June 5-7,2026. June 5th the 1st room 103 had water leaking from the bathroom granite countertop even when the water was off along with water leaks in the ceiling covered up by terrible flat base white paint. The 2nd room 116 they moved us to had a dead roach in the middle of the bathroom floor. The 3rd room they moved us to 321 we rolled the luggage cart (it needs to be replaced and it's only one cart for the entire hotel) upon rolling the cart into the room the bottom bumper of the cart hit a wall tile that immediately fell on the floor. I checked the bathroom and 3 floor tiles in front of the bathtub lifted as soon as I stepped on them with slight water that can be seen in the grout of the tiles. The 4th room we moved to 301 shower head had a bit of lime deposit on it and we found a centipede crawling up the wall behind the bathroom door. The desk was falling apart. My husband bought cleaner from Publix and cleaned the bathroom, fixed the desk and we disinfected the room ourselves. Only reason we stayed is because the CMA Fest was that weekend & we couldn't find another room. We stuck it out in room 301. June 6th obvious water damage in lobby and breakfast area of the hotel, elevator stopped working, pool was closed & green/dirty looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years. On our walk to the pool we saw another dead roach in the hallway. Gym smelt old and musty. The manager Allison was nice and offered me 10,000 IHG points that I never received. #Don't stay here.
- 3/5
A convenient place to stay though a bit run down. Not the cleanest Express I’ve stayed in and a bit smelly. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and restful. The price was good
- 2/5
There were two live cockroaches in the room, and it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. I also needed fresh towels and had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The clerk handed me two towels after repeatedly touching his face, which made me uncomfortable using them. Overall, the cleanliness and service were well below expectations.
- 5/5
Very nice place, staff was great
- 4/5
Reservation was for 4. Only 2 sets of towels available
- 1/5
The hotel was very dirty and felt unsafe. After trying two different rooms, we checked out and went to a different hotel. Mold on ceilings, fluid stains on bed, dirty floors, tubs and bathrooms. The hotel was poorly maintained and felt unsafe. It was located behind a Home Depot, and I actually thought it was an abandoned hotel when I pulled around the corner. I appreciate hotels.com for resolving the issue and giving a refund.
- 2.5/5
Mold in the ceiling. Tub had lost coating around the drain.
- 1/5
Set us up in a room with a broken desk that you couldn't use. Hotel was dirty also. I'll never stay at holiday inn again.
- 4/5
Hotel is back in a hole and can be diff ultrasound to find pretty excluded from main road.

- 2/5
Property is dated, in need of upgrades. Only plus is the eating/breakfast area, very nice. The rooms need help. Bathroom tiles are loose, broken with raised edges creating tripping hazards. Carpeting throughout looks dirty. I would not recommend this property.
- 4/5
Clean room and breakfast area. Property needs updating.
- 1/5
When you drive up to the property, it needs a good pressure washing on the exterior since it is covered with green mold. The lobby was clean enough, but as you walk towards the elevators it is clear that the carpets are not vacuumed daily. When we entered our room, we noticed the tiles on the bathroom floor were loose and there was an area in front of the tub that felt like if you jumped on it, we would go through the floor. At 12:30an at night we found out why, water began pouring through the light fixture in our bathroom to that area on the floor. I called the front desk and the gentleman asked me if I wanted to change rooms to which I told him I think we would need to or be flooded by morning. We changed rooms, and it was OK. We would definitely not choose to stay here again. The hotel only compensated us $50 for the inconvenience of changing rooms in the middle of the night. Clearly, this was not a new problem to this hotel room and yet we were still booked to this room. Breakfast was mediocre. The one positive is that the beds were clean and comfortable, but beyond that I don’t have much positive to say about this hotel.
- 1/5
The room looks nothing like the pictures. The tub wouldn’t drain. The toilet was dirty and parts were broken. The walls were cracked. The curtains had mild and mildew. The breakfast was terrible. None of the food in the pictures was offered. When I complained all he said was, “Sorry about that.” Terrible experience all around
- 1/5
Very dirty carpet. I did my check out just 10 mins after I did my check in. Staff was very nice. We were told that the room will go through a full renovation.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, full breakfast
- 2/5
The rooms weren't very clean, several of the floor tiles in the room entry way and bathroom were loose. The worst thing about the room was that the beds were hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on the floor. The pool was out of service and looks like it had been for quite a while. It was green and full of algae. I would definitely not stay here again.
- 5/5
Stopped here for an overnight on our roadtrip, everything was great. Breakfast was good, clean and had lots of choices. Staff was efficient and friendly.
- 3/5
This hotel was well worn. On the older side and not maintained the best. Bathrooms on main floor had a faucet that wasn't bolted down, toilet paper holder non existent in men's. The little "store" next to check in was almost empty. The room was worn with chips on paint and bathroom overly caulked. The beds were hard and lumpy. The breakfast was surprisingly good.
- 3/5
Surprisingly. Yes.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, front desk very nice!
- 4/5
Room and facilities were as expected for the price. Wish they served bacon in addition to or instead of sausage at breakfast.
- 3/5
Breakfast was OK, Air Conditioner worked ok. The main Door was difficult to close
- 4/5
Rooms were out dated. The shower door did not close all the way. Water was on floor after the shower. Breakfast was good.
- 3.5/5
I loved how close it was to the highway but alittle hard to find The room was dated and the floors where sagging so the drawers in the dresser should not stay shut also looks like there was a leak recently in the ceiling
- 1/5
Not sure if something happened recently, but there were so many problems with this hotel. First was the room we were put in. The ceiling was cracking down the middle. We were put in the room right next door where it was slanted down the hallway. I went down stairs to ask for the drinking fountains and they were all broken so had to go out and buy water. The next day while eating breakfast there was water damage pretty extensive on the ceiling. By the elevators in the lobby was the same. The ceiling looked like it was going to fall in.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and cinnamon rolls.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. The bathroom was moldy around shower door. The mattress was hard and pillows were flat. The breakfast selection was limited due to slow season.
- 4/5
It was clean and the breakfast was good and hot. There was a young female who had been there 3 yrs and was very helpful. The parking was lacking but the hotel was convenient to restaurants, gas stations and shopping.
- 3/5
Facility was ok
- 3/5
The property was dirty top to bottom, inside and outside public areas. The room itself was clean.
- 2.5/5
The location was perfect for what we were doing this weekend The trash was full of things from the previous tenant in the room. The carpet in the hallway had a dirty Band-Aid on it right outside the elevator and no one cleaned it up in the three days I was there. The tiles in the bathroom were loose due to the building, settling, causing the grout to crack from the looks of it. The refrigerator in the room wasn’t working and it seems like rather than replace it. They put another refrigerator in the room over by the bed.
- 2/5
Booked a Wednesday-Sunday. They ran out of towels and when we asked for fresh towels, the front desk assumed we were on overstay and talked down to us about it when we booked this trip in October for this February. The breakfast didn't have meat everyday, it was hit and miss. There were signs of plenty of roof leaks, but I will give it to them that they did just have a pretty bad storm a few months ago. The tile in the lobby was done poorly, if you drag your feet you will likely trip. My wife and I will typically book Holiday Inn Express, because we know what we will get. However, this one was well below par.
- 2/5
I booked a king room. When I got there they said they didn’t have a king room available because the room wasn’t clean yet. I was offered a double queen room for the same price. That’s not what I booked so I said I technically didn’t need to occupy the room until after seven so I can wait until one is clean. The front desk checked with housekeeping to find out a time frame on when they would have king rooms available and I was told it would be seven minutes. I probably made it there around 4 o’clock. So it’s past time for check in so why are the rooms not clean. I chose to sit in the lobby and wait. I did receive a king room but in corner with ottoman and seating there was so much dust in the corner that it looked like it had not been touched in a year. There was hair on the bed comforter and the room smelled not so fresh.
- 3/5
The hotel needs some work! Uneven floors and a ceiling downstairs falling. The drinking fountain’s never work. The hotel is fairly quiet. Se
- 3/5
The room was "ok".
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious. Check in and out was smooth. On the negative side the parking lot was a sheet of ice.
- 2.5/5
Bed was comfortable Shower was hot and great water pressure Hallways were dirty Curtains were stained Microwave didn’t work Employees were not very pleasant or helpful Key wouldn’t unlock my door

There was plenty of room to hang with friends in the evening.
- 4/5
Hotel itself is getting run down and rather shabby. Room was ok

Friendly staff, clean room
- 3/5
Meh. Parking and the check-in process was smooth but the hotel definitely needs a good maintenance company and cleaning.
- 5/5
A++ accommodations and staff. Highly recommend!
- 3/5
We were told, No breakfast items available due to no shipments to hotel.
- 3/5
Long wait to check in, no hot food for breakfast and no milk for cereal.
- 3/5
The room is clean.
- 3/5
The room was serviceable, albeit a bit hot and stuffy even with a window open, and overall the property is dingy and poorly maintained. Stained carpets, damage to walls, fixtures, and furniture is apparent everywhere, and the building has a noticeable musty smell of age and poor cleaning.
- 5/5
Breakfast was nice. Some warm eggs and waffles. Location was a little strange - right by the freeway so some highway noise. Otherwise its a great find - pretty close to some decent shopping and dining areas.
- 5/5
Yes very much so
- 4/5
Room clean safe area
- 2/5
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, tv did not work and elevator stalled everytime I rode it.
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent breakfast, and the staff was great
- 5/5
During my first stay in September 2025 everything was great from curtesy and service to breakfast and air conditioning on third floor; on my second stay in October, the air conditioning was not cooling, so on my third stay in November, I requested a room on third floor and had no issues. I recommend this place!
- 1/5
It was the worst hotel I ever stayed at the 1st room had no blinds in it the second one bathroom lights flickered and was told the ppl to fix it was working at another location, the toilet back up multiple times we could not use our bathroom from 3am Saturday morning till 2pm Saturday bathroom was dirty and them we checked out at 8am Sunday morning because the toilet was backed up again I want my money back it was not a pleasant stay at all
- 3/5
yes
- 1/5
I’ve stayed at holiday in hundreds of times and I’m a platinum ihg member. For the first time ever the place was dirty. The ac unit didn’t work properly. The coffee was not good. We left at 630 am due to all of the above mentioned issues. I won’t stay there again
- 5/5
Staff
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Room was clean and beds were comfortable. My biggest issue was the water pressure was almost nonexistent and hot water was just above luke warm. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but well stocked and everything was tasty.
- 4/5
Good breakfast!
- 2/5
This property looked like an old, tired hotel. It was also very difficult to find. It was not like other Holiday Inn Expresses in this area.
- 2/5
Upon entering our room, we saw “repairs” along multiple walls and the ceiling where water had leaked and caused damage. Large sections of the ceiling were bowing and looked unsafe. This was motel quality labeled as a hotel—far from excellent and not what you would expect from Holiday Inn. It’s shocking that this location even remains open, as repairs are clearly long overdue Customer service was also poor. The staff were neither welcoming upon check-in nor helpful. When my husband asked if they had luggage carts, the lady behind the counter pointed over in the direction of the carts without a word said and annoyance all over her face. It was evident that they didn’t want to be there and didn’t care about their jobs or customers.
- 2/5
Ice machine on floor broke. Drinking fountains not working. This is a property that needs a lot of work. The front desk staff was pleasant to work with! We did not complain while staying. None of the problems were quick fixes.
- 4/5
Room was clean but needs some help. Someone must have sat on the desk table and it has a mean lean to it. The whole place needs some updating including the ghastly art work. The location is dark and depressing. Girl at the breakfast station was non stop working…breakfast was pretty good.

- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Not what I expected based off reviews.
- 4/5
Comfortable place and pricing was reasonable. Close to shopping areas and many dining options.
- 1/5
This is not the quality that we expect from Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is VERY outdated and has numerous maintenance and quality issues. The hotel had a lot of cleanliness problems and our room did not “feel” clean due to these issues. The TV was broken (screen partially damaged) and desk lamp didn’t work. The bathroom looks dirty (especially the tub) and has broken and loose tiles. The sink stopper and toilet seat were broken, and water pressure in sink was barely enough to wash your face. The door sweep had hair stuck to it. Room ceiling had numerous water stains. Bed comforter and skirt had stains. Parking lot was very dark. Ice machine on 2nd floor was broken/unplugged and had no sign. Broken luggage cart and water fountain on first floor. Staff was friendly but at check-in 5 people stacked up while the attendant talked on the phone with what sounded like a manager. Absolutely not worth what we paid for a night and not relaxing at all. We did not sleep well and will not return.
- 1/5
Not much breakfast out no coffee
- 4/5
It was nice.
- 0.5/5
Oh I have pictures. Bugs, broken bathroom floors, no water pressure, room refrigerator froze food, moisture in the air to the point that the carpets and bedding felt wet, stains on the top sheet, when we arrived and I had to have the room remade, etc.
- 5/5
Nice bed
- 4/5
Everything was great about the hotel with one exception. The mattress on the bed was extremely uncomfortable and was like sleeping on a brick. Could not get a good night sleep and I am still sore afyer sleeping on the bed.
- 2/5
rooms felt damp. We were able to try a few rooms, but they all were damp feeling and musty. Carpets felt damp when wearing socks. This is an older property that got a lipstick update.
- 3/5
Breakfast is usually good at Holiday Inn Express’s,especially the cinnamon rolls. This one had cinnamon rolls,a broken juice and pancake machine and limited options. It was also a little run down.
- 3/5
Location was easy to get to, but right beside the interstate. Room was clean. Bed was firm. Pillows were all too soft. There's normally a balance of firm and soft, so if you need more supportive pillows, be sure to bring them. Free breakfast was normal. The property had LOTS of things out of order. Could benefit from a good dose of general maintenance.
- 1/5
Nasty at main entrance, front desk staff acted as if they could care less about being at work, A/C unit didn't work probably, light bulbs out/ wall light switch didn't work, cigarette butts containers visibly full outside of main entrance and stinking, chair in dining area torn/ripped. A disgrace for Holiday Inn Express
- 4/5
Good breakfast included. Pancake machine was down during our visit but the rest was good too.
- 3/5
The water fountains were out of order and and the water machine at the breakfast area was on only during breakfast hours so you were forced to purchase water
- 1/5
Old hotel and beds were the really uncomfortable and the breakfast sucked
- 4/5
Good and clean but needs some updating. Needs bigger pillows.
- 5/5
The property is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
- 3/5
This place needs a refresh badly. It did not live up to my brand expectations. The floors are uneven on all floors near the elevators. My room was in horrid condition. The threshold was taped down and the door was hard to operate. The bathroom floor was not level and had multiple broken tiles. Several of the bedroom lights did not work. It had a heavy smell of deodorants to attempt to cover up the smell.
- 5/5
Checking in was good. The worker was very nice and pleasantly. The room smelled very musky like a cigarette. The sheets had blood on it from a dead bug. The tub was gross.
- 5/5
Easy check in, friendly staff. Everyone was super nice throughout the stay. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Room was clean ans tidy.
- 3/5
The air conditioning worked well!
- 4/5
I like the price i paid. Wasn't able to eat breakfast because the pancake machine was down
- 3/5
Average
- 5/5
Great price, clean, easy to get in and out. Loved the breakfast
- 5/5
Don’t want to ruin you guys review by giving you less stars, my only concern/suggestion would be to add a smart tv in the rooms, or maybe chrome cast so guest can use their phones to watch something on the tv. No complaints just a suggestion but I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Still got a 10.00 pending charge on my account for almost a month now
- 1/5
We checked out same day due to mold smell
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 5/5
Nice stay for a night on the road! My family and I were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good - delicious food and very clean/organized area. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
Check in went smooth, but proceeded to 3rd floor to find the hallway hot as it was outside then proceeded to our room which the air was not working in and smelled like mold. They moved us to the 2nd floor, hallways was still hot, but room was super cool but stinky and wet feeling from the humidity in the air I guess. Sheets, covers, everything felt wet. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
En route from Florida to Illinois.
- 2.5/5
Quality of the hotel didn't meet other holiday inns
- 1/5
Room needed repairs, air condition humidity level inappropriate, desk broken, window parts missing, mold in the shower room 208
- 1.5/5
Not updated air was out jn our room and seemed main hotel so was super hot. Had to change rooms due to the heat.
- 2/5
I didn't really care for anything about this hotel. The air conditioner wouldn't hardly work. Tub had mold around the rug. Bed was very uncomfortable and hard.
- 1/5
This was something we booked last minute to break up a long trip. We should have read some more reviews. Upon walking in to check in, the air was damp and hot. The AC in all common areas and hallways was out. The worker at the desk said it had been out for a while. The hallways and bedrooms smelled mildewy. The floor in our hotel room felt damp. The only working ice machine was on the first floor. While heading to the 3rd floor from the lobby, the elevator stopped at the 3rd level, but the doors didnt open. It completely froze, then quietly slowly descended back to the lobby, had an abrupt drop, an alarm sounded, then a message showed on the screen saying, exit immediately when doors open. Both public and service doors opened. When we told the workers what happened, they said "stairs are available." The next day, when we were trying to move all of our stuff out, my husband tried the elevator again to avoid carrying luggage down the stairs. The elevator didn't respond to the button being pushed to call it to our floor. No "out of service" signs were posted. We ate continental breakfast in the dining area that morning. The upholstery was dirty and wallpaper and paint was peeling from the walls in a few areas. When walking through hallways and stairways, carpets were dirty.
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful had a great stay.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
No issues.
- 2.5/5
Musty , flooring was popping loose,
- 2/5
When I entered the room it smelt so musty. The carpet felt damp & the pool was shut down.
- 3/5
decent value
- 5/5
Lovely room with kitchen and living room, office desk and chair, great bathroom, no complaints!
- 4/5
Breakfast was pretty good, staff was nice. Quick overnight stay as we made our way south. Not a disappointment.
- 3/5
This was a quick stay for us and served all of our needs!
- 1/5
Upon entry to the room, I immediately noticed that not only were the floors uneven, they were also dirty...there were hair strands and dust/dirt on the tile in the entryway. THE ONLY reason my son and i ACTUALLY slept at this hotel is because we arrived at 10:30 and it was WAY TOO LATE to find a different place to stay. I booked off of hotels.com. Their reviews seemed to be ok....CLEARLY CLEARLY they aren't current...I'm going to fix that. If you have the expectation to stay at a place that looks like the posted photos, DONT STAY HERE
- 3/5
No water fountain - was told it has been out of service for five years but they were selling water bottles
- 2/5
There pool is not operational even thou they say it is! The carpets in the room are sticky to walk on(so not cleaned well) Hallway were extremely hot at all times!
- 1/5
This property is old, the floors are dirty. It smells like mildew when you walk in the hallways and elevators are very hot and humid. The bed is clean. Our furniture was broken in our room and the floors in the bathroom are filthy. I would not recommend this property as a typical Holiday Inn express usually has more comfortable beds and is typically more clean than this.
- 5/5
Convenient location and nice facility
- 4/5
Nice property for an overnight stay why traveling.
- 5/5
Nice stay for an overnight stop during travel.
- 2/5
Mold and dirty
- 5/5
Hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good, run of the mill Holiday Inn options. Room was clean and neat. We have stayed here before and will again in the future. The location is very quiet and safe.
- 2/5
Staff was friendly but room/bathroom was unclean and smelled badly, like mildew.
- 5/5
The customer service is excellent
- 5/5
Great stay in the perfect location next to the highway.
- 5/5
Stayed for the night on the way south. Everything was good, but the bed was a little too firm. If you like a firmer mattress then you'll like it.
- 5/5
Easy check in, nice staff, extremely clean property 10/10!!!
- 4/5
The location is nice, quiet. Rooms are a bit small and dated but more than sufficient for what we needed!
- 3/5
Floors were slanted in areas, to the point that bathroom floor tiles were lifting up, the hallways were dirty, the bathrooms (public) had toilet paper holders that were coming off the walls, the chairs in the dining area were stained and the only gluten free option for breakfast was fresh fruit and coffee. Not the best experience … wouldn’t take my shoes off while walking in the room. 😞
- 5/5
we had a great stay. the staff were helpful and friendly. the breakfast was hot and delicious. would stay again.
- 3/5
The building is clearly shifting making some floors buckle with loose tiles, and flooring. The floor actually felt springy in our room which points to structural problems with the building.
- 1/5
Also, bath tab was not suited for handicap people. The Furniture in the room were falling apart. I reported a clogged-up toilet. The help I got was that someone brought me a plunger. That was it. Any calls with the complaint line of IHG was either disconnected, they could not find any information are the promised call back from the management never happened. This was one of the worst hotel experiences
- 2/5
The entire hotel seems to be settling. The floors are not level and the tiles are shifting. Beds were so hard I didnt sleep well. The staff were friendly though. Would look elsewhere for my next stay though!
- 3/5
The property overall was clean but not as pictured online
- 0.5/5
The fact that I booked my trip through booking.com and when I arrived at the facility they did not have my reservation nor did they try to accommodate ANYTHING !
- 3/5
We ran out of towels, was not able to get any till late, low on staff
- 2/5
One of the big reasons we chose to pay more was the free breakfast. It was nothing to brag about. The pancake maker was down, the eggs, sausage, and gravy were simply warmed up. It just wasn’t worth the extra we paid to stay there.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay

I called the front desk, and the night staff provided excellent service by quickly offering another room. However, the new room had the same flooring issues, and the lighting was inadequate, making the space feel dim and unwelcoming. The bathroom was disappointing—the shower seemed questionable, and the caulking around the tub and sink fixtures looked like a rushed DIY job rather than a professional finish. There was also a faint, unpleasant smell in the room. The luggage carts are in ROUGH shape. I was worried it would fall to pieces with each turn we took… Breakfast was underwhelming compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations I’ve stayed at. The selection wasn’t exciting, and overall, it didn’t leave a good impression. The only truly positive aspect was the night staff, who were friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their efforts to make my family comfortable, but the condition of the hotel was a major letdown. I know Holiday Inn Express is capable of much better, which made this experience surprising and disappointing. The reviews did not reflect reality, and I personally will not be returning to this location. I do hope whomever is in charge will fix up the place for future guests.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 0.5/5
The smell when you walk in. Our room door had a big crack in the door up top. When tried to get another room and the same thing happened. The hotel is very old and it's like the foundation is shifting.
- 5/5
My stay was exactly what I needed. A clean place with a great Breakfast Bar. I didn’t get a chance to look at the fitness center, but if the quality of what I’ve seen so far is any indication, I would think that the same quality would apply to the fitness center. I will have to return next weekend with the rest of my family and I will be staying here.
- 4/5
Good hotel. Clean. Close to numerous restaurants. Fair price.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was efficient. The little things that make the difference between 4 and 5 star ratings were lacking, but still a good stay.
- 5/5
This was a last minute trip and the cost of this hotel was perfect. I will come back here again.
- 5/5
I didn't like the outdated tvss and no usb ports
- 2/5
The location was easy to find. Nice and quiet. My husband and I are laid back and not too picky so we didn’t ask for a different room. Not so good things: room wreaks like mildew/mold, toilet moves when you sit, bathroom tile on the floor is loose and cracked, caulking around everything in the bathroom looks like it was done by a toddler lol. They really could use some updates. Good: beds comfy and clean, pillows are great. We drove all day so a comfy bed was all we wanted. Probably won’t stay here again but it works for tonight.
- 5/5
Very nice room and experience
- 4/5
The location was somewhat difficult.
- 2/5
Maybe just not what I expected or am used to.

That staff are very friendly. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean. Our room was horrendous. As soon as you walk into the room your hit with the pungent smell of mold. The bathroom as no ventilation. There was mold growing on the ceiling and handicap seat. The AC unit was loud and would wake us up every time it came on. The window was unlocked on ground level. When my husband locked it, he had to take a shower due to the curtains being dry rot and getting all over him.

The lobby was very clean and nice. The shower had some black mold around the bottom portion of it. The toilet seat was only attached with one screw. The floors in the hotel sloped in many places. The front desk staff were not friendly.

This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at within the Brentwood/Nashville area. We were greeted by a cockroach on the elevator. Upon entering the room we were assaulted by a warm, musty odor. The carpet felt like it hadn't been cleaned in years, we couldn't walk on it barefoot because it felt like it was coated in maple syrup. I wasn't able to give my daughter a bath due to the black residue growing in the tub. The towels had strands of black hair stuck to them. When I pulled back the sheets in one of the beds, there was a live gnat hanging out in the covers. I am not confident the sheets were clean, we all felt itchy laying in the beds and the beds themselves had a fault urine odor. There was no way we were going to eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Upon checkout the attendant barely lifted her head to look at us and didn't bother asking how our stay was. I would not recommend or return to this location.

We stayed here driving home from Florida. The room was reasonably priced, the hotel was clean as well as our room. Staff was friendly and the surrounding area is quiet. Definitely would be staying here again if we take the same route.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast options were plentiful, and the bed was comfortable. Maintenance and cleanliness, though, left a lot to be desired. We couldn't even get in to the first room we were assigned because the door frame had been so badly damaged (kicked in?) The second room had a sagging desk, an overpowering smell of bad air freshener, and LOTS of mold in the shower.

Was hoping for newer rooms for the price

Felt like a super 8 remodel. Room stank and covers and carpet were damp. If I could post the smell of this place I would. Hard to believe Holiday Inn would allow their name to be associated with this place.

For one, I don’t know if the room has been properly kept but there was a bug in the shower. Also, my wife and I had went out on the town at 11AM Saturday and came back to our hotel room at 4:15PM to our room door being open for more than 3 hours because house keeping left our door open! We knew personnel came in because they retrieved used towels from the bathroom. I won’t be staying here again. If IHG prides itself on safety of its residents who reside there then this shouldn’t have happened! Having laptops, perfumes, shoes etc exposed, luckily there was not anything damaged! But can you imagine!??! Then, personnel want to reward you with points for “pity” or silence and I thoroughly did not agree with that not even knowing if the amount of points was worth a “full nights stay”! Train your personnel to close doors behind them because this situation could have turned out horribly another way!

Manger took care of nothing for me. First room was a fire safety, door took 2 minutes to open. The mold smell was powerful. Other room has pulled up carpet that was dangerous and ripped curtains

Was given rooms 224 and 226. Could not open the door due to door dragging floor. Once forced open there was a horrible smell of mold/mildew. So strong it took our breath. The dampness in room was bad. The other room the bathroom door would not shut. Both were very evident of serious water damage. We went downstairs and requested another room. The front desk person was not apologetic or really sympathetic- just asked if we had used the restroom. She did assign us new rooms on third floor which had no mildew smell but were not too clean. The curtains on one needed washing from food handprints, the shower had mildew stains and bottom dingy stains. We have stayed in Holiday Inn Express several times in past and always had a great stay. Your ratings look good but we found it way below the rating of 8 that was given online.

Great location, but the hotel needs updating! The floor was slanted. The doors didn’t close properly and the sheets were damp.

Location Room felt and smelled very stuffy. Not sure if the air was working properly. When you opened the door, which was very difficult to do since the floor was raised behind the door, the smell was intense. Everything in the room seemed smelly and felt damp. Glad we were only there one night. We spent the next night at Holiday Inn Vanderbilt and our room was fine. No odor or dampness. Just not a good experience and I was afraid that we would end up sick.

The hotel was great! Until we got into our room. It was clean but it smelled horribly, like damp and mildew. I’m not sure if it was the heating/cooling unit or what, or if it was all the rooms, but hopefully someone addresses that.

Breakfast options were wonderful. Facility could use some updating.

The front desk was nice at check in Paid way too much. Obviously a really old building with minor upgrades (carpet and paint). No usb plugs, tub/shower needs to be replaced. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Very poor quality food. Better quality food for breakfast.

We liked that it was close to the freeway and restaurants /shopping were minutes away. I was charged $10 in case we got any snacks and were told if we didn't it would be refunded to the credit card. We didn't get any but we didn't get the refund.
