There was junkies And crackheads running around if I did pay upfront I would not had stayed there I had got there late with my children. I was crime out of town and did not know. The security lock was broken on the door I had to move the refrigerator to secure the door. There were socks in the corner and stains on the sheets it was terrible. I will never ever ever stay there again people walked ABD cussed all night.

Sink faucet was damaged and wouldn't turn properly. Restroom floor was a little dirty. There was a stain on the bench in the restroom area that we avoided entirely. Bed was clean. Went to try the offered breakfast on our second morning and was greeted by cereal with no milk. Other than that, there were just slices of bread and English muffins. We did not attend breakfast for the rest of our stay. The exterior of the building was well kept and staff was always helpful and available. Parking lot felt safe with several cameras. On site laundry was convenient. For the price, it was alright but I would not return knowing all the other properties available in the area.

There was a sign on the case that contained bagels and bread items that said Limit One and since the was only one person I saw in the breakfast area during my stay, I question how fresh the bread items are. There were no hangers in the room to hang clothes (shirts for example). The hotel only has one ironing board and the front desk also had to provide me with the iron. Interestingly my “non-smoking” room had an ashtray on the dresser. Also, the safety bar in the shower was loose and would be useless in event of someone needing it. Gaps around the door allowed some bugs to get in.

The pictures are very deceiving, this is located in a dangerous area. Most of the doors have gaps from where they’ve been kicked in. Lots of questionable activities happening outside would not recommend and would rather sleep in my car.

Air conditioning staff

The hotel had all sorts of problems from room key deactivations, at least one everyday, to breakfast amenities being broken. When your breakfast options are grab and go bagels and fruit you go to the local McDonald a block away. Go CHEAP place to stay but will consider different near airport options in the future.

VERY noisy. A/C didn’t cool the room. Needs complete update and renovation. Front desk staff were very nice and friendly!

It had stuff to eat but it was not continental. It had no egg, waffles, jelly, cream cheese, juice, tea. All it had was muffin and fruit. The space in the room is fine. The furniture needs to be changed. You can see the previous stains and wear and tear. Must be lacking staff because no one was at the desk to check me out. I had to give it to a staff member that came while I was in my car looking for the number to call the desk asking me if something was wrong in the room. Nothing seemed wrong except the bed frame that had something sticking out and I keep knocking my foot on it and the shower that if you didnot pull the knob right the water would barely come from the shower. How can you put me in a room you got a report saying it has a problem. This is my first time and it would be my last. Also it has no elevator.

A work in progress. Don’t be fooled by the older exterior appearance . Clean updated rooms and a great staff. Pool looked clean and was used by other guests. Good coffee. I didn’t have breakfast. I recommend Carolina’s Diner for great home cooked food.

Upon arrival, the staff could not locate my reservation and blamed Expedia for the issue. As a result, I had to wait over an hour for the situation to be resolved. This was especially frustrating because I was traveling with my elderly mother and we were left waiting until approximately 2:30 a.m. before the reservation was finally sorted out. Overall, the cleanliness, condition of the room, and poor handling of the reservation issue made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this property.

Staff was super nice. But that place needs a lot of work the non smoking rooms smelled horrible like smoke. The faucets were falling apart. The mini fridge made bad noises. Just not a place I would ever stay at again.

In the morning another person, which looked like he was intoxicated, was harassing my dad asking about a phone that they didn’t even see at any point, he even threw his room card to my dad’s car, which made them really uncomfortable and had to leave the hotel early in the morning to avoid any situation.

Amazingly laid back

I was initially given the wrong room, although the front desk clerk was kind and helpful in correcting it. Unfortunately, the replacement room was awful. It was dirty, smelled bad, and had crumbs everywhere. The air conditioning did not work at all and would not even turn on despite it being over 90 degrees outside. The smoke detector also went off repeatedly, especially whenever the shower was turned on. The next morning, I spoke with a maintenance worker outside who temporarily stopped the alarm, but he explained he was only an outside contractor and would notify hotel maintenance. No one ever came. The room phone was unusable — missing buttons and not connected to any cord — so I had no reliable way to contact the front desk while my cell phone battery was dying after a full day of travel. The towels were tiny, and there were essentially no amenities provided. I requested a full refund, but I keep being told the manager is unavailable or will “call back.” I booked through Expedia, and even they have received the same response from the hotel with no follow-up. Do not stay at this hotel.

The reasons I took off a star and also another star are the following. 1) I tried 2 rooms that were listed as non-smoking but the smell of smoke hit me as I walked through the doors. The place still has smoking rooms and clearly in the past smoking has been pervasive in all the rooms and may still shift to the non-smoking rooms in a pinch. The staff loaned me some air freshener and I used it on the second room to make it tolerable. 2) the A/C was loud in normal mode and only if you put it in "E-Save" I think it was could I reduce the noise of the compressor.

To put it bluntly it's a shitehole. Parking lot is all torn up, potholes & cracks everywhere; rooms are dingy and not well maintained; upon checking in I took a quick nap to wake up in a puddle of sweat because yhe AC broke in the 30 minutes of me napping. Room I was switched to smelled horrible and tub was dirty, paint cracked & repainted over. Meh section of town. 2 pluses: the staff is VERY nice & helpful & the breakfast is decent.

I had to cross through the laundry room to access my room, and the floor was practically flooded. The room I stayed in was non smoking, however, as soon as you open the door you are hit with an immediate wave of cigarette odor to the point it gave me a headache. Everything was stained from the furniture, walls, carpet, and even the ceiling. I genuinely felt unclean staying in the room to the point I slept with my outside clothes on and a jacket so that my bare skins did not touch the sheets… On top of that, there is about an inch gap from the ground to the bottom of the door, anything could have made their way into the room. I would not recommend this inn, even in desperate need of a place to sleep like I was. With all that said, the staff was very nice!

Parking was easy and the area was quiet except for the occasional aircraft noise. The doors are to the outside and you could see through a crack in the door to the outside. Made it feel a little unsafe. Expected better from a names brand hotel and looked better in the pics.

For the price and short notice it was just "ok". Room smelled like smoke. I had to sign a waiver about paying $500 if I smoked in the room, but clearly others have, so I understand. There was even a cigarette burn in the comforter. The door didn't close properly (seemed as is the door had been kicked in before or something). I had to get my keycard reprogrammed more than 3 times (the cards were NOT kept near my phone). There was no iron in the room and the curtains were falling down and there were tiny roaches crawling on the vanity (I saw 2 in the morning after I arrived), but again for the price you can't really complain, but you asked so I shared my experience.

Room was mostly clean, though there was still food in the fridge from the last guest, and the bathtub didn't plug. Those aside, the staff was amazing, parking was easy, the lobby was nice, and the rooms were nice.

First of all, we did not get the room that we paid for. It was one full size bed rather than a queen. It was late so we were too tired to contest. Our room was clean overall but did not resemble the pictures on Expedia. The furniture had missing hardware & pulls. There were touched up spots on the walls & doors that did not match. There were also places that needed touch ups. The sheets & towels were clean but one of the sheets was very rough & stiff like it had not been washed before its first use. The plumbing was installed backwards & there was an electrical short at the bathroom switch by the sink. There was a lot of movement of cars & people throughout the night, & we awoke to two police vehicles parked outside our room. We also could hear snoring from someone next door. I will not be staying here again. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but it looked nice.

The parking lot was the best thing I will say about this facility. That's because the parking space was right outside of my door! I have several photos to show. One includes the toilet seat with water splashed on it which, obviously, came down from the ceiling! Also, although the sign said "no smoking", the room reeked of smoke. And, there was an Ash Tray on the dresser! There was no clock.

At the beginning of my stay was great. Separate from the noice of the airline arriving. Friendly staffs and easy point to go in and out of the hotel. The very disappointing events occurred was that there were next door neighbor who were screaming and yelling banging on the walls and the door making a lot of noice at 2:00am. The police was called twice to stop the disturb this neighbors were causing, when the police left, one of the conflicting neighbor thru a heavy object to the room window and cracked it badly. It is a shame how unhealthy people snick into a good hotel and bring their problems to an establishment that is only there to give a good rest place for others on the road. A big advice to the manager… PLEASE PUT BIG SIGNS IN EVERY ROOM AND THE PARKING LOT THAT BAD BEHAVIOR AND DISTURBINGY SITUATION ARE NOT TOLERATE IN THIS HOTEL. ANY DISTURBING WILL BE REPORTED TO POLICE ENFORCEMENT” These signs in your establishment including each room and guess room and dinning area shows. It will help to filter those unhealthy misbehave ones who doesn’t understand the respect of others. The disturbing behavior should not be tolerated. I lost a full night of sleep because of this insistent. I just want to mention to other travels to beware of this type of misbehavior not to tolerate and report right away before escalate to a unhealthy environment. This hotel is very good, good staffs and good food.

Was placed in room while maintenance was fixing floor and wife is pregnant and maintenance had tools sitting in front of laundry machine making inaccessible and also ac vent filters have not been changed in years so get ready too breath in full chunks of brown dust and dirt

It was my first and last stay here, I didnt feel safe here. Someone took my jewelry. When I reported it to the front desk I was told that a manager would get in touch with me, no one did. I brought it up again upon checking out and was given a card for the manager. I was leaving to catch a flight to California at 3 AM in the morning from North Carolina. Im home and no one has followed up.

Bed was soso, pillows need upgrading. Bugs in the room crawling in bathroom area. Non-smoking room had ashtray and smelled like smoke.

The ice machine was not working. No housekeeping was included, although it was stated in the ads that it was to be included. The linen was very thin and limited. The TV would not connect to any network stations. Breakfast was very limited.

The bad news, everything else. 1st, bugs, bugs , bugs, every day I was there ( 5 days) but yhe last one. I had to go to the office to get, a hair dryer, ( suppose to be there according to the website) , bar soap for the shower, hangers, ( none in the room ) and a blanket. The bed was moderately comfortable, the entire room was dingy and in need of a redo. I have NO idea how anyone could have given a 10 in their review. Here's the part that made me kinda laugh: In the breakfast area, the bagels were all halfed and each half was wrapped in cellophane, then there was a sign that read , only 1 per guest, they're so cheap, they don't want to give guests a whole bagel. The employees, who as I said , were all fabulous, deserve a nicer place to work

The staff was friendly, however, the door lock looked and felt like it was ready to just fall apart. The door did not fit the door frame - there was a large 3/4" gap that ran from bottom of door up to around 3' high allowing outsiders to see right into the room. The bathtub would not drain effectively. The water had risen 3" above my ankles after a short shower. There was a large 6" diameter sticky spot on the floor - I decided to keep my shoes on to walk around in the room, as the floor was no cleaner than a dirty city sidewalk. I began to eat an orange offered from the front desk at check-in and it seemed to be quite old - the orange was breaking down inside and did not seem fresh. The room was advertised as a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly like an ashtray. I arrived at close to 11:30PM, so there was not much hope of finding a new room or even another hotel. When I met my work associates the next morning, one of them asked me if I had been smoking, and I don't smoke. The smell had permeated my clothing even in my luggage - I did not unpack to try to limit this contamination. The sheets seemed clean, but the "blanket" was nothing more than a printed sheet, and though it was not noticeably dirty, it did not seem to have been recently cleaned. The AC worked fine, so I was able to set the temperature higher so I was not cold "under the blanket". It was a fairly awful hotel. I will not be returning to this one - too much deferred maintenance.

Overwhelmed with the smell of weed room had lots of mold in the bathroom and bed looked like it might have had bedbugs. Front desk seemed somewhat understanding refused to give me a refund even though I did not stay then rented to someone else.

Clean room, with fridge and microwave, continental breakfast is fine, this is one of the better hotels and I would definitely stay again. At this price it’s a great hotel. Safe and easy for all routes.

Very poor experience. Not sure what other rooms were like at this facility but ours looked nothing like the photos online. Our non smoking room smelled heavily of stale smoke. The room was dirty and run down. Stains under the mattress (checked for bed bugs) and broken electrical outlet. No remote for the TV. Breakfast offered very few options. Friendly staff was only positive I can share about this experience.

I do not recommend this place as I was walking in my room and I had a piece of glass pierce my foot. Housekeeping cleaning team clearly does not own a vacuum or hasn’t vacuum in weeks

The email confirmation I received said check out was noon. The housekeeper was knocking at the door at 11:04am. We told her we were leaving at 12 and she said no, check out is 11am. We didn’t feel like arguing so we rushed to pack and left. No blanket on the bed; just a very thin top sheet and the decorative cover. Water randomly gets extremely hot every 30 seconds, without touching the knob. Definitely won’t be staying here again. Not worth the price at all.

Good hotel, I had an issue, and the staff immediately resolved it. Walking distance from stores and restaurants. Parking was always available and the breakfast is not too bad.

I checked in, got my key to my supposed to be clean room. However, I just got off work and wanted to shower… turned the shower on, and then notice there was no wash cloths, ok cool. At this point, the water is running, clothes off, go to use the toilet and there is poop in the toilet. I go to the front desk to now, asks for a clean room or a refund. She tells me there are no rooms available and now she can’t refund me my

The hotel was really bad! We stayed two times traveling to and from the great Smoky Mountains. First room was dirty with holes in the walls. The second rooms floor was so warped the drawers in the dresser would randomly open themselves. This also made a huge gap under the door, big enough that my kids could give each other high-fives with the door closed!! The second night was crazy loud…ya huge “ event center” next next door was having a big party that didn’t stop until 2am! Ac unit was broken and refrigerator didn’t work!

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked properly. The staff was courteous. The only problem was there was some people outside arguing very loudly and a few people partying outside, which was OK would’ve preferred. They weren’t and if you’re not a smoker, you will smell smoke, My Wife and I are smokers so it didn’t bother us. They do have Smoking rooms available there if you’re a smoker overall for a cheaper motel room it was a very good experience.

Was a great price for a good place for a needed night sleep

Arrived late for checkin around 10pm. You can't go inside. You have to stand outside and talk through a window. Was put into a room at the back, upstairs. Went in and the floor was rotted through under the carpet. The room REAKED. It was apparently a smoking room? Which i never requested. Stepped a few more feet in, and the fridge/microwave were both broken. Thats when we spotted the FIRST roach. Followed by dozens more. Dead and alive, in the beds, on the furniture, in the sink, crawling out of the tub and sink drains. It was the grossest place i had ever been to. No phone in the room, so had to call customer service who patched me through to the front desk. I informed of the roaches, and there was no shock, no disgust, no anything. She honestly seemed irritated that I was taking issue with it. Didn't offer a new room. I had to ask. So i have to go all the way back to the front to get keys for the new non-smoking room. Again, no apology or anything. New room was roach free, but still smelled, and had a ton of mold all over the ceilings. Bedding was a sheet and what felt like a curtain for a blanket. No roaches, but other bugs. Asked for extra towels as they only give 2, and wss told they wont do that, you have to bring your dirty towels to the front desk to exchange them. The door didnt close all the way, even locked there was a gap to the outside. This is the place that sketchy things happen and you end up on 60 minutes. You get what you pay for. Trust me, pay more.

She was extremely polite, knowledgeable, professional, accommodating. As far as the property is concerned, I would only utilize this facility to put convicts a place to stay. The door had obviously been kicked in at some point due to the broken door, the piece of metal screwed into the door to hold it back together to allow the door to lock, and the malfunctioning key system. I should have turned around whenever I saw this however, I decided to go in, and after the third attempt to use the key, I finally got the green light was able to open the door where I was swiftly met with the unstable stench of a room that had been smoked in from the day. It was open until quite possibly the night before. The smell was foul, and made me almost wanted to throw up. Despite the smell, I stepped in and was immediately greeted by a smoke detector that was chirping due to a low battery, or quite possibly was in a death spiral from all of the cigarettes smoke it had come into contact with, and it’s lifetime of being installed in the room. It was at this point I decided that this was not for me. I had initially attempted to obtain a refund, but decided that I would not request one so that this review would have to stay up forever. do not stay here

I have bedbug bites on my arms and legs. I let the front desk lady know and even showed her and she did not offer a solution. She tried to say it was measles but I have the vaccine and I used to run a hotel and know what they look like. There was no zippered encasement on the mattress either. Someone tried to open my door in the middle of the night on the first night. Also, the air conditioner was so loud. The staff was nice but there was a terrible stay and I will not be staying there again.

Room smelled of weed when it was a nonsmoking room. Other guests were loud and obnoxious at night outside. Appears that some of the guests live here. Planes were super loud at night. When I complained the front desk lady just said “ oh well” we did not get a refund and stayed somewhere else the second night in the area.

The room looked like it had never been maintained. The floor would move on certain areas I stepped on, the toilet kept running and would require me to flush it twice. There was no clock in the entire room. The seating bench next to the TV looked like it had stains that had never been cleaned off.

The staff were very kind and welcoming when I checked in and checked out. The room was unexceptionally, disappointing. The plumbing did not work. The walls and shelving systems were not anchored properly, and the doors were not satisfactory and feeling secure in private. Even in the non-smoking section, it was strongly evident that there was smoking occurring with use of marijuana. The bed was OK, but had no blanket. Only two sheets and I had to turn the heat up for it to be comfortable to sleep.

Yes the rooms were neglicted the air & heating unit was filled with blaxk mold & dust ,mattress suken the the middle which cause my back to hurt; frame support beams stick out from under foundation cause me to hit my ankles,, patint peeling over bathtub, large gap in entry door where there should have been weather stripping, allowing cold air to come in. I was moved from one prrblem room to the next and a housekeeking staff that did not speak english to understand my housekeeping needs and no phones.

Okay so first when I got there I thought it was going to be okay but I went to the room and it was filthy I mean disgusting. There was a used condom on the nightstand a cup with cigarettes and water in it. The beds were not made and there were roaches everywhere. I told the manager immediately. She gave us another room it was cleaner but as soon as the sun went down there was roaches everywhere I mean everywhere. I will not be staying there ever again.
