Reviews
The hotel receives generally positive reviews for its spacious rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location close to attractions. Guests also appreciate the variety of activities available on the grounds, including a pool, fire pits, and pickleball courts. However, some guests have issues with noise, particularly from the pickleball court, and a few find the bed pillows uncomfortable.
- Spacious rooms
- Friendly staff and excellent customer service

Nice bike rental Staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel basically comprises multiple motel, er “lodge” buildings. Ours needed a sweeping out front. Our room was clean when we arrived, but was never cleaned during our 4-night stay. Apparently they only clean rooms after you leave :/ I guess that’s ok, but the towel service was poor. The least they could do is swap out your towels everyday with fresh. I had to go to the lobby to ask for new towels and what to do with the used ones. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay. It’s a short walk to the Glenwood Hot Springs resorts and the historic downtown with shops and restaurants. Of the motels close to downtown, it looks like best one.

Luv this place! Has something for e!
- 5/5
Our second time there and a early checkin room was available. Very pet friendly. Breakfast could have more bread options, but a nice pricey location near springs.
- 4/5
Breakfast was inadequate for the amount of people using it. They ran out of eggs and coffee. And the dining area was too small for the volume of guests eating breakfast. Rooms were outside entry.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and lots to do. The breakfast was awesome.
- 4/5
The location was fantastic with quick access to great food, hikes, and adventures. The staff was great, the property was beautiful and clean, and the amenities were excellent. However, the bed mattress in my room was horribly uncomfortable, and I'm not even that picky! The sheets, blankets, and pillows were also not nice. Everything was incredibly thin and scratchy. I wanted to love this place, but I just didnt rest well at night, and that was the main point of the stay!
- 3/5
Walking distance to town
- 5/5
Everything was absolutely fantastic.
- 5/5
The front desk staff, particularly Andrew, was very friendly, helpful and professional! We always come back to this hotel because it is quiet, laid back, and we really like the firepits, pool and hot tub, and outdoor games. The location makes it walkable to everything is Glenwood.

Check in was great Mark tried really hard to get us a room where we wanted it. Room was clean ac worked good, shower was hot, bed comfortable, shampoo and body wash lathered really well. Having a double sink was also nice . There was no noise from the interstate. Hot breakfast and coffee was great. There where things to do for entertan disc golf, volleyball, corn hole, pool, hot tub that we did not use. Would definitely stay there again.

A $10 charge for onsite parking was not disclosed when booking online and only waived after my complaint that this was state law
- 5/5
Awesome awesome place! Staff was very kind and friendly. Location is perfect. Room was clean and bathroom was updated and very spacious.
- 3.5/5
We went for breakfast at 9 AM and they were not refilling anything, like potato/hash browns were missing where they serve breakfast 10 AM .
- 1/5
Awful
- 5/5
The pool is always a plus was some thing's on top floating so ,but we went in am,next day was better, all the staff was s upwr friendly and they seemed to want to make customers happy and maintain the place
- 5/5
Property was great! Well maintained and pet friendly. Even though it was pet friendly never heard noise from a pet once. The quietest stay at a hotel we have ever had. Close to many atttractions!
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good breakfast, great for families since there is a playground and pool/hot tub. The location is excellent and you can walk to the main area and hot springs. Staff was friendly and helpful. They also have smart TVs which is really nice! I wish the pool was heated. If it was, we’d come in the winter to stay was well.
- 2.5/5
The place is tired. The sofa in the room was so broken we couldn't sit on it. Rooms need paint. Tub is hard to get in and out of. The buffet was incomplete lots of missing items. Toaster broken. Buy dinner plates not 4" side plates. The staff was very nice. The pool, fire pits, and playground was nice.
- 3.5/5
The location, facilities, and staff were great. Great location with friendly helpful staff. We needed a wheelchair accessible room and it was spacious with 2 bathrooms... One handicap accessible. The breakfast was disappointing because if you have diabetic issues you can't eat here. There were no meat options. I asked where the meat was and was told it was in the gravy.... As in biscuits and gravy. They did have scrambled eggs but horribly undercooked and gross tasting. We needed a wheelchair accessible room and it was very good except the entry to the bathroom had a weird raised lip and for someone with difficulty using their legs and a walker it was almost dangerous. The shower area was nice and large, but the shower made the floor very slick and we needed to place towels on the floor for traction.
- 5/5
We love this hotel! The staff is great, the breakfast is really good, the room is very comfortable. We love staying here! I wish there were elevators for the second floor. Taking luggage down by stairs is difficult.

Love all the extras they provide. Our family enjoyed playing cornhole together and then making s’mores at the fire pits in the evening. It’s a great location to downtown Glenwood, but also peaceful and quite like you’re further away from everything. Nothing, everything was great!
- 5/5
The room was nice, good sized and comfortable. The breakfast was always good, variety, hot items, waffles, yoghurt, muffins, juices, etc. Amenities were great- pool, hot tub, corn hole, frisby golf, pickleball, etc. Great staff, very helpful, especially Andrew. Location very good, close to alot of things, some even walking distance! Will come back again! No complaints!
- 2/5
Room Breakfast had no meat. Toaster didnt work. Internet was spotty at best. Temperature was not regulated by wall mounted dial. My favorite was being charged $10 unexpectedly to park at the hotel. Always a joy to be gouged any chance you get.

- 4.5/5
Superb staff, Location and price. Near to everything and a great breakfast included. Can't fault the place. Nothing
- 4/5
Our room was next to the pickle ball courts and it was noisy whenever people were playing on the courts. The internet connection was not very good.

Breakfast was great However, wish for hard-boiled eggs. Room was great, except had outbreak of black ants! And, please keep the kids from playing pickles all at 7:50 am.!!

Mattress broken down into two troughs. Outside the door was filthy-debris. Walkways had trash bag liquid drag stains EVERYWHERE. Needs power washed.

Breakfast
- 5/5
We had a great stay! We appreciated the pool and playground for our kids. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the microwave and mini fridge were helpful amenities to have.
- 5/5
The people excel at customer service and satisfaction. The young lady running the check-in desk is a genuine master. The property is immaculate. The rooms create comfort.
- 3/5
The grounds and pickleball courts, volleyball, pool, games etc were all awesome!!! The rooms left a lot to be desired. Old and dark with bad patch jobs everywhere. Staff was beyond helpful and super friendly!!! Great location with a quick walk to both the hot springs and the gondola to the adventure park. Probably the most convenient place to stay if you’re doing both these activities.

- 5/5
I have been to Glenwood several times and have never stayed at this property. I will always stay here if I can. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property is, our room was clean, beds were comfortable and the amenities were great.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, something was wrong with the computer system, so I was given a room that had guests already asleep in it. Needless to say those guests were not happy. The staff was very kind, but it was awkward and unsettling.
- 5/5
We had an amazing experience!
- 5/5
Clean room staff was nice and informative and breakfast was good
- 2/5
Carpet in the room had wine stains and was in general poor condition. Bed and bathroom were comfortable. Most staff were nice. Management was unsympathetic to my grievance about hidden parking fees preferred to blame issue on Expedia. Both need to revisit fee transparency.
- 4/5
They were out of eggs, butter and any decaf items to drink.
- 5/5
Clean room and the property ammenities were really great! Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly. Only thing is you do have to pay parking per night.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I was surprised by the parking fee.
- 3/5
Wasn’t what I expected. Bathrooms out dated and small just needs to have more appealing features
- 4/5
Great spot, close to town. Clean room? Friendly staff, good breakfast. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Hot Breakfast was good each morning. The hot tub is nice. Other people were playing volleyball or riding bicycles provided by the hotel. It seemed like everyone was having a good time. The location is within walking distance to everything we were doing
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay overall but the bed and pillows weren’t super comfortable, but that could be different depending on who you are. The noise level there from other rooms and the cars on the highway was louder than expected, but we managed.
- 4/5
Older hotel but rooms were clean will visit again
- 5/5
No and they charge you to park every night
- 3/5
Rooms were not clean, we had ants in the room but everything else was nice
- 3/5
Nice property and convenient parking. Had to ask for hand soap and ran out of tissues. Air conditioner worked but was very loud.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Pickleball courts were fun. Great location, walking distance to restaurant.
- 4/5
Room was clean breakfast could be better
- 2/5
Wasn't impressed
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. I did not love the bathroom, felt to small for the space and the shower was just okay. Truly thought it was ridiculous to have to pay a parking fee. I can understand having people out a pass in their car but why should it cost more. Just put it in the price of the room so it is an upfront cost. Felt unnecessary. The breakfast was good and had decent options for a family.
- 5/5
Stayed here for one night when visiting friends. Very friendly staff, clean room, great location and an overall comfortable stay. Would recommend highly to others.
- 2/5
Great location, walkable to a lot of the attractions and restaurants. They have bikes on site you can rent, fire pits at night. All of that aside, my room/bed had bed bugs. I called and left a message for the general manager of the hotel, with no call back, so not sure how they are handling it. So, beware.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable great location. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
It was ok. Charges were a bit more than other comparable places we stayed. The sidewalk and doormat in front of our door was disgusting with cigarette butts and dirt and leaves.
- 5/5
The gentleman at desk was very nice, he made sure we knew of all the amenities and was so helpful with the fire pits. You need to stay for 2 nights to take in all the amenities, the pool and hot tub, pickleball, biking, cornhole, horse shoes. Volley ball I think also. The fire pits are so nice. With the trees lit up. This is my 3 rd time staying there and will stay again
- 4/5
Totally pleasant stay. We were put in a room near the highway which was a bit of a bummer, but overall good experience.
- 5/5
Really close by to the hot springs and gondolas it was very clean i loved the mattresse it was very comfy and friendly staff will stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room. Very helpful staff, helped with setting up a late check in. Coffee at breakfast needs work!
- 5/5
clean and well maintained
- 5/5
The breakfast was great and staff was very helpful! The hotel is walking distance from the hot springs and downtown Glenwood Springs! We cannot wait to go back soon
- 5/5
Dana the manager was very accommodating and kind. The morning shift front desk girl on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday was very sweet and helpful. Also the cleaning staff were helpful too. The property is very pleasant and peaceful. I will definitely stay here again. I had a wonderful stay.
- 4/5
Two complaints: 1) a customer left their dog in their room for hours. The dog barked and whined continually. I had audio that I provided the staff person and they rectified it very quickly. 2) we were surprised by the parking fee, which $10 isn't much, but customers should be aware prior to arriving, even during reservation time.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Good breakfast.
- 4/5
Check in staff was rude. Breakfast wasn’t great… get there very early if you want options because they don’t keep it stocked through when it’s supposed to. Room was great and amenities were also great! Pool wasn’t “heated”… very cold
- 3/5
This hotel is getting old and showing its age. Bed was confortable.
- 3/5
Lots to do on the property-fire pit, pool, hot tub, etc.
- 3/5
We loved the bikes and pickleball. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. All the employees were friendly. The location was perfect. The room was a great size for our family but the bathroom floor wasn’t very clean, especially around the toilet. The doors need a fresh coat of paint. Though it seems fairly newly updated, it’s a little grimy and could use a deep clean.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 3/5
Small outdated rooms, not the friendliest check in, property has nice out door entertainment
- 5/5
Great room, great staff and a very reasonable price.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Wonderful location to explore Glenwood by foot, the property had many outdoor spaces to enjoy with your family or pet. Loved the playground and shady areas to walk our dog. Staff was wonderful from check-in to assisting with breakfast. We would absolutely stay again. Didn't love the smokers hanging outside the rooms, wish they were told to move it elsewhere or better yet make the property smoke-free!
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
The property is showing its age, for sure. But they do have pickleball courts, corn hole, a playground, and of course, a pool and hot tub. The pool was super cold and the hot tub had a funky smell, so we didn't go in. The coffee (especially in the room) is awful. Even the brewed coffee at breakfast is only ok. But the spread is pretty good. Eggs, tortillas, green chiles, biscuits, gravy, and waffle machine. It was pretty busy so those waffle machines were in high demand. Go early if you want to ensure access to all breakfast items. Things were pretty well picked over by 9:00. I don't know if we'd stay here again. Staff were all very nice and helpful, though.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Didn’t get to eat breakfast. Everything was gone by time I got there at 8:00am. But very beautiful property, very clean. Definitely recommend
- 4/5
There was a little bit of stuff we noticed on the ceiling, but other than that it was fairly clean. The amenities where great. As far as the beds they where a little too firm for our liking.
- 5/5
Beautiful property!
- 5/5
The room was clean but we only got 1 towel for 3 adults. We asked for the room to be cleaned and they never did it.
- 5/5
We traveled here during spring break in the middle of March. The weather was nice enough that the pool was open where my daughter could swim. Tons of amenities, like playground, hot
- 5/5
Yes and yes
- 5/5
Staff friendly and very helpful, especially front desk and food service. Very close to activities - hot springs, downtown.
- 5/5
Great location near the thermal pools and restaurants. Staff was super friendly. I didn't have a blow dryer in my room and they got me one very quickly.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel!
- 5/5
Excelente lugar
- 5/5
There is so much to do on the property (swimming, pickleball, Cornhole, volleyball, fire pits, etc.) and you can walk to most places in Glenwood. It’s always a great place to stay! Shower curtains are too short so it’s easy to get water all over the bathroom floor if you’re not careful..
- 3/5
Mountain view and fire pits were awesome. The rooms could use updating for sure.
- 5/5
This place is very clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating!!
- 4/5
All of the staff that I met were amazing, kind, and helpful!
- 5/5
too cold for pool, breakfast was a little above other motels
- 4/5
The hot tub was not working both days we were there.

All was good except for hearing neighbors through thin walls.

- 4/5
Very nice place to stay. Tasty hot breakfast, my only complaint is that there wasn’t any hot tea in the breakfast or in the room. It was a good thing I had the foresight to bring my own. Teas should be available, including decaf options.
- 5/5
Exceeded my expectations. Nice property with trees and a nature vibe
- 3/5
The “hot tub” was mid 90’s and jets didn’t work. Very disappointing after a long day skiing! Otherwise a nice place I’ve stayed at many times.
- 5/5
Thanks for delicious breakfast! The room was great and comfortable. Thanks you! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room
- 3/5
The pillows are cheap and flat says my neck.
- 5/5
Convenient location to hot springs, shops and walking bridge to restaurants.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a weird smell and there was trash behind the TV stand. We were counting on the sofa bed but we had to move the mattress to the floor because it was uncomfortable. The shower was nice with good amenities. The hot tub was unusable because it was so dirty.
- 5/5
Clean and recently remodeled king bed room, with refrigerator and good breakfast. We would stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff here was amazing! The room was clean but a little depressing. The breakfast was a big miss- no fresh food. No towels in the pool or hot tub area. Grounds were amazing.
- 1/5
The worst breakfast ever seen!
- 2/5
Not happy with my stay here. Decided to stay here because it was closer to Iron mountain springs and the reviews looked pretty good. Firstly the rooms were not clean. The toilet seat had stains from not being cleaned properly and the bathroom floors had hair in the corners. The bed was horrible. The beds need to be replaced. The mattress was sunken in on both sides, I ended up sleeping perpendicular to the head board because the mattress was so worn. The ac unit made a lot of noise all night. Had a adjoining suite door in the room. I could legibly hear the conversation in the other room both nights I stayed there. The facility itself is nice, breakfast was good. However was not able to get rest both nights i stayed there.
- 1/5
Disappointing to say the least! Motel-like facility. There had been some graffiti on the bathroom wall that they had tried to scrub off, but should have just painted over. Bugs in the ceiling lights (it’s February). And the breakfast in the morning had so many “not available” handwritten notes, including regular coffee (only decaf available) that we just walked out. This is the second BW I have been to that has been disappointing! Standards seem to be slipping. Won’t stay at another.
- 4/5
Comfy cozy room. Good location for getting around town. Good breakfast spread.
- 4/5
Check-in was very quick. The room, 107 was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Great check in area and process. Sincerely appreciate being able to have a dog stay with us. Our bathroom had liquid spots on the wall and the tub that was not appealing. Other than that, the room was great. Since we pay for the dog, I ask that the management consider having staff do the unpleasant but necessary job of keeping the grass free of dog poop. Unacceptable amount of it all over the grass means dogs and owners get it on paws and shoes - tracking it into rooms. I wish animal owners were all responsible, but they are sadly not so. Heck, if you offered me the option of picking it all up for a discount - I would! Breakfast area is really well done, thank you.
- 5/5
Everything went well.

Our stay was fantastic. The rooms were clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our favorite was the hot breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausage and a yogart bar)
- 4/5
Comfortable bed (firm mattress, nice linens) and clean room. A slight odor with heater running, but no other unpleasant odors. Carpet was a bit worn. Lightbulbs very dim. Grounds are lovely and it was quiet.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable and the check-in staff were so friendly.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay and the staff were helpful, the beds were comfortable and everting was clean.
- 5/5
Our stay was incredible. The staff was so accommodating and genuinely kind. We travelled by train and our departure was extremely delayed on our check out day. The manager, Jen, allowed us to stay well past check out until our train arrived. We couldn’t have been more grateful as it was snowing and there was nowhere nearby to wait the four hours until departure. Forever grateful for Jen and her incredible service and consideration.
- 5/5
The window in the bathroom only had privacy on the top portion instead of the entire window. This needs to be corrected.
- 2/5
I have always stayed here when in Glenwood Springs. There’s been a gradual deterioration in the quality of the stay. Mattresses are getting old and saggy, the breakfast quality is poor (they had no coffee this morning. This will no longer be my choice going forward.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! It felt more like a mountain lodge with the big fireplaces in the common areas. We made fun memories swimming in the pools in late November and we all enjoyed the included breakfast. We also loved the location as we walked to Two Rivers Park and walked along the river. We’ll definitely stay here next time we’re passing through!
- 4/5
Room was a little dark and candy found stuck to carpet floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was simple and convenient.

Clean rooms and great hot breakfast provided that stands out from mother hotels. So many don’t provide much if anything and this makes me want to book Best Western over others. Really adds value to your stay.
- 1/5
Waited 45 minutes for check-in. Agent wasn’t sure if room was ready and sent me to the back of the line until she could check on room. Line to check-in was 45 minutes long.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. The fireplace, the huge shower, and soaking tub were so nice! The staff was very friendly! We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so I can’t speak to how it was. They also had a little fire pit area set up outside at night that we enjoyed a couple times. Will definitely stay here again!
- 2/5
I've stayed at the Antlers many times before, and it's been great -however, this time was different. The check-in person was surly, to say the least. Our unit had no bathroom supplies—completely empty: shampoos, conditioners, and soap. And the fixtures, we were told, were newly remodeled and not secure, nor did they work. Not to mention the huge mold stains on the side of the tub - super gross! Wish it was better than it was before, but it's time to find another hotel.....
- 5/5
Really loved the property and its amenities and walking distance to the surrounding attractions, the room was also modern and cozy. Some of the towels were dirty and the breakfast was below average.

We booked the executive suite, while i was taking a bath the sinks started over flowing and flooded the bathroom. We co tacted the front desk and we were told we were being moved to a room that was just a bit smaller. The room we were moved to was alot smaler. It rid olnot have a living room with a couch, one tv insted of two, and the bathroom had a small shower and toilet. Then the blinds would not close and we were on the first floor and you can see right in, the A/C also would not work. We contacted the front again because i really didnt want to wake to someone looking in. We were moved a third time to a handicap acessable room. The toilet would not flush and the hot water was luke warm at best.It was late and there was not a manager on the property. We were told the manager would be in at 9 the next morning. The next morning , went to talk to the manager and they were not going to be in till 930. I had a reservation my husband and I need to get to as this was supposed to be our anniversary weekened, so we came back in the afternoon to talk to the manager. The front desk manager was very apolaget said our first night would be comped and they were going to talk to the general manager to see what else they could do as we were staying in a room that was not a suute and were still paying a suite price. We were moved to a fourth room where the toilet worked the we had hot water most of the time.. still have not recived a refund and experan can't not get ahold of a manager.
- 5/5
Hot tub could have been warmer but everything else was great
- 5/5
Our favorite place to stay when visiting Glenwood.
- 5/5
Nice room, comfortable and quiet. Allowed my dog to have a peaceful vacation too! Would stay here again.
- 5/5
This is a very nice property , comfortable rooms walking distance to downtown . Breakfast was very good as well, added bonus , pickleball court ! Will definitely be returning in the future .
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond and are just friendly in general and willing to help with anything! We appreciated them and love the grounds so much! We walked to so many places!
- 5/5
Always love staying here anytime im in Glenwood Springs. Super convenient location and staff never disappoints. They're on top of their game for sure.
- 5/5
Nice. A little worn but that’s ok.
- 4/5
no pets with us, so no clue.kid stuff was okay.
- 3/5
I stayed for 4 days. On my 3rd day I asked for housekeeping service. The housekeeper said she would be back but never did. When I asked the housekeeper lead she said staff was gone for the day. That they were busy and forgot about me. I was very upset, I had no clean towels, toilet paper, or toiletries. My trash was full and the lead was upset because I asked for my trash to be removed. Very uncomfortable situation that could have been avoided if they had cleaned the room in the first place.
- 5/5
The staff was the best and very accommodating.
- 5/5
Our Room was a 2 bedroom with room for 6…only downside was the maintenance wasn’t done the best! Holes in the wall, mold at floor corner of bathtub, and dad bugs in the window seals. All that said, I’d still come back…I just hope their maintenance / Housekeeping, shows a little more pride!
- 2/5
The rooms were OK, a little outdated and pretty dirty. The BED! It was awful completely and totally worn out. Two big sinkholes in it also too big yellow stains. Door handles and door jams were filthy.

We put on the reservation we would arrive at 230 am. We got to hotel at 245 and the check in girl said I cancelled your reservation. Even though I pre paid. She said I called you. There is no record that anyone called me at anytime from Best Western. She literally was going to let my husband walk out. When I showed him the reservation information he went back in and she said I still have your room. She acted like it was a huge inconvenience to do this . She said because we booked through a third party like Expedia everything is messed up !! The next day we asked to speak to the manager, they said the manager would be in touch. Then when we checked out the next day they said oh the manager will call you. Nobody has reached out and now they added another 164.71 charge to the bill with no explanation. Service was bad, breakfast was poor. Room looked nothing like the one displayed on site. So disappointed. The amount of people complaining at the desk makes me think this place has many problems. Do not stay here. Property site looks pretty but that’s the only thing that’s nice. Oh and still waiting to speak to the manager or anyone who can help us.

It was a great hotel but it could use some updating.
- 1/5
Waited 45 minutes in hopes to get checked in!!! Nobody ever showed up to the desk. We were extremely tired after a long drive to come to this, we had to leave and go look for another room available at another hotel, horrible!!!

Great place

Room is larger than expected. Only thing is the tub tile needs attention and caulking. Other than that. Very satisfied so far.

The upside: pet friendly and there were a lot of family’s during our stay. The amenities are so-so with activities like biking, pickle ball etc. We booked through Expedia but found cheaper rates the day before. The manager said that since we booked through Expedia, they couldn’t honor our AAA OR AARP discounts. Upon entering the room we found that the carpet was coming up by the door, bugs in the bathroom and suite (I presume they came in through the open window with no screen). Our view from the back window was the backside of the adjacent building, and where they store the trash bins. I was completely surprised because of all the favorable reviews. Tremendous amount of pet waste in the grassy areas, and by the fire pits. I accidentally stepped in a pile and tracked into the room. The surrounding area is busy, and we noticed an unusual amount of homeless people. The saving grace for the entire town is the overpriced mineral hot springs.

Clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a lot of options on the grounds. Loved relaxing by the firepits.
- 5/5
Walking distance to restaurants.
- 4/5
Everything was great! Small problem with shower leaking but otherwise great stay
- 5/5
Liked everything except the faucet was too close the edge of sink
- 4/5
We do wish the parking lot was bigger/had more space for all guests. We had to park on the street our second night due to there being no open parking spots. We love the hot tube and overall would recommend this hotel to others!
- 4/5
Excellent motel, with games & campfires in evening
- 4/5
We stayed with our dog and the area is perfect for walking. Plenty of grassy space for the pup.

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Glenwood, and this was my second time as a guest. I had another great experience! The room was very clean, the location is convenient and walkable, and the breakfast offered a nice variety each of the three mornings we stayed. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will happily return again.

very friendly staff. about 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Good location and breakfast was actually hot!

Laundry used cc and overcharged. Facility did not have detergent. Walked to Hokiday Inn and bought detergent from them.

Always a nice place to stay at
- 4/5
This is a quaint little place to stay. Clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Bonus..we had elk outside our room. The males were in rut and they were quite chatty with their bugling to the ladies.
- 4/5
The pool left a bit to be desired, some algae buildup underwater and definitely needed to be swept for floaters more often. Breakfast was a little crowded, I'd also recommend getting individual milk cartons than bulk in the carafe.
- 2/5
Ask for a quiet room which they had in another building, but instead gave mme a noisy room along the road.
- 5/5
Beds were very comfortable, linens were good quality. Location was very walkable, especially with a dog Breakfast was good. Dining area was above average
- 3/5
The room we stayed in was very dark, run down and dirty.
- 5/5
The front-desk people are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. The rooms are very quiet.
- 4/5
Not the cleanest bedding and received new bedding that also wasnt that clean looking. If we were staying more than one night, pit probably wouldve been more of an issue. It was just disappointing. but was a convenient location for the activities we were doing.
- 5/5
Hotel is nice and it’s in walking distance of downtown
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Big room and very clean.

Very nice

Great location, great staff, nice breakfast

Although located conveniently just off I-70 it felt like you were tucked in the woods in the mountains.

Great stay

Now the cons: Room was dated with wear and tear. The towels and washcloths were stained- they smelled clean, but had brown and black stains. The worst were the bed linens. We saw a stain on the top cover that looked like fecal matter, so we placed the bedding on the floor and asked the front desk to send new linens. When we returned, the old, stained linens had been picked up from the floor and placed back on the bed. Disgusting. The nice lady at the front desk gave us new linens. This time, the sheets were clean, but the blankets had holes in them. Oh, and there were bugs- a small black bug and an earwig. There’s no way I would stay here again based on cleanliness.
- 2/5
Room was dark and very outdated, bathroom door did not close, comforter had stains, carpet had a red stain by the bed. Breakfast was terrible, all ultra processed and low quality foods. Not worth the price.

Very comfortable ground floor room, quiet and good parking.
- 5/5
Easy checkin, friendly front desk, good location
- 5/5
Good value in an older but well maintained property. Playground and volleyball court ... easy walk to hot springs or to cozy downtown
- 5/5
This was a great choice for my family. It was conveniently located to a lot of the activities in town. The hotel has plenty of activities like pool, volleyball, cornhole, bikes,ect... for no additional charge
- 4/5
We were comfortable, our room was clean and adequately appointed. Breakfast had good variety and was tasty. The property was undergoing renovations during our stay. Loved the use of stone in the buildings’ architecture- tied the property into the beautiful landscape!
- 4/5
BW Antlers is a very nice place! Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful location!
- 1/5
We stay here a lot and this time was soooo different for the price it cost per night I expect it to be better maintained. The bath tub was so gross and moldy.
- 4/5
The breakfast options were great -- even though we avoid gluten and dairy we still felt like we had plenty to choose from! We rarely drove anywhere because we were close enough to walk to the pedestrian bridge and go to the places we wanted.
- 4/5
The rooms are older and have some bugs but the staff is super friendly and the property itself is great. They have a later check in than most at 4pm and even then our room wasn't ready for another hour.
- 3/5
I didn’t get the room I initially booked, they gave me a larger room which was great at first, but it ended up being covered in dead and live black beetles, I killed them and cleaned them up but they kept reappearing, staff did try help vacuum but they were everywhere and kept showing up. I didn’t sleep well as I kept thinking of bugs crawling on me. We also had very loud dogs next to us which made things worse. Staff were friendly and kind, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
- 5/5
The only thing we would like to see improved is the lighting in the rooms. Very dim, difficult to read by. My wife hated the lights over the vanities.
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was fine and found if you waited until after 830am it wasn't as crowded. There was barely any hot water for showers. The hot tub was dangerously hot. We told the person at the desk, wh

We had an amazing experience checking in, in our room and parking. Everything was SO clean which is the most important to me and my fiance.
- 5/5
Our fourth time in Glenwood and first time stay at Best Western. We loved our stay. Only complaint was the service with the cleaning people. Pool was great, breakfast was great. loved the kids park they have on site
- 1/5
The property was beautiful and it had some great amenities, especially while traveling with children. Unfortunately we had a large amount of Elm bugs in our rooms and woke up to them crawling on us. When I mentioned it to the front desk they gave us a spray bottle and said they would have maintenance come spray the room in the morning. No one ever came the next day. When we went to inquire on why, we were told there were no staff to be found and other visitors had been waiting hours to check in. Police were even called. My children both slipped in the bath tub because of how incredibly slippery it was. Luckily it was nothing but some tears and soreness but it certainly could have been worse. When I spoke to the manager upon check out he was very kind and apologetic. He assured me that he will look over all of our concerns and said he would comp us one night on both rooms for the inconvenience.
- 4/5
We love this hotel and the large suite. However, walking around in the room 116, our bare feet were blackened with dirt from the carpet.
- 5/5
Conveniently located to attractions in Glenwood Springs, CO. Bed and pillows were comfy, lots of towels, relatively quiet despte outdoor facing doors. Breakfast was kind of a madhouse with lots of families scrambling to get their breakfast before heading out. For the price its worth your stay.
- 3/5
Junior suite was just a room, no special amenities. Room was below the owners suite, kids running around until 1am. No privacy, the room was right next to pickleball courts. Loud, Had to keep shades down to maintain privacy
- 5/5
Clean and great area
- 5/5
Nice room, good air conditioning, friendly staff. They had nice amenities that we personally did not have time to use, but look great, such as free bicycles, great pool.
- 4/5
Breakfast was really good, Breakfast burritos, biscuit and gravy, yogurt bar. Room was good, blanket was really stained up and we had to request new one twice. Light bulb out in vanity area, not many lights in the place so it mattered. Fixture in shower area had tons of dead bugs in it. For the price we paid of this room, I would have paid a little more and went somewhere nicer.
- 5/5
Pleasant surprise! Last minute booking turned out to be great. Clean, quiet and rooms are large. Very happy we found this place.
- 3/5
Walkways to rooms are gross.
- 5/5
Wonderful outdoor pool and great breakfast !
- 5/5
It had a good atmosphere and is close to everything. The breakfast was good too.
- 4/5
Breakfast is not great. Sausage is tasteless. Eggs are from a package. Pastries are packaged.
- 4/5
Great overall stay. Really friendly staff. Nice property with pool. Our toilet was leaking, but not an overly big deal.
- 1/5
I was told by the GM I would be receiving a king size bed instead of the two doubels I apparently reserved by mistake. However, it didnt happen and the front desk staff said he did'n grant a king because there were none left. I find that hard to believe that the GM who deligently went through the room vacanies made a mistake and then lied to me about granting my request. I believe the front deck staff was too lazy to accommodate me and because I went through Expedia.
- 5/5
Will be back!
- 1/5
There is only one person who knows how to work the computers at the check-in desk, and they went home sick, so a crowd formed in the lobby, waiting an hour and a half for them to find somebody to come in to check us in. The manager of this facility is totally incompetent for not having anyone else trained on how to work the computers. I will never be back here again!!!
- 5/5
Wonderful spot tucked in Glenwood Springs convenient to everything. Beautiful property. Would definitely stay here again!

We love Colorado

The room was unsanitary (sheets, live and dead bugs, visible mold growth in and around the shower)--so much so, I took my family and we checked out (about 90 minutes after checking in).
- 2/5
The room had a bunch of bugs. Spent a good hour squashing them. Good thing for AI recognizing that they were not bed bugs. Stain on the under sheets.
- 5/5
It was within walking distance to town which was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay.

- 4/5
It was good. Large room beds were comfy. Cleanliness was average.
- 4/5
This property is old and the rooms need some updating, but it was still a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Gorgeous property, pool was a bit cold and could have used less leaves, hot tub looked like it could have been cleaned, overall a really great spot though.
- 2/5
Way overpriced for what it is. Room was dirty and looks like they haven’t patched holes in the walls ever. Our door malfunctioned and we were locked out of the hotel room for 30 min while staff tried to fix it. Was moved to a different room eventually when it couldn’t get resolved. Staff was nice, which was the only positive thing about this hotel. We paid 350$ for one night, which is 3xs more than this place is worth. I recommend going to a cheaper one across the street that is equally outdated, but at least cheaper. That is where we will stay when we return this fall, but never again the best western
- 5/5
Good breakfast options!
- 4/5
The location was great too. We parked right in front of our room and never drove again for the rest of the stay. There’s not a thing in town that’s more than 15 minutes walking distance.
- 5/5
This was a wonderful property, close to the downtown and with excellent amenities. Elevated breakfast compared to others we experience, very spacious room, nice to have access to a pool/hot tub, as well as fire pits. If we had kids lots for them to do. It was pricey comparative to our other nights, but comparable to others in the area and very worth the extra expense.
- 4/5
Our room was very clean and the staff was lovely. The property is on the older side so there was natural wear and tear in the room. It appears to be a wonderful family friendly experience with a common area for the office, pool, fire pits, and playground. Room doors open to the outside. We felt safe and close to the town activities.
- 5/5
This hotel has it all. The breakfast is great, my kids look forward to the waffle maker. They have a wide variety of room arrangements that are perfect for any trip - 1, 2 or 3 beds to avoid sharing if needed. And the range of entertainment is a hit. Pickleball followed by mellow time at the fire pits is a lovely way to end the day!
- 2/5
I did not like the extra bedroom with no A/C, the flourescent light bulbs in the bathroom, internet was down, not updated and was dark and not real clean.
- 3/5
The grounds were kept very well, and there were planets of nice outdoor areas to enjoy. The room, however, was not great. The bathroom was very small and had a lot of mold problems. Carpet was really old and stained/torn in many areas. Very dimly lit too.
- 5/5
Staff was so helpful and lots of activities to do on property!
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast offering. Easy check in online. Only one short coming was that the hot tub motor was out of order. Other than that, everything was good.
- 5/5
Nice property- has a Mid Century mod vibe - very kind and helpful. Great mattresses clean non smelly rooms
- 5/5
Our trip was another success and best western antlers was the best place for our large family to get together and enjoy the hotsprings
- 5/5
We were impressed by the amenities at this hotel. The only thing I would like to have had was a fitness center. Other than that this was a great hotel. Appreciated the bikes that you could borrow for free.
- 5/5
Fantastic property & friendly service. Very clean & well maintained. This property is set up like a small resort with lots of extras. Would definitely go back.
- 5/5
Love the family activities and relaxed atmosphere!
- 5/5
ever had. Also, see a bear was exciting!

I loved the area and all the amenities that Antlers had to offer. The lady at the front desk, Tenee was especially helpful and very kind to everyone waiting to check in.

10/10 would stay again. Great room, staff and breakfast. They even had almond milk and green chili on the breakfast bar.
