It’s really old, not clean, showers need bleach. Do not stay unless you don’t care about cleanliness and just want cheap. Wear slippers while walking on floor. Check your bedding.

Biggest issue was the state of our room. Lots of stains on sheets and bed covers. The bottom of the bathroom door was falling apart, painted shower drain coming off and mold on caulking and ceiling in the bathroom. Pretty gross stuff. Needs a full makeover. No excuse for the sheets. Get rid of them when they are stained.

Rooms were dirty and found roaches. Looked like mold in the bathroom, ceilings were cracked. Sheets had stains and the pull out couch bed was nasty. Pool water was green and not able to see the bottom.

This hotel is HORRIBLE! Every where you walked it smelled like Weed. The water in the pool was filthy. The room was falling apart. The floor in the room sunk in the middle. The pillow cases on one of the beds were dirty. The breakfast and checking out were the only good things about the hotel. I will NEVER stay here again, NEVER! I would rather sleep in my pickup truck!

There were ants on the bed, night stand and walls and the floor was caving in.. you can trip the floor has such a bad cave.. hotel needs to be closed.

A large roach crawled into the shower while I was in the shower. The sheets were stained and felt like they had dirt on them. I had to take the sheets off and use my own blanket. I selected the hotel due to the location, the price and the fact that they provided breakfast. However, I ended up spending more due to the breakfast and had to sleep on my own blankets. I was not satisfied with the accommodations.

Room door partially separated from top hinge by loose screws. Had to lift up on door handle for door to square up to fit into the doorjamb when arriving- leaving. Floors dirty. Feet and socks dark with dirt after walking from bedroom into bathroom and back. Toilet seat visibly dirty. Pool very cloudy so couldn’t see bottom and walls.

nothing we had a horrible experience there was a roach in the bathroom we left it on the towel so when we got back they got our dirty towels and they left the roach on the floor so I know they did not sweep or vacuum, the second day I asked them to give us clean towels and change the sheets on my bed and they didn't I had to ask them twice, our key kept getting deactivated we had to go up to the desk everytime we came back the had to reactivate our key

Location is great. Tooms are old wprn holes in floor, hipa miaaong from tub monimal shampoo amd conditooner. Lights not working, very exprnsive rate for poor room condition. Outfoo lock to pool not working, very unsecurre facility.

No and No the hotel was full of roaches. We played musical rooms and ended up in a room that cost less than what we booked but wasn’t refunded the difference. Everything was extremely dated.

Bathroom and room did not look cleaned very well. Service did put new towels did not make beds. A/C had bad cord looked burnt had to manipulate plug connection a bit for it to work. Lobby and Breakfast area was clean and prepaired each morning on time. Price was very cheap so it is what it is. Worked for my work trip. A little cleaning and maintenance in room and it would be 4 stars for the money.

I’ve rated this hotel before. It is starting to feel a bit run down. But they do have a decent breakfast, good tv, nice big refrigerator and microwave along with in room coffee. The location at the price cannot be beat!

For the price and location, it can’t be beat. I used to live in Germantown and this hotel was built in the mid to late 1980s. She’s been renovated with hardwood floors and fresh paint but those renovations are starting to show their age. The tubs and showers are showing their age. Sometimes the pool is open and sometimes not. The breakfast area is small with standard fare. The owners are price busting at this location but to do so the maintenance is starting to suffer. Fresh plants and landscaping won’t hide the fading paint. The staff is good.

Building is structurally unsoundThe upper floors are drastically sagging under their own weight. With the ceiling above cracked and sagging from the floor above. The fire alarm had no batteries. The room doors did not self close and latch. The toilet leaked. The toilet lid was held together by tape. The floors were not even swept, when cleaning water from the floor when we checked in turned the town brown from the dirt. The remote did not work. There was no hot water. When I tried to speak with the desk about it. I was told “ I am sorry, they are aware of the problems and the place needs to close down to make repairs, but they won’t.do it. It is not just unsatisfactory, it’s unsafe. The building inspector or fire marshal would close this place down if they were aware of the issues.

I was not able to stay here because the bathroom was in terrible condition. Nothing had been cleaned, and the fixtures were not in usable condition.The enamel was chipped away and rusted over all around the tub drain. It would not have passed inspection and should not be rented out without first being repaired. Staff offered to clean it, but the hotel was full and not able to offer me an equivalent room.

Needs to be upgraded some. The reason we chose this place was it is near the arena and they said the pool was in good shape! I called they confirmed pool was in working order. The heater did not work and the water was ice cold.

The fronr desk clerks were good. My TV didnt work. The shower appeared moldy or mildewed. The jacuzzi was cracked and peeling.the caulking appeared 20 + years old. The floor slanted downward. The one highlight, the indoor pool, was closed. The free breakfast wasnt that good. Bug free. Will never satay there again.

Supply working TV, coffee pot, & hair. dryer. Fix pool, make sure hot water is running enough for showers and baths.

Front desk clerk was very kind and helpful

Hot water was limited to one quick shower. The indoor pool was closed so my granddaughter did not stay with me. The TV had fuzzy horizontal strips across the picture. The in room coffee maker did not work. I wouldn’t ask for another one because I had already asked for a hair dryer. Just too much work to stay here.

It was decent enough but no frills or extras. Sheets were clean. Door lock worked.

For the price, this is an excellent value. It is an older hotel with dated bathrooms but beds are clean and staff was nice. It is across from Perkins, Chik Fil A, and a Starbucks and close to many areas for shopping and eating in Germantown.

There is a small indoor pool. I failed to bring a swim suit. The rooms are small and the king size bed sagged in the middle. The floor is uneven and vanity mirror flashes so don’t try to use it. The TV is anolog not digital and there is no option for connecting to your Netflix or other streaming service. So, you may want to bring your Roko device . The price and staff made the stay. But after going downtown I think Memphis is safer than the reviews made it seem. I would visit Memphis again and may stay at the Comfort.

The first room I had, the tub was worn.. chipped paint in the tub, mats in the tub to cover the bottom of the tub and the shower was cold. Asked for another room. The tub was better and shower was hot but the room had bugs and ants..they came out in the middle of the night so you won’t see them right away, made my flesh crawl, it was not worth a $300 plus stay for two nights. The towels were dirty. I didn’t try the breakfast because my room had bugs so I wouldn’t expect the food environment to be any cleaner. Would not recommend and would not be returning.

I did give a high rating because we've stayed in several hotels in Memphis in this price range and this was the best one yet. Also, the indoor pool was open, all the others we've stayed at have been closed.

Mildew in the shower and in the AC unit.

The lady at check in was very friendly and nice. The doorways are hard to get the carts thru. The room was dirty. There was hair in the tub, walls had gunk on them, and ceiling had spots. I spilt a little water in the floor between the beds. When I got a towel to clean up the water, the towel was very filthy after cleaning up.

The bed was broken and the shower had no hot water. When I told the desk about it, they said they’d fix it, but what they actually did was go into my room while I was not there and didn’t know. They “fixed” the bed but didn’t fix the hot water. When I asked if they went into my room without my knowledge they said yes like it wasn’t a big deal. They also told me they could comp me 2 nights but then when I checked out told me there was nothing they could do.

I moved to 3 different rooms, first the toilet didn't flush, second the door did not open, and third the king bed mattress was deeply sunken in the middle. I stayed in that room because I was tired of moving.

There were so many issues, we decided to leave after 30 minutes. You could say it felt like home because nothing worked. TV remote held together with electrical tape, AC had limited power, and the plumbing was horrible. At least check in was easy

There was a live roach in the bath tub and a hair in the corner of the bed upon arrival. I advised the lady at the desk and she just shook her head and said that they had sprayed a couple of days ago. That's it. Nothing else. There was a strong odor coming from a couple of the rooms and it enveloped the hall creating an uncomfortable and nauseating feeling when entering and existing the room. The location was great.

I asked for a room change twice before accepting room # three. I was still dissatisfied, however, it was better than the first two. It wasn't clean. The towels are super thin and cheap. I had back pain from sleeping on the bed. The shower drained extremely slowly, so the water collects to where your feet are in a pool of water. We all wore shower shoes, said a prayer, and got in and out! The toilet also flushed slowly. You had to flush several times just to get the tissue down. I told the kids to only do number one here. This hotel/motel needs major updating.

It was clean and it was just a trip to take care of some business the service was good!

First impression when you walk into the hotel/lobby is a weird odor coming from somewhere. Room was not impressive, walking barefoot on the floor had my feet black because the floor was so dirty. Kept finding random hairs throughout the room/bathroom. It was not a pleasant stay, will not be staying again and will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

The area is beautiful! This hotel is a 0 - 1 star hotel. EXTREMELY DIRTY! The rooms & hotel is filthy, and smells TERRIBLE ! We had 3 nights booked and left after the 1st night. (We would have never stayed the 1st, except we didn’t arrive until after 1am. ~ Expedia did issue a credit for our remaining nights)

This is supposed to be one of the better areas of Memphis, Germantown, Tn. this hotel is need of a total renovation. REAS THE REVIEWS... The only positive was the lady staff at the front desk, She was nice. I normally don't take the time to offer a review, BUT !!

Loved the touch mirror. Face towels was a little dingy. Inside toilet not a good appearance. Some spots on the floor by the bed wasnt cleaned. No ironing board but had an iron.

Room 222 door had such a gap we did not feel safe; floor near bed was so uneven we almost fell; commode tank so loose we thought it was going to fall over; king bed mattress was so bad we ended up sunk in the middle

Absolute shiit hole!!! Stayed here with a large group for 2 nights. Reserved 10 rooms. More problems than I can even name but to name a few 1. The floor in the rooms are sinking in so bad you can hardly walk on it without losing your balance. Feels like you’re going to fall through to the floor below. So bad the furniture is even leaning. 2. Toilets don’t work. Had to take the back off and lift the bar up in the back of the tank to flush. 3. Constant power surges causing the lights to flicker repeatedly. 4. 3 of the rooms smelled of mold/mildew so bad air freshener wouldn’t help. 5. Entire 2nd floor smelled like weed. Great setting for a group of students! Notified front desk about multiple different issues and nothing was done. Definitely a rip off at $120 a night!

Had to contact front desk to get a blanket, no blanket or the comforter on the bed, enough hot water for one shower, ran out of hot water at the end, room phone was non functional, the floor was peeling the vinyl layer of the LVP, was not able to power off AC to eliminate the noise, no toaster in the breakfast, dried up oatmeal pot!. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi had excellent speed, fridge and microwave worked fine.

The key card wouldn’t let me in the room I had to try it 5 time Friday night. Saturday morning when I came back from my 5k race the key card showed red I had to take it to the front desk to get the key card reprogrammed. In the bathroom the hot water was more like lukewarm. Really all need was a bed to sleep in for Friday night.

Towels were stained, bathtub had huge cracks in the bottom and had to stand on a kitchen mat. Hallways smelled like marijuana every time we left the room. In the middle of the night both nights we stayed there were arguments out in the hallway that woke us up. Lamp beside my bed did not work.

There was an indoor pool and breakfast, that was nice. But the restroom in my room had a broken toilet that flooded everything. The staff also never cleaned or made the bed or anything like that while I was there, I've had better experiences at cheaper motels. The images on their advertisement also don't match anything on the actual property.

The overall facility is in need of updating doors, walls, paint not fixed after putting new beds in the rooms. Front desk charged me more for an additional night stay than we paid for first night online and claimed that was discounted price. A few people appear to be living there with pets. Mysterious uncovered container of gravy or oatmeal on buffet looked unsafe.

The hotel is overpriced and over rated. Everything is dirty, or not working. The entire property is terrible and we felt unsafe to the point we couldn’t stayed for the entire time we planned. Don’t go there!! Awful experience.

This place is in a decent area of town considering the city and self has a bad rap. This area was a good area and safe area but the location of this hotel the street is under construction and I think the hotel itself is under construction although I couldn’t really tell Room smelled like Indian food I enjoy Indian food, but I don’t want to smell it all the time. This was obviously a place that a lot of crackheads come to I believe due to the price. My room was next to a group full of them and you could hear them screaming and arguing all night, even even if it is undergoing a facelift, I would still never stay here again. I felt safe in the area, but not safe in the hotel.

Check in the guy was rude and made rude snotty comments about my son and being disruptive and destructive. First off my son wasn’t going anything wrong..he’s a 6 year old boy that has ADHD and Autism. I had to tell him to use his indoor voice once. But when people don’t know disabilities they say ignorant things. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in ever!!!! From the BO smell to the dirty rooms, black mold all over the bathroom, bug traps hanging from the ceiling, burn holes in the king bed sheets, blood on the sheets of the pull out bed. Refused to get us extra blankets as needed. Had 4 people in room and 2 towels 2 wash clothes. Went to get more and would only give us 2 towels no extra wash clothes. Because of the black mold that I realized the next morning it affected my asthma, and my son is now sick from it. We checked out early and cut our trip short. Never again will I stay at this hotel when coming to Memphis

One evening, it was late, my wife and I were enquiring of the staff as to where to eat - in the surrounding area. One of the staff members offered us some surplus burgers and salad which had been prepared for construction workers staying at the hotel. We were ever so grateful for the offer and her enormous generosity.

Musky smell. Another motel run by indians who have not maintained but because of location attracts the customers. The carpet is filthy, the base of refrigerator is rusted. The sheets are not changed and the bathroom faucets don't work. I had an emergency and had to stay here and I thanked God I left without an incident. Door locks are jammed. This is a classic money laundering place for the owner.

We will never stay here again. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the floor is wavy and feels unsafe. The entire place was dirty. Like nasty dirty. Although we didn’t see bugs. It doesnt seem secure. Some people came from the parking lot to grab breakfast one morning and left. Random people were swimming with us and then just left out of the back door like they just live locally and use the pool as their personal pool. The pool room was never locked and doesn’t seem to have good ventilation. The bed sheets were stained. We had to change rooms because the shower in our first room would not drain and the floors were slippery and gross. The floor turned all of our socks Black. The front desk tried to make it right and gave us another room that was better but also not great. Overall great location but needs renovations!

Construction over the entrance

Main concern was their rooms were very dirty. Bathroom had some kind of mold on the ceiling; stains on the floor, hair on the toilet that wasn’t ours. Sheets had stains on them, pillows had stains on them; curtain was torn; splatter stain on the lamp shade. Floors had a film on them and we were greeted with a strong stench of cleaner, as if they just cleaned it and we checked in at 12:00 am. You get what you pay for.

Pool needs attention. Floor in our room was sticky and the bathroom door scrapes on the floor. Hallway carpet needs to be cleaned and maintenance is needed everywhere. Choice hotels seem to lacking badly compared to what they used to be. Shame

Room 224 should be condemned. The floor is not even, slopes to the middle, door to the hallway has a two inch gap at the bottom. We were told when we checked out that there are two rooms like that. They should not be renting them. The whole place needs a remodel.

Price was right and in a good area.
