The staff, and particularly Shamika, were very helpful in answering questions and fulfilling our requests. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were cheerful and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable with the amenities we needed.

Very clean room, excellent air conditioning on the very hot day felt amazing. The free breakfast was very well stocked and was better than most. Above all, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Front desk personnel could have been much more aware at check-in. Rooms were very clean. It seems to me that one of the most important areas to clean, easiest to maintain, and most often overlooked is the elevator. CLEAN THE INTERIOR OF THE ELEVATOR CARS!

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming. She was very professional. I could tell they take pride in their work when she cleaned up the coffee area before placing the coffee urn back in it's spot. Our room was clean and spacious. It was annoying how the bathroom light was on the outside near the sink. But it couldn't be placed on the inside of the bathroom because of the shower wall. The curtains also did not close all the way, so there was a sliver of light peeking through. The beds were not very comfortable, but we slept fine. The breakfast in the morning was great! The staff was friendly and helped problem solve when there were no more bowls. In case youre like me and like to know what was there, they had real scrambled eggs, bacon, tortillas, a salsa bar, potatoes, make your own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, hard boiled eggs, and fruit. If we are ever in the Germantown/Memphis area again, we will stay here. The area felt safe, the grounds were well kept, and grocery stores and restsurants were nearby.

The area is still being affected by the ice and snow causing the event to be rescheduled for April and they would not transfer my reservation or give a discount on a later date so it was as if I just lit my money on fire. Will not be booking here for any future visits.

I always look forward to staying at a Hilton hotel. This stay was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I only gave three stars because the internet/cable was bad in the room. Maintenance informed me that they couldn’t not fix it due to issues when the hotel was remodeled. In addition the curtains would not close all the way which is an issue for me because I like to close my curtains all the way.

The rooms, while somewhat dated, were extremely clean. The standout, however, is the staff. From the front desk to the breakfast team, they are incredible. Friendly, hardworking, and looking out to make sure the customers have a positive and comfortable experience. Extra mention is the breakfast each morning. It is not your standard 'free hotel breakfast'. Overnight oats, chia puddings, breakfast burrito station...incredible! Would highly recommend this location when staying in Germantown.

We are still here in the lobby waiting even tho our room is PAID. Ask to see if we can just try later and this worker was very rude, full of attitude and was very condescending. She was a heavy set African American lady with short hair I don’t remember her name. She was just immediately responding with attitude where it was definitely NOT necessary! She should not be the person you have helping people cuz she’s not very good at it. The other young lady there was very nice and professional. Other than that AWFUL Check in experience the room was very nice, spacious, clean and in a very nice area. We would consider coming back to this hotel again because it was so nice but I’m not sure because of the worker. This is the first time we have encountered a rude worker! We travel a lot due to travel sports and this is def the first neg experience.

Would stay here again. Comfortable room size, friendly staff, nice towels, comfy bed, convenient location, allowed our larger dogs to stay and breakfast service had a nice variety. Cons are that the rooms seem a little dated but felt the value for the price was very good. We were traveling to see family for the holidays. Staff went out of their way to get us two rooms next to each other which was much appreciated.

Hotel a little outdated. Stayed for 3 nights and had no cleaning service. We were told we had to ask for room cleaning, but it wasn't written or told to us.

My stay was horrible from start to finish. The furniture was old and filthy, with broken, unsafe chairs that could cause someone to fall. The carpets were ripped and worn out, adding to the overall shabby condition of the room. Even though it was a non-smoking hotel, the room smelled awful from previous guests. The bed sheets were dirty, and many of the power outlets didn’t work. The pool was closed, and the doors were dirty. To top it off, the ironing board was disgusting. The only good thing about this place was the neighborhood. I would never stay here again.

Room was dirty (I found a pair of socks from a previous guest so obviously they don't vacuum). Elevator was broken for two days. I asked them to make up the room but they didn't leave more toilette paper. Front desk person was of little help.

The fire alarm went off 6 times today from 330am until 600am.

I can't speak for the entire place, but our room hasn't been updated or touched up in a while. That isn’t a big thing, but the furniture is worn considerably, paint is chipping from almost everything, and even the pieces on the corners of walls are just falling off. Mold or mildew is on the inside of the bathroom door. We aren't picky people, but we did pay more for this place and I feel we could have stayed somewhere cheaper and it been cleaner. We really wanted this place because it seemed like a safe area. We finally got our kids settled and fell asleep. At 3 am a fire alarm goes off. Thats fine. No fire. We bring our 2 shaken up and very awake kids back in and get them settled. Another alarm. We dress again and go back out. This happened a total of 5 times between 3am and 6:30 am. I'm hoping the breakfast will be redeeming but my husband said it is not. The pool was fine.

The room was outdated. We stayed in room 201. The pocket door to the bedroom didn't slide easily. The living room furniture looked like it was there from 2000. The sheer curtains could still be seen after the room darkening curtains were closed. Breakfast wasn't edible. They nuked the eggs. Breakfast is served from.6-9. When you're on vacation, the last thing you want to do is get up and run down for breakfast. The fitness center was 3 old pieces of cardio. I was able to get a guest pass to a local gym. Stay elsewhere.

We were in the area of this Homewood Suites for just a day and a half. It is our custom to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel out of town because the facilities provide us comforts and conveniences that we don't at other competing hotels. Generally the Homewood Suites we've stayed at around the nation are outstanding in terms of their amenities and so forth. Unfortunantely, this Homewood Suites, despite the great customer service we received, was lacking in terms of upkeep and amenities. The carpet was terribly in a state of disrepair. The kitchen amenities were so sparse that the two of us had to improvise just to have utensils to cook and eat with. Only two chairs in the room. One of those chairs was an office/desk chair. The place served its purpose. Nothing was a show stopper. It's just not a place we would return to in the future.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and had several options. The area felt very safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling.

We agreed this is our favorite hotel to stay in Germantown. Easy check in, lovely room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, great price. We loved the layout suite with the separate living area. We would highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when traveling home from Arkansas.

The hotel was fine. Howver, when we tried to check-in, we were told Orbitz cancelled our reservation. I said "that can't be right, they took my money." However; that was indeed the case. So, if you do not call me, i will be reaching out to get my money back. You should call me.

The staff was amazing! Very customer service oriented. If I was only scoring based on that, it would be 5 stars. The property appeared nice and the surrounding area was beautiful. However, the room left a lot to be desired. Couch was so dirty the arms were blackened. The table in the room had chipped wood, and the chair had worn/missing leather. Tub was chipped in multiple places, and the dispensers weren’t wiped down. A few upgrades to this hotel could easily get it back to a great place. Not the worse, but certainly not the best!

My son is allergic to cats and dogs. He immediately began coughing upon entering the hotel room. I asked to know if there was a way to know what animals were in the room. They do not keep that information. There used to be animals allowed only on the 1st floor, now it is a free for all. We will never go back to homewood suites due to the pet policy!

The front desk staff were very professional, friendly and accommodated my family with late checkout without question. The pool was clean and perfect for small kids. The breakfast was really good and it was nice that breakfast had different options the second morning. The rooms were clean as always as a Hilton rewards member.

The breakfast was good. Lobby appeared clean and they were making a lot of effort to sanitize the area. The room definitely was lacking. The sofa had visible stains on it and the small accent table was broken. The bathroom did appear clean however This is a well worn property that could definitely use some good cleaning. It met our needs, but I do not plan to stay there again when returning to Memphis. Front desk staff was very friendly which was a plus.

Good/safe part of Memphis, plenty of dining options. Hotel was nice, staff was great. Rooms could use an update, not horrible, but not great. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fan in bedroom was nice, bathroom needed a fan to help with steam. Newer faucets/handles/finishes gave the appearance of updates, but needs overall renovation to be great.

I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times and never had a problem until this stay. My car was one of about a dozen that had the window broken out and things stolen. Luckily, my husband was able to immediately take it to a glass place and have it replaced before we went home. The hotel is in a nice area and is clean, comfortable, and quiet, but apparently these break ins are happening more and more frequently.

Lobby very clean. Room needed a better cleaning. Stuff on bathroom walls and outside of fridge in our room had prints all over. I just think the individual room cleaning could be better. Bathroom needed a little maintenance work.

Very underwhelmed. Service was pretty terrible. There was a man trying to check in and front desks staff were less than helpful. They didn’t have a way to check his reservation since their system was “down”. There was no paper version of reservation? They didn’t know how many clean rooms they had? Although the largest area of concern was that, the room was very worn. I’ll attach pictures.

This was an overnight stay on our way back home. We were looking for a comfortable, safe place to stay. Everything was great! However, they could improve on the breakfast. Other than that, we had no complaints.

Property is pretty clean and maintained. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. The major thing I didnt like about it was the showers are very slippery, no grips on the tubs floor. When i called front desk and asked if they had a shower mat, explained my child and myself had slipped and almost fell, they were very dismissive, said they didnt have anything for the shower and hung up

We were desperate for a place to stay after enduring a hotel from h*ll situation following an ice storm that took out our power. They took us in and our dog. Day after day when the power hadn’t been restored to our home they extended our stay!!!! The room was wonderful, breakfast was great and the staff was utterly amazing!!! So grateful for everything and having such a wonderful place to stay in a time of crisis and stress.

The common areas and breakfast were fantastic and clean. The staff was very friendly as well. However, our room was awfully dirty and wreaked of marijuana. There was a cigarette burn on the top comforter of the bed, and all of the other furniture in the living room was very dirty/stained.

When we arrived, the hotel required are card (standard, I know), to check in and have on file. They charged us again for our stay! This has truly put us in a bind when trying to have a weekend trip with our five children. Mind, this is a suite price we were charged for twice. Additionally, we discovered a broken belt that was ATTACHED to part of one of the beds. Obviously, the hotel has no control over what people do in the rooms… but they surely are supposed to get rid of any swarmy remnants!

The staff was excellent and everybody was friendly. The only thing wrong was our bathroom toilet wouldn't flush and we had to switch to a different room in the middle of the night.

I chose this hotel because of the pool and basketball court- I call before making my reservation and was told the court and swimming pool was open- get there the court did have a goal and they closed the pool because it looked as if it was going to rain- so I only stayed the 1 night I have a 2 night stay- a waste of my money! Take the basketball court off your Advertisement

Staff kind of smirked at each other when they assigned our room. It was all by itself and right by where people walked in and out at all hours. Room was dirty. BB court in picture not accurate. Just two poles. Very disappointed especially since it was rated well and we paid way too much. Will never stay at this location again.
