    This hotel offered a convenient location, clean rooms and a standard stay for our visit to Dallas. There are minor issues that made me give a 4 instead of a 5 star review. In the shower cubicle, the conditioner and body wash was empty and they didn’t check or replenish it every day. The water pressure was on the low side and on the first day, they replaced the towels but didn’t make the beds. Otherwise, it was a great hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

    This is our 2nd time staying here and it has been amazing both times. Beautiful facilities, meticulously clean rooms and very helpful staff. The location is perfect as well surrounding guests with no shortage of things to do. We will definitely be back!

    It was ok. I don’t travel often and would rather be home, but nothing big to gripe about. The parking thing was pretty stupid and didn’t work very well, and I am annoyed when I am texted to ask if I would like to leave a tip to the valet. Also, they really need to rethink the shower. When you get a sheet of paper with instructions on how to use the shower, something is wrong. I laughed, but then found I had to read the instructions myself to get it to work - really?!

    The front desk in the host were very polite and helpful. The valet was not friendly at all. It was a waste of money for us to be charged without any information. Use garage parking is complementary. The walls were extremely thin. We could hear every single conversation that our neighbor was having. The room was cleaned and extremely dusty.

    Loved the gym and locker room area. Best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Gorgeous lobby and restaurant area. I give 10 stars because my only complaint is a “me” problem. The strong perfume fragrance triggered my reactive airway. I have mild asthma and got a little wheezy. It was uncomfortable to breathe in the lobby and hallways and lingered in my room. I had a cup of coffee and that helped open up my lungs but that is my only complaint. It was like walking through a perfume department at the mall

    The parking is non-existing. The parking garage is located behind the hotel but is not connected to the hotel in anyway. There is no parking on the street— you must park in the garage @ 32.00 a night or valet park for the same. This is highway robbery!!! I don’t think I’ll be choosing this location again.

    What wasn't good: A/C. I had to move rooms after the first night bc the air would not blow cold enough and the nose coming from the fan was annoying. Engineer said some rooms have that noise and others don't so beware. The new room had a very slow draining sink which the mgr offered to fix but I was checking out so... $32 a night for valet. Very limited street parking. Either pay valet or park yourself in the garage for $25 a day. If you leave and come back, that will cost you extra. All dining within walking distance is almost 100% upscale. Translation, EXPENSIVE. After all, it is basically "Jerry World" out there. Finally, while leaving the property, there was a dead rat on the sidewalk.

    The stay was fine - we tend to stay here when we’re in town because it’s close to everything and decently priced. This time we stayed on the 6th floor and the bathroom ceiling looked like they had had a leak and poorly “fixed” it. The bed was comfortable and loved the blackout curtains. Overall it’s still a good stay and will continue to be our place when we come to town.

    1st time staying at a Canopy and I love it! Esthetics, location, some of the food items, the bar, the lovely hallway to the room, bedding soft, room very nice! The beef sliders....the beef looked under cooked and the mini bun it came on was a little hard. That item may need a revamping or offer chicken or veggie sliders. Restaurant ran out of chicken wings...but hey I guess they must have been really good or the go to option.

    The location proximity to The Star, major roadways. Room size was great. Comfortable bed. Check-in was quick. Lack of available free parking. Valet was slow. Hydration station on the 6th floor is not clean and has a vile smell. Room was not cleaned well on check-in. Drawers were definitely skipped by housekeeping as long hairs and debris were found inside. Housekeeping only performed a room clean 1/3 days.     Every single person at the desk and at valet were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was excellent. Valet was super quick and easy to use and all the workers were smiling at all times. Elevators were quick and we never had to wait. My only complaint was the breakfast. $15 for a “buffet” of cold eggs, cold potatoes, soggy pancakes, and a piece of sausage. Just go elsewhere for food. Other than that, this place was perfect.

    Front desk staff was excellent. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Greeted us every time we passed the desk. Daily housekeeping is fantastic. Lots of hotels have moved away from this so it was a luxury to have it at Canopy. Bed was cozy and comfortable and the room layout was sleek and modern. Will definitely stay again

    Parking situation is a hassle. They changed parking to where you are required to either pay valet $30/day or forced to use a parking garage you pay a fee for every time you use it.. you park and stay for an hour? $5, leave to go explore and come back to get ready for dinner? $5, 8+ hrs? Another $25.. much better options for hotels without the parking scam

    The waitress lady (Devan?) at the bar and then the next morning at breakfast didn’t know what she was doing. She struggled with the register and didn’t know her wines very well, When booking the trip I added breakfast for the next morning and the next morning she tried charging us even after the lady at the front desk told her it was already paid for. She obviously was new but needs more training.

    Very pleasant hotel and staff. A quiet boutique hotel for a weekend away with my husband. It was clean and the rooms were very spacious. There is not a pool on site. And the parking is very limited. There is one parking garage. $15 of you self park in there and $30 is you valet. But there is also parallel street parking around the hotel. A little bit of a walk and not too many spaces available. But we didn’t have a problem finding one all weekend. But we also didn’t stay out late. Usually was home around 9pm after dinner.

    There was an issue with the booking. Expedia didn’t send the right information which caused a delay in payment for the hotel. The hotel said that would contact Expedia but they attempted to run my personal debit card until it overdrawn and they would not answer the phone at all after I tried to clear it up. I only found out about the issue when they didn’t email or print me a receipt upon checkout. I felt this was horrible customer service and would never book due to charges debited without my knowledge.

    Our stay at Canopy was excellent! A beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, we love the plant base lotions and shampoo - we would definitely stay again. A few 3 star rating would be for the shower (we were warned but why do complicated?), under chair in room, dirt, baby toy from previous guests, trash and lastly, it feels stuffy in the room even with AC temp at 60.

    From the time you walk into the property until you leave, this is a fantastic Hotel. The Staff was great and friendly and went out of their way to help us. I love the layout of the hotel; there is not much walking to be done inside, as the elevators are right by the check-in desk. You can walk to dinner if you choose since there are many restaurants right there. We were there because my daughter had surgery and they made sure we jnew the easiest way to get to the surgery center the day we left. All the valets were great and took care of my truck with great care. I definitely will be looking for this hotel again if I ever need to stay in Frisco again.

    Front desk, Rudy, was rude. He was not welcoming and seemed put off by asking for a new pillow because the one we had hair all over it. There was a lot of false advertising. The forced valet parking was expensive and they wanted you to pay for it each time you got your car in and out which was ridiculous. They claim to have a “terrace” which is really only a small patio off the front of the hotel. No luxury at all.

    Second-- the "terrace" is a patio off of the front of the hotel. Third-- we had three separate rooms and two of those rooms had someone else's hair on 2 of the queen pillows. Lastly-- it is a cashless hotel, which makes no sense to me for a service company.

    No coffee, no good breakfast, nothing great, holiday inn would have been better than this. Does not justify the price. The male staff at the reception are not that pleasing. Valet is okay, guy in the cafe is good. Nothing is available at a walkable distance.

    The check in was great room was beautiful. Just the room service was very poor. We will stay gone from the room until 4 o’clock in the afternoon in room service had not been there or they would just come and throw towels in there never get the dirties out one time they didn’t even bring me any toilet paper. I had to call downstairs to get the toilet paper and then I had to send my son to go get it because nobody ever brought it up to us

    Different meaning to 'open concept' as the bathroom is open to the entry area with no door on the potty/shower room. There is a barn door separating the entry/bath area from from the bedroom. There was a rail for the potty room door but no door. Only had 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. Bed was too soft and not even (rolled to low spot), Long walk around the hotel to entry from the parking garage.

    No hot water, the AC barely blew… 25 for parking over night and I couldn’t come and go as I pleased. A lot of marks on the walls, pillows are so thin. Leaving the front desk wasn’t too Friendly, young generation it was more hi and bye

    Very clean and check in was quick and friendly. Everything was well-lit which I appreciated as a solo traveller. The ice machine also provided filtered water which I absolutely loved. Definitely would stay again. 10/10 stars.
