Room could use some updating but overall was pretty clean. We checked in around 10:30 PM and realized we didn’t have any towels or washcloths. Front desk lady was able to get us some. Otherwise, it was good for the money! We weren’t looking for upgraded and fancy so it was good for us!

This hotel needs help.

Practical location. Polite reception staff. Room was clean but smelt musky/smoky. To open/close the door we had to lift the door up. The hotel needs renovations. Very basic. Comfortable bed. Free parking.

The hotel was not the cleanest. The breakfast was a joke. Hardly anything to choose from. The bedding had holes all in it.

There was a wide selection of breakfast items so even a picky eater could find something to their liking. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the staff friendly.

The gentleman behind the counter went out of his way to help us. Great customer service!!!

Up upgraded room all pics were the renovated..I got the scariest room at the top floor at the end of a hall. Construction was on the floor smell was potent, dirty and loud and I had to walk through it to get to the room. Room vanity lights x4 out of them 1 didnt work, others were different Blood on parts of 2 walls Mold in the ceiling coming out of vent black Hairdryer fellnoff the wall hanging Door was broken Open closet that had an awful smell Tv was not working properly Bedding stained We complained on why im paying more for a run down room so they changed it but as we grabbed our stuff a roach was running across the bed Bip im discusseted So back to the front desk to be greated with a bad attitude manager

Under construction, paint products justcsetting around, stunk, plastic covering up and down the hallways, rooms dirty, drywall busted and exposed.

Just like being at home, we had an issue with our room. We were switched without question. No problem. Beds are comfortable. Great water pressure overall very quiet, peaceful . And the breakfast was exceptional hot breakfast egg sausage multiple different types of muffins and bagels, toast cereals milk, juice, coffee. You’re your staff is very very friendly. You need anything they’ll get it for you. Highly recommend. I wish I could remember the ladies name who was working the night that I checked in. She was amazing. Can’t really think of anything that I would say I didn’t like

The property was fine. It was clean and the staff were ok. I was charged a $50 hold and they kept the money even though I literally just slept there. The room was exactly the way I found it when I left.
- 1/5
Dirty, shower sprayed water everywhere when I told the staff she said “ doesn’t surprise me”… gross place would not stay there again
- 5/5
Good fresh breakfast and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Water in unit was always hot--excellent! TV did not work properly at first but when warmed up it worked better. Desk Staff was excellent!!! Couldn't be nicer!!!

Close to freeway. Nice staff. Smelled in breakfast area. Very old, run down. Shower curtain didn’t really work, causing water all over the floor after showers.

This hotel is located in a very convenient spot. That’s the best I can say about it.
- 1/5
They had bed bugs at property. Lifted sheets to check and two fell out of the cover. Strong paint smell as well throughout the entire building. For the room itself it was deviously presentable. But did have bed bugs

Friendly staff. It was being remodeled. Bolt lock on door wouldn't lock. Had trouble closing door. Had to slam. Unlevel.

Hotel was under renovation
- 2/5
There was no toilet seat, and the linen was stained. Pictures were upside down.
- 1/5
I was not notified that there was going to be renovations occurring and the noise was unbearable, and the workers were extremely rude and obnoxious.
- 2/5
The hotel is ran down. They are “renovating”. Bathroom walls and bathroom door was filthy. Shower was old and visible mold around tub drain. Bathroom light went out, requested to have a new bulb brought in. Smoke alarm was beeping, requested to have new battery replaced. Room was not cleaned when we returned. Needed more towels brought up. After check out and arriving at home, my daughter realized she left a sentimental stuffed animal on the bed. I called 3 times to check with housekeeping. They said it wasn’t there. I know it was, we didn’t touch luggage between hotel and home. It’s just a stuffed animal but it’s the principal of the matter that housekeeping denied it being in our room. I can’t handle the dishonesty.
- 5/5
convenient even under renovation. employees are nice
- 2/5
The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, which wasn’t clearly communicated in advance. Breakfast was very limited—there was no coffee or water available. Given the disruption and lack of basic amenities, it’s hard to understand how the hotel is charging full market rates.

Could use a paint job in the hallways and some repair in the showers. The elevator was a little sketchy. It made a haunted sound as it ascended and descended.
- 5/5
My family and I enjoyed are stay at the hotel staff was amazing night person front desk name jay went over and beyond to make us comfortable.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure. Hot tub rooms very affordable. Beds comfy. Always accommodating! We visit often for both business and pleasure.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure. Love the hot tub rooms!
- 5/5
Stay in their hot tub rooms at least 7 or more times a year. Not a 5 star but rooms are clean, staff polite and accommodating, and cant beat the price for private hot tub.
- 5/5
Great front desk staff, comfortable room, clean, good breakfast
- 3/5
The hot tub didnt work and it cost extra for that service for the hot tub not to work.
- 5/5
I thought it was pretty good.
- 5/5
I loved how close it was to the interstate & the close proximity to other things to do. There wasn’t anything i did not like
- 1/5
The AC in the room was broken, the sink in the room was completely clogged, and the breakfast ran out of many items.
- 1.5/5
Toilet seat was broke and kept sliding off. The shower head had water spraying all over the place so the pressure wasn’t good taking forever to rinse my hair. The blinds were also broke.
- 4/5
We didn’t eat breakfast at the motel. Left before it started. Room and property was clean. Staff was nice. Bed was lumpy and hard
- 4/5
It was nice and quite. Out of the way from the busy town The spa bath in our room. The jets didn’t work in the tub which sucked.
- 5/5
This hotel is easily accessible from I65. It's a safe neighborhood and right beside Cracker Barrell and other dining options nearby. I enjoyed the large jacuzzi style bathtub inside the main room but was disappointed to find that after the water filled the jets didn't work. The bed was a bit hard for my preference but everything was clean and the staff was nice.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Excellent staff. And free breakfast was a plus
- 4/5
Breakfast, Location, Staff and Hottub in the room It probably needs a little updating.
- 1.5/5
Location The mattress was old and extremely uncomfortable. There was no hairdryer in the room, and when one was requested was told that there were none available. The flooring of the second floor room that I was in is weak and faulty. It creaked and felt spongy in that area. There was a language barrier with the staff; it was difficult to make myself understood.
- 0.5/5
I used the hair shampoo and my hair fell out not kool at all I will be investigating this! The food is terrible
- 5/5
Thank Ron for always making our stay enjoyable. We are glad to see ya every time we visit. Love your outgoing personality. Your many years there show your dedication to making comfort inn 96 a great stay. Over a dozen visits this year so far for business.
- 5/5
We have been 13 times this year for business trips and have enjoyed every stay. The reason our stay is awesome is due to a staff member there. His name is Ron. He always makes sure we are taken care of. Wonderful personality!! His help and and the hot tub rooms is why we stay at the one in Franklin Tn. Comfort Inn 96.

- 2/5
Ant infestation. Safe didn't work. Crud in the corners of the bathroom on the floor. Daily cleaning missed twice. Loose toilet seat and it wouldn't stay up. Breakfast was nearly inedible.
- 4/5
Could have been. Better
- 1/5
I would never recommend this hotel. We were there 4 days. There were only 2 bath towels which were replaced every 3 days. No one emptied our trash. My husband took it out. The room was small and needed updating. The breakfast was terrible. Hardly anything to eat. I was lucky to get cheap yogurt. Great value brand. Ironing board was missing. The phone didn’t work. It didn’t have a dial tone. We won’t be staying here again.
- 4/5
No blackout curtains in the room.
- 4/5
I didn’t like that the stuck a receipt for my stay to the outside of the door rather than underneath the door. I would have preferred not having my name and address and my being a solitary traveler available for every group of construction workers in the hotel to see. Maybe I should lower my stars to two, the more I think about it.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. The room had ants. There was black on the wall next ro the shower.
- 1/5
This hotel is in desperate need of renovations. As soon as we entered our room, we were hit with an overwhelming odor, a moldy bathroom, and visible stains on both beds. We requested something to help with the smell and were handed a bottle of wood cleaner — not exactly ideal for freshening a room. We asked to switch rooms, and while the second room smelled slightly better, it also had stained bedding. Both rooms were dark, outdated, and felt unclean. We ultimately decided to check out early. Definitely would not recommend until significant improvements are made.
- 4/5
Large Hot Tub in room. Room was extremely clean. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was sub par but lots of places to eat around the hotel
- 1/5
Just fair. Dirty. Run Down. Diisappointing
- 4/5
It was good.
- 5/5
Toilet seat very loose.
- 2/5
Ants on night stand. Slightly run down.
- 3/5
Hot tub was nice. Could’ve been a little cleaner, breakfast was good. Still have a hold on my card 3 weeks later
- 0.5/5
It was dirty, run down, and WAY too far out of the way from Nashville. The website indicated that it was closer!
- 2/5
No tv remote in the room, had to ask for it. Couldn’t figure out how the curtains closed. Was not very clean. Ice machine broken, no sign to say that. AC unit was very loud. Housekeeping came by at 930a & continually knocked, even tho check out is at 11. Room smelt like cigarettes when I walked in.
- 2/5
We had a jacuzzi room but only had 2 towels. When I asked for more towels the man at the desk seemed very irritated that I would need more than 2. Finally the A.C. in the room leaked water onto the carpet. And not just a little. By the time I got up the next morning we had a moat around the bed. Standing water. That explains the off smell the room had. Overall we were very disappointed. We routinely stay with Choice hotels and this was by far our worst experience ever. Avoid this place as there are many more options nearby.

Check in was quick. Unfortunately i got the rim across from the elevator, and the door closes very loudly.

Excellente service
- 3/5
We stayed at the hotel as it was close to the FirstBank amphitheatre. The hotel needs upgrade with TV channel selection. There was no fruit for breakfast and they ran out of sausage. The staff was friendly and professional. Would be nice if the cigarette smoking area wasn't at the front door.
- 5/5
Nice staff and room. Quiet.
- 1/5
They charged me $42 in incidentals and said I used hair dye on the towels. I did not use hair dyes on the towels my husband‘s milkshakes built and we tried to clean it up because we saw ants in the room. So all of it should’ve washed out of their cheap five dollar towels. The duvet cover is trash. The whole room stinks of stale air. The staff is rude. This will be the last time I ever say a choice hotel. I will be using Airbnb and home away from now on.
- 4/5
Great location. Quiet and clean. Definitely an older hotel but it was a nice stay.
- 4/5
Everything was good, but please spend just a little more on the toilet paper!!
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and clean. Pretty quiet for the most part. Easy parking. Breakfast eggs and sausage. Hey, it was a hotel breakfest, what can I say. Sorry that the pool was gone. Miseed thay from my last stay here. Overall nice, comfortable and quiet.
- 2/5
The property looks nothing like the pictures. The person checking in was very rude and seemed bothered that he had to be there. There was a musty smell throughout the second floor. We also asked for extra towels because the shower sprayed water everywhere if you had it all the way on and they were very rude and didn’t want to give any extra. We also didn’t get any new towels for the second day we were there and were told they didn’t have any clean. I would not recommend this place, especially for family stays.
- 4/5
We stay here about 5 or more times a year. We love the hot tub rooms. Great price. Most staff are great. Issues are its very outdated. Need updated tvs, streaming capabilities, better plugs, etc.
- 3/5
The room was okay. Could use some major updating though. The breakfast was just okay. The cereal was stale so couldn't eat it.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, milk. Only complaint is parking is not good. I am handicapped and had to park around back in the unlit area.
- 1/5
The tv is broken. Just stayed here for the night. Would have been nice to watch tv and chill after driving all day
- 5/5
Good service, clean room
- 2/5
2 stars are appropriate for this place, the corner of the shower had mold in our room (215) and worn out furniture. It needs to be remodeled, but not a bad time if specifically used for sleeping. The bed was nice and clean
- 5/5
Did not see it yet and has been10 days. I would still go back. Cleanliness is important and i had no problem with that Staff was amazing
- 5/5
It was an amazing stay
- 3/5
It looked nice from the outside but the building was obviously old. We were on the second floor and the whole floor smelled weird/funky. Our sink drained real slow, the doors were dirty, especially the bathroom door. It looked like mold or mildew stains in the bathroom at the bottom and top of the wall by the tub. Even the walls in the hallway looked dirty. The mini fridge worked so that was great. It was wobbly though. The TV was old and the picture wasn't super great. The lobby was decent. breakfast was fine. They offered the regular diy waffles, yogurt, cereal, everything bagels, bread for toast, mini muffins, sausage links and scrambled eggs (a little too wet and mushy, for my taste and a few others that I overheard talking about the same thing.
- 2/5
Shower wall was cracked right through. Trim and Baseboards were rotting away
- 5/5
Excelent. I will stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was very personable. Clean Rooms. Wonderful location for the price. And the Breakfast was. Decent options. Would stay again!!
- 1/5
Wanted to charge $50 more than Expedia rate at check in. Staff was curt and arrogant. The room’s carpet is badly frayed, the common spaces are dirty and the shower never got warm. There are other hotels to choose, not this one.
- 3/5
This property is ok but could use some updates. The mattress for our king bed was awful.
- 3/5
Didn’t bother with the shower. Overall it served its purpose for an inexpensive overnight stay. They do offer breakfast and the pet fee of $30 is bery reasonable.
- 1/5
Old, not very clean, television was antiquated, the door to the rooms were steel painted gray, kind of like a jail, they put us in a room with the people above us kept us up most of the night, and next to the mechanical room - opening and closing doors most of the night. The worst comfort inn we have ever stayed at.
- 4/5
Price was what made us choose this place. We were coming home from Florida and just needed a place to sleep. We were traveling with a small dog so I requested a first floor room weeks before our arrival. Our room was on the THIRD floor. The tub had a large rust ring around the drain. Beds were comfortable and halls were quiet. Breakfast was below average. Would stay again if just for a place to sleep.
- 3/5
Good service
- 2/5
In room coffee was beyond awful. Tasted nothing like coffee.
- 5/5
The room was older but nice. The whirlpool was a nice asset. Took a bath in it but could not get the bubbles to work. Breakfast was plentiful and had great options.
- 3/5
Was an ok stay. Not much in yhe way of dining withun walking distance.
- 3/5
Place is average. Staff is nice. Clean but could use some updating. Bed was super uncomfortable. They don’t have a poop anymore. Which the photos show a gym under the “Pool” section so they didn’t say they had a poop directly but it’s a little deceiving.
- 1/5
The place was run down , they didnt have towels for us and never in 4 day did a full service the room , didnt throw out the garbage or make the bed ...needless to say i wont be staying there again..

- 5/5
Good place for the price.
- 5/5
Quiet and safe place to stay. The front desk staff were great!
- 3/5
The hotel can use a lot of upgrading, the rooms are pretty out dated and the washroom. The beds were comfortable but pillows were way to soft but they do give you about 4-5 maybe for this reason. Breakfast was OK.
- 5/5
Wasn’t too crazy about breakfast. Everything tasted stale and old. The dust ruffles on the beds were stained terribly and the facilities seemed outdated.
- 3/5
Decent for the price. Elevator needs some work.
- 3/5
My first room (101) smelled really bad of smoke, to the point it really bothered my allergies. I had to go to the desk and complain (which I don’t like to do) the gentleman at the desk switched me to another room 212, which was better. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. It was convenient to many shops, restaurants and especially the Hospital (which I had my daughter in). In my opinion the hotel itself needs to be updated. Overall my stay wasn’t bad.
- 1/5
When we checked in, I asked pool hours and they informed me the pool has been closed all year for maintenance. Not the end of the world but frustrating since I specifically booked for the indoor pool. Everything else seemed okay enough for a single night until we turned the lights out for bed and the biggest cockroach I have ever seen crawled down the wall immediately. We packed up and left after that.
- 3/5
Property and rooms needs updated
- 3/5
Neat
- 3/5
The room was very nice, but it had the odor of formally being a smoking room. Other then that, it was good
- 4/5
The lobby looked great but the room was old. The AC could not keep up. The breakfast did not have as many offerings as other Choice Hotels. Overall 2.4/ 5.
- 3/5
Liked closeness to where we spent the day. Did not like the room we were first given the AC didn't work. Told hotel was filled and they had no other rooms, but all of a sudden one was available. Took forever for AC to cool down the room. Pool not available, nor hot tub. Tub in room had a dime size crack in it. Frig didn't work that well. Nice to have coffee in room and free breakfast though.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Excellent staff.
- 1/5
Check in was slow took 20 minutes. The pool is closed but nothing is said about that anywhere. Breakfast looked small and smelled funny, didn't eat. Room was sloppy, stains on beds, bathroom needs fixed etc.
- 1/5
Hotel is very old and stinks. Old carpet, we had roaches in the first room and had to be moved. The same room had mold in the bathroom and old beer cans on top of the armoire. Which means the cleaners hadn’t done a good clean.
- 3/5
We booked last minute. We got a basic room the room was clean but the bed skirt looked as if it had some stains and not pleasant look at the end of the bed . The front desks gentleman where very nonchalant no personality. We booked bc we thought it had a pool but it was either under construction . Breakfast was very bare minimum as well we was out at 7:30 . Literally only had biscuits & gravy waffles 4 apples and a few others like muffins and bagels nothing to brag about .
- 2/5
Bed spreads urine and linens were stained. Staff did replaced it with blankets that had holes in it. The breakfast was gross. The staff wasn’t dressed well and one barely spoke English. Will never go back.
- 1/5
It’s smelled bad and I complained. You think they would have offered me a different room but they didn’t. It was also not very clean. Wound not recommend this hotel. I will never ever stay at a comfort inn! Very dissatisfied
- 3/5
First let me say that the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, linens were nice. However, the pool was not available (was not mentioned on the webpage). Breakfast was out of most stuff by the time I would go down around 7:15am. So the last two mornings I went down before 7am. The bathrooms need updated. Everytime I stepped in the tub I felt it would fall through. I am not that heavy. Water pressure was not good for a shower. The pull didn't work correctly. Looks like they spent the money on nice new floors but didn't update the bathrooms. Definitely not worth the money they are charging nightly.
- 5/5
The only complaint that I had was I came down at 8:30 and all the food was gone they had a hot breakfast but some Ziggy pigs came down there and ate everything they could ate up all the eggs ate up all the sausage drink of all the milk took all the juice boxes so there was no orange juice no nothing the waffles were almost completely out no fruit because they all came down and ate everything they could.
- 1/5
Anna you all wouldn't refund my money so I didn't get to stay
- 3/5
Carpet sticky feeling. Room smells like dirty feet. Brought Farnese and this helped some.
- 1/5
Terrible! Pool was closed, breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30. No food on it after 8:40. Front desk clerk when we checked in was a complete jerk. Water spigot in our room was about to fall off and the whole hotel had a bad smell. Disgusting, will never go back.
- 1/5
Do not recommend this hotel. The facility is outdated, pool was closed. Air conditioner in our room didn’t work. When we got moved to another room, it smelled like cigarette smoke & the toilet seat was stained and disgusting. Ron at the desk was rude. Spend $60 more and stay somewhere nicer.
- 5/5
Great customer service, very quiet and clean.
- 3/5
There was a strong, unpleasant odor within the room. When brought to the attention of the desk clerk, he stated that he did not know what the smell was. Our expectations for the accommodation were realistic, considering the rate; however, the odor significantly detracted from our stay.
- 4/5
Don’t get me wrong, we were very happy with our stay, it was cheap as far as hotels in the area go so expectations were not high. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast was average comfort inn style breakfast. The area is nice and our room was very quiet. The negative, the furniture is extremely outdated and the hotel is in need of maintenance. Easy maintenance like replacing a switch plate, tightening a toilet, taking a screw driver to what’s loose. I had a lost bag issue with the airline and was having it delivered to this hotel before I arrived. At midnight I tried calling the front desk for over an hour and there was no answer.
- 4/5
Pretty dated and rundown
- 1/5
The Comfort Inn at Franklin TN, lost our reservation and we had to rebook at the front desk at full room rate. The guy at the reception said the credit card got declined so they had to reject the prior confirmation (?), and then took the same exact card for new reservation. The room was not that clean and tidy either. We were able to contact Hotels.com and get the first payment reimbursed thankfully.
- 3/5
It was not bad but had an old smell as soon as you walk in the hotel and room. Could use update on room bathroom.
- 4/5
Stayed one night on trip to Florida. Older hotel but clean. Nice area. Easily accessible off the interstate.
- 4/5
I liked it was quiet and clean.
- 2/5
Picture shows a pool but wasnt informed of it being closed until after check in. Also staff was never at the front desk when you needed them. We also asked for extra towels since we paid for a party of 4 and only had two towels. When asked for two more they told us they didnt have any extra.
- 2/5
Pictures don’t match the rooms. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, our room had the oddest syrup smell. The whole room stayed damp feeling. The bed sheets, floor, chairs and all felt damp with moisture. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor no matter how the shower was on, there was mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. We all woke up with full blown allergy discomfort from the mold. The room door had to be slammed to shut and shoved to open. The pool was taped off and closed. We spoke to the front desk clerk about the loudness from the room above us until 2 am and he laughed at us. Definitely will not be back to stay here.
- 2/5
Broken bathroom fan and air conditioner was loud
- 3/5
The area was beautiful
- 4/5
lobby bathroom facilities were filthy. cleaner used in bathtubs made the surface slippery and dangerousl
- 2/5
Cons: Pool is still not open as of 5/20/24. When washing our clothes when we returned home, every single one of my husbands white athletic socks were really muddy on the bottoms. Come to figure out the filth was from walking on the carpet in our hotel room. Yikes! The smell of mildew was overwhelming and unmistakable each time we walked into our hotel room. Pros: The female staffers were helpful and friendly. Water pressure was very good. Old jetted tub with no instructions actually worked! Verdict: Glad we survived but we will not be returning
- 4/5
Great one night stop over.
- 3/5
This is our 2nd year staying at this hotel. It’s one of the closest ones to the truck show we attend annually. I wouldn’t say it’s the nicest place but the convenience is why we come back, plus the water pressure is always good LOL. The one guy at the front desk is super rude every single time, can’t stand him and surprised his still employed there but luckily he’s on the night shifts. Everyone else is super friendly and for the price you can’t beat it, especially so close to Nashville.

Stayed two nights and never had a complaint. From the front desk check in to the check out, everything was awesome.

Quick check in, accommodated me same day no hassle

When I went to the front desk to ask for a clean mattress pad protector— the man stated they didn’t have any for the sofa beds. I had to take it outside and shake it out and clean before we could even lay our child down for bed! I should’ve turned around then and asked for a reimbursement, and went elsewhere! The pool has been “under maintenance” for over 6 months! Was the only reason we booked our reservation here for our 9 yo daughters very FIRST CHEER Competition! I will most DEFINITELY spend the extra money somewhere updated, cleaner, and just better all the way around! I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Unless you’re looking for a trap house and just for a few hours!

booked the room for the pool, was not informed that the pool was not open until we got here. Breakfast doesn’t start until 9:30am which is very inconvenient

I’d rather sleep in my car than stay in this hub for trafficking. I’m highly disappointed in hotels.com for allowing this hotel to be available on their website.

Rooms are very very small, our dated as well, fridge was broken, tables and sink had some damage to them, light switch was very crooked, you can’t open windows in room either.
