the morning and they still didn't have regular, but sent me with more decaf and a green tea. The next morning I stopped in the lobby to grab caffeinated coffee from the "gourmet machine" in the lobby. When I told the front desk clerk about the lack of regular coffee in the rooms and then asking the night before, I was told they had plenty and was charged $5 for the two cups I grabbed from the lobby, and was still not given regular coffee for my room.

This was my 1st time staying at a wellness hotel. Everything was amazing. The gym, the grab and go section, all the way to the shampoo and lotion. Will definitely be back.

Air conditioning was musty. Breakfast was not very easy to order. Check in staff -friendly...staff not friendly in morning check out or at breakfast. No vibe...very quiet and seemed like we were the only ones staying there

I called morning of check in and asked if I could possibly get an early check in, after a million questions and waiting 15 minutes, I got a yes, just show your id. I get there, there was a tall man at the front desk and was very rude when I said I spoke to someone about early check in this morning and I’m here to check in if possible. He stated that wasn’t possible and that I didn’t speak to anyone, because it wasn’t him, etc. after staring at the screen, giving tons of attitude and ignoring me, he found a room. I got settled left for dinner and came back, the rooms AC wasn’t working at all and was really hot and humid. I went down to the front desk and the girl was super kind and helpful and moved us immediately, no questions asked. She was the best part of the hotel. Any other time that man was at the front desk when we entered or left we got zero acknowledgment or kindness. He needs an attitude check.

I just needed a place to sleep in the middle of a 16-hour drive. This was a nice step up from lower-grade hotels, and it didn't cost much more than other places.

This place was good. We got a good deal. I don’t like that they require you to buy breakfast, it should come with the 160 dollar room. Front desk girl was awesome. In the evening the guy at front desk acted like he didn’t want to be there. He was very short and not friendly. Room was decent, sheets looked used but could have just been really wrinkly.

The front desk associate was rude at check in, charged $25 to check in 2 hours early which is whatever, but the room bathroom floor was filthy, the bedding was torn and room right across from the elevator and ice machine so you hear noise all night. I will not be going back there.

Our room was booked through expedia and when we checked in our room was given to another customer. We needed a 2 bed room with ADA access. We had to take a room with one bed and a pull out couch/bed. Total Seinfeld episode. The room was clean for the most part but the bedding needed to be changed. I would look at staying at other places before this one again.

It is a nice, well-kept property. The bar and restaurant will work in a pinch, but it’s definitely plan A. The staff was friendly. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. I’d certainly recommend it.

This is a “bare bones” hotel. Most places will have complimentary coffee available in the lobby or common area - want a cup here? It will cost you $4.00. The hotel needs very thorough cleaning. The rooms were tidied up - not cleaned. The floors were dirty, as was the bathroom. Rooms are very small.

I booked out a month on my room. I waited over 30mins for someone to get to the fromt desk. Get checked in and they have me a handicap room. Not what I asked for. I get to my room and it was a mess. Bed was slept in, towels everywhere & trash everywhere. Then they got e into another room. That room was dirty. My comforter was dirty with brown stuff and no towels in the room but one wash cloth and hand towel. Worst place I ever stayed at. I asked the girl to lower my price for putting me in the handicap.

Did not clean the room daily, had to pile up trash in the room. Did not refill coffee pods in room. Sink was clogged so water stayed and body fluids along with it. Mini fridge had water leaking on the floor. Why am I getting charged full price when I have to clean the room and bathroom myself. Unacceptable, will never stay with this brand of hotel and never book anything through expedia

Longer happy hour

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. My issue isn't with the hotel but with Hotels.com. I made my reservation for three but when I checked in, the room I thought I had reserved wasn't available and I had to get a second room to sleep three adults. The girl at the front desk said that happens sometimes with third party reservations.

I gave a 3 star on the staff because there was no service for breakfast. One guy was trying to do that and run the front desk. You have to pay for breakfast, that was not explained to me, and i had to wait almost 10 minutes just to order. Then my order was incorrect so i had to wait again. Other than that, my stay was fine. I loved having exercise/yoga things in my room so i didn't have to go downstairs.

Awesome fitness concept

I liked the yoga corner. I am 50 with back issues and that was a brilliant experience. Just having a roller was wonderful with the yoga mat but the additional bands were so great. Very clean and super nice employees. Tucked away and around the corner by car lots of food and Target!

I always stay at this hotel when in Englewood. Good location and good service.

The property was very nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. However, we could hear a lot of traffic noise, and on our last night, someone was playing music a few doors down or next to us, which was quite loud. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again. I just hope to get a room that is not close to the parking area.

My favorite place to stay. The room was clean and smelled fresh. My room was missing hand soap and I called customer service. They had it ready when I went down for it. I felt comfortable walking barefooted in the floor. The bed was nice and comfortable lighting was great.

The room was updated and very clean! Staff was very nice and helpful with suggesting scenic areas to visit. The restaurant/bar was convenient, small menu but very good. Last but not least, I really enjoyed the flavored waters they provided.

At night it sounded like there was a speedway right through our room.

The website says they have laundry facilities. They do not. They offer 1 small load service the next day. No complementary breakfast and no convenient place nearby. All and all, not that great a place to stay.

There was alot of noise not sure from above my room or the hallways. Made it hard to sleep. Work outs in the rooms should be limited to certain times.

The rooms just seemed dirty here and especially the bathroom. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. There’s a few restaurants very close by.

The front desk worker was extremely accommodating. She saw that I was struggling to stand up and brought me a chair to complete the check in process. She really made me feel welcome. We then got to our room and it was beautiful. Definitely will stay here again

The first room we had smelled like pot and the people over us were stomping around. We switched and the second room had a non-working TV. The third room worked though the bathroom floors were dirty. There was no regular creamer for coffee, and none of the outdoor fireplaces worked because there was no propane.

Truly terrible experience. First morning (6:00am) the toilet wasn’t flushing. Front desk handed my wife a plunger and a rubber glove! Toilet proceeded to overflow and when we asked for another room they said there were no rooms available. There weren’t more than 15 cars in the parking. Half hour later they called and said they had a room. Soaps were empty. Coffee was $4. Staff was unfriendly. Avoid.

The flooring and celling is very week i can here peoplle foot steps! I Woke up at 7 o’clock from the sound of people walking.
