Nice hotel nice day beautiful mountains. Surroundings pool is small hot tub small but OK breakfast wasn’t bad your usual scrambled eggs and bacon biscuits gravy juice, juices, oatmeal cereal, yogurt, but good.
- 1/5
Hotels.Com listed the room charge + fees at $256. Hotel added a parking fee of $10 2 days before checkin. The amenities were so so/non existent. Worst experience i 60 years including overseas experiences.
- 5/5
It was comfy, clean, and a great location less than a mile from downtown. Beautiful view. However the noise from the floor above us was annoying, but it could just have been the couple ip there. Foot stomping.
- 5/5
Room was very comfortable and clean
- 4/5
Un buen hotel para pasar una noche. Está bien por el precio que pagas.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4/5
The hotel rooms have been updated, but tv’s need more options for movies and streaming services. Pool was very small and not enough seating when a huge group decided to dominate the pool.
- 5/5
Good

Good
- 4/5
Room was clean and blackout blinds were nice! Smaller hotel, but was great for our 1 night stay and breakfast was actually pretty good for a free hotel breakfast!
- 4/5
Air conditioning was not that effective, pillows not very high quality. Otherwise great work stay
- 3/5
The air conditioner in our room was very noisy.
- 5/5
Yes the breakfast was yummy and good choices and definitely a lot of parking.
- 5/5
Check in and out was very quick and easy, rooms were clean, staff was friendly.
- 5/5
The hotel was a perfect walk to the gondola and to the shops near Hotel Colorado. Rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable!
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff. Thoughtfully designed for ease and comfort. Coffee is fresh ground for every cup! Lighting was thoughtful, and the rain shower was great. The bathroom fan actually existed and worked!! The TV service was easy to understand. Easy storage for our luggage in the room. Clean room. The snack area was great, too. After our trip staying at several hotels, this was the best! It was also in walking distance to hot springs and restaurants. Great value! Much appreciated!!

Ok
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay in Glenwood, this property was walking distance to downtown ,Glenwood hot springs , shops and restaurants . The room was clean the bed was comfy bed and it was quiet. The bathroom tub area does need a refresh/remodel. Breakfast was ok ,I would recommend some gluten free items. Staff was super friendly .
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Good location
- 4/5
Clean rooms, breakfast could be better-no fruit, hard bagels, lots of processed foods
- 5/5
Stay was pleasant and easy
- 3/5
The room was quit and room was okay but the carpet was disgusting it look liked there was poop stains from a dog all over the floor. Carpet needs to be shampooed.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Nicely amenitized
- 4.5/5
I liked that they had a pool and a gym. The gym was better than most for a mid priced hotel. It had everything you could ask for in a short stay. N/A
- 5/5
Our favorite when passing through Glenwood Springs.
- 5/5
Thank you! Everything was amazing!
- 5/5
Choose the one with a bedroom but when we got there, there was no bedroom like I had anticipated (bedroom to me, means there's a door for separation). There was ample room, all the beds like described but no official bedroom with a door to separate the beds like I had wanted. Otherwise, the room was great other than that one hitch. I'm sure I misread. Location was perfect. Our view was not much to look at but to be realistic, we weren't there long enough to admire the room view. Staff was lovely, rooms were nice, quiet area, good night's rest. Breakfast was decent. Would definitely stay at again
- 5/5
Very comfortable A little expensive
- 3/5
This property is old and needs refurbished! Breakfast was ok
- 5/5
Everything was great and the breakfast really good but they didn't have the pool open
- 1/5
There was a water leak in our room. They knew about it and still rented it out! They were booked full so we had to stay with the leak!
- 3/5
Very clean but noisy. You cna hear everythibg happening outside, and people partied with loud music at the hot tub til 1015 pm. Air conditioner turns on and shuts off after 30 seconds of running and doesnt really maintain a consistent temperature or regulate it well, hence probably why you can hear everything as their lacks insolation. Shower curtain smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was good and a nice amenity.
- 5/5
The stag was very welcoming form the very beginning. They ensured our room was clean on arrival and during our stay. Would definitely come back here during future visits.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Holiday inn as always great.
- 5/5
Very Clean room
- 5/5
Clean room. Located right next to the hot springs, which was very convenient, and the breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.
- 5/5
Nice clean room, great breakfast
- 3/5
Late check in time room not ready after check in time 4pm
- 4/5
Our activities were easily accessible
- 5/5
We have a great stay!!!!
- 2/5
I asked if they had a king bed, they said they did but it was handicap accessible. Told only difference is lower bed and eoll in shower. Fine, ill take it. Room liked tike it was updated in 1980. Mattress was horrible, room was overall gross!!! Let me remind you i stayed thereva wk prior on the second floor in a king room and the experience was way different.
- 5/5
This was such a fantastic place to stay the bath rooms were a bit outdated and cheap looking but the coffee in the lobby was the best hotel coffee ive ever had
- 5/5
Clean room, plenty of room for our dog. Great FREE breakfast.
- 5/5
Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, good price
- 5/5
Nice day clean room good breakfast
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, nice staff, good breakfast
- 4/5
Nice place Can't think of anything
- 4/5
Noisy neighbors
- 3/5
The "fantastic" breakfast was ok at best. The shower was awful. zero room w water in my face. will not be returning.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous, rooms were clean!
- 5/5
Convent to town and restaurants, great for an overnight stay, very clean, comfortable beds and nice selection for breakfast. All good.
- 2/5
Could hear everything in the hallway, lots of noises. Breakfast was terrible.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice amenities and location, clean and spacious room.
- 4/5
Was a clean room
- 5/5
We had great experiences with staying in this place. Breakfast was great as well!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay! Matt the front desk agent who checked us in and was there both nights was beyond fantastic! super attentive, informative, helpful and quick. he was great with our two kids too!
- 5/5
Friendly staff great breakfast All good no complaints
- 4/5
Front desk staff seemed more interested in being on computer. Rudely spoke Spanish between themselves, in front of guests.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! Love that the beds are always comfortable at HIE! It's our hotel of choice.
- 5/5
We had a great stay while in town for our anniversary.Room was very clean, service was good, and the breakfast was delicious.Everything was hot, and they did a great job at keeping all of the items full. We have stayed at this location several times and this one was very enjoyable.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and great location to hot tubes
- 3/5
Room was great. Ice machine outside, kept us up all night. It needs fixed!!
- 4/5
The staff was really nice. The room was clean an hour after check-in. The bed was hard and pillows we had to get extra. There are still no vegan options on the breakfast. Is it that hard to set out a bowl of mixed fruit? They only had earl gray tea. No seasonal tea disappointing.
- 4/5
Yes
- 3.5/5
One of the rooms we had the heater would work for a while and then start blowing cold air.
- 5/5
Great value at this hotel. Staff are fantastic and our room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is generous with lots of hot and cold options. Freshly brewed coffee machines are available in the lobby all day. The location is a few minutes drive away from restaurants and each of the hot springs in town. Very convenient and would stay here again.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet rooms.
- 5/5
The room was clean and spotless. It offered great value for the price and was conveniently located near the hot springs.
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 3/5
The breakfast selection was small and they had no fresh fruit. The room was small and dated.
- 5/5
It’s centralized
- 5/5
Polite staff; clean rooms; quiet; great location and great breakfast included.
- 3/5
Breakfast was fine.
- 4/5
I would stay here again
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 5/5
Great staff !!!! Clean rooms, many restaurants in walking distance.
- 2/5
This hotel seemed like a nice place. So many opportunities were missed. When we checked in, we were given a room that wasn’t clean or prepared for us. The front desk staff was kind and offered us a bigger room. I appreciated the customer service in that. When we got to the bigger room, we noticed that none of the wall plugs were strong enough to hold our chargers. They kept falling out of the wall. Then the next morning we got a 9am wake up knock, although checkout was at 11am. I’ve never had that happen before. We paid a good amount, but the stay was totally underwhelming.
- 3/5
Mattress very uncomfortable. I slept in a ditch all night!
- 5/5
It was great experience
- 5/5
Everything
- 2.5/5
The facility is not well maintained. There were holes and stains in the carpet and window coverings.
- 4/5
All was good. My only complaint is the tile in our bathroom was broken and looked to be falling apart.
- 5/5
Nice property within walking distance of Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Breakfast was excellent, featuring the signature cinnamon rolls. Room was clean, and area was just off downtown
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Very clean, all amenities in place, and lovely staff.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, good location.
- 4/5
..
- 5/5
Quick in & out. Staff were friendly and professional. Clean hotel with a good breakfast.
- 5/5
Hotel is very clean (both our room and the common areas), and the staff were all very kind and accommodating. Free breakfast had nice savory & sweet options. Outdoor pool and hot tub were clean. Parking lot is well lit, however finding a spot can be tricky if you return late in the evening during peak tourist times. Location is within close walking distance of Glenwood Caverns and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. This is our second stay at this hotel, and we'll certainly be back!
- 2/5
The first night was okay. The second night they didn't have any water so almost everyone checked out and went to another hotel. They refunded my money for the second night. They didn't show any remorse about their service.
- 5/5
At no fault to the hotel, we had to cancel do to a water main break, and no water.
- 1/5
Comfortable beds. No toilet paper. Loud A/C unit. Water main break caused us to have to go elsewhere. The manager was quite rude when we made complaints about the lack of toilet paper and no plain creamer for the mediocre coffee. Breakfast was minimal. We were discounted $50 plus tax after we left. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great location! Ignore Google maps - it's only ~5 minutes from Iron Mountain if you scramble up the slope from the Holiday Inn parking lot (they should put in a proper path/steps), walk across the bridge, and walk through the Iron Mountain parking area. If you don't want to scramble up the slope, it's another ~3 minutes to walk to the road properly (i.e., ~8 min walk)
- 4/5
Property seems to be working through renovations, our room still had tape on outlets on wall with window, damage to the opposite half wall by bed closest to the bathroom, beds were worn in paint peeling in places in the bathroom, paint and cement damage in the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was ok limited options but weekends had something different than the weekday. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. Could not check in early and had to wait for rooms to be cleans when we arrived around 1pm.
- 2/5
Our check in person was awesome but it all went down hill from there. The hotel is in need of remodeling. Stay was very expensive for the quality. We paid extra for our pets but the location for not good for taking them outside.
- 3/5
Place is falling apart. Needs some updates
- 4/5
We don’t like the breakfast. Turkey sausage is dry and awful.
- 5/5
Clean, comfy, great access to outside for dogs, friendly staff.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast and room Ice maker on floor three and laundry on floor two, and size of breakfast seating area very small for number of guests using it.
- 5/5
Always good
- 5/5
Very clean. Close to highway and very hot to hot springs!
- 3/5
Great Location. Less traffic area. Staff was very nice. Room was good sized. Bath products were good. Breakfast was good. I had to push my door hard to close it, it wouldn't close on its own. Trying to figure out how work the remote with the TV was worse than college algebra ?. Price for hotel was a little high for my liking but it is a tourist area.
- 5/5
Very clean, easy check-in, friendly clerks.
- 5/5
Great stay but all properties in Glenwood across all companies are substantially over-priced.
- 3.5/5
Rooms could be better
- 4/5
charged 32 $ extra for no reason, did not send receipt
- 5/5
I just didn't like that our room was closed to be the breakfast area and right at 7:00am the noise from people was crazy. I think a room in a different floor would be the best.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel. Breakfast was great, location was great, bed was super comfortable, and hotel is clean. The outdoor area by the side entry doors could be better maintained. Felt safe, and quiet area. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Insects around windows & in light fixtures— had to ask for towels because full sets were not placed in the room
- 1/5
Pool was dirty, hot tub was dirty, the entire 3rd floor was being remodeled and was dirty. The room carpet had stains and we never got housekeeping service for the 3 nights. Not worth the price to stay here.
- 3.5/5
Bathroom was worn with water-damaged walls/ceiling, loose/leaking plumbing fixtures, rust around the tub drain. Needs a refresh.
- 4/5
Pricey
- 1/5
Don’t back deposit
- 4/5
The staff was amazing very professional, very friendly. Our room was also very clean. There could have been more parking and the broken blinds and dirty windows on the first floor just take away from the appeal to the property.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean rooms and a fun pool. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and amusement park. Would recommend for family's.
- 3/5
Great location to downtown and hot sprongs.
- 5/5
Awesome stay in an adorable town. Clean room, awesome breakfast!
- 5/5
It was decent for the money
- 5/5
Staff excellent and close to the gondola to get to the theme park and caves
- 2/5
Checked in at 10 pm and was not notified in advance that they were having an Elm Fly invasion. We were told we could get a refund, but where were we going to go at 10pm, Saturday night??? Upon check out, no compensation or credit given and manager was rude and unaccomodating. Reluctanctly she offered a $40 credit, but in the end was unable to get that processed. I like the location and the beds, but because of the manager we will not stay there again.
- 5/5
Was very clean, spacious king room, loved the layout /floor plan of the room. Comfortable bed, nice staff, nice breakfast. Great location near Iton Mountain Springs and Glenwood Adventure Park.
- 5/5
Nice comfy hotel
- 1/5
And pool wasn’t available no water on it
- 3/5
The pool was closed while they painted outside. They did offer the sister hotel pool within walking distance. During daylight hours, there was constant power tool usage as they cleaned and painted the exterior. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely accommodating. The proximity to the park was excellent.
- 5/5
Room was Clean, beds were nice
- 5/5
Just a quick one night stay. Pool was down for a painting but offered to go to Holiday Inn next door. Clean. Breakfast good. Front desk phenomenal.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good & in the beds were very comfortable!
- 5/5
Older building, but you wouldn’t know it. Everything has been updated with smart design. Loved the built in suit case stands, bed was comfy, and breakfast wasn’t stale. Only minor downside was the highway noise did filter in through the window pane (might be the original).
- 1/5
Construction and materials laying everywhere! Hazards!
- 3/5
Great location. The hide-a-bed was unfit to sleep on. Rented that room because it advertised as “multiple beds”. The mattress was torn, filthy and lumpy. No one could sleep on it.
- 5/5
Greta clean place to stay. So close to iron mountain springs
- 5/5
I like
- 5/5
Very clean and the extra sleeping area was perfect!
- 5/5
Ok
- 2/5
Not the best place but I guess you get what you pay for.
- 4/5
Comfortable room great location. Breakfast could have been a little better. We were sad they were out of biscuits that morning
- 5/5
Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
We stayed here for the night after a day at the got springs and it was great. Good location to hot springs and downtown area - could walk if you wanted to. Friendly staff and clean room.
- 5/5
Very good budget hotel.
- 4/5
It was good for a quick overnight stay while on a road trip and just passing through.
- 4/5
Pretty clean quiet.
- 4/5
Our room was very clean and it was a great location for us.
- 5/5
Walkable to Glenwood Caverns, Iron Mountain and the historic Hot Springs Pool. Our room had highway traffic noise and we were right next to an exterior door, but once we got past the 10pm push it was very quiet
- 4/5
Very clean and friendly, we wish they had the pool open
- 4/5
Good hotel was clean and had a decent breakfast simple but great as free for our 5 person family . Room had 3 queens and was really good . Comfy bed was a good sleep while traveling .
- 1/5
They charged my card 84 for accommodation for late check out but i checked out before 9 am . I also left something the room and went back around 10 am and thry refused to open the room up for me.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
The property was very clean, the surrounding was clean and quite. The front office greeted us as soon as we walked in.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and great hotel
- 5/5
Front deak wasnsupe rhelpful amd friendly, offer information on places we needed to visit and we were not disappointed from this recomendations. We love this place
- 3/5
Older facility, rooms are neat and clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast area is cramped and was not fully stocked (the typically excellent breakfast is why we try to stay atHoliday Inn Express whenever traveling). Will continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling, just not this one.
- 3/5
In our first room the double pullout bed was broke so our second night we moved to a different room. The second room’s sink was very slow to drain.
- 2/5
Upon arrival, the manager was very friendly and helpful. We had hoped the pool would be open and he told us how to use a neighboring hotel. The room itself was in terrible condition. The bathroom floor had broken tiles. The wall was bubbling off the walls, and the trim work was missing in places. In the restaurant for breakfast, the pancake machine was broken, the juice machine was broken, and the selection in the refrigerator was minimal. For example, there was no yogurt. We chose this hotel because it’s a name we know and expected more. Expedia also showed a high rating and reviews were good. We won’t return! It was not anywhere near the cheapest in the area, but this hotel needs a major upgrade!
- 2/5
The people that were right above us were so loud we could not get a good nights sleep, stomping, running and/ or walking at all hours but really bad we we tried to go to bed and early in the morning.9 pm to after midnight .Rude hotel guest or there is something thing wrong with the sound barrier between the rooms. We did call the desk to report. It did calm down for about 14 minutes but started right back up.
- 5/5
Great but bathroom ceiling was himid and with a hole.
- 3/5
This property is within walking distance to the gondola and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. It is also just a short drive to Iron Mountain Hot Springs or downtown. The beds were comfortable, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, and when we had a toilet overflow they fixed and had it cleaned up promptly. Some of the things I didn’t like: You could tell that they have had problems with the toilet from the stains and loose tiles on the bathroom floor. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and sink from a previous guest that were still there after housekeeping came in. The bathroom fixtures had a lot of hard water buildup and didn’t look very clean. The hanging lampshade had water stains, and the room was about 85 degrees when we first got there. The walls are very thin and you can hear all your neighbors along with the traffic on 1-70. Our view was of the parking lot and highway. The other side may have had better views. That being said, we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, and it served all our needs. There was a good selection for breakfast as well. It’s a great property if you are looking for something budget friendly and conveniently located.
- 5/5
We went to iron mountain hot springs and this hotel was 10/10 . Breakfast included and wasn’t far at all from all the attractions and the downtown restaurants
- 4/5
Had a 3 bed suite with a pullout and it was super spacious for the family!
- 5/5
The staff were fantastic! Above and beyond accommodated us. They even set up my mom’s birthday decorations in the room and made a card. I was overwhelmed by their customer service and kindness.
- 3/5
This is a disappointing holiday inn express. I expect much more from this brand. As someone qho specializes in luxury hotels, I will say that this location is the only reason this hotel can charge what they do. It isnt vwry clean. The furniture is shoddy. You cant do anything about how small the rooms are, so invest in the rooms. The breakfast was poorly executed. I don't recommend this hotel. Stay at the other properties next door.
- 5/5
Great place to stay .
- 5/5
It was a good nights stay. Be on the top floor... the floor squeeks and can be annoying
- 4/5
Great Location
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Enjoyed the breakfast and the outside hot tub was nice too.
- 4/5
While the hotel feels modern, clean, and comfortable, it lacks in some areas of comfort and modernity. The ceilings feel very poorly insulated, making it very easy to hear the footsteps of people in rooms above you. My wife and I were awakened to the stomping of boots, back and forth, in the room above us for nearly an hour, at around 5:30am. My friends in different rooms shared similar experiences. Additionally, the TV in our room was a bit clunky to use, with a guide that didn’t reflect current channels or shows running, and no modern streaming service access, though this wasn’t a big issue. Overall, it was a nice and comfortable stay, but noise from other guests made it hard to get a good night’s rest.
- 5/5
Convenient clean and nice staff
- 5/5
Check in was very easy, after getting into our room it was kind of weird that there was no remote control for the TV. Had to call the front desk to get the remote but overall everything was excellent!
- 4/5
It was a very nice stop after driving for half a day. The room was more spacious than I expected, however the bathroom was a bit of a let down. Everything worked and we had a very comfortable night's rest, but I think the suite room would have been better with a more traditional bathroom where the sink was in with the shower and toilet. Having to get up in the night to use the restroom, and then coming into the room to wash my hands created more noise than necessary for a family all trying to sleep. Additionally, someone had smashed the thermostat control, so we were unable to change the temp in the room. Thankfully, the temp was fine, but if it had been too cold or too warm, we would have been out of luck.
- 5/5
Espectacular el lugar
- 5/5
You cant go wrong with a Holiday Inn EXPRESS. Always nice with great breakfasts. Not a super high top of the line but always very nice
- 4/5
Easy check in and check out. Staff was friendly and helped with whatever we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had great tea options in the lobby.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and everything everywhere was clean
- 5/5
I liked
- 3/5
Very poor breakfast and no room to eat
- 1/5
The hotel look nothing like the picture. The restroom looked like it was under construction. I took my son a shower and the shower started filling up with nasty water the maintenance guy came to unclogged it and it was 2 hand full of hair that he took out. We were supposed to get a room with 2 beds and 1 foldable couch which there was no coach just a nasty bed in the corner of the room Also the restroom got clogged and started spilling they switched us rooms but to a smaller one and the restroom at least got clogged like 5 times on us at our stay worst place ever.
- 4/5
Our bathroom had floor damage and the tub faucet leaked horribly
- 3/5
It’s just old but I just think a lot work from the hotel owner should be done the floor smells horrible. House keeping is 10/10 and workers are also very nice .
- 5/5
We had an amazing time here
- 2/5
Breakfast was not great compared to other holiday inns, limited searing, no hot water, limited tea options.
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Very comfortable and clean. Accommodating for my dog. Close to Hot Springs.
- 4/5
For the price I paid I was expecting a bit newer with more amenities, but the view, location and staff were great, so it kind of made up for the quality of the hotel itself. The Hampton Inn next door had the indoor pool which was more ideal for my family’s entertainment.
- 5/5
Room was sufficient, had everything you need. Clean room, bathroom was decent and the hot tub was nice. Convenient enough location to walk to down down as well as the hot springs.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Having to listen to kids/dogs run and jump for hours in the early morning the floor above was incredibly unenjoyable!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, I am very happy with my choice
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Beds were not as comfortable but room was clean
- 4/5
Very convenient location to everything! Very clean place and good front desk service!
- 5/5
Dog friendly!
