Our favorite spot to stay in Fort Collins. Perfect location and the atmosphere is second to none. Can’t recommend it enough.
- 5/5
Location is convenient. Beautiful interior
- 5/5
Exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms need more plugs or charging ports. Parking areas did not have signage so it was difficult to know the proper place to park.

I loved staying here! Its such a nice clean cute place in the heart of old town. Walk to just about anything you want ot need. The rooms are super comfortable, decorated so cute, showers are great, lobby is great place to hang out. I’ll stay here again for sure.

Wonderful boutique hotel experience closse to many great boutiques and restaurants. Easy parking and incredible staff.
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay really memorable and we’re excited to return one day soon. The live music on their outdoor patio was lovely and Ace Gillette in the basement was so fun for a nightcap. We were there when it was 94 degrees out but their Air Conditioning kept us nice and cool. The hotel is charming and close to everything in town. The bartender at Ace Cafe needs some training. Her personality was wonderful but the drinks were borderline undrinkable and we had to send a couple of the back.
- 4.5/5
Very comfortable room and bed. Staff friendly. Did offer cookies in evening and coffee in the morning. Good location for what we wanted to do. Close to many restaurants. Not much of a view from our room. No breakfast or pool.

Great location and great staff. Loved the bar in the basement. Very cool lobby. Convenient parking. Housekeeping checked in with us every morning. You're right in the heart of downtown within walking distance of just about everything. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The dinner at Ace Gillett's and the brunch in the hotel lobby were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Great staff and a clean boutique experience!
- 5/5
We used to live in Fort Collins and I always dreamed of staying just one night in the Armstrong. On our visit this year, we finally did just that and we’re beyond pleased!! Beautiful rooms, fantastic location (didn’t need our car even once during our stay - mind you, we were more than comfortable with walking as far as O’Dell’s and New Belgium. Everything else you need in Old Town is literally steps away) Cannot wait to come back and will 100% stay here every time we visit FoCo!
- 5/5
Really easy to park our car at the back of the hotel. Very friendly staff on reception and beautiful spacious room and bathroom. Right in the downtown area so very walkable to all shops bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend this gorgeous hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, wish they didn't pump so much air freshener through the vents though. It was a bit much. Would stay there again though! Excellent location
- 5/5
This is a fabulous boutique hotel in the Old Town neighborhood which is center of all that is great about Fort Collins, and perfect for those who want to be within walking distance to all the shops, wonderful restaurants, and music scene. Great old updated hotel in the heart of Fort Collins! Walk to shops, eateries, as you enjoy your stay in Fort Collins.
- 5/5
Loved the property. Room was excellent. Very nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Was disappointed the bar was closed on the day we stayed but no fault of the property, everyone needs a day off. Highly recommend this hotel.

- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Room was small but cozy and staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
Only complaint was that the room was a little small, and the noise was loud. Very little sound proofing due to the vintage building. We could easily hear our next door neighbors at night and in the morning. Otherwise it was a great stay.
- 5/5
Cute room, great staff and great location!
- 5/5
Great location for visiting CSU. Charming hotel with excellent service. We will be back!

- 5/5
Clean room, clean and check in went well.
- 5/5
A very cool place to stay.
- 5/5
The perfect location to enjoy exploring Fort Collins. The Hotel was a charming old building right on college street and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Much older than I’ve ever been in but everything from cleanliness to staff was superb. Room was on Main Street so more traffic but at night barely heard anything. Perfect for food lovers walking around downtown super close to CSU. Would definitely stay again. I stayed three nights . Also nice hidden lounge downstairs must see.
- 4/5
The hotel was very unique and historic. It is in a great downtown location and easy to walk to wonderful restaurants and shopping. There is a mini fridge, but no microwave. The rooms are pretty small, which is common for most historic hotels. The decor is very nice and cozy. If I had to complain about anything it would be the outside noise since it is in a busy area with lots of foot traffic. Staff are very friendly and accomodating.
- 5/5
I love this place. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, super clean rooms. I've already book another stay there.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, very clean with a pleasant old west vibe about the decor. The speakeasy in the lower level and the Attached coffee shop make this a convenient spot. Nightlife abounds in downtown Ft Collins from restaurants and baes to cool shops. My partner and I would go back just to explore.
- 5/5
2nd time to stay at the Armstrong. Great quaint hotel with a great atmosphere. Walking distance to all of Old Town.

- 5/5
The room was fantastic and the staff was exceptionally nice. My issues were with hotels.com, NOT The Armstrong.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome, room was great.
- 5/5
Fab hotel and great staff
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was nice. We only had one issue last morning the power went out when we were leaving.
- 5/5
Our suite was well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful. Wonderful location for enjoying Old Town.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. Right in the heart of downtown Ft. Collins, beautifully decorated, close to fabulous restaurants and the best coffee in town right next door. Top it off with friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable beds and outstanding cleanliness - this is my definite choice when I'm in Ft. Collins.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition. It just was small and a very drafty hotel. Plus there was a very strange odor that was start around three or four in the morning from someplace cooking around the area like maybe a diner or a coffee shop.
- 5/5
Great location, staff, and amenities.
- 4/5
Room was clean, they provide ear plugs. use them as trains are going by at early hours and blaring horns and trucks backing up with their beepers at crazy early hours.
- 5/5
The hotel was great, they upgraded us to a suite. Room was clean, bed was actually comfortable. Convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. We stayed on Valentine’s weekend. Will be back again.

- 5/5
Staff was great, room clean, cool hotel
- 5/5
This is a gem of a hotel. Great proximity to bars and restaurants. Very kind desk staff. The room was beautiful and we walked into bird sounds when we opened the door. But the best part is the bar/lounge on the ground floor of the hotel. Absolutely stunning and very cool.
- 5/5
The front desk clerk was awesome. Thank you for being patient with us, Kinsey
- 5/5
Nice classic hotel near everything.
- 5/5

Good, fun location. VIP was not special
- 5/5
Very easy to do business with. Right in the heart of fun.
- 5/5
I came to the hotel specifically to take a couple of quiet days to rest and recharge before. The staff was outstanding, especially Ed at the front desk, who greeted me by name every time with genuine warmth and kindness. It truly felt like a welcoming home away from home. Highly recommend this boutique gem for anyone seeking comfort and caring service in Old Town Fort Collins! Stayed December 2025 10/10 – I’ll be back!
- 5/5
We have stayed at the Armstrong the last several years on trips to Fort Collins. It's a great hotel with easy walking to great places to eat and drink downtown.
- 5/5
Very welcoming and accommodating. Unique hotel in a terrific central location. Recommendations by front desk for nearby eateries, coffee etc were very good. Only negative, which is small, was the bathroom temperature was very cold, a solid 15 degrees below the room; there was a radiator heater in the bathroom but staff said it could not be activated unless the outside temperature was below freezing! And no space heaters available. Overall a very small issue though for an otherwise very pleasant stay
- 5/5
Very nice & friendly staff. Will go again
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. The staff took excellent care of us in a hard situation in our lives. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Fort Collins.
- 5/5
Clean, adorable, staff was incredible!
- 5/5
The large room
- 5/5
Location !
- 4/5
Nice clean rooms best bank for the buck. You’ll get anywhere in the LA area.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, and quiet for a downtown location. The staff was very helpful. Excellent location to access fooderies and shopping.
- 5/5
Could have used some sort of chair in the room, but otherwise, just perfect.
- 5/5
Missed cleaning one day out of ten but rest was good. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Lounge bar attached to hotel. Generally very good but at weekends a victim of its own success. Open to the public, it can be hard to get in. Food outlets attached to hotel give great choice for all meals.
- 5/5
Every time I come to Fort Collins, this is where I love to stay. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. The bedding is heaven and the staff is top-notch always so kind fun and professional. The speakeasy in the lower level is really fun great vibes.
- 5/5
Staff was great! Helped us find parking and had treats for our dog
- 5/5
great stay and staff
- 4/5
Perfect location. Lovely lobby. Comfortable bed. Room lacked a comfortable chair. Cheerful staff.
- 5/5
A nice fresh feel to the hotel and maintaining its historical charm. Well done!
- 5/5
Staff is wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. They were even able to accommodate our request to stay in the same room (from a previous stay). The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Walking distance from shopping, dining, and concert venue. Staff immediately responded when our smoke detector battery died at 4:30 a.m. This is our go to hotel when we have a weekend getaway in Ft. Collins.
- 4/5

Always a fave of mine when visiting my daughter at CSU! The hotel is right in the middle of downtown, near lots of shopping and restaurants, has a great cocktail bar downstairs, always friendly and accommodating staff, safe, easy parking, cozy bed (pillows are awesome)… just lovely!
- 5/5
One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Everything is just perfect here from the time you approach the door. Amazing location! Don’t even think twice about it. Just book it.
- 5/5
Cool fun stay. An extremely attentive staff for a well decorated clean and quite room. Great restaurants near. Parking near by.

- 5/5
Mia and the staff were awesome, we had a great stay and will definitely book next time we are in town.
- 4/5
Well appointed room, great restaurant in the hotel and others nearby. Friendly staff. Was a bit loud but didn’t persist too late.
- 5/5
We loved our stay! It was such a cute place; incredibly clean, conveniently located, and wonderful staff. Will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great location, comfortable bed. Food was fantastic as were the drinks. Bar tenders were great! Why not 5 stars? Few reasons, no smart TVs, tiny bathrooms(which is understandable given the buildings age) and very “creeky” floors(enough to wake you if anyone in the room gets up or the room above you). Again it’s an old building but still it’s a distractor. Can’t beat the location but know your not getting a long nights sleep if there’s any activity.
- 5/5
Room clean, well organized! We were able to get ajoining rooms (without even asking) when they saw out daughter, who had her own room, was on crutches!! Very nice staff and reserved parking was great!
- 5/5
Great staff. Great beds. Wonderful location. Just great all around
- 5/5
Perfect location, nice elegant hotel.
- 5/5
This place is so quaint and the decor is so well thought out. The room was nice and big. The hotel smells so fresh and clean. The staff and bar/lounge were also fun. I would most definitely stay here again. Also, location is great and you can walk to everything.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful and cute hotel. It felt like home to me the room was small but perfect . Had a great vibe and the staff was very friendly and welcoming . I would definitely stay here again !
- 5/5
Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and neat. Beds were super comfortable wish we had more time location is walking distance to everything.

- 5/5
amazing location. Comfortable bed and linens. friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Wonderful property, great staff.
- 5/5
Such a cute hotel located right in the heart of downtown.
- 5/5
This is a one Michelin 🗝️ Property and you can tell from the moment you walk in the door. We were greeted by Amanda. The automatic door opening was nice. It is a boutique hotel in the heart of Fort Collins near a yummy cafe. Our room was extremely large, clean, well maintained and stocked. The bed was topped with a lovely duvet and blanket. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
- 5/5
This is an exceptional hotel always enjoy staying here when I visit Fort Collins. The staff is very friendly, nice and accommodating. Rooms are very nice and spacious. And very close to everything in old town.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
From the late check in accommodations, friendly staff, comfortable bed and good vibe room. All was better than expected
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff, quiet.
- 1/5
The hotel is cute but be aware that there are a lot of rooms that are above a restaurant that blasts loud music until late at night. We were lying awake for 3 hours and talked to the front desk several times but they were not able to help. These rooms also don't have natural sunlight (looking out on a building that is 6 feet away). It was an extremely frustrating experience for us as this was supposed to be a much needed get-away!
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly personable and attentive. Rooms were
- 1/5
They provide ear plugs but they did almost nothing bc the noise is CONSTANT. such a shame bc the hotel is otherwise quite lovely. I would never stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff is our favorite, the rooms are fun and always clean. Beds are comfy and our room was on the backside so it was very quiet. This is one of our favorites places to go to get away even if it is for one night while driving through Fort Collins.
- 5/5
Lovely boutique hotel. Room was cute with very nice bedding. Staff was incredible.
- 5/5
Interesting, historic building in downtown Ft. Collins. Lots of reswtaurants in walking distance, easy to find quality coffee in the morning.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room. Well-located hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant in the basement with live music.
- 5/5
This was my second time staying at the Armstrong hotel. It is a very unique property to the area, not a hotel chain. It’s one of 11 Michelin star hotels. The building is older so what you lose in amenities, room size, and the classical design of the building, you gain in unique charm, friendly service, and a huge personality of a hotel. I love it! There’s not many hotels like this anymore so it’s always fun to stay somewhere that is a one-of-a-kind hotel. We enjoyed the basement bar and secret rooms that you can sit sit and relax in. The Front Desk staff is absolutely the best! I wish I had their names, but this hotel is lucky to have such great personalities run the Front Desk.
- 5/5
Great little boutique hotel in the heart of FOCO!
- 3/5
Nice boutique hotel, great staff but overpriced
- 5/5
My second stay while visiting my daughter at CSU & still love it! It’s a unique boutique hotel with great, personalized touches that make you feel safe, welcomed, comfortable. The staff are all amazing, the cafe on site is yummy, the location right in the center of Old Town is perfect! Def a must try!
- 4/5
Great location!!! Cute hotel, nice rooms.
- 5/5
Clean room, very walkable area, staff was super friendly
- 4/5
The staff was AMAZING!!!! lived everyone who we met. So fun, friendly, quick with responses!!
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Love the Nespresso in the room. Had a small fridge, but a microwave would be nice. Found out (too late) at the front desk that electric kettles were available. Even the College ave facing rooms were quiet.
- 5/5
Former bed would be nice
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Very nice staff.
- 5/5
Love staying at The Armstrong hotel. Can walk everywhere, and the staff is so great!
- 5/5
We love this hotel! We always try to book the Armstrong when we come to Fort Collins
- 5/5
We loved the Armstrong and will probably stay again. Clean, great staff, lots of shopping nearby and restaurants.
- 4/5
Great staff
- 5/5
We love The Armstrong Hotel! The room we had this time could use new tile in the shower and bathroom floor but that won’t prevent us from returning! See you next time, Armstrong!
- 5/5
In town for granddaugher's birth. Most comfortable bed and sheets ever!
- 5/5
The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The location can't be beat. The lobby is cozy and a great place to get some work done in the morning while the sun is streaming through the windows. The bikes are a bonus, and we used them to go on a little bike bar crawl with our new 21-year-old.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I enjoyed my five day stay here visiting my daughter. My inside room was very quiet, and clean. I was impressed by its eco friendliness, with nice extras like a jar of face cleaning products and ear buds by the bedside for noise reduction. (Which I didn’t need!) My favorite was the Nespresso coffee machine. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The downtown location was perfect. I could easily walk to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
- 5/5
Very cool place to stay
- 5/5
This hotel is right in the middle of downtown close to restaurants, etc. The front staff is awesome and we're so good to our dogs. Hotel has a great vibe. Excellent place to stay.
- 5/5
The hotel is so charming and I love the history of that space. We enjoyed how close we were to everything and being able to just walk out the door and stroll the beautiful streets. The staff always greeted us and helped us with any questions we had about the area. We will definitely visit The Armstrong again!
- 5/5
The guy check us in was an awesome host and really handled everything right.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and professional staff. Ransom got me an early check in after a very long flight.
- 4/5
Great location downtown. Use the provided ear plugs for the train that goes through at 1AM.
- 5/5
Right downtown and super close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Staff very personable and helpful. Love the history of the hotel. Comfortable beds!
- 4/5
I love The Armstrong Hotel & have stayed here many times. Unique vibe, friendly staff, perfect Old Town location! Just be mindful of the thin walls, particularly if you're hoping to sleep in.
- 5/5
We love this place. Anytime we need to stay in Fort Collins, we stay here. It’s very quiet and easy walking to shop.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and attentive
- 5/5
Perfect location in Ft. Collins. Loved the hotel and the connected Mugs Coffee Shop! Would highly recommend The Armstrong!
- 5/5
Love this place! Charming, romantic and amazing location. Ace gillettes is a must for drinks and food! Will definitely be back!!!
- 5/5
Location is perfect for in town walkability. The staff is utterly amazing! Breakfast on the patio was way above average, cocktails in the lower level bar and lounge were fabulous. The room was spacious and comfortable with excellent bedding. Can’t wait to go back!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in an incredible location.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay at The Armstrong. Great area and access to restaurants, breweries and the free bikes (cruiser style) were a fun way to explore town. There was definitely a lot of Febreeze type air freshener smell that irritated my allergies so be aware if this is a concern for you. Also, this is an updated older hotel so it is very easy to hear through walls and into the hallway. They do supply ear plugs in the rooms and overall the sound wasn’t too bad for us.
- 5/5
Very homey vibes! Staff was so friendly and the breakfast was great! Definitely would suggest staying here
- 5/5
Charming, convenient, clean, vibrant, unique!
- 5/5
Great location and awesome staff
- 5/5
Very beautiful place to stay
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing! We were really taken care of and Fred that was working the front reception really made my daughter and I feel cared for, he was so helpful, professional and friendly. We loved how clean and inviting the hotel was. Our room was perfect and the Nespresso machine was a nice surprise. The bed was comfy too. The Speak Easy in the basement is a must!! We walked all everywhere in Old Town Fort Collins and were always excited to go back to the hotel. Free parking booking through Expedia was great!
- 5/5
It was amazing!
- 5/5
Great hotel and location.
- 5/5
Charming. Which we could have stayed longer.
- 5/5
Great overall!!!
- 5/5
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, we appreciated the historical story associated and overall found our stay comfortable. We'll be back!
- 5/5
We have stayed there multiple times and it never disappoints! The staff is amazing and (booking through this service) you get free parking.
- 4/5
Lovely place in great staff, but you have to wear the earplugs. Otherwise you will not be able to sleep because of the traffic noise.
- 5/5
The location is perfect! Staff were great and accommodating-we were able to get into our room earlier than expected- which helped our day turn out perfectly!.
- 5/5
I always stay here when visiting. Great staff and location. You do have to pay extra to park in the two lots. Great coffee shop on the corner.
- 5/5
great place in a great area.
- 5/5
Absolutely love The Armstrong hotel! I stay here whenever I’m in FoCo, the staff members are all so friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Oh my goodness this hotel is SO COOL. We spent an hour exploring the lobby.
- 5/5
Super cute, boutique hotel right in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins. Wonderful staff, great condition for an older building, great amenities, easy parking, close to restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Parking is tight
- 2/5
Walls are paper thin. I could hear so many outside conversations, door closings etc. the man in the room next store was having very clear phone sex for 2 hours at 1:30 in the morning, so clear that we could hear the woman on the other end of his line
- 5/5
Awesome place. Great remodel. Bar fantastic.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
We had a comfortable stay in this gorgeous historic hotel. We needed and enjoyed a quiet night here with a nice dinner in the lounge. Definitely recommend!
- 4/5
Very nice property in old town Ft. Collins! Walking distance to great food.
- 5/5
Great stay again, lovely staff, appreciated Expedia platinum extras of free parking and late check out. Good gym opposite you can use, great staff. Appreciated our request of a top floor room. Always a great stay.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, comfortable beds and rooms and easy to get every where!
- 4/5

- 5/5
Very friendly staff, great location, comfortable room.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, room was super clean and the location was perfect!

Awesome funky and functional downtown Fort Collins hotel. Great location
- 5/5
The Armstrong is clean, quiet with the greatest location The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was the perfect amount of friendly and helpful. I will always choose to stay there when in Fort Collins.
- 5/5
Staff was super awesome. Room was great. Area was great too! Try Mugs coffee right next door
- 5/5
Ed greeted us kindly and made sure we had everything we needed, despite our late arrival.
- 5/5
This was an amazing property with a bed to dream about!
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Cute and interesting hotel in downtown Fort Collins, close to many restaurants and bars.
- 4/5
Very comfotable
- 4/5
One a positive note, hotel is in great location and the front desk staff was awesome!
- 5/5
Excellent employees , room, location.
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms, exceptional experience provided by front desk staff (Ed and Charlie), and wonderful stay! Always look forward to staying at the Armstrong!
- 5/5
What an amazing hotel in a great location! Can’t recommend this hotel enough.
- 5/5
Stop in Ft. Collin’s on a long car trip. We chose the Armstrong and I’m so glad we did. It was unique, clean, and perfect location. Staff (Kenzie) was very helpful.
- 5/5
Room was beautiful. Bathroom was spacious, including a claw foot tub! Staff was cordial, helpful, friendly and proud of their hotel
- 5/5
Great old hotel…superb service…lots of charm…walking distance to so many restaurants and shops!
- 5/5
Great location. Staff went above & beyond.
- 5/5
What can I say about this fine historical hotel , If you are in Fort Collins Co it's the only place to stay !
- 2/5
Not at all what we expected particularly in light of what they were charging. Cut our time short left disappointed and found much better accommodations nearby.
- 5/5
The front desk service was super!
- 5/5
Our bed was comfortable, the hotel is quiet at night. We slept well and had a great shower. The amenities are nice. We’ll definitely stay at The Armstrong Hotel again. P.S. there may be a ghost, though. The elevator stopped on a floor and no one was there to enter. :) We love historical hotels.
- 5/5
The Armstrong is a wonderful boutique hotel! You can’t get a better location for exploring beautiful downtown Fort Collins. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you stay here if you ever have the opportunity to visit Fort Collins!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in a convenient location and wonderful staff. Food and drinks were great as well
- 5/5
I hope this gem never changes. Everything was excellent. Especially the hotel restaurant and bar area. Best experience I’ve ever had. The overall location was perfect.
- 2/5
This property is very historical and a pretty place. Down side is it is super loud and the walls are paper thin. It’s not somewhere you want to stay if you want to get a good nights sleep. You can hear everyone around you talking in normal voices in their rooms. When using the blow dryer the breaker went out. Had to call for maintenance to turn my lights back on in my room. I left a day early due to not being able to relax. Very noisy I can’t express that enough. Parking is extremely limited. I did not like that. They only have maybe 10 parking spots available for their guests. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. Bed was super soft and the bedding was soft. I won’t stay there again.
- 4/5
Great hotel but next to train tracks, just an fyi
- 5/5
Classic feeling nostalgic hotel. Great location in Old Town Fort Collins. Ace Gillet was a real Gem of a hangout! Loved it!
- 4/5
Very esthetically pleasing hotel. Staff was very nice, located in a great location and rooms are clean. But the room has a weird smell to it because of the bathroom. And since this hotel is right on a major road, the noise at night was so loud, mostly front the motorcycles.
- 5/5
Ed is the best! Every time we stay at the Armstrong, Ed is usually there and has never strayed us in the wrong direction. Best hotel in downtown Fort Fun! 💕
- 5/5
The property is old and unique. Very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. It is on a main street, so there is noise associated with that, but they thoughtfully provided earplugs. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
Only stayed here one night passing through but would stay here again. Cute boutique hotel with spacious rooms. Great area with walkable shops and dining options.
- 5/5
Excellent small hotel. The staff is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and homey and sweet. I've stayed twice so far and I'm very impressed and will stay again.
- 5/5
Great people and nice hotel in a perfect location.
- 5/5
Old Town!
- 5/5
I've stayed several times at the Armstrong, and it's always been a great experience. Staff are kind and helpful, the hotel is clean, and quiet.
- 5/5
Nice vintage hotel in downtown Fort Collins
- 5/5
Staff was super nice and helpful
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay and the staff is very friendly and responsive. Our room was ready a little early and it was nice to get a text notification. Thanks to Kenzie, Ed, Ransom, Eli and Rosie for your customer service. We stayed in a corner room and the space was amazing. Bed was wonderful and since we liked having the extra space in the living room. The location is so convenient and we always had a space to park. We will book again in the future.
- 5/5
A welcoming safe and close enough to enjoy the scenery
- 5/5
Very comfortable, restful, and obliging.
- 5/5
Great place to stay right in the heart of Ft. Collins. Walk or bike to everything.
- 4/5
Lovely older hotel in great location in the old downtown section of Fort Collins near the university. Friendly helpful staff. Door between bedroom and bathroom never quite closed properly even though staff tried to fix it. The charm of the place however makes it special.
- 5/5
Great restaurant and beautiful bar downstairs. Great servers and bartenders and a piano player in a cool lounge area
- 5/5
The establishment exudes a sophisticated, timeless ambiance, ensuring a repeat stay. Additionally, the basement bar is equally impressive.
- 5/5
Convenient and comfortable!
- 5/5
ImpressIve! 5 starts!
- 5/5
The Hotel was perfectly located! The staff were so welcoming and courteous. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Fort Collins. The Armstrong is our new favorite hotel!
- 5/5
Comfortable bed in a great location to enjoy Old Town area in FT. Collins
- 5/5
Located in the heart of Fort Collins, we chose the Armstrong to stay for my sister's graduation. It's centrally located, which was very convenient for getting around. We got to our hotel a little early, they were able to accommodate a slightly early check-in. They upgraded us and even gave us free parking, all of which was unexpected and very generous as we were not expecting anything like that! The room itself was very comfortable and we slept so well. The staff texted us updates of deals and events around the hotel which was pretty cool actually. 10/10 would recommend this neat hotel.
- 5/5
Great staff in a boutique historic hotel. Rooms well maintained but size as per early 30th century (tight quarters in bathrooms)
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
We loved our stay. Great hotel, great location and wonderful staff!
- 5/5
Hotel had a great location and enjoyed the styling and decor. Room was clean and pleasant. Front desk staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Super staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent location. Convenient parking and access to CSU and Old Town.
- 5/5
Staff is amazing. Location is primo!
- 5/5
Another great stay!
- 5/5
Fantastic room (we got the double queen and it was huge); so comfortable. And right in the heart of old town but very quiet. Really nice and helpful staff
- 5/5
Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on!
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It always smells so good, super comfy beds and centrally located for great eats and shopping!
- 5/5
I love the cleanliness.
- 5/5
Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Fort Collins. Gorgeous, yet period-appropriate renovation. Was wonderful not to have to take the car anywhere over the weekend.
- 5/5
Great location and wonderful atmosphere. Loved having a coffee shop right on the corner and could walk to all dinning options we were interested in. We didn't use them, but I saw bikes out front.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great location for restaurants and shops, lively lounge with great cocktails, Awesome Customer Service
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were home. Everyone working at the hotel is very nice and accommodating. The location is excellent with a lot of dining options around. We would highly recommend staying here! Of note, we had a dog, and you have to sign a waiver stating you won’t leave them in the room unattended (just a note to those traveling with pets).
- 5/5
Decore was awesome, staff was great and room was very clean
- 5/5
This is a great historic hotel in Old Town, with lots of awesome dining options within walking distance. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful decor in a convenient location.
- 5/5
Loved the vibe of the hotel
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Everything is high end. Some nice f the traffic could be heard in the room, but did not create any issues.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our quick stay at the Armstrong Hotel. The interior is beautifully decorated, it's dog-friendly, and has the most amazing downstairs bar/restaurant.
- 5/5
CHARMING old hotel with really unique rooms and a friendly front desk staff. The location is amazing - walk to CSU, walk to dinner, etc.
- 5/5
In the FoCo for the gathering of the ULLR faith. Great Staff. Great to see the true Colorado Spirit of Skiing and Snowboarding.. the true non Barbie Ken or "Gerillina Jerry" crowd at this spot. Great hotel.
- 5/5
Our second visit was as wonderful as our first…
- 5/5
Loved this boutique hotel
- 5/5
The staff went out of their way to assist!
- 3/5
Property needs a redesign in the rooms, yes this would be a “classic” hotel due to age. Functionality is dated and rather “creepy “ in the hallways to the rooms. Absolutely no parking, $20 per day to park a safe walking distance from the hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice with a great location. You can walk to bars, shops and restaurants all nearby.
- 5/5
Amazing customer service and fantastic location within walking distance to everything!!
- 5/5
Visiting my son. The location was perfect!! The staff was so nice.
- 4/5
Great location downtown with a bar and coffee shop in the same building. Amazing comfortable bed. It was a little loud with the train but it stopped around 10 p.m. The room is smaller than it looks from the pictures but it's nice and updated.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, close to everything. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great vibe for older hotel. Fantastic location.
- 5/5
The bed was very comfortable. The hotel lobby was inviting, a great place to read a book.
- 5/5
A lovely historic hotel renovated in the downtown area of Ft Collins. Near shopping, eating, coffee, cultural sites. Staff are always outstanding. Dog friendly. You know it is special the moment you walk in.
- 5/5
Great stay as usual lovely staff on site parking , appreciated later check out , some road noise in room 204 up to midnight but ear plugs and sound machine in room so did not effect sleep , some floor board sounds from room above so maybe ask for top floor room in future
- 5/5
Great staff, very clean property. Right in the middle of old town Shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
Will be my go to hotel in Ft Collins.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at the Armstrong Hotel. The place was charming, clean, and perfectly located—surrounded by cute shops, great food spots, and excellent coffee. The staff were lovely, personable, and made the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future!
- 5/5
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and we will definitely be back asap. Such a gorgeous building and the rooms are incredibly cute. Ransom in particular was incredibly friendly and helpful, his customer service alone has earned a solid 5/5 stars. He is an incredible employee and throughly deserving of any and all praise he receives. My only hope is that when my wife and I inevitably return, that he will be working. Perfect experience. 10/10. Thank you!
- 5/5
Great staff! Always enjoy my stay at The Armstrong!
- 5/5
Great location in old town, close to everything . Staff was great
- 5/5
The property was wonderful. Definitely an old historic hotel. Lots of charm. Great staff. Only request would be for a chair in the room
- 5/5
Excellent location , comfortable beds and super staff.
- 5/5
Had the best stay in Fort Collins. The Armstrong was perfection. Really trendy and centrally located. Easy parking. Staff was incredible and too care of me, knew my name the entire time. White glove service. Wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if I found myself back in Fort Collins.
- 5/5
cute place, staff was very nice, the area is very comfortable and convenient
- 4/5
A beautiful historic building, very clean room and excellent staff. We'll be back!
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
I LOVE this hotel. I have stayed here a few times. The staff are always very professional and friendly. My comment and review is based on the area - NOT the hotel itself. I was unfortunately surprised by the amount of homeless people in the area. We walked to a nearby park to let my toddler run around and play after spending 7 hours traveling in a car and encountered a homeless person at every street. Once we arrived at the park I turned to my husband and said I do not feel safe here, let’s just go back to the hotel. That’s the kind of park where your child finds a used needle at. Really unfortunate as I don’t remember the area being that bad during my previous stays. If you have to stay here for work or other reasons and just plan on staying on the same street for the restaurants I would still recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Couldn’t ask for anything better. I always liked this hotel
- 5/5
We were on a college tour and this property was convenient to CSU and old town Ft. Collins. Very walkable and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Large, clean room.
- 5/5
Great location, adorable property and rooms, loved the cruiser bikes available.
- 5/5
Just a quaint very comfortable hotel right in Old Town Ft Collins. The staff are very accommodating and personable and made me feel quite welcome. The rooms are simple old school with a touch of modern elegance. The beds are extremely comfortable and the pillows smell fresh. Very “boutique”. Off street parking is available. The elevator takes you down to the basement to Ace Gillette’s Lounge with live piano and a nice array of liquors and food. Old Town is right outside the front door. Ended up booking another night it was so comfortable. I think I’ve found a new weekend getaway spot.
- 5/5
Very comfy
- 5/5
Staff was superb!
- 5/5
Great setting, awesome lounge downstairs at Ace Gillettes
- 5/5
Quaint, clean and close to everything. Staff was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Hitel bar and lounge on first floor was very inviting and offered a nice bar, sitting area, and quiet breakout areas.
- 5/5
I would absolutely stay here again!
- 3/5
Mattress was very soft. I wish I would’ve requested the top floor because someone above us was crazy loud
- 5/5
Front desk staff very nice and attentive
- 4/5
Lovely hotel with great access to downtown Fort Collins.
- 5/5
This hotel right in the heart of Old Town Ft. Collins was a convenient location to the activity that brought us to town, which is why I chose it. I am so glad I did. We were offered early check in and Rosie took care of us and she was engaging and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was the in room coffee that was provided was not the standard watered down version that is available in all other hotels. The Armstrong provides Nespresso machines with real creamer options, not the powered gross option. This was the most amazing perk! We will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Staff were all very nice and responsive! The room was very clean and tidy. We took our two small dogs and they had dog beds and bowls available for them! We would stay there again!
- 5/5
It was as good as it gets. The Armstrong is a wonderful hotel.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and excellent location. The room was adorable with a kitchenette and Nespresso machine. Comfortable bed and linens. The restaurant was excellent and having MUGS cafe attached was an added bonus.
- 5/5
Great property. Walkable to plenty of shopping and dining options.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and friendly staff.
- 5/5
This was a great choice for me! The area is walkable with plenty of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. You can even see a peep of the Rockys near the parking areas.
- 5/5
This is my new favorite hotel in Ft. Collins. We stayed one night to visit our college student. The hotel is in prime location to Old Town, many options for food and fun. The hotel is very clean with unique features. Will definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very cool, chill and hip spot! I would recommend highly. The staff was super friendly with fun suggestions and responsiveness. Definitely going back!
- 5/5
THE place to stay in Fort Collins.
- 5/5
Great property in the heart of Old Town. Friendly and helpful staff. Room did not have a side chair. Otherwise, as expected and we'll furnished.
- 2/5
For the price paid, this was not worth the money. Noisy at night, small rooms, no breakfast available. The staff and service was great though. So 5 stars to them.
- 5/5
Been here a few times and a great experience every time
- 5/5
Convenient to all. I love that it has restaurants in the hotel and close by as Ft Collins doesn’t seem as safe as it once was.
- 5/5
This place was amazing. The bed was so comfortable and the towels were amazing also! We will definitely be staying here again! Walkable to everything and parking!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
I liked the fact the hotel has quiet hours. The bathroom was small but clean and had the essentials - nice towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. A bonus is there's great coffee and treats next door for the morning.
- 5/5
This is cleanest, most beautifully decorated hotel. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking everywhere in Ft Collins.
- 5/5
However Eli & Ransom was working the front desk and their customer service was first rate they made every effort to make my wifes stay magical they deserve credit. I had no cash on me for a tip it was late and they did so much I want to make sure they get recongized. Would defitnely recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Great place to stay in the heart of old town with everything in walking distance.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, excellent staff and location
- 5/5
Charming hotel. Amazing location. Great service. They provide earplugs as it’s next to the train tracks.
- 4/5
It is a great location right in the middle of downtown. Lots of restaurants within a block or two. The hotel is very well done and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The biggest issue is noise. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. Our upstairs neighbors sounds like they were pasing back and forth in boots at 5am.
- 4/5
Limited access to hotel checkin off busy street. Took a couple of trips to locate.
- 4/5
Loved gym access across the street!
- 5/5
The Armstrong Hotel is lovely. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is relaxing. I loved the charm of the books, artwork and rooms. It felt like a home away from home. The Speakeasy in the lower level lounge was a delightful suprise.
- 5/5
Great helpful staff and a beautiful room.
- 5/5
Always the best place in Ild Town to rest your head!
- 5/5
The hotel staff was so friendly. The hotel is cute and very close to anything we wanted to do. We walked a lot.
- 5/5
The Armstrong Hotel was fantastic! We had such a great time staying here. The location in downtown Fort Collins is PRIME. We never needed to get in the car. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We will absolutely be staying here again next time we visit Fort Collins.
- 3/5
Good location but very noisy hotel.
- 5/5
Customer service was spot on. Only complaint is that the walls are a bit thin so it's easy to hear other guests.
- 5/5
Love the old world charm, easy walking around, great restaurants and the staff friendly and accommodating. 5 stars from the Mulligans visiting from Maui.
- 5/5
Exceptional customer service and location!
