Glenwood Springs Inn

All good in general, great kitchen. But staff start to knock the door at 10:30am wich was annoying, and again at 11am. We know check out is at 11, don't worry.

Was very pleased to have adjoining rooms for my family. Very helpful at the front desk. Quiet location and near to Glenwood Hot Springs. We could walk there. Can also walk to downtown Glenwood Springs. Air conditioning worked well and the room was clean. Will plan to stay here when we come next year.

It was my first time in Glenwood Springs and this location met all my needs.

No hot water so couldn't shower. Could not find breakfast location and front desk did not answer to assist. Rough towels. Large debris in parking lot blocking parking spaces. Hard/uncomfortable bed. Good location and good air conditioning. Front desk at check-in was very nice.

Love a continental breakfast with fresh waffles. And the rooftop deck was lovely to hang out on in the morning or at sunset.

This was an average motel that fit the needs of a stay. It was clear it was in need of a little touch up (room was half painted, needed some caulking, and and other elements) but as stated it was good for a low budget stay.

The check in person was not very helpful. They put me in a sub standard room, different from the other rooms that I usually stay in when I stay here. The bathroom fan was loud. The property was noisy. Many of the TV channels didn't work.

The floor needed vacuumed but the bed was comfortable.

Room needed a bit more cleaning and for sure dusting and removal of spider web off the ceiling lights, also there was a shake left in the refrigerator, who ever cleaned the room didn't do a good job, and bathroom wasn't fully clean, the chaos look stained and need steam cleaning or updated, breakfast was not as shown on website, staff was nice though which I told them about the cleaning problem.

Great location within walking distance of most of the fun downtown atmosphere of GS. We walked to the gondola, Hotel Colorado and even over the river to the shops and restaurants. Would’ve loved some scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon for breakfast.

Cheap , friendly, informative and clean. Everything worked. Breakfast is a bit lite, dont expect too much choice if you have allergies like gluten intolerance. For the money though, definitely worth it.

Room was small but was very clean and updated and had everything we needed. The breakfast was ready on time and tended to by one employee who took great care. Typical continental fare. There is a rooftop patio with a few tables which would have been spectacular for stargazing if it wasn’t cloudy.

The location was great. Nice walk to the pools and downtown. Parking is motel style with cars almost up to doors. My complaint was that the curtains were very flimsy and the lights from the cars could be seen clearly. Heavy curtains would be great.

Clean and quiet Nothing

The room was very clean and blankets smelled very good. Room was cute they only offer queen beds though. I loved how close it was to places and the Hot springs. The power went off for like 5 hours and bed was squeaky but still comfortable. Breakfast could have more options.

Location Initially put us in a room that was still under construction but put us in a better room after I pointed this out.

We were just passing through town and stopped at Glenwood Springs. For a lower budget hotel it wasn't bad. Light was out over the bathroom sink but ok. Beds were comfortable and room was adequate. We left early in the morning so I cannot comment on the continental breakfast. No coffee in the room. Their location was convenient to the freeway

I liked the room and bed. The pricing was good. Fridge was nice. Water pressure is the shower was weak. I leave for work at 6am and your kitchen is not open so I have to get breakfast and coffee at the gas station every day.

Location was great. Noisy. People behind our room were screaming early and late. Toilet paper was like sand paper. Towels were tiny. Bathroom was tiny and basic. Shower was not great. Breakfast hours finish too early we never made it to breakfast beacuse it was a chance to sleep in without kids around and it finished too early. People on the stairs outside sounded sooo loud in our room and echoed around the room.

It is always clean, safe, and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and many items are available. Right on the local, free bus.

Bed was a little too hard for me. Free City bus service right outside the hotel parking lot. Very walkable area - we walked from the train station to the hotel.

As a solo female traveler, I felt reasonably safe at this property. Front desk staff were both friendly and helpful. The wall mounted heater, microwave and mini fridge all worked well. I would have loved to have a coffee maker. Maverik was only a 3 minute walk away and I believe they’re open 24 hours.There were a few restaurants within walking distance too. The continental breakfast was decent with good coffee.

An older property in a great central location for most Glenwood Springs interesting sights and activities. I selected it because it was most reasonably priced. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very clean and updated room. Bath, beds, linens, and all furnishings appeared practically brand new. Lighting, outlets and small fridge/freezer were up to date. The free continental breakfast was well supplied and had 2 attendants keeping to room clean and well supplied with fresh breakfast eats. Overall I was very pleased and rate Glenwood Springs Inn a true "Best Value". My fishing buddy who accompanied me to fish the nearby Roaring Fork River and occupied another room shared my evaluation.

Once we arrived the office staff at check in were extremely welcoming and we had a good feeling from the start. The room was cleanly with a nice closet, comfortable bed sheets and a small fridge/freezer. The only thing missing was ample room to keep our clothes without a dresser and the soap dispenser was hard to use. The breakfast was great, especially the waffles! Would have liked to spend more time on the deck above the breakfast house, but there weren’t lounge chairs most like due to it being spring, but feeling like summer. Also we were able to walk to everything! Overall great experience.

They also refused to give us our phone back when it was left there. They later made us pay to ship it. Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel or with customer service.

Very clean room and staff was great

The employees were friendly and helpful, from check-in to the breakfast. The room was really clean. The breakfast isn't a hot breakfast, but does have hard boiled eggs, pastries, oatmeal, cereals, waffles, yogurt, and various toppings. But what I liked was that they use real plates and cutlery, instead of disposable. I always hate the wasteful plastic at other hotels. It is a no frills hotel but clean, convenient, and priced well.

While the room seems to have been refurbished, overall it could use sprucing up with paint finishes. We were furnished with only one washcloth and there was no soap in the shower dispenser. Tiny bathroom, although it had been nicely remodeled. Good location to get to restaurants in town.

I tried to find something wrong with my room and failed. It had all the amenities I needed and was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and professional. This is not a luxurious hotel but it is extremely nice and well appointed.

Awesome place for the price. I was looking for a cheap hotel to sleep while skiing and hiking. Complimentary breakfast is very simple, mostly muffins, bagels, waffles and yogurt. No eggs, bacon, etc. Was blown away that they had two free EV charging spots. Rooms are dated but everything was clean and there was a newer mini fridge that I appreciated. TV only has cable, which is a bit of bummer but had hot showers and all the essentials.

What really stood out at this place was the clean room and fresh clean sheets. Highly recommended!

Amenities are lacking. Rooms were freezing when we checked in. There were hairs on our beds sheets, not sure how often they wash out the sheets. And for the price of $200 a night. I have stayed in luxury hotels for that price.

The room itself was comfortable, and I was able to control the temperature in the room. It would’ve been nice to have cups of some kind with which to drink water. The hotel is proximity to nearby restaurants, the Hot Springs pool, and to free bus access was especially appealing. The front desk personnel were helpful. So, on the balance, it was a nice place to stay.

Older hotel, not fancy, but has been updated and well maintained. Staff is very kind and helpful. They serve a good breakfast, are right off the main highway exit, and close to the pool and downtown. We have stayed here several times over the years, and will definitely be back.

One of the lights was out and the power went out multiple times. The bed was tough and the pillows were paper thin. Won't be staying there again.

Our stay was great, the hotel is very cute and conveniently located in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was limited but we went out for breakfast anyways so this wasn't a problem. Overall it was a clean, affordable stay right next to both the Glenwood adventure park and Glenwood hot springs. Would recommend to future travelers.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and had what we needed. The bathroom was a bit small, but clean. No automatic daily room cleaning; you probably have to request it but not a problem for us. To be honest, we didn't take advantage of the free breakfast so can't comment on that, but the dining area was large so will give grace that it was at least decent. There was also a good restaurant right next door. We walked to most other places we went, so good location. Felt safe.

Had a nice experience staying in this hotel. The breakfast was good. The only thing they could have provided in the room is coffee maker which is a normal standard for every hotel room.

Breakfast area was spacious but options were somewhat limited. No hot food options other than waffles (eggs, potatoes, sausage). Only protein was yogurt and hard boiled eggs.

We were blown away by how spacious our room was! We could set up the play pin for our one year old, and take that down and set up his pack and play, with room to spare! We really enjoyed the balcony common area as well. 5 minute walk to the hot springs, and dining options just as close.

The room is clean, extra touch on towels soft and new, linens are soft and smells fresh and clean.

I am hesitant to use “at this price” as a justification for the high review. Reality is, this place was worth at least twice what we paid during this shoulder season. Host was amazing, place was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchenette room was perfect.

Place is older but wears it well. One dead giveaway is the caulking in the bathroom. It usually looks like a kids fingerpainting, making it hard to clean. This was nearly perfect and was reflected in overall cleanliness. Staff was great. Breakfast selections were basic but all good. Would be happy to stay here again.

The best option to go for when going to Glenwood Springs

Very economical place. Well worth it. Nice breakfast with good coffee, a plus. Would totally recommend if you're looking for nice, clean, affordable.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, expectations exceeded! The room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed, and the property was nicely located and walkable to down-town. We mostly just left our car parked the whole time. Breakfast had a decent selection too, and all staff were very nice.

The hotel and area feel really safe. We hadn't stayed here before but would again. The property and beds are really clean. It's not new but has been updated and maintained so it's sort of cute retro without even trying. Where ever you're from be aware that temperatures here can fluctuate faster and wider than at your house. Bring clothing for every weather and prepare for a great stay.

Easy parking. Staff was nice. Heater and air conditioner worked. Room was clean. Floor was bowed up in one area as if the flooring underneath (plywood?) was warped. Carpet felt damp to me. No soap in shower (mounted on shower wall). I reported it first day but was not replenished before we left on the second day. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful and kept everything replenished. Average older hotel stay.

The cons: during the night our refrigerator would run through a loud cycle every few hours. It wasn't constant but it did wake us up. Mattresses were not comfortable for us. They were soft with little support. Overall though, if you're looking for a good value in an relatively expensive area, this hotel checks the boxes.

Ok a bed for the night

Room was clean, Breakfast choices were plentiful. Older facility. Parking was good. Front desk person was friendly and welcoming when we checked in.

Whenever I’m in the area, this is my go to place, always accommodating.

We were traveling from southwest Colorado to Denver & stayed here for a night. The property is very convenient to access from the highway, inn-style clean rooms, easy parking, friendly staff and most importantly they had multi course hot & cold complimentary breakfast. There are many shops & restaurants in walkable distance and this part of the city has beautiful sidewalks and walking pathways.

We will forever stay here when we come to town We tried to extend our stay because we liked it there so much but they were already booked! 10/10 the best place to stay in Glenwood!!

This is a perfect central location. The rooms were clean . Free breakfast. Not a fancy property. My suggestion to the staff. Please make sure your soap dispensers are full. We had 2 and both were completely empty.

This is our second time staying here. The location is PERFECT because we could walk to Glenwood Hot Springs. The room was immaculate, and we loved the free breakfast.

Both the manager and her adult daughter were very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and fresh met our need.

We have stayed in Glenwood Springs near the hot springs pool several times. This is the first time we have stayed at this property. The outside of this property has not changed for years and is certainly in need of a face;lift. That said, the room was comfortable and quiet. The environmental controls were good. There was a good-sized refrigerator with a small freezer. The breakfast was more than adequate. The property is within easy walking distance of the pool. All in all, this was a good place to stay and was a good value.

Room was mediocre. When I turned on the heat the smoke detector went off (due to a foul smoky smell). The place is convenient but (apart from being cheap) has nothing to recommend it.

Glenwood Springs is a fun little town with activities for everyone.

We selected this property for a 1 night stay because it was reasonably priced and seemed to be conveniently located. Although it is an older property, the rooms were fine, and although not large, did have an area as you entered with a sink, mirror etc plus microwave and fridge and area for luggage. And the proximity to both the downtown and hot springs is excellent.

Very clean, updated, kitchenette were all great. Did not like not having a coffee maker in the room 😞 and they don't accept late check outs. They provided some offers to keep our stuff and to hang out in the business center. But I was really sick and just needed fifteen minutes more, and it wasn't allowed.

A bit outdated. Carpet spray or cleaner they use have far to many artificial scents.

The property itself is an older building but looks to have been remodeled, as the rooms where nice and clean.

Great staff!

Stayed for 1 night over Labor Day weekend, plenty of people around so we felt pretty safe. Property is split by a diner in the middle. Rooms are decent, there was a very strong perfume smell when we first entered but it dissipated soon enough. One gripe though was that the A/C functioned very sporadically; it would take way too long to start up again when the room lost its cooling (and the weather was quite warm which didn't help) but otherwise we had a good enough stay.

Walking distance to everything, staff was super friendly...especially the morning breakfast lady. I would stay here again if i ever came back.

Front desk check-in was excellent. Comfortable, spacious room and newly renovated bathroom. The carpet was a little old but everything else was so clean that didn't bother us too much. You can tell there is care put into the facilities. With a 7am start time, the breakfast is a little too late for early hikers.

The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. Appreciate the fridg,freezer and microwave in the room. Also appreciate the nice bath which is rare. Finally, they have an automatic waffle making machine that I always hope for. They even had 2 very nice people assisting with the many breakfast options.

This hotel was very convenient to the freeway. Walking distance to restaurants and a gas station. The hot springs were close by. This was a great location. The room was large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was awesome in a cute dining building. They had waffles, bagels, yogurt and hard boiled eggs.

The location is perfect—just across the bridge from all the downtown shops and restaurants, so we could walk to everything but still enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. Best part? My wife, who’s notoriously hard to please when it comes to lodging, even gave it two thumbs up. That alone is worth five stars. We'd absolutely stay here again!

The AC only went down to 66. There were no blackout curtains. The rude rude people above us were stomping and wrestling. Staff was very nice and there were NO bed bugs! Beds were ok. Shower and bathroom were small.

We stayed here on our way to Aspen, the town was very smoky from the nearby wildfire but the air in the room was good. The A/C worked great and was quiet, the room was pretty spacious and clean. This seems to be a popular spot for motorcyclists, but they were the quietest bunch of bikers I've ever seen, very chill. Several dining options within a 5 minute walk, including a really good Bavarian breakfast place with delicious pastries right next door.

My stay in Glenwood Springs was truly exceptional. The bed, blankets, and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, providing great recommendations for local attractions and activities. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, whose dedication and pride in their establishment were evident in every detail. Their hard work and commitment to excellence made my experience all the more memorable.

Great breakfast, room clean and really good.

Rooms are very noisy. They started vacuuming in the room above us at 830. Vacuum is loud but based on our room doesn't work well. WOKE all of us. Also the beds are rock hard. Cleaning staff was very nice as we switched iut towels with them and also got an extra trash bag. We will never recommend this place or come back .

The Hotel was very convenient between the pool and the Caverns.

The person attending breakfast was very nice and accommodating and the coffee was ok, but I wouldn't call anything food, except for the bananas. We went to a restaurant for breakfast.

Great place to stay that is within walking distance to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. It was also convenient to walk to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase discount tickets for the pool there.

I checked out and needed a room to hop on a meeting and the staff provided me with the space I needed, and they also are able to store your luggage while you venture out.
