Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. While some guests appreciated the quiet and comfortable rooms, others found the property run down, unclean, and overpriced.

It was inexpensive & conveniently located. Although the bed was comfortable, it was impossible to control the climate in the room. Air gaps around the door. The A/C added more moisture to the room so all surfaces were always sticky. Generally room & bathroom lighting were bad. Exhaust fan in the bathroom DID NOT WORK! Charged an additional night & it took are 7 day stay to get it resolved. Next time we will pay more for better accommodations.

Not too bad.

My biggest problem with the room we got was the carpet was absolutely disgusting. It always felt a little bit damp and sticky. I refused to take my socks off because we were there for 10 days. I actually fought off a strong urge to go rent a carpet shampooer. My suspicion is that the ground floor of the whole hotel has a moisture problem even our towels did not dry for about two days after we used them. Beyond that the room was comfortable enough.

This is a MOTEL not HOTEL. All entry were Exterior doors. I was not aware when I booked. I would have never stayed there had I known. I do not believe the images showed this. I would have to go back to review. It was very old/ dated. It was in a wooded area although close to Galleria. Very Bates Motel vibe. The clerk was very comforting and put me in a area near check in with cameras. Staff was very nice. It was too late to change when I arrived after 5 flight delays. No restaurants open. Vending machines only. Would never stay there again. Did not feel safe.

Found a dead roach in the room. Sink took all night to drain and bathroom door was broken.
- 1/5
The showers were cold morning, afternoon, and night.
- 3/5
Location was par. Check in process took forever even though I paid through booking. Never ever had it take that long.

Cockroach’s in bathroom…dead one on floor and one stuck in a cob web that looked like it had been there a long while. Bathroom door broken and rotting and would drag across the floor if you didn’t hold it up…. Window was busted and didn’t even lock properly…. And so on and so on…. When I told the front desk… the lady said “ ok well…you are all paid on Expedia and checked out” no thought or care to all I just told her!!!

Only problem was nothing was in the room like silverware coffe pot etc you have to ask for what you need Also we have a dog and they charged $25 a night and it wasn’t that high when I booked on hotel.com

The room had a really funky smell. The plug in the bath did not work, and therefore the bath water did not stay. Apart from that, it was a nice room.

Property was dated. Overall our experience was good. It was clean
- 1/5
The door entering into the room appeared to have been kicked in previously. The hinge was loose and it did not close securely. We cancelled the reservation and found a different hotel.
- 4/5
I had too much to drink at Twin Peaks and needed to crash. It served the purpose and because the rooms are entered from the outside, my companion was able to find me discreetly. Would definitely do it all over again.

The facility appears to need some general maintenance. The room was "lived in"
- 3.5/5
Close to shopping, spacious, plenty of parking. Toilet is extremely low, iron didn’t work, inside of kitchen cabinets were very dirty outside trash was overflowing.
- 2/5
Shower divertor was barely hanging on. Water not hot enough. Condition of the room was lacking upkeep
- 2.5/5
Close to food and shopping. Comfortable bed. Waited at least 30 minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check in at 4pm
- 2.5/5
Location We had 3 people. Had to go to the front desk to get bedding for the pullout couch. Then pullout was so thin that the springs were hurting our son. So 3 of us adults slept in king size bed.
- 1.5/5
It was cheap -Roaches -Barely any hot water -Terrible water pressure -The door didn't seal all the way and let bugs in from outside. -No blinds on the windows, just curtains. -The bed felt like sleeping on a stone slab. -The "breakfast" is just an oatmeal bar. Not premade, just packs of oatmeal with some muffins and a Keurig. -Room had terrible lighting.

The attendant at the front desk was great very efficient and helpful. The room was like new and very clean, very much appreciated.
- 2/5
Sketchy vibes, not the cleanest. Constantly smelled weed coming through vents. Complained about it and was told to turn off the bathroom vent so it wouldn't pull in from wherever it was coming from. Staff was less than helpful and quite rude. Total highway robbery for laundry, and they wouldn't give us another pillow because someone stole them.
- 1/5
Terrible staff. I wont be back. Staff was nasty and prejudiced to another man couple and even yelled at them. I called him out on his extreme rudeness and he was then super sweet to me. And apologized to me for THEM. Just was ridiculous

- 4/5
Nice location, clean room, quiet.
- 3/5
The price. The room was dated and old. Even the ironing board was rusting. And the walls were thin. I could hear my neighbors plainly
- 1/5
Some guy was working on his broken down car in parking lot. My manager knew nothing about history of the area or where visitor center was. She was not helpful and the room smelled like cigarettes smoke. No coffee was available.
- 3.5/5
The beds they were a little stiff for me
- 3/5
The room had a funky smell and bathroom did not feel totally clean. Additionally, when a breakfast is advertised as an amenity, I am expecting much more than oatmeal packets, pre-packaged muffins, and Nutrigrain bars. Incredibly disappointed with this.
- 5/5
This is my go to spot once aweek. I live in Huntsville AL, so them late night's I don't feel like driving home. I always come here.
- 4/5
Dennis was very helpful and friendly. I didn't realize we needed to ask for our utensils at check in I could have used the pots and pans to cook. Instead we had a cold dinner on paper plates. I found the care later that said to ask at the front desk for the utensils.

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and hotel is conveniently located.

That the area was quite The lady at the front was rude, she had no empathy, no patience, she even asked me if my partner was showing violence towards me, I still can't tell you why she asked me that. I tried to reserve another day, she told me I needed to move out of my room to a smaller room okay well because of that she charged my card 69.00, then tried to charge another 73.00 dollars for an ungraded after all that I missed my Lyft and gong to dialysis, she did not care my day was horrible all because she did the have the heart to help me. I checked out September 17 2025 at 10:30am I just told her to cancel my room so I don't know if I will get a refund.
- 4/5
Sound carried through walls. Could hear people next door. Very thin blanket on bed. Tub had cracks in it. Looked dirty, but it was just the cracks in tub. Very nice staff. Room was very clean.

If I could show you the pictures, I definitely would as proof. 75 year old widow, staying only one night to close on and move into a house close by the next day. Only place I could find to accept a cat. My service dog was ok. The ground floor unit I walked into had the smell of a male cat spraying. Request another room. They said they did not smell anything inordinately. So sent me instaurou to a different room. That one had terrible mold around the tip and soap holder. I took pictures. The sink had orange stains on it but the worse was the bath floor. I washed it and the cloth was BLACK with sticky filth. Both sides! You could see the outline of my hand print! Had to wear my shoes when I got up during the night, it was so filthy. Next morning checking out I was going to show them the pictures, while waiting my turn, asked about the coffee being offered. Said they ran out, will make more. Decided not, turned my key in and thought I’d let anyone I know moving to or traveling through Bentwood Tn. To be aware!

Quiet, Convenient, Comfortable bed, Clean. Nice staff member that checked me in. Small breakfast to go bar but enough for me.
- 1/5
We did not stay and neither parties would refund either night. Will never use either hotels.com or extended stay ever again.
- 3/5
Unit was old needs updated.
- 5/5
This hotel met our needs for one night just passing thru! Only wish it would of been queen beds and not double beds!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff.
- 4/5
This was a quick overnight. The room was clean and served its purpose.
- 5/5
Great place and definitely a good price. I will be back.
- 5/5
Not totally a bad experience, however attention to details would've went a long way when preparing a room for guests. Got in my first room and bathroom light wasn't working at all. My question is how do you miss that?! Then as I look for the remote to turn on the TV I realize it's nowhere in the room. I go to call the front desk and the phone doesn't work either. I use my cell to call the front desk to ask for a remote and no answer. So I call the 1-800 number and finally get someone to contact the property. After walking to the front desk to get a key for my 2nd room, I realize that the 2nd room also is lacking a TV remote! Other than all that it was a good experience.
- 4/5
The room was old. Beds were clean, bathroom could use a good overall cleaning. Sofa bed was horrible, mattress should be thrown away.
- 2/5
this was just a quick little weekend getaway to Franklin the extended stay. the reason I did it was because of it having a little kitchenette area. well upon getting into the room I figured out real quick that it was not all with the pictures hyped it up to be and so pretty much did not use anything in the room to cook or anything like that. also, another thing that really was not good or I should say it was terrible was that we seen a few roaches if I'm spending money at your establishment, you should not have critters nor should your establishment be outdated. it definitely needs a facelift. there were patches and some parts of the wall that you can see were patched and painted over. there was a piece in the corner where they had a little hanging system for your clothes there where the carpet had actually been coming off of the wall overall to me personally it was not a good experience and I will not stay here again. if someone is paying their money to stay at your establishment then your Establishment should be clean all the time. it should not have any bugs and if the establishment needs a facelift or a remodel then that's what should happen to bring it up to date. also. I also believe this that hotels.com or any other website that you can book through as a third party should not list these properties on their web page. because when you do go to these places, the pictures that they describe and show are probably from when they first open. hotels.com needs to do a better j
- 3/5
No hot breakfast
- 5/5
The room was nice, no frills. Exactly what I needed for one night!
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Nice place
- 1/5
The room door had a huge gap at the bottom so I heard any noise outside all night. The room and sheets didn’t feel clean and there was a bad smell coming from the kitchen. I would’ve asked to switch rooms for the night but I checked in at midnight due to travel. I did not stay here the full duration and left the second night because I did not feel comfortable.
- 1/5
Never came and cleaned the room always changes price on me even thought I stayed there for months at a time
- 5/5
My stay was great and the manager was greater!!

Very comfortable
- 5/5
very quick check in and room looks great
- 1/5
Not cleaned at all!
- 1/5
The only good experience I had was being efficiently check in by a very nice desk clerk.
- 2/5
The room was clean with the exception of the rug. The property is time-worn and could use a refresh.
- 3/5
Nothing special about it kind of ghetto.
- 5/5
Conveniently located and attentive staff.
- 4/5
simply convenient
- 5/5
The staff are amazing and the room is super comfortable!
- 5/5
Excellent customer service
- 4/5
I was happy with the room, although a guy outside was talking on his phone near my room late at night. Comfortable room, very clean. Although only rated as a 2 star, I was glad I stayed here.
- 5/5
it was good
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Nice place for affordable price I recommend.
- 5/5
It is in a good location not far from restaurants and stores. The heat worked so well in my room!
- 1/5
Housekeepers didn’t open the refrigerator apparently and totally scapegoated us.
- 1/5
Too many stink bugs in our room, one even crawled in the bed. The room didn’t smell good.
- 2/5
This should not be over 50$ a night for the quality. If I was suppose to stay more than 1 night, I would have went somewhere else. Way too much light, on blankets (one sheet and one THIN blanket only) on an uncomfortable mattress. I was here for 1 nights sleep only. I got about 2 hours sleep and my back is miserable.
- 5/5
Stayed here to go to a show at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, which was about 20 min. drive away. This place was a good value for the price. We were traveling with the dog, and it was $29 extra to have her which wasn’t too bad. There was a nice little area to walk her. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s nice to have a little kitchenette in there (we used the microwave, sink, and fridge, but not the stove). Would stay again.
- 4/5
Property not bad for the money. Location in Franklin is only 20 min to Nashville. Plenty of local shopping and restaurants near by.
- 4/5
Very affordable suite with kitchen. Definitely geared toward people staying longer. We were there just one night. You had to call the desk to get the whole kitchen set up with coffee maker, plates, pans, etc. I only wanted a cup to take a pill , there was nothing. Also no blow dryer. Room was clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Solid overall. Perfect for a quick stay.
- 5/5
This location is close to everything you would need and the staff are great and very helpful!
- 5/5
The staff are very nice and helpful. Also, the area is perfect. It's close to a mall and pretty much anything else you would need. I think it would be hard to beat the price and value you get.
- 4/5
Accommodation is good but around the property some foul smell emanating
- 4/5
I have had roaches in my room.
- 1/5
Dirty and noticed bugs when I went to check in and then when I went to check in with a valid license that I got the day before the staff working was refusing to allow me to check in and tried stating that I couldn’t check in since they don’t accept a temporary copy of my license even though it’s valid! And he was very rude about it and was being extremely hateful!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay 10/10!!!
- 4/5
Staff waa really nice and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
That bathroom needs lots of work. Curtain rod was not properly on. Whole bathroom kept getting wet. Curtain couldnt close at all. Water pressure was like barely there. Was hoping to use this extended stay but will be going to another one.
- 3/5
Property was dated and worn out. Staff was great and so was the location.
- 5/5
Our stay was restful and fun. The Grab and Go Breakfast was fine! Coffee was amazing and everything fresh.
- 1/5
Broken washroom, narrow room doors, AC wasn't working in peak summer and most of the time, no guest services person at front desk . You need to call for hours
- 2/5
It was okay, didn’t have much toilet paper and had no soap in room so I had to ask for some. The toilet paper I didn’t notice there was no backup until I was in my PJ’s.
- 1/5
The place was dirty and smelled. I killed several roaches and bugs. I went to pull out the sofa bed for my kids and it was disgusting. The shower faucet drips constantly and at night you can hear it dripping. There were no pans to cook on despite having a miniature kitchen. My son requested a plunger and was told, he could come get it. This is my last night here and thankfully, I will not be coming back.
- 5/5
Well mannered, Always smiling, and felt very welcoming and safe
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 2/5
They had me pay again, when I had payed through the Hotels.com site. The property was run down. The bathroom had mold. The floor was unclean. The one plus was it was quiet. I had an early morning and I was able to sleep the night before.
- 2/5
Jordan at the front desk was amazing, but that’s where the positives stopped. We were in building 3, which the outside of was disgusting. Cigarette butts & dog poop was everywhere. Stairwells & sidewalks were so dirty. One night, after dinner, I was walking along the side of the building on the parking lot. It was dark & I stepped in something, to which I slipped in. It was dog poop, now all over my shoe & foot. I was so disgusted. We have a dog & clean up after him. Other people are just nasty. It was literally everywhere around that building. I was so embarrassed because I had both my parents & my in-laws along with us, & this is the experience they had. The rooms were ok. The king size bed was comfy, but those that were on the sofa beds said they were awful! To top it off, the original hotel then refused to pay.
- 2/5
It was just ok and very overpriced.
- 5/5
Nice place as you would expect
- 3/5
The room seemed tired. One badly stained sheet. Pullout sleeper was tiny and the advertised room for 4 was really only good for 3.
- 4/5
It's an older property so it's a little run down, but it served it's purpose.
- 2/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Our lock didn’t work but we didn’t complain. It was only one night and was card reader entry. The location itself is great but the surroundings are very dirty. Room was spacious. Average cleanliness but no shampoo in the shampoo bottle left in shower.
- 2/5
We were in town for a funeral. The staff was nice. You have to checkout dishes and pans. We found that out after we got to our room. Our door worked when it wanted to. Most of the plugs did not work.
- 4/5
It was right of the freeway. Kinda of hard to get to because it is hidden.
- 3/5
outside trash everywhere-bottle caps all over-room phone was not working-i had to go to the front desk to pick up my kitchen utensils (they didnt have pots and pans for cooking), i was not offered any discount off my price for the extra work of myself doing what i was paying for. i chose this place specifically because of the in room kitchen.
- 1/5
Very old and run down rooms, toilet won’t flush properly, the fridge provided is rusty
- 2/5
Checked in at 1:00am. Was told coffee maker in room. No coffee make, no trash can in room at all. Mattress was terrible (lumpy) on right side.
- 3/5
I liked the staff. They were great. The only problem I had was the kitchen and bathroom floors were sticky and dirty. I recleaned the floors and the white towels i used had black goop all over them. Not sure why they didnt clean them because they jad obviously cleaned the room.
- 5/5
Highly recommended by me, thats for suuuuuure! Extremely friendly staff, super clean rooms, everything you could possibly ask for in comfortable hotel stay. Thankyou so much, Extended Stay America….. I will definitely be back again.
- 2/5
Room was not very clean, carpet was filthy & stained. Bathroom floor was dirty. There are no amenities... no blow dryer. No shampoo or conditioner. Had to make a target run. There was soap. No elevator so carrying heavy lugguge up 2 flights of stairs was unbearable.
- 4/5
We are return customers. This stay was comfortable; however, the floor was quite dirty. I spilled some water and when I wiped it up, the rag was black. Everything else was comfortable and quiet.
- 2/5
The room wasn’t in the best confusion. The bathroom was not the cleanest. The bed was very hard. The door was super thin and felt unsafe at times. Area around the hotel was nice.
- 1/5
my booking was cancelled and there was no option to say that ,so I had to say terrible there should have been a way to tell you guys, I was not able to go to the hotel so how can I rate my experience but it was terrible what expedia did to me 2 days before my departure i confirmed with expedia, but when I got to the hotel in the evening i was told by the hotel that expedia overbooked so i dont have a reservation then I had to call expedia they found holiday inn after about an hour i was waiting in my car with 2 small grandchildren in the night that was just horrible i will never use expedia for my booking ever
- 1/5
Room not ready. Waited 1.5 hours to find old, dilapidated condition of smoked in “non-smoking” room. Old outlets and electrical cords. People hanging out in parking lot drinking alcohol. A portable grill set up in parking lot with an actual coyote checking for food. Desk clerk very unprofessional at check in. Place was so bad that we didn’t even stay after seeing room and driving through parking lot. Went back and requested refund. Refund was the best part! Do NOT recommend this place!
- 1/5
Our flight was delayed, and they were extremely unhelpful and inflexible.
- 1/5
Phone didn’t work, toilet was clogged, shower didn’t work, no hair dryer, mattress was horrible. I will never stay at one of these properties again
- 3/5
After settling down in bed a leak started in the bathroom ceiling, water covering the floor. Had to get up and pack our things and move to another room.
- 4/5
Was what I expected. Room was secure, the whole area is surrounded by things to do. Cheap price, was there for sleeping only.
- 1/5
Check in says 3pm. Arrived at 6pm told room not ready yet. Waited another 2 1/2 hours to check in!
- 3/5
I was delighted for the last minute availability. However, the room smelled like someone has smoked in it before. I have a baby and I hate cigarette smoke so this was a total negative. Also, the advertised “breakfast” was misleading. I would rather walk to the nearest grocery store and pay for food than to have relied on them for their idea of breakfast (granola bars, coffee, bananas).
- 4/5
Thank you Daryl for your friendliness and quick check in. Room was clean and everything worked as it should. Safe area with plenty of restaurants close by. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The check in was easy and the room was clean no complaints at all.
- 5/5
The room was great! Definitely worth the $118 for the night we stayed there. The guy at the desk was super friendly. It was quiet and I felt safe in this area. They allowed us to check out a little later which was extremely helpful. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend staying here.
- 2/5
The place is scary someone tried to get in our room in the middle of the night, neighbors were super loud doing drugs all night. The room was okay for the price
- 1/5
We were overcharged for our room, and there was trash in a drawer, on the windowsill and behind the bed ( which was pulled away from the wall) carpets were stained. Waiting for a call back on the overcharge

- 3/5
Our room wasn’t very clean - we found a sock from the previous guest under the bed. They also charged us an expensive nightly pet fee that wasn’t advertised when we booked the room. Also, no breakfast. And quite expensive for the location and quality.
- 3/5
The sofa back was filthy and in need of recover/replacement. The baths and floor were very clean. Very quiet too.
- 4/5
One thing wrong ... the toilet seat was loose, only one bolt holding it on
- 5/5
This is a decent place to stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
- 4/5
It was fine. Only thing I didn’t like was being on the backside upstairs. Front desk was excellent!
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful although I was unsure where the actual check in area was due to construction and the restaurant areas in the front. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and superior service. The front desk staff was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Just friendly and offered information without rushing through the process.
- 3/5
Most reasonable price in the area. Plenty of options to dine. Good thing since this is considered an extended stay, you'll need to bring everything you would need to do so. And the free breakfast is prepackaged muffins. Bare bones place.
- 4/5
Check in was easy, front desk was nice. Breakfast was lacking in options. Coffee was good but the packaged muffins weren't the healthiest options. Recommend some fruit or something not prepackaged.
- 1/5
I was charged twice for my stay. The staff wasn’t able to find my reservations from Expedia that I had already paid for. They said they couldn’t find my reservations so I had to pay for the rooms again. I’m still trying to get reimbursed for the money I spent. I even showed them the receipt for the reservations but they couldn’t figure it out.
- 4/5
Area was great. I wasn’t told that the kitchen appliances or utensils were to be requested the day before
