I think the staff could be a little friendlier.

Generally a very nice hotel and I would stay there again.

This is a well maintained older hotel with a great floor plan for the room with a walk in shower and separate couch area. The breakfast was average, but adequate.

Wonderful location and breakfast!

Room not the best for this brand. More like a motel room. The carpet was sticky, spots on the sofa, and had to specify to tidy the room and have clean towels. The kitchenette was tiny and not kept well. Stains around the sink and lots of scruff marks around the room Over paid for the room. I am on cross country road trip with my kids and this is a place not worth the price or rating on the app

This was a wonderful stop over location and Nashville adjacent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a real bonus, well beyond a typical continental breakfast. Highly recommended for those traveling I 65 or visiting Nashville!

The property is OLD but clean. The way they do Ck in is ridiculous. There’s so much furniture in the main lobby. You can’t have more than three people checking in and you’re still almost falling over each other. You can barely get one of those carts through the main lobby. I’m not joking. There’s so much furniture. It’s insane.

We were leaving at 5 AM. Breakfast wasn’t open and the person bagged up bagels, cream cheese and bananas for my family. Very impressed!

Our room was two double beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and unusable. My kids preferred to squeeze on the L shaped couch and supplement with the ottoman. It was only for one night so we survived but it was not ideal. Water pressure was like a watering can. Breakfast was good. It was very busy with lots of guests but staff was keeping it stocked and tidy. Area felt safe with lots of shopping/food nearby.

Room was clean. Not a lot of drawers for clothes. Actually 3 drawers next to bathroom sink. Closet was hard to access and only provided 3 hangers. No place to hang wet bath towels. The rack where clean towels were located was INSIDE the shower stall. Our comforter on the bed was dingy and had a big black dirt smudge at the top edge. We stayed four nights. No house keeping. Breakfast food was very good. Seating not so much. Had to find tables scattered all around the lobby area. Not good.

It was quiet. Beds were very comfortable! Room and facilities clean and fresh smelling. The grab bar on shower/ tub was located next to the stool. There isn’t enough space to get in the tub from that side. There wasn’t enough space for people to sit for breakfast. The chairs are low and not very comfortable to get up and down. The hotel was farther off I-65 than it indicated on our GPS.

Without any notice, the pool and restaurant were closed, which is exactly why we booked there. False advertising. Regret staying there. Good location though.

The room seemed clean but noticed a strange odor throughout the property. Our window was very dirty and had black mold growing, I should have taken a picture. Hopefully they will deep clean or replace them soon. When we turned on the heater briefly it smelled like smoke - very strong so we turned it off immediately.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is very close to the Cool Springs Galleria and many restaurants. The staff was so friendly and kind. The room was very clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable. My only complaint is the bathroom door is very close to the commode which doesn’t give you much room to get out of the bathroom.

Difficult to communicate with desk staff at check-in. Very pleasant but had great difficulty understanding I had reserved three rooms, with different names on each. Finally got it resolved but was painful. Breakfast was quite good. All staff were attentive but some didn't understand English.

Breakfast buffet was super basic. Overall wouldn’t stay again and would suggest the Drury Inn Plaza a few miles away. There are tons of other options in the area if choose over this one.

We booked a king bed and couch for 4 people. The couch didn’t turn into a bed:/ so really didn’t sleep 4. Listed as a sofa bed.

Fold-out sofa bed was dirty and when I asked if I could get a new or different mattress pad, they said no. There was popcorn, hair, and it was clearly not cleaned.

Room was big and fit our family well. Beds were comfy and we slept great. Breakfast had limited options and was very picked over by 9am. Wasn’t sure how to order a coffee in the lobby as there was no one there making drinks.

First stay was great, this stay was a little disappointing. My room was right next to the ice machine, and it was a frequently visited place in the hotel, so noise was an issue for me. My room was also missing its microwave, and the shower didn't slope properly to the drain, so the shower held water when in use. All in all, I was just there to sleep, charge my phone, and get ready for the day. I could nit-pick it to death, but it served its purpose for my trip.

We thought this was a great hotel for an overnight stay just passing through town. Very nice location!

What we appreciated in addition to easy check in and well maintained property was the fact the the room layout was not typical hotel room style but more on the order of a studio apartment.

The room was nice and spacious, which made our stay more comfortable. One challenge we experienced was the lack of a luggage cart upon arrival. We’re used to having one available, so it was a bit difficult having to carry all of our bags up to the room ourselves. Aside from that inconvenience, everything else about the stay was positive.

The location was good with several restauarants nearby and stores at the mall area. I would recommend this location unless you are a light sleeper.

Bed Parking

My 3rd time to stay at this exact hotel. Clean, good breakfast, large room, 15 minutes from downtown. Consistent!

Make sure to have staff change sheets if you stay longer than 2/3 days. But really No complaints at all. Will love to stay here again. Great hotel

Friendly staff, clean room with a nice couch sitting area and extra sink and counter/fridge area, plus a really good complimentary breakfast with lots of options. The location is also excellent! We stayed for a weekend visit. The Cool Springs mall and many restaurants are within a 2 minute drive and 20 minutes to visit downtown Nashville. I would stay here again! The price is so much better than any downtown option.

The ac went out and it was hot but all they did was say “I’m sorry”

Some parts of the hotel and room were a little dated and the micro fridge in our room was a bit wobbly.

Really nice room. Clean and well appointed. Having a couch/ottoman and desk area was comfortable and convenient. In a very nice neighborhood with restaurants and shopping areas nearby. Would stay there again when in the area. Hot breakfast was good for a small hotel.

Parking was a struggle arriving later at night. The room was clean but small, especially the bathroom.

I have stayed at 2 other Hyatt Place in the last 2 months and this one was by far the worst. There was hair left in multiple faces and it did not feel very clean. Overall it felt old and outdated. There wasn’t even a convenient charger outlet.

As far as the room, it was comfortable and clean. The shower had good water pressure and ample hot water. The only thing I would have changed was the coffee pot - I was really hoping for a more traditional model, but that's okay. They had coffee available downstairs in the breakfast area, and there are several coffee shops close by. I have more trips planned in the area, and I'll very likely stay here again.

We were in town for a conference, and the room was perfect for our visit. The staff was courteous, the room was a good size and we appreciated the couch in our room for eating lunch or watching tv at night. The breakfast was well seasoned and had a variety between days. The only thing we had to get used to was the channel signals on the tv.

We stayed in a room with a pullout couch for our kids and the furniture was arranged in such a way that we had to move everything to get the couch out. The TV didn’t work. Multi stink bugs, bettles in the room. Headboard had something white that was splatered on it. It had a grudgey feeling to it. Will not be staying here again. And yes it's in the South, I go to TN every couple of months never had this problem. I lived there for 8 yrs again never had this problem.

Staff was disinterested and didn’t care about the customer. We asked for a blanket for the pull out bed and they told us they didn’t have any. We waited a few hours for them to wash some and dry them, and they still said they didn’t have any. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Place was fairly clean.

Room need upgrades; tv, shower area etc. Everything looked so old an worn out. Even the elevators were had holds in the walls of it, the panels were loose, and the numbers weren’t visible. Looks nice on the outside but not so well on the inside.

Check in was not the great, the front desk person was not very informative he just shoved papers at youa nd said sign this. He did not explain things well at all. The room was very dusty, hair in the tub, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfasts was not good unless you want to play hockey with the waffles. Definitely had higher expectations from this location.

The room was clean and in good condition. Rahman, the only staff member i spoke with staff was discourteous and wanted to spend time speaking with friends rather than tending to guests. He had to reset the lock on my room door and lied sbout what he did onstead of staring the obvious.

Communication was lacking. Given wrong breakfast hours, road was closed in front of the hotel and no room service on Thanksgiving. Recommend that staff provide correct information and be more transparent when there are disruptions in service. Also, staff need to be more friendly and accommodating. They had a just deal with it attitude. Plenty of other options in that area. I’ll choose different next time.

We had a dog with us. Our room was right by an Employee Only door and the door outside and it was so loud all night.

Do not accept a room assignment of Room #208 at this hotel. A sleep disorder center is in Rooms #209 and also an unnumbered room next to it. Every 5 to 10 minutes, a loud buzz noise goes off for 15 to 30 seconds, and YOU may have a sleep disorder by the time you end your stay. While the hotel clerk moved us when we called and told him, he should not have put us there in the first place. I told the morning clerk that they should not put any customers in that room. She was apologetic. Breakfast was subpar: fruit was in poor condition to be serving; yogurt was not in individual containers. Little effort. Not staying here again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, the perfect place to unwind. Overall, it was a truly lovely experience and we would absolutely stay here again!

Very clean as typical from all of my stays over past few years. It was sad to notice all tenured employees were no longer on staff…and no Halloween display under its new ownership. Not as vibrant and welcoming as it was prior to June 2025 ownership change. I may go elsewhere as the vibe has gone down exponentially.

The staff was really sweet and accommodating. 5 star staff for sure! The property is very clean, but dated. I believe they are about to undergo a huge renovation. Breakfast was a little limited, but decent overall.

The hotel was nice, but it definitly has seen better days. It is a little run down, lights falling apart, elevator feels questionable. They need to do a lot of remodeling.

A comfortable and clean, quiet, and well lit room. nice shower and kitchenette. I would have liked a microwave to reheat some leftovers. TV was quirky, with no on screen guide or premium channels. Temperature control was well functioning. Breakfast staff were very accommodating and there were ample healthy options. Night check in staff seemed uninterested in offering directions but check out in the morning was a breeze.

What a nice hotel! I loved that there were real mugs and glasses in the room. The breakfast was very delicious. All round a very nice hotel.

Hotel really wasn’t that clean or well kept. I was surprised as this was a Hyatt property or at least managed under the Hyatt brand. In the end I was charged twice on two different cards as I had asked to move my stay from a debit card to a credit card to get points when I checked in. I was told that they’d not charge both cards both at check in and check out and then a week later upon reviewing my statements they did charge both cards, for vastly different amounts. Something a little fishy going on here. In the meantime I’ve reached out to the hotel and there is no answer at lobby. I booked through Orbitz so I’ve asked them to intervene and they can’t get ahold of anyone and have now elevated this to an Orbitz specialist to see what can be done next. All I’m saying is, think twice before choosing this Hyatt Place in Franklin.

Close to areas we needed

The room was very clean and big too. The staff was curtious and professional. My two suggestions would be to improve parking, at least more signage to designate additional parking in back; and better eggs for breakfast. They were not very good.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the accommodations were perfect for my large family. The breakfast was just ok as the food was not as fresh as I prefer. While slightly aged, the building was kept pretty clean.

Great location tucked away, but within minutes of a mall and restaurants. Free breakfast. Friendly staff. Fast check in. Very quiet room and I was on the first floor. It does seem to be an older hotel, but has been well maintained. I was able to park close to door and in a safe area. Rooms were spacious. If you are looking for over the top fancy, not for you. If you are looking for a safe, clean, affordable place with free parking, this is great for you.

I had a good experience. The hotel is showing wear but was clean!

Very outdated decor and dark. A/C in the room was VERY LOUD! Desk staff spoke very broken English and it was very hard to understand them.

Overall great. Clean! Well kept and newer place. Evening staff was good, morning was hard to find anyone who worked there and they never ended up bringing me toiletries I had asked for. But overall things were good.

There was a roach in the middle of the floor about a quarter size right when entering the room. Front desk agent was not friendly about it and refused to refund. They did change our room.

Breakfast was terrible. Potatoes were not good at all. I would recommend keeping coffee out until after 10am. Convenient location and very clean.

I’ve booked my two rooms and specifically reserved two bed rooms with two queen beds August 27th for my trip to Nashville September 13 so almost 3 weeks with Expedia! Got a confirmation email and another email three days before my trip that everything is set and the two rooms with the two queen beds were supposedly booked. Each room was enough for 6 sleeps so it was going to be enough for my sister and I and kids for one room and my Friend and her kids in the other, that’s how we specifically wanted it to be. Well, the day we walked in to get our 3 weeks prior booked rooms, I was surprised by the front desk receptionist that he was sold out on double queen beds!!!!! Of course we came to check in after a 3 hour drive with exhausted kids so I said wait what do you mean??!!! The receptionist Micheal was extremely rude and did not handle our frustration in a professional way, he actually raised his voice at us in-front of the kids and was ready to fight!!!!!! He was asking me to book somewhere else and that he can refund me the money!!! I told him that how am I going to book a new reservation somewhere else when it’s already past 3:00 pm and I have kids and two babies!!! We had to accept taking a third room and splitting us apart which was not the intent in the first place. The manager spoke to me the next day and after I told him what happened he said you could’ve booked somewhere else. My rooms were given to somebody else god knows what was the reason and the intention. I will

The hotel was ok, needs renovation. The free breakfast was probably the worse that we have experienced! Coffee didn't taste like coffee and the powdered scrambled eggs were watery.

Only negative was that there needed to be both electrical outlets and cell phone charging stations on both sides of the bed!

Very nice hotel. Better than expected from some of the reviews I had read. Breakfast was good with a good variety of choices. The only downside was the mattress on the sofa bed was terrible.

Once again my stay was amazing. This has been my home away from during my son's first 2 years at Belmont University and will be during his next 2-3 years. The location, staff, safety and cleanliness of the the hotel is amazing.

Hallways are quite narrow, but room was spacious and quiet. I appreciated the walk in shower.

The day time reception people were so kind and helpful! The night time guy wasn’t very friendly. Our room had a problem with the AC where it smelled like chemicals or gas. They switched our room which was nice but didn’t check on the gas issue which is scary!

When my friend decided to stay at this hotel, it was because it was pet-friendly. His pets are emotional dogs, and they wouldn't accept his certificates. They charged him $100 for just a couple of hours. Other hotels I've stayed at waived the fee for my more expensive emotional support services. Be cautious if you stay here, as you know, they won't honor this service.

Quickest check in ever. Friendly staff. Didn’t charge deposits or anything weird. Probably my best hotel experience ever.

The biggest problem is that the pool was shut down and had no water in it. One of the reasons we stayed here was because it was listed as having a pool. With three young kids who get excited about being able to swim and needing to burn some energy after long car trips, we specifically look for hotels with pools. There was no indicator when we booked that the pool here was inoperable. Kind of bummer. Overall, the hotel was ok (beds were fine and breakfast was pretty good). It's just that nothing was up to the standards of other Hyatt Place hotels at which we've stayed. If this had been our first experience, we would probably avoid Hyatt Place from now on. Fortunately, this seems like an outlier.

Did have great food options on door dash. We left quickly in the morning before 8 and did not try the complimentary breakfast. One nice thing is that check out is at noon.

Overall, a great hotel and room. Nice staff. Super comfy bed and linens. My room suddenly became freezing around 11PM, and the window unit inoperable but with the on switch lit. The room phone had no cord, forcing me to dress & go to the lobby, where the clerk informed me that temp control is via a thermostat on the wall in the kitchen area! Also, some strange and very complicated clock radio device w/o instructions that I never managed to get to operate other than to reach a few static-laden radio stations. Forget setting an alarm!! Turns out NOPE, not a problem with me. The clerk informed me that device is for "wake up" calls ONLY. He then said there should be another clock on which the alarm can be manually set. Go figure. I set my iPhone. Finally, the TV. The screen instructions were to press "Guide" for channel list. Didn't do a dang thing. There was a QRS code on the bedside stand and instructions to scan it for "all things Hyatt Place". Guess I shoulda scanned it to learn how to operate all this stuff that typically is pretty straightforward. As in, "hot, cool, fan high, fan low"; set alarm and press buttons to set time; or have a cord to plug in phone; and "if you follow the instructions on the TV screen, what it has told you will happen will actually happen, and you won't have to discover a QRS code next to your bed that actually might tell you to ignore what the TV instructs you to do. Even so, my stay was very pleasant, especially for the price.

This was a great hotel to stay in for our family of 5! The room was large and the kids loved it.

Beds super small and bfast was not good

The beds were small, they seemed more like full size than queen beds.

We arrived late in the evening and were checked in quickly. Our room was right next to the elevator on the third floor. The room was clean and really nice. However, there were two issues we had. First one was that the hairdryer had a short in it, and only worked if held in a certain position. Secondly and more importantly, all night long, at intermittent times, we heard a very loud bang. It wasn’t until the next morning that we realized every time the elevator closed right outside of our door it made the sound that we heard all night long. Very discouraging when you need your sleep so badly!

Breakfast was very nice.

Room is great, location great, but I read that it had a bar and some food offered. No bar and no food, but for the money it’s hard to beat. I do look forward to the breakfast in the morning

Hyatt Place, Franklin, TN is situated in a beautiful nature setting. It's appropriately tucked away and peaceful. Yet, it's convenient to the nearby business, shopping and family friendly communities.

This room was perfect for a one night stay. The staff were very nice and breakfast was delicious.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was decent for an included breakfast. Reception area was clean but as soon as I got in the elevator I knew the hotel was not going to be as clean as I prefer. The carpet was dingy and stained and there was just a general feeling of run down. The hotel was fine. Serviceable but not worth the rating it has on here.

The beds weren't very comfortable and the down comforter needed to be replaced but service was great. We asked for grab and go because we had to leave before 6 am. They were all ready to go for us at 530 am. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and helpful.

It’s really weird that there’s a sleep clinic located inside this hotel, and the window and 317 is broken. The hotel is very outdated and needs a facelift.

The hotel was in a great location. Near lots of shopping restaurants. The room was recently renovated and nicely appointed. The gym had good equipment. Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and continental selections. The staff was helpful and friendly. Over good experience.

The room was clean. It didn’t smell bad. The host was kind. Our only issue (which can be big or small depending on the person) is the invasion of privacy. One of the workers unlocked our door while we were in the room and barged in. That felt pretty aggressive. We were quite taken back. My kids were really upset.

A great place to stay for families.

Upon arrival, I waited 15 minutes for someone to come help me at the front desk. The carpet was soaked beside the AC unit inside my room. My room was also beside the elevator, which resulted in a constant banging noise inside my room. The snacks were nearly empty near the front desk. I was not impressed with my stay here.

The staff is very nice and courteous! The room we had was nice, no frills. The pool needed attention. Lobby was clean and updated. Breakfast was adequate.
