The location and the comfort of the bed was exceptional. We had a second floor room, and when we got to it, loaded down with our luggage, neither electronic key card worked. While I stood guard over our luggage, my husband rode the elevator back to the first floor to have the cards fixed. He then rode back up, only to find one card working. Also, what happened to the usual coffee pots in the room? That is a big perk for us. The complementary shower caps? The little extras that we relied on during our Holiday Inn visits? We paid far more for his room than our past Holiday Inn stays, and it was stripped down of these complementary items. If this is the new way of Holiday Inn, we’ll probably start seeking out other hotels.

The bed was amazing! Most comfortable bed in any hotel I’ve ever been.

Location Noise. We got put on the bottom floor under a room full of elephants. Stomping all hours of the night. People slamming doors at the end of the hall coming in and out.

The staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast was well supplied, including better tasting coffee than most hotel free breakfast bars. The location was lovely, with direct access to the Germantown Greenway, a paved walking path along by the Wolf River. We enjoyed a morning walk before checking out. We will stay here again.

First and foremost let’s start with Expedia. When booking a room Expedia give you the option to pay now or at the desk. So I ask to pay at desk when I arrived. I arrived to the hotel and they told me that the room was cancelled because they withdraw the money out and it didn’t go through. I told the clerk that I arranged to pay at the desk when not arrive but Expedia tried to withdraw before that. So I had to re-book at the hotel which cost me more money. Once I got situated the next day the manager was complaining about how my child was a minor (by the way he is 20 years old) and he couldn’t stay down by the lobby by himself and he can’t come and get breakfast by himself because he was under age. So I was like he 20 not 5! They made a big ordeal because it so I ask for my refund for the next day since they was making an issue about my son being by his self getting food. So I ask the manager was he causing trouble and he said no he wasn’t but he couldn’t be down In The lobby alone since he was a minor. I felt they was being racist because you they act like he was causing trouble but he wasn’t. I just left I and I will not be returning to another holiday inn nor will I booked through Expedia

This one didn’t quite meet the standard expected at a Holiday Inn Express. It was just average. Lots of noise from the hall and neighbors. Unfortunately, I stayed the night after a long ultra running race, and the elevator was brokedown. Hobbling down from the 3rd floor wasn’t great. I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

This property as a whole did not feel safe to me. I had an alley of sorts created by the structure of the building and I was at the deep end of that alley. I had a creeper outside my window. There was a 2" gap under my door so I had to use a rolled up towel to dampen noise. Safety still a major concern. There were patched walls that they didn't even try to make look cohesive with the rest of the wall. The headboard was falling apart. It's in an area that backs up to a green space pocket on the edge of Germantown. I do not recommend and will not be staying here again.

The third floor had stale air. The first room I was assigned, the AC didn’t actually get cold to clear it up, there wasn’t a room phone, there was hair embedded in a washcloth that made me feel everything was “dirty” and there were stinkbugs in the window, inside the room. I was changed to another room that I felt was clean. There were no bugs in this room and the AC worked great. Also, the first time I arrived, the woman at the counter assumed I was there to fill out a job application instead of potentially staying there. The room served its purpose for a night. I wouldn’t choose this location again.

Breakfast was great! The coffee machine was exceptional! My husband loves the pancake machine ! Close to the hospital and great restaurants! I know there’s pillow options but the firm to me needs to be more supportive .

We liked the quiet and safe location. The adjacent walking trail is a hidden benefit!

The room was clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient and a lot nearby. Trail behind hotel was decent. Hotel gym was 3 machines in a tiny room, pool was very small. Vending machines room on 1st I think didn’t have any vending machines.

Location is great, next to a park, very quiet. Shopping and restaurants close enough. I would stay here again.

Nothing outstanding

We were in town for a family picnic. It was a horrible stay. The air conditioner did not want in the first room. We were moved to another room and only the fan setting worked. The pancake machine didn't work. The mandarins were black and brown. The food was luke warm. I will resume booking with Marriott for future stays.

By far the best Holiday Inn Express we've ever stayed at. We stay at them everywhere we go. Carpet is dated and dirty.

Good quiet stay. Housekeeping forgot to service our room once but still recommend.

The breakfast was exquisite with much variety. The dining area was clean. Only complaint is the fee sheet for missing items without a checklist upon arrival so hotel staff and consumer both agree everything there upon entry and departure. That was uncomfortable.

It was fine. I prefer beds not to be as high as this one and the heating system was loud whenever the fan came on.

Over all the stay was great, the only u complaint I have is they were stingy on their towels. There were only two bath towels in the room. Wife had nothing dry to wrap around her hair.

Rick, the manager, was so helpful! We were in town for my dad’s memorial service. We had 3 rooms with folks coming in and leaving on different days. He made it a breeze and handled everything with a smile!

Day clerk was not real friendly. One of the first things brought to our attention was a printed card stating the cost of replacing stolen items from our room. Breakfast wasn't good. Tasted like a frozen omelette warmed. Limited snacks. Scratchy thin towels (total of 2 bath towels). Cleaning person knocked and opened our door at 7am even though there was a do not disturb sign on the outside handle.

The housekeeping staff were amazing along with those who worked in the dining room. The evening staff was amazing the morning staff was the exact opposite. The woman on staff didn’t have a badge; she was very dismissive Unaccomodating, lack of manners, no hospitality whatsoever. She seemed very bothered of hosting guests. She talks at people. Our door had water damage and it appeared to be chewed out by something. Bread was molded, milk was spoiled. Room smelled like a moldy basement. They are low on towels and couldn’t accommodate the towels required for number of guests. Overall unacceptable for the price I’ve experienced better accommodations at a lesser price point.

Overall very good but could improve a couple of things. Our sheets would not stay on the bed!! Turn over once or twice and it’s all bunched under you. Breakfast was just ok - several things not filled, pancake maker didn’t work and no coffee choices.

What I liked best was the general manager--Rick or Marty I believe. He lent me his phone charger and he checked me in for my flight the next day and printed my boarding passes. I thought this was really fabulous.

This hotel exceeded expectations. We love holiday inns and are loyal customers. We could not have gotten a FRIENDLIER front desk host to greet us.

Easy Access to Agricenter

We enjoyed our stay here. The facility appears to have recently been updated. There are a few rough edges to be finished, but overall, it is in good shape. It is extremely well-lit and uses indirect lighting in the halls and rooms. Good breakfast. The staff treated us well. The only problem was that the AC in our room was noisy enough to make sleeping a challenge. It may have just been our particular unit and not typical of the remainder of the facility.

We were locked out of our room, after just going downstairs for breakfast, due to the card reader going bad. We had to wait for Pop A Lock to come out and break into the room where ALL of our belongings were, including car keys and phones. Luckily they were close, as we were told that sometimes they are hours away. We were told this was a regular occurrence, that the locks had "factory defects". Other members of our group (in a different room) had to leave to meet time constraints, while we missed our 10:00 meeting all together. We were not offered any discount or refund - but we did receive a free bottled water and a small bag of chips for our troubles.

It is a very nice and clean place. Rooms are spacious and feel a lot like my second bedroom at home.I felt very comfortable. The breakfast was not fantastic but better than good.I really liked this place. I slept well and left with a satisfied mind!

We’d driven all day on our way to visit family in Murfreesboro. This was a great spot to land at the end of the day. After a good breakfast, we headed out!

Stayed at this hotel before and remembered it was a decent one but, with the recent updates, it is looking nicer and cleaner. Stayed one night and everything went perfectly.

Picked this hotel for its location close to the activities we wanted to do. Service was very friendly. Swimming pool was disappointing, dirty and not heated. Breakfast was also disappointed as it seemed they were out of all the hot food and so chooses were cereal or a bagel. Overall a dissent choice but lacking for the money we spent.

Josh, who checked us in and we saw a few times working the front desk, was very helpful and friendly. We booked a king suite through hotels.com and, when checking in, found out that hotels.com sent them our reservation as a different type of room. Josh was able to resolve that and get us the needed room type. The room was comfortable and newly renovated. Other staff members were very friendly and greeted us when we got breakfast. We appreciated the abundant lighting in the hotel parking lot, which made us feel safer; the hotel is set back off a major road and is very quiet.

We were looking for a hotel that was close to a training we were in town for … the hotel the training was at had horrible reviews … we found this wonderful place!! First I must mention the beds - they are SO SO amazing!! Comfort level of the mattress, the sheets and the pillows are are 10 out of 10!! The whole hotel is extremely clean. The water pressure is perfect. The bathtub DRAINED! We are going to let our customer know they need to move future trainings here - either way though, this is where I will be staying when I am in town! Can not recommend this place highly enough!

I asked for extra towels since we had 4 people staying in our room. I was told that I would have to wait until our room was cleaned the next day and our used towels would be replaced. So my husband and I had to share a towel. Then our room never was cleaned so towels were never replaced.

I experienced only one issue. The towels were the roughest I've ever felt and they were also thin. But other than that, great hotel and staff. I would come again.
