The bed was comfortable. The room was dated, torn ,worn out carpet with stains. Didnt feel clean at all. Head boards needed replacing. Not enough lighting for a buisness occupant.

The door to the room kept getting stuck when we tried to open it with the key. The carpets have a very bad stench. We went to the pool and the jacuzzi was filthy. Not to mention the many iguanas that took over the pool area. Huge ones just walking around and jumping on the chairs. It was horrible we couldn’t even relax. The hot water in the shower was also not working properly.

The hotel is overall clean and maintained. Even though I didn’t get the room I made reservations for. I just didn’t like the lizards and iguanas surround the pool area when you go swimming. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

There were toenail clipping in the bed when I arrived. The housekeepers were rude for no reason. Yes, the place is well maintained in the outside and they have a cool pool and a nicer property for the price but that doesn’t mean you can have toenail clipping in my “fresh” bed. Disgusting

Was really a lovely hotel. Clean with a beautiful pool are. Our favorite time spent there was at the hotel bar with Suzanne. We ate our dinner there every night. Not only was she entertaining but also helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. The food was fantastic. Breakfast buffet was a full buffet and was the best I’ve had in a hotel.

This is my home away from home. Let me start with the staff, everyone is amazing from the front desk to the waiters. Nicole and Jaylon are the best and never disappoint. The breakfast is always delicious. The rooms are clean and if there is something they need to tend to, they get right on it. I love the pool and the pool bar- very convenient and serve great frozen daiquiris. Looking forward to future stays.

Everyone was extremely nice and courteous. I called asking for extra towels and cutlery almost midnight and they assisted me promptly. I will always recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again in the future.

I arrived shortly after midnight after a long day of travel and was initially assigned a room where I immediately noticed numerous small bugs/insects moving around the countertop area near the coffee station and TV/refrigerator area. To the hotel’s credit, the front desk did move me to another room relatively quickly and provided two $10 vouchers for the inconvenience. However, after finally settling into the replacement room around 12:30 AM, the guest in the neighboring room was yelling loudly for hours, well past 2:00 AM. By that point I was completely exhausted and did not have the energy to request yet another room change. The next day I also learned that food orders, using the vouchers that I received for my inconvenience, required going downstairs to place them in person, which was difficult as I was not feeling well physically. The staff I interacted with were polite, but between the cleanliness concerns, late-night room change, noise disturbance, and lack of meaningful rest, the stay added stress to an already emotionally difficult trip. I typically expect better consistency and comfort from a Westin property.

There light was blown in the entry foyer, the bathroom lights for the general bathroom seemed to have a shortage, and the light flickered or sometimes just black out. THe toilet ram consistently and sometimes I had to lift the lid on the tank to see if the flap went back down.

I enjoy the fitness center which was also very organized and well equipped. I'm not a fan of having a room near the elevator.. never again, I asked for a switch up that never happened so I had to deal with it, plus a little issue with the sink, bathroom was a little bit small too.

The furniture was old and night table had marks and dents on it , the standing lamp was not standing straight and appeared broken, but I was afraid to touch it, for fear of it falling apart. The room was clean, apart from the above mentioned, the stay was decent. I also admired that there was a Bible in the night table drawer.

I have to say the pool area is gorgeous. Comfortable chairs places to eat really enjoyed it. The only thing is the rooms for me. I find they need an update.

Very convenient location directly off I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale. Such a beautiful hotel with an absolute wonderful breakfast buffet. Adjoining rooms were suggested by the registration staff and worked out perfectly. Overall a lovely hotel!

The rooms were nice size, affordable, loved the facility, soothing locations beautiful views, loved the pool area. Cleanliness come little too early on the weekends which should be a little limited since people tend to sleep in weekends. Over all enjoy my stay, I wish the bar stayed open pass 11pm. I would stay again.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. Came for my birthday and everyone treated me very nicely. Gave me a drink and breakfast voucher for two that a staff member wound up extending for the entire group of five. The pool area was very nice, but the front of the hotel outside could use some updating. Aside from that, the cleanliness was 10/10. I have no complaints about the hotel or staff and would absolutely come back.

It was my Fiancé and I’s first time staying at the Westin Fort Lauderdale on Corporate Dr and we have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. We loved everything about the hotel. From the breakfast, pool, gym, elevators, common areas, the rooms, cleanliness, friendly and attentive staff, we enjoyed everything.

The room was “ tired” and I n need of a Reno. The bathroom counter was cracked, toilet paper holder had been relocated. Old site just crudely painted, dirt on bedside table damage and hanging skew. Curtains needed a wash. Pool was great

They downgraded our room although the reservation was confirmed and paid in full. Upon arrival they simply stated they were sold out - although they were paid in advance. I asked for accommodations and were never given them. Shower walls had grout. Pillow cases had orange stains - so we had to take them off since no one would come. Few of the towels were old and worn. The room was not upgraded and had brown peppercorn sheeting. The Westin here in Michigan is more up to date and clean. Staff were super nice and the water they constantly refreshed was great. But almost $925 for 3 nights does not explain our room being downgraded , no view(black wall ), the room had an odor of feet and old pizza, I was promised a higher floor and was in floor 3. There were animals present so the halls smelled of dog urine. I literally spent most of my time at family members how in little Haiti (which is scary) and only came back once I purchased Clorox to clean the shower

The hotel has a lot to offer… champagne and cookies at arrival, a beautiful pool, delicious food and comfortable rooms. I can’t recommend this hotel more! We booked this last second from another terrible experience and am so thankful we found the Westin!

Room was big but awkwardly laid out, missing furniture pieces perhaps. Shower was either scalding hot or cold. Bed was nice. Unfortunately the ac made noise and kept me awake all night. Overall, terrible for the price.

Canceled my reservation without even communicating with me i got to the property and they informed me they had to transfer me to a different hotel, when i got to the next hotel they only booked me for 1 night out of my 2 night stay so i basically had to find another hotel the following day.

Rooms were as clean as they could get, you can tell the age of the hotel. But the amenities were fantastic. Pool area was amazing. Front staff were very accommodating. There was an odour when i first stepped into the hotel from the outside. Not sure if it was bleach or ammonia. Very distinct. Wonder if it was because pets are allowed. But overall everything g was excellent

There was a hole in the wall that had been poorly patched and the head board of the bed had many poor attempts at patching. It looked like a dog had chewed holes through it and it had been patched. The couch in the room looked like it was 20 plus years old and sun faded. Reminded me of a couch you’d see dumped on the side of the road. lol. Not what I had expected from previous stays in Westin hotels. Again the staff and everything else was great. I’d probably try another hotel next time for the price point.

There were small details that turned me off- make up stains on my comforter, a strand of hair in the towel, discolored/old couch, cracked tiles. The lock on my door was broken and repeatedly got stuck. My interaction during check in was off-putting, the staff member was rushing & seemed uninterested. They didn’t answer any of my questions or ask if I had any, but did give me a complimentary breakfast ticket for the next day, which was nice. Otherwise, the staff were kind. The gym is really small with limited machines/weights and very packed in the mornings. The pool was the best part of my stay. It was beautiful, not packed or busy, plenty of towels and the pool was heated. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. But the pool was lovely and I’d consider a day pass here for the pool alone.

Our room was clean. The couch was missing and we didn’t get the bedside essential oils. One side of our bed was broken and had a crater. I’ve never seen a bed like that. The grounds were messy with trash. The place need some care.

She went out of her way to help me find dinner that night as I arrived late. I realized most customers were going on cruises. Though a little further from port Everglades and FLL airport than I thought, it’s doable distance with less traffic.

My husband and I love to stay in high end hotels and couldn’t believe they think it’s okay to book a room in n those conditions, I guess that what happens when we book a last minute trip. I will never stay at the Westin again!!!!! Pretty disappointing!!

I stayed at this hotel from Jan 21 to 23d, before leaving for a cruise. The location itself is pretty, lots of trees, etc. It was off the highway and I didn't think there were any places you could walk to, but met someone staying there who walked to a BBQ place close by. We ordered pizza delivery from Blaze Pizza that was only 5 minutes away. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean. Staff were courteous and friendly and we were offered champagne and cookies upon arrival! There was a bar and restaurant. Only had breakfast which was very good, though of course a little expensive. Coffee was $5.00 a cup, which I did NOT get! There was a coffee maker in the room, with good coffee. Nice peaceful pool area, with comfy chairs and plenty of towels. The gym was VERY small but had the basics. I would stay here again, room price was reasonable compared to others, and considering it was a Westin. Hotels in Ft. Lauderdale are generally expensive.

It’s just the perfect place with lush bedding comfy mattresses and fluffy pillows. We were greeted with champagne and a courteous staff. Christie the bartender rocks at making drinks. The outdoor pool has plenty of lounge chairs and the pool side food service was run by Juan and he did a phenomenal job!!!! Kudos to the staff do offering a space for pets with water and snacks.

Hotel is old with dirty carpets, floors and curtains. I was checked into a room that an entire HVAC panel off. As I was walking around the room, the maintenance guy uses a key and walks in. He stated the room should have been out of the system to rent. I went back to the front desk and they moved me to another room. For the remainder of my stay, I never received face towels. Upon my return each night, I had to go the front desk to request some. My final night included enduring an hour of some guest on my floor (8th) arguing. I called the front desk and security walked up, but the arguing continued for another 30 minutes.

This hotel was great. The hotel staff was very friendly even down to house keeping. When i initially checked in i was greeted with champagne. Everything went smoothly. The room was clean along with a nice view of the front of hotel facing the parking lot.the sheets on the bed could have been upgraded seeing that it was a little old and tattered. Other than that hotel was in a great location. It wasn't to far from anything and a 35 min ride to Miami.

I enjoyed my stay

Room had a foul smell to it. The toilet was flushing slow. The shower head would leak water continuously, and the tv would not play because it would not connect to the internet. I asked Jerrika who was the lady at the front desk checking me out for the MOD and she said she busy. Wow. I felt that was just unprofessional. No attempt to check or anything. Regardless if the MOD is busy, they are never to busy to listen to customers concerns about their stay. I worked as a MOD at a resort years ago and I always took time to listen to my guests concerns. Every time I come to Ft Lauderdale this is my hotel choice and the last two times I had come, the room has had issues. The a/c doesn’t work, and other issues. Westin hotels are supposed to be clean and up to par but this one is falling short. I have learned my lesson and now I will look for other hotels in the area that are clean and comfortable. I’m in the city every two to three weeks and I look for clean and comfort.

It was the worst experience I have ever had!!! The beds were horrible - sheets were dirty and the mattress springs were completely broken that the mattress completely sunk in. There was no way anyone could sleep on them. After not getting any sleep the first night they switched our room and it wasn’t much better. Issue with getting in and out of the room (broken door lock), toilet was broken and leaking and the tub was leaking and had to listen to the dripping water throughout the night. On top of it all the staff was not considerate or helpful. THE WORST HOTEL!!

Starbucks in the lobby but extremely pricey. Pool was clean and big. Weight room was great except no rowing machine. Surrounding neighborhood was sketchy and not many choices for food if not car. I would stay here again for my next cruise.

The room was clean and did not feel outdated. The only issues we had were the lack of counterspace in the bathroom and getting the front door to close properly. For some reason the deadbolt kept coming out when trying to close the door to leave the room. Aside from that maintenance issue, the stay was wonderful and I would still consider returning to this hotel.

Incredible service from the staff. The hotel itself could use some freshening up in terms of fixing some things that are a little worn in. But I’d for sure stay here again for the great views and great service

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was wonderful.

Comfy beds however stains and smears on pillow case and covers. There were no bags in either trash cans. Enjoyed the option to connect to my Netflix account NO FIRE STICK NEEDED lol. Lovely staff and very friendly atmosphere! Complimentary water taste amazing very refreshing while waiting for our room.

Beds are uncomfortable and did not appreciate walking into a room that has a very large stain on the carpet surely that could be cleaned. Beds are uncomfortable.

This Westin location was my first experiencing having absolutely no counter space or shelving in the bathroom…only a floating sink…at a hotel! I didn’t expect a hotel with so many nice amenities to have rooms that don’t have counter space in the bathroom. I definitely won’t stay at this location again. I was very disappointed

The first room had a moldy smell. The 2nd room we were put into also had a weird smell, but not as bad. The ac did not properly cool the room at night. Hotel needs updates but was an okay stay.

The room was outdated and didn’t look like the photos. Upon entry, the floor was covered in dog hair and dirt, and small items that looked like vials that no one could identify. The room smelled a bit musty and old. The shower didn’t work, and pooled water at the bottom. The walls were paper thin and we had neighbors playing loud music all hours of the day. Staff were nice and pleasant, but the stay was average to lack-luster.

We always stay at the Westin when visiting from Chicago. Beautiful hotel with an amazing pool in the back. Heated with lots of iguanas roaming around. Kids love it. Very nice breakfast buffet. Nice bar. My only complaint this trip was a paint smell early in the mornings. Two mornings they were touching up some areas on my floor but the smell of paint was strong early in the morning. Other than that it was a perfect stay

Besides the housekeeping and the quiet at night, not hearing really anyone above or on the sides of your room. I would not say this is a four-star hotel for many reasons.

The check-in process was efficient, and we appreciated the prompt service. However, once we entered our room, I noticed some cleanliness issues that were concerning. There was black residue on the toilet seat, and upon further inspection, I discovered what appeared to be urine beneath the seat. I decided to clean that myself. The bedding seemed like it may not have been changed from the previous guest. We decided to sleep on the towels. To compound our discomfort, the air conditioning did not appear to be functioning properly. Thank God it was only for one night. I wrote to the property regarding my concerns. I have always held the Westin brand in high regard, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. Regrettably, based on this stay, we have decided not to return to this location in the future. I believe that maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential, especially in hospitality, and I hope this feedback can assist in enhancing the experience for future guests.

The rooms were dirty and smelly. Moved to 3 different rooms then eventually checked out.

Not one shelf or hook in the bathroom to put anything on! So after a shower, you had to dress back in the room rather than in the bathroom. The front door wouldn't close unless you played with the lock when you left. If you didn't, the door lock kept the door from closing. The floor at the entrance to the room was uneven and therefore, was difficult to cross over for a person with a weak leg (me) without losing one's balance.

Great check in process with the staff and room was clean. Only draw back was door didn’t have latch and was worried about it being opened.

I made two requests to front desk both of which I had to press to have. Room service dinner took two phone calls and more than an hour. A toiletry request a phone call and a visit downstairs when I realized they had forgotten.

Staff was very helpful. Freely was very helpful.. there was a maintenance issue and it was taken care of right away.. the room cleaners were awesome and helpful..

Although I had to leave and weren’t able to fully enjoy my stay at the Hotel, the place it self was very nice and we was welcomed with a couple glass of champagne which I found to be really cool.

The tolet seat is very low, needed a handicap rm for a higher toket seat. Not enough shelves in bathroom for toiletries. Water spigot small water syream.

The lobby, bar and other common areas look nice. The rooms are outdated, the towels and rags had stains on them. I understand you get what you pay for but I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for better accommodations. I love the atmosphere of the hotel, the staff was welcoming and helpful.

Concierge staff is EXCELLENT; honestly some of the best I’ve had are traveling. The only thing I don’t like about this hotel is that there are no cameras on the floor and elevators are not key activated — making it open to the public. I noticed that they do have security in the evenings, but not during the day.

Everything was excellent. I would only suggest that the common areas such as the elevators and main areas are better cleaned. Floors I. Elevators had trash, food stains etc. The actual hotel room was cleaned very well.

No complaints but the ice machine on our floor did not work all five days. There is no microwave in the room but there is one in the hotel. The staff is super accommodating and I appreciated that so much. We door dashed and there are some really good places in the area.

Asked if I could extend my stay, A rude man at the front desk disinterested and smacking on a granola bar told me no flat out. And didn’t help in the slightest with how to extend my stay and shunned me off. I wanted to book another night and he refused to help and didn’t offer solutions as to how I could do it myself. I was willing to pay any inconveniences even swapping rooms and coming back at a later check in but no help was offered. 1/10 customer service needs to be coached on how to speak to people that pay good money to stay at this establishment. Do something asap it’s bad for business.

The hotel and its staff were excellent. I wasn’t pleased with the look of my room, it felt dated and looked nothing like the advertised picture. The pool area and front desk however did look like the pictures. The bed wasn’t something to rave about, overall it was a solid stay but if given the chance I wouldn’t pick that location again.

The service at the front desk was horrible. Very slow. Room service didn’t work. No one would take your call for your food. The saving grace was the one women who worked every day I was there at the bar. She was kind, accommodating and sincere. She should manage that hotel. Room service was also poor. The one came in for 11min made the bed fresh towels and sheets and nothing else. The champagne at check-in was very nice. I feel like the Westin was trying but their service staff and clientele just are less then desirable.

I travel for business and this was exactly what I was looking for

Location was great. The hotel is pet friendly and we got stuck with guests next door that had two dogs. Whenever they left the dog by themselves, one would start barking and the other howling until the owners returned. Then there was a dance event held in all the ballrooms and the sound was heard in the 8th floor. We could not sleep at all. When we complained they told us that it would end at 4am. Finally they shut one of the ballrooms down around 3am after more complaining. Never again will we stay here. Not worth the aggravation.

I am very impressed with the professionalism of the hotel staffs. I want to recognize FIDEL , the front desk staff who handle our concern professinally. The cleaning staff, especially the woman who cleaned our room. Amazing pool and delicious food. I will book here when i return to fort lauderdale.

The staff was absolutely amazing Pericil, Matthew & Tracy was phenomenal help. Marcell Toussaint was great help in helping me to print. The hotel is clean. Now i got to admit not having a fridge or a microwave for a huge hotel is...crazy but i am spoiled...

It looks upscale. The rooms are very nice. I just didn't like the wall to wall artwork. It was too busy for me. It had to many designs in it and I didn't like the colors.

Cleaning person had to know and tell management.. so simple.. too late to swap rms after we realized shower issues. Management plans to refund our stay in coming days as we were told.
