Only building in town to lose electricity after 20 min of light rain. No a/c sweat all night to wake up to a pitch black bathroom so no bathing either. Asked manager for some sort of refund instead she yelled at me for 10 min, telling me everything was my fault lol, then completely ignored me. Said her name 30 times, didn’t look up, and she just left. Never experienced anything like this from choice hotels but it is what it is. Don’t stay here!
- 3.5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable Breakfast was sparse on offerings
- 4/5
One Nite stay, clean, no problems, bring your own hair dryer, TV is confusing.
- 2.5/5
Very outdated. The staff was not friendly. The elevator was TINY and reeked. Not sure what the odor was but yuck. You get what you pay for. It was cheap and decent for just 1 night but I would not rebook.
- 5/5
clean room no issues really liked the stay
- 3.5/5
The room was large, with a nice desk. The breakfast was poor. The waffle maker was the only plus. Two kinds of cereal, 2 juices, but no eggs or meat. The WiFi was very SLOOWWWW
- 4/5
Clean room at reasonable price
- 3/5
We were charged an extra $20 for the room to be non-smoking when it was not advertised as “smoking.” Hall carpets had visible debri. Shampoo did not lather well. Room was clean. Bathtub had hair in it.
- 1/5
Room was filthy and nothing worked. When we call the front desk and tried to tell them that the a/c was stuck on heat and the room was 78 degrees she said to turn the a/c up to 80 and then it would work. It only made the room hotter (obviously). We called again and she ignore our call 3 times. The hair dryer started smoking when we tried to us it.
- 1/5
Smoke smell all around. Doesn’t suit for families with kids. Not clean.
- 3.5/5
The prices Nothing at the moment
- 3.5/5
There was no tea or coffee machine. When I arrived home from work last night, I wanted to have a coffee, but there wasn't one. I went out to get some coffee.
- 2.5/5
clean room not coat rack or hangers

- 1/5
Rude staff dirty rooms
- 2.5/5
Cleanliness, and poor customer service.
- 1/5
Room with cigarettes stains and marks, sheets with cigarettes burn and bathroom got dirt coming out of it, horrible staff very negative and mean and nasty attitude, he made my stay very uncomfortable and the hotel just horrible it self and definitely don’t look clean at all, the bed sheets were so bad it felt like it started to itch
- 1.5/5
Breakfast was not very good at all. Of course we didn't come for the breakfast, but the coffee was atrocious, and there wasn't much selection for breakfast. Hotel was very dirty a lot of trash around the outside of the facility. There was one or two cars in the parking lot that did not run or the windows were busted out.
- 2.5/5
I chose this hotel for the price and it mentioned a fitness room. There was no fitness room
- 0.5/5
Honestly if I could rate this a ZERO or BELOW ZERO I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD 100%! The foreign manager or whatever he is, is the ABSOLUTE WORST EMPLOYEE i have ever met at any hotel I have ever stayed at. Booked the room for my family members and he refused to let them stay in the room I payed for, for my family he is an absolute jerk and has no hospitality or feelings. VERY VERY RUDE, IGNORANT, DISRESPECTFUL!! NEEDS to be FIRED and someone else needs to be hired.
- 3.5/5
Out dated at check in seemed to be told what could do such as don't overflow tub odd was called day before stay telling me there was no smoking or pets allowed. Call was unessential when it listed is stated in description of room and posted at check in desk
- 0.5/5
AJ was working and was completely rude and disrespectful and wouldn’t allow me to go up to my brother in laws room to pick up my son. He was giving attitude and cursing at me
- 0.5/5
Staff customer service sucked and entire building smelled like cigarettes
- 4/5
The Breakfast Bar was a joke. It was almost Coffee and donuts.
- 4/5
Absolutely, as always. Staff always accommodating to your needs
- 4/5
Yes everything.
- 0.5/5
Disrespected by staff and didn't get my deposit when I left and the owe me for a day I accidentally booked for same night Nothing
- 5/5
I enjoy the staff who were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and looked presentable. I truly enjoyed my time there.
- 4/5
Person behind the counter was very courteous and helpful at checking & checkout. The hallways do show a bit of age of the property. Overall it is nicely kept. I came downstairs to get some breakfast. The place was basically shut down already. There were still ten minutes left available for breakfast as indicated by the sign on counter at front desk. An employee saw me enter the breakfast room and said they had just put things away and asked what I wanted to eat. She was particularly kind and helpful. She actually made me a waffle and was nice overall.
- 5/5
N/A
- 5/5
The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and the room was nice and clean.
- 2/5
It was dinghy and rundown the place is disgusting
- 4/5
Was not impressed
- 1/5
Booked this place through Expedia. I couldn't stay here for the seven days because my travel work schedule was changed. I tried to ask for a refund but they wouldn't give me one, even though I never checked in. They took my money for the whole 7days. No Refund
- 4/5
Everything was wonderful. Fast and easy check in. Nothing wrong with or missing from room. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Na, never ate breakfast
- 2/5
Having stayed in other Days Inns, this one is well below the others in looks and accommodations within the room. The bed was terrible. I woke up with back pain from sleeping. Recommend tearing down the DAays Inn and starting with a new building that is more in line with what is expected of a days Inn.
- 2/5
I would not recommend.
- 5/5
Was just ok
- 2/5
There was an unexpected $50 security deposit required to stay. The whole place had a funky smell, and the elevator reeked of weed.
- 1/5
.. i am amazed Wyndham would put they name on it
- 2/5
Dirty
- 2/5
Lobby area clean. Much needed repairs to carpet, frame around window poor condition.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
The hotel was in the ideal location for us and we were able to book it last minute.
- 5/5
All around good place especially being in the area it’s in. Best! Hands down
- 3/5
Evening receptionist was gruff, we were traveling with a dog and a "dog friendly" hotel, where they dont seem to like dogs. Bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom area was worn, rough.
- 1/5
I requested early check in thru Expedia because I had a migraine after a procedure at the nearby hospital. Upon arrival I was told there were no rooms available (despite the empty parking lot). Then “Joe” said I could check in early for an extra $50 cash. Then he added that there was an additional $100 cash security deposit. He was extremely rude during the whole conversation. And the two requests for cash made me very uncomfortable. I never received room keys and immediately left because frankly I felt kind of threatened. He refused to refund my credit card despite never allowing me into a room when I didn’t feel comfortable giving him extra cash I have since been told that the Hagerstown “dual highway “ location is notorious for drugs, prostitution and cars being broken into. I’m simply asking to be refunded for a stay that I couldn’t check in for thru no fault of my own.
- 2/5
Desk Clerk Charged $50 security deposit to credit card at check in that was never refunded/backed out after checkout.
- 5/5
The stay was ok.. Only thing was the price giving at time of booking was different from how much I had to pay upon arrival checking in. Also was not aware of deposit being as much
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
lack of hanging bars or hooks
- 4/5
No Hanging bars or hooks>
- 2/5
The hotel smelled like smoke, the amenities like vending and the ice machine did not work/out of service. Although we we're staying for 1 night, it just seemed like a motel, sleezy, drug riddled low class spot.
- 1/5
I will never return to this place again. The cigarette smoke that was in the air stuck on clothes. My children wouldn’t stop coughing. It’s amazing how this hotel says no smoking but that’s all this place smells like. Worst experience ever.
- 5/5
Room needs more updating (carpet). But new bath, furn and paint
- 3/5
Poor quality in
- 4/5
Good and cheap
- 2/5
Ice machine broken. Underaverage coffee
- 1/5
Seem to be old and run down. Non-smoking room smell like smoke. Had to buy Lysol to make the room tolerable.
- 5/5
A place to sleep. Bed was hard. Needed more pillows. But the spa tub in the room was worth it
- 5/5
The agent who received us at the front desk was very kind and nice. we were there for just a night but my kids and I really appreciate our staying. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
- 1/5
We reserve a room with two adults two children because one of the kiddos was going to her aunt house for the night. The guy at the front desk was very rude and hateful toward us and said only four is allowed in the room. I explained to him we know that, that what we reserved the room for. He said 5 people walked in with you. I said yes I know one of the kiddos is going to her aunts. He continued to be rude and raised his voice and said this is not Ohio and we only allow 4 in a room. By then I was getting upset because we done nothing wrong. We was just dropping our stuff off. Then my husband told him our granddaughter is just visiting. He said no visitors is allowed. So I said we don’t need to stay here, just refund our money. He told us no and told us if we don’t stay we are out of our money. Also after checking in he said the elevator doesn’t work. I asked if we could get something on first floor because I won’t be able to walk the stairs. He said no. Then when we got up stairs I called down and ask if we could get couple pillows. He said if you walk down here I will give you two pillows but you will come to me. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone
- 5/5
This place is clean secure and for the most part drug-free which in Hagerstown is difficult to find
- 5/5
Quiet and safe
- 1/5
Booked this place for my family when they came in town and it was one of the worst experiences for them, no hot water and constantly being bothered by the staff for having guest for a short amount of time, I’d rather put them in a 2 star motel.
- 5/5
Safe
- 3/5
Get what you pay for…I should have paid more…
- 2/5
The property wad out dated lobby was a mess. Had problem with tv tried to call the front desk 3 times had to go down elevator to speak to manager she came up gave new remote. Room was outdayed. Very noisey could hear traffic from highway all time didnt get alot of sleep. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable
- 3/5
The property could definitely use some updating and figuring out their water. The sink would get warm, but the shower would not get passed a lukewarm temp. Things could definitely be worse, but the main things people want- a clean bed and a hot shower. Overall i would say it's an average hotel and stay. The front desk clerk was very friendly. That's always a perk!
- 5/5
Nice easy stop over.
- 1/5
Small parking lot
- 1/5
I never got my deposit back the rooms were dirty I wanted a non smoking room didn’t get it smelled like weed 24-7 never again will I go there
- 4/5
It was a good stay but we couldn't get in our room because the key wouldn't work so we had to get a new one. Room was very nice. Bed was comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was okay. Not a lot to offer though. Cereal and waffles were the main choices. Overall it was good.
- 3/5
Can definitely feel the age and not ideal construction standards of the building. It was clean though
- 5/5
Was good
- 1/5
Terrible!!! Do not go here. Dirty and sketchy people. Very outdated and run down. Horrible staff. Don’t be fooled because the Wyndham name is associated with it. It was a terrible experience!
- 4/5
Decent room. Ample breakfast. Nothing really in walking distance.
- 5/5
We were given a free upgrade to a nicer room due to a double booking error. Very good customer service.
- 3/5
It is dirty with renovations being done and workers tracking everything all over the place. There was no ventilation from the fumes of glue and paint. Couldn’t park in the handicap areas because of the supplies in the parking area. They advertising free breakfast that should be closed down. Two loaves of bread 3 apples, 7 hard boiled eggs. Water down juice etc.
- 3/5
Construction going on, so a bit noisy. Breakfast items were more limited than other Days Inns.
- 1/5
Nothing. 1st room had not even been clean. Told guy at desk and he acted like he didn't believe us. Went to the room...gave us another, smelled bad. Bottom floor was being remodled. Needed it badly. Or even gut the whole thing and start over. Elevator made noise so we decided to take stairs down from 4th floor. Sign on door outside said not an exit. Door back into building was locked. FIRE hazzard. Never again...
- 1/5
Wasnt very clean.
- 4/5
Everything was good to me
- 3/5
Overall it was OK. The property is being renovated, so there are construction materials all over. Other reviews indicate this has been going on for over a year, so slow progress... the elevator definitely needs replacing. The breakfast was lackluster. The oddest thing though, was the $50 cash deposit we had to give at check in. They didn't return the money until they went up and inspected the room. I've never paid a deposit like this before. Having a card on file for incidentals/potential damage is one thing, this was something else altogether. The bed was not the best, but not the worst. Very busy/ noisy area, which the hotel can't really do anything about, but it added to the overall under-average experience.
- 3/5
As soon as I entered, the lights were flickering like in horror movies. Walking up to my room, the hallway windows were broken. Luckily the AC in my room worked, but the overall experience wasn’t luxurious. You can’t bring your breakfast TO-GO, and MUST eat/drink it in the breakfast area. If I had known this, I would’ve went to another hotel that didn’t provide breakfast to save the extra $10.
- 5/5
Under remodel. Like a construction site will be really nice when done
- 3/5
They are remodeling and should have done a better job at how they handled the project.
- 1/5
The tub was filthy the room was supposed to be non-smoking and it smelled. The carpet was filthy did not dare to put my feet on it. Won’t recommend to go there.
- 2/5
No plates for waffles Could they find a smaller ceral bowl? 2 to 5 days to refund a 50$ deposit? This place said cheap all over it after convo With front desk Will not stay again!
- 5/5
I feel very safe and it was very quiet.
- 1/5
No Air Conditioning at 85 degrees.
- 3/5
Management was argumentative when I asked for assistance in using my shower chair in the bath tub.
- 1/5
Dilapidated and seedy, the elevator stank of cigarettes, carpeting filthy in the hallways, small pillows that felt like they were stuffed with cotton balls, small TV with no WiFi to access streaming services, window overlooking a dismal parking lot with people napping their cars or getting evicted with all their belongings in plastic bags. Just a nightmare. Only hope I don’t find that I’ve acquired bedbugs. The manager was surly and unpleasant. The continental breakfast basically inedible.
- 3/5
It smelled like cigarettes and mothballs in the hallway and lobby. The room was abit shabby but clean. The rugs have stains on it. Needs replaced.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay except for the high volume traffic noise that kept us up all night. The people who ran the hotel were very helpful with our needs and sweet. For a last minute booking the price was right. Close by the Hagerstown city Park. A must see area!
- 4/5
Unfortunately the area surrounding this place is very busy. Police sirens continually sounded off the entire night. This was supposed to be a rest stop for our journey to Charleston, but no rest was achieved. I might as well kept driving. We will avoid Hagerstown on our next journey.
- 1/5
The hotel is old and not updated. I smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. Absolutely no amenities…
- 4/5
It was very weird that there was nowhere to hang clothes on hangers.
- 1/5
We actually did not even stay over night - we went for a girls night to see Celtic women in Hagerstown…sign in window said long term guests welcome- smelled of bug spray in lobby- I rang the phone for attendant - who just said pay $50 and then we will return it 4-5 days later after your stay ..which is unheard of…lobby/ outside of hotel so off putting we left and never saw room… Luckily we were able to book a hotel in person on the other side of town for the one night. Lost money as I couldn’t get any back ..disappointed
- 3/5
It's right off the main road so you can hear the traffic and everything is old but in working condition
- 1/5
This place looked decent from the outside and had a good size parking lot. The check in attendant was very very rude, nasty and unprofessional. The "breakfast" did not offer many options. The room was very small and not pleasing to the eye. Very small tv, no channel guide, only 2 towels, no shower amenities.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
Good place if your working and fairly cheap
- 1/5
The locks to get into the room barely worked. U have to pay extra if you have a dog. I would never stay again.
- 4/5
The hotel was convenient for me
- 2/5
Property was old and carpet dirty, breakfast was horrible, almost nothing but some cereal and hard heggs.
- 1/5
From the attitude of the front desk clerks to the roaches in the room this was a terrible experience. I travel a lot and this is the worst days inn I have stayed at. Even the wifi was terrible. I was traveling through for my birthday and wanted a place to stay and rest but never again Days Inn Hagerstown. Only other thing is the app needs to update the deposit because it shows 25.00 but it was 50.
- 1/5
My stay at Days Inn on Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD was the worst i have ever experienced! The maid opened my room door with her master key while i was sleeping. I didn't have any clothes on. I jumped out my sleep and I asked her what she was doing in my room. She didn't answer me and continued to walk in my room and picked up the house phone and called the front desk! I was very upset! They violated my rights and neither the maid nor the front desk clerk apologize! I was very furious!!!
- 1/5
The rooms were nice size but the shower didn’t put out hot water and the heater/ac didn’t work. The staff were nosy and mean. They did not follow the guidelines nor prices they put on this site. They claim the fee is only $25 on here but charge $50 then state they have no control over what is put on a third party site. They did not make clear the rules on guests at check in and then wished for me to vacate the property after a dispute over this fact and unwillingness to pay an additional $30 for the extra person that was not planned.
- 4/5
Room was good. Time for serving breakfast was not very long . We came down at 9:07 am & it was closed & food put away. A suggestion is to have breakfast time a little bit longer because sometimes people like to sleep in abit later. I was disappointed when we got down there to grab some breakfast and it closed at 9:00 am. Maybe they could extend the breakfast served until 10am.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean grounds, room and lobby. Competitive pricing. No issues during my short stay.
- 5/5
The staff is awesome. Ahmed at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. I've been there for months and they were very accommodating
- 3/5
Nonsmoking Room smelled like an ashtray.
- 1/5
This place really stinks outdated old blankets and then they want a 50 dollar deposit for what ??
- 1/5
Bed was terribly uncomfortable and cheap towels/blankets made it for an unpleasant stay. Overall the place was pretty shabby compared to their competitors.
- 1/5
The guy at the front was unbelievably rude denied any quests coming into my room or anyone coming in too even help me get settled into the room. Refused my daughter's coming in too say goodbye too me for the night the room was terrible too the point that I couldn't even stay it smelled terrible of smoke and mold, the hallway smelled of burning rubber, I've never smelled anything like it. It's a terrible hotel and staff is even worse. It should be closed down
- 2/5
The elevator was broken so I had to use the stairway and in the morning at the free continental breakfast the juice machine was broken down
- 1/5
Dirtiest hotel I have ever been. Motel are cleaner. Worst customer service. Harried us up to leave. Could not even bring breakfast to
- 2/5
Foyer furniture looked dirty. Room was scant. small tv hanging on wall. Small desk No other furniture except bed Will avoid Days Inn in the future
- 4/5
I can smoke in my room
- 3/5
Your typical budget motel: the whole place looks worn and smells like smoke. "Free continental breakfast " is a few supermarkets muffins pulled from a freezer or Fruit Loops and milk. Don’t think this place is working with the county to house homeland like many of their competitors, but there were several sketchy looking people hanging around all hours of the day.
- 1/5
I booked a room for the time my employer allotted I would be down there for. The employer time changed, and had to check out a day early. Spone with the hotel manager there when checking out and asked if I can get a refund for the day/night I paid for but no longer needed. Manager said because booked through a 3rd party would have to request the refund through them and that they would let the 3rd party know they accept the refund. Spoke with 3rd party who reached out to hotel and the manager lied to the 3rd party rep and said they never said that. Talk about ripping a person off to gain a few dollars for themselves and not honoring their word!
- 1/5
This the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Stained carpets, rundown halls and bedrooms, terrible breakfast offerings, slow internet and unclean rooms.
- 1/5
OMG,, It smells everywhere, carpet is dirty, the lobby looks like it is 20 years old.
- 1/5
this property was the WORST property ive ever booked its as bad or worst as the super 8 it was dirty and seamed to be on its last leg omg...
- 1/5
Will never book another Days Inn plus any posted hotel pictures will be viewed with a jaded eye. This property looked ok (not a Hilton or Hyatt but wasn’t looking for that) and was more interested in value/a clean pit stop on a weeklong road trip. Very disappointed!
- 5/5
The staff are wonderful. My room is always clean. It's very comfortable
- 1/5
The front desk staff specifically the man with glasses blue and white shirt w jeans had the WORST customer service skills I have ever experienced. He thrives in expressing everything that will not work for you instead of going the extra mile for ALL customers.
- 2/5
Was Charged $50 as a deposit That was supposed to be returned to our credit card. It’s been over a week and no credit yet. We needed an ice bucket, and the manager didn’t believe we didn’t have one, and came to our room to look. Insulting won’t be staying there again
- 2/5
Save your money and sleep in your car. This place was terrible. They were doing renovations on the first (and possibly other) floor. We were given a room on the 4th floor. The elevator was shaky and dirty. Dirty hallways, key cards didn't work (twice), fridge and microwave in room didn't work, next to no amenities (really rough, thin towels, bars of soap that were more like slivers), breakfast offerings were slim.
- 5/5
The staff were very nice and helpful. My room was aways clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
Tried to cancel a book now pay later thru expedia and was told I had to call expedia. After contacting expedia the said there was no problem and to call back the hotel. Upon calling back and talking to a very rude and nasty argumentative guy by the name of MIKE if that was his name. He said i WAS LYING TO HIM AND I DID NOT SPEEK TO EXPEDIA AND THET DIDN'T NOW ANYTHING ANY WAY. He was very argumentative and yelling at me. This is no way to treat anyone let alone a customer. I would not recomend this location to my worst enemy.
- 5/5
Under renovation, but wonderful staff and quiet.
- 1/5
Filthy dirty nasty place
- 1/5
Too far from I-81. Advertized free breakfast, but then did not offer one. When I asked for the rate to be reduced, the reply was: "There is nothing to reduce, the breakfast is free." Poorest customer service possible.
