The staff was great and inside the room was updated. The carpet was pretty gross (needed cleaning), and the bed had a large divit on one side (mattress needs replacing, and I mentioned that to the staff). The breakfast was a pretty good offering for a Motel. In short, it wasn't terrible, and I pretty much got what I paid for. The only thing they really need to focus on is property and room maintenance.

The location is approx 8 min drive from Franklin ,which is an absolutely beautiful town.theres a lovely park ,with loads of activities for kids around 5 min in the car ,and you can walk into Franklin from there.. Around the hotel there's waffle house,cracker barrel,Starbucks and homegoods. The breakfast in the hotel was very good,with good juices and option to make your own pancakes. It has a small gym and small outdoor pool. All you need for a short stay over.

We had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful. The pool was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was full and served in an open, pleasant room. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, juices, bagels, english muffins, toast. A truly full breakfast.

Nice cozy clean room with the beautiful glass, shiney shower doors. The showers that was absolutely steaming hot like I like it. My go to motel on a spontaneous trip.

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location was easy to get to. The large playground was really nice and we are looking forward to returning with our granddaughter soon to enjoy it and the pool.

I was very happy with my stay at the Best Western Franklin. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff was very helpful and managed to get me into my room before check in time when I expressed my desire to get some rest. The breakfast was well stocked. The room was cleaned daily. The location was excellent just a stop light away from the freeway, with a grocery store, a Starbucks, and gas stations all in the immediate area. I was very happy with my selection and would stay again if the situation warrented it.

Nice place. Right off the highway. It is a motel not hotel which is the only downfall. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

We were a little dismayed when the office attendant did not let us drop our bags off two hours early when there were a few people staying at the hotel. Many rooms were ready. He was gonna charge us $20 to move in early. Other than that, things are OK.

Bathroom door wouldn't latch and stay closed (in room 134), but otherwise, terrific! Breakfast, staff, other aspects of the room all top-notch.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property is when we checked in they said they would put a $100 hold on my credit card for incidentals but instead they actually charged my credit card the $100 and I had to wait three or four days for that to be removed

I like the location. And the amenities.. The plugs in the bathroom did not work, the beds were like sleeping on a rock. The cleaning crew just kept walking by my room to see if I was gone. I walked to my car and left the door open and they were looking inside my room. This was at 8 in the morning and check out wasn’t til 11.

Only complaint about breakfast is the pancake maker. The pancakes came out doughy and need to be cooked longer.

Breakfast was a win — plenty of options, so nobody was stuck eating something they didn’t want. The on-site playground was a huge bonus for us and kept the kids entertained without having to go anywhere else. The price was fair for everything you get, and the location couldn’t have worked out better — about 20 minutes from Nashville and only 8 minutes from the venue. Super convenient. We’d definitely stay here again.

Didn’t realize this is a hotel rather than a motel.This is an old building that they polished with a refresh. However, there was such a gap under the door that we had spiders and other bugs in our room. Didn’t eat the breakfast because it looked disgusting with watery powdered eggs, and watery gravy. Soda machine took my money, but didn’t give me any soda. Would not stay here again.

Well, the breakfast was lackluster, not that it was bad, just wasn't the best, wasn't a whole lot to pick from the fruit was minimal. And all they had was oranges, no waffles. It just wasn't a whole lot there. Other than that, the stay was great. The room was clean. Staff was nice. Polite, the pool was not open yet. Would I stay there again absolutely if I come back in the area, I will stay there again just eat breakfast somewhere else.

The first night the music was quiet enough that it only woke me up intermittently. Well, I didn't want to put up a fuss so I didn't complain. First night of crap sleep. Second night the music was playing again, and again I tried to sleep through it. However, at 1:15am they cranked the music up LOUD. After 1.5 hours of this, I finally called the front desk. They called the room & about 3:00am the music was turned off. Second night of crap sleep. Third night the music was playing again but just a little too loud to try to sleep through. About 8:30pm, I called the front desk. The front desk called the room, and about 8:40 the music got... louder. From 8:40 to about 11:30, the music got quieter & louder, but the overall pattern was louder. At 11:30, I called the front desk and complained again, then hung up and called the police. The police showed up & the music was shut off. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fall asleep until about 1:30am. Third night of crap sleep. This was, perhaps, one of the worst stays ever. And I paid $145/night for this.

We have stayed here several times when we visit Franklin. The staff is friendly and rooms clean. The breakfast served has been constantly satisfying.

STAY AWAY! Our family tried to stay here last night after a 14 hour drive from FL and had to leave after an hour. People hanging out on balconies, around hidden corners and in cars. Loud music and partying outside. Our last straw was someone banged on our door as we were going to bed and ran away. Absolutely terrifying to our children. Seems we were targeted for not being locals. I think people live at this Hotel (motel). Lastly, we reached out to Hotels.com to help with a refund and thet did their best but staff lied and said they offered us options after we turned in our room keys after an hour because of our safety. Please go to the next exit. Much safer and nicer for the same price. Too bad we could not get a refund after being there for less than and hour and having to spend money on a second hotel for the same night. Seriously, stay away.

Best deal for the money in Nashville area. Rooms equivalent to Hampton or Fairfield Inn with good breakfast.

I’ve stayed here twice. I found my room and bed to be exceptionally clean. The shower and the bathroom were excellent. The shower stall was clean and had great water pressure, along with a Kohler adjustable shower head The breakfast was excellent. The staff are wonderful. If I’m ever traveling that way again, I will absolutely stay here. To me it seems like the workers take a lot of pride in it being a very nice hotel.

The first room we were given smelled of whatever someone had been smoking. We asked for a different room and they took care of it immediately. Our second room was very clean and odor free. We were very happy with the room and breakfast.

Room was clean but body wash dispenser in shower was out of soap and TV had glitchy sound and you couldn’t change the picture to full screen.

We reserved the room for 3 adults and one child. When we got there, the room only had 2 towels, no washclothes. We asked the front desk and they brought us only 2 wash clothes. The next day, after our room was cleaned, they left us only 2 towels and 2 washclothes for 4 people. Again, we had to ask for more towels and washclothes. On checkout day, checkout was 11. The cleaning people knocked on our door at 9:30. We were not ready yet. They then parked their cleaning trolley right outside our door until we left. We felt very rushed.

First , the pictures you see in the website they are from the hotel was built I’m assuming, it looks nothing like it . We paid $200 for two night and happen to check the rate once we were in the hotel and it was down to $50 a night , that’s what it’s worth . We couldn’t sleep because you can hear absolutely everything, from the noise in the rooms to every loud car that drives by , I couldn’t count how many police sirens pass by . The reception looks outdated and old , the room carpet was filthy , there’re no microwave in the rooms , so if you need to warm something up , you have to walk all the way to the reception ( not attached to the hotel) Bathroom was ok clean but not enough to shower without sandals on Only part that did t gross me out was the beds , they looked pretty clean . We requested late check out which they agreed to it and housekeeping came anyway telling we had to go . She never heard about our late check out . Will not recommend at all

Stayed here because of good reviews, honestly they must be bogus. Room was clean but dated (not renovated like it said). Guys next to us were smoking cigarettes and marijuana and the smell came right into our room. Felt a little unsafe, breakfast terrible and served nothing on Dec. 25th. Would not stay there again and do not recommend.

it has been many years since we did a "M"otel & while it is convenient to be 10' from your car having your door opening onto a very busy highway, with non sound proof window & daylight emanating from under the door made it less than ideal, actually FAR FROM IDEAL. anyone staying should INSIST on staying in the back side of the property !! I ended up putting a bath towel at bottom of door, which helped with the light ...... After a 12+ hour drive we were in desperate need of a good nights sleep, sadly it did NOT happen - SPA007

Great value. This property is clean, friendly, and aside from small but tidy bathrooms, i felt as good there as much more expensive places ive stayed in the nashville area.

The room was clean and was exactly what we expected for the price. You can hear everything going on outside so any late check ins you can hear every wheel on there luggage turning haha. Breakfast was ok and had nice variety with hot food but the decor in there was super dusty so you felt like you were eating dust mites the whole time.

Good location and clean

We stayed in October 2025. Didn’t realize rooms are accessed outside. Rooms are really clean and updated. Bed slept well. Air conditioner kept room cool. Rooms are also large which I liked in that the air conditioner/heater was a nice distance away from the bed. Shower was big, and I liked the bath amenities. There is a back entrance to the hotel which makes it easier to pull out on main highway. Walkable distance to a Starbucks, Publix, and Einstein Bagels. There is a Taco food truck nearby which we made use of. Good but limited selection. As mentioned the rooms are accessible from outside and close to main road. Can be noisy. Suggest running fan during the night. You will hear sirens during the night. I did not take advantage of the full breakfast. They do offer a selection of breads, oatmeal, pancakes, and yogurt. Coffee and juices as well. We really enjoyed historic Franklin and plan to go again. When on a budget this hotel is a great choice. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice staff

Check-in was easy. My room was clean and didn’t smell like strong cleaners. It was far enough from the freeway that I didn’t hear traffic noise. The shower which looked new took a while for the hot water to arrive, but once it did it was awesome, with the option of a hand held sprayer. The breakfast bar had both hot and cold food with a good selection. Best of all, the outdoor pool was open after Labor Day.

This place is phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the front desk was friendly, and the location is super convenient.

Clean room was what we expected

It was fine. It was clean and close to the family members I was visiting and adequate enough. However, I wish there had been a lamp or light that could be switched on from the wall switch. As a woman traveling alone, I would prefer being able to light up a hotel room as soon as I enter it. As it was, I had to either fumble around in the dark, walk across a dark room to get to a lamp, or leave the door open so I could have enough light until I could walk to a lamp. There was a wall switch, but it only turned off the desk lamp. It did not switch it on.

When I switched the air-conditioning unit to heating, smoke came out of the vent and set off the fire alarm. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak, which was a huge disappointment. And the so-called hot breakfast was really not edible.

A little wary of the neighborhood, but only a little. Nice, clean room, and that's all I needed. Everything seems to be in working order.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Basic hotel for a basic price. Can’t really complain.

We ended with some bus in our room. Notified staff and they attended to it right away.

My only complaint was a musky odor in my room. Luckily, I had brought my air purifier and it was better after running it until we got back from dinner.

A safe and convenient hotel to my needs. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot and breakfast was delicious. Life is good.

Total property in really good upkeep. Bath remodeled, grounds and buildings well kept.

Average..noisy neighbors

We stayed there while we worked the Pilgrimage. This would have been our 3rd time staying there for this event. Our air didnt work at all the 2nd night and they offered another hotel but it was midnight and we were tired. No discount offered. They offered points but unfortunately that doesnt do any good unless you have 5,000 through Best Western. Probably will look for another hotel next year. Also, wasnt a fan of the breakfast this time.

Comfortable bed and friendly staff

My only complaint was the poor water pressure. Overall, the facility was very clean, the beds were amazing and the noise was minimum but not ‘sound proof’ as advertised. I would choose this hotel again.

My wife and i had a great time at the hotel, great staff, very friendly service. The breakfast that you get every morning was the best. Every 5min they made sure everything was filled up. The housekeeping stave was amazing, we alway had a clean rooom. Remarkable job to everyone!!!!!!!!!

I would of given 4 or 5 stars but i believe this is the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. I was in town for two business events and I've never been so exhausted after two days of trying to sleep on this concrete slab of a mattress. I'm coming back in November but i can't stay here and get any rest if I'm not comfortable. I tossed and turned both nights in pain! Everything else was great, very clean, quiet, nice large shower and soft pillows. If a hard mattress is what you like then this is the place!

Was just what we wanted and expected. The hotel itself is a little olde, but in good condition. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure.

Best Western Franklin Inn The pictures looked nice but it was an old motel, not an inn. We had to drive to our room. The lobby was a separate building. It smelled musty. They charged us twice for the same room and we will have to dispute it with our bank. They would not address the issue. We will never stay there again. We will never stay at another Best Western.

The motel was good for a short visit. It wasn’t a top 10 the continental was decent a Starbucks right behind it Publix right behind it. You could walk a lot of construction workers Stay there.

Terrible

It was dirty.. I found numerous black hairs on my sheets.. the hotel itself looked so run down on the outside. If we weren’t traveling on a bike and caught in a thunderstorm I never would have stayed here. The only decent thing in our room was the shower. It was clean and had good pressure.

This hotel was great! We got a very good deal through Expedia and because the price we paid was so low, I was expecting a mediocre hotel. I was thoroughly surprised by how nice this place was.

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been a really good stay!! Only complaint I have about this stay was my mattress was totally worn out and had backache when I left. I notified front desk when I checked out and they said they will replace it. Everything thing else was great!!

Overal is a decent place.

Breakfast Food was decent and stocked regularly. Room was terrible! Smelled musty. Listed as hotel, but should be listed as motel as rooms doors are outside and it’s so noisy with people getting in cars!! Bed is terrible and can feel springs with 4 small couch size pillows. So uncomfortable!! Need to have personal shampoo, conditioner, etc and not shared bottles. We didn’t even shower given the above reasons, we just wanted in and out as quickly as we could!! Will not choose best western again. I will pay more just for a good night’s sleep!

The room was really clean as a updated

We needed place to stay for 3 nights. Location good. Updated rooms. Clean. Our friend did say he found 2 roaches in his shower (eek). Our room had now signs of that. Beds were firm, so if you want soft, won’t get that. Overall ok stay, would stay again for short trip if I just need place to lay my head.

The property was very nice. The biggest problem was getting onto the property with all the traffic.

Just used as a place to sleep but was comfortable. The shower was nice, the mirror in the bathroom lit up, and there was a fridge and microwave.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff (front desk, breakfast/dining room, and housekeeping) are very friendly and behave in a professional manner wanting to be sure everything is up to your liking. Come hungry to breakfast! They have a full breakfast selection, my favorite was the make your own oatmeal bowl bar. Good water pressure and dual shower head! Rooms are VERY clean. All amenities are in working order as well.

The renovation of the rooms brought the property up to modern specs. The furnishings are modern and quality. The lighted vanity mirror was really nice. The TV worked well. The lighting was simple to use and you can tell it is not an inexpensive junk. The shower in the room was not a cheap cover-up - the workmanship and product quality are evident. AND the best, powerful water flow I've seen in a long time. Overall very stylish and nice. The area was okay too.

Only there overnight, so room size didn't really matter this trip. Breakfast was average. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay again!
