Second stay at this property. On my first stay at checkout, I notified the staff that the room I was in had a broken TV (tv tilted at about a 20 degree angle) which made it annoying to try to watch, and a faulty receptacle by the bed that would not hold the wall lamp plug so no light by the bed. Ironically, I had the same exact room on my second stay. Nothing in the room had been repaired in the 6 weeks between stays. Also the secondary entrance that has key card access wasn’t working, so you couldn’t easily go from your car back to your room, without going through the main entrance through the lobby. Mostly just an inconvenience that can be fixed. When I reported it, I was told that sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. LOL

The location! The front desk lady was super sweet and helpful! She was probably the best I have ever had the pleasure of checking and out with at any stay! Give that lady a generous raise! Room was out dated but not a big deal! Still not a deal breaker to stay again!

Very convenient for our needs. Friendly staff. Breakfast had an assortment of items - many microwaveable but good. Coffee 24/7. Quiet since it sits up on a hill away from highway noise - there is a truck parking lot nearby but not a problem from there either. Older bldg but clean. McDonalds within walking distance. Would stay here again.

I can just use the booking site and do everything through the booking site because when I did the booking site, I was told that I still to check in through the desk.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy to find. Low shower head. I'm 6 feet tall, and the shower head was at eye level. I also wish there was coffee in the room so I didn't have to go downstairs.

There were ants in our room, including the bed and I got bit by one. Breakfast is all prepackaged foods to be heated up in 1 microwave. Did not eat breakfast because after killing the ant that bit, I kept feeling like more were crawling on me. Staff just blew it off and was rather rude. Staff at check in was slightly friendlier than morning staff, but had an attitude when I asked to let my husband sign the paperwork because my dominant arm was in a sling and the counter was too high. I specifically did not want an accessible room because I wanted a tub, but we were put in an accessible room. There is also no elevator at this hotel. I chose this hotel based on Expedua reviews and was very disappointed. One plus- the bed was comfortable.

Everything was awesome, except the VERY SMALL toilet seat. A regular toilet 🚽 is VERY helpful as you are aging. May have to consider a handicap room next time to resolve the problem 😊

The breakfast was labeled "Continental" but they had eggs, sausage and bacon in the fridge that could be heated in the microwave. And they tasted good. The shower grab bar in 104 was missing, and the room smelled musty.

Make sure if you stay there take it out of the plastic bag before you put it on the plate, the microwave will melt the plastic bag and ruined your food. The two queen beds in a handicap room when arrive to check in there wasn’t a two bed for any handicap room. They offered to not charge me for the room, if I shows a different hotel,but it was too late in the game for me to look for a different hotel. They were accommodating they allowed me to use a personal folding car chair in the tub so I could Safeway take a shower other than that everything else was fine. They could use 2 microwaves ovens for breakfast

Hotel is very clean, staff is very pleasant and location was great for my needs. Amenities are somewhat limited but there is a convenience store in walking distance and a mall with tons of restaurants and stores less than a mile away.

Denied our stay. Rude and disrespectful. No care or concern for military or their families. Worst hotel experience of my life. The staff canceled our reservation when we arrived. No explanation other than "it's policy". Apparently because I have an ID that's local we couldn't stay, however, we are in the middle of PCSing. I offered to show my orders, she rudely denied. I asked to speak to the manager about an exception to which she replied, "you're not an exception, you're not special". I told her my family and newborn were in the car and we'd been driving all day, that the baby needed to eat and be changed. She said, "not my problem". She gave me a fake phone number to call the "manager" which was just her desk number. She answered and told me again that she won't contact anyone. Disgusting. I'm posting a photo that shows their "veteran parking". Crazy, cause I'm active duty and couldn't even stay. BTW there were about 4 cars in the parking lot. Apparently they hate military so much they would rather be empty.

I have been staying at this hotel on my trips for many years . It is so clean, quiet, and well managed. The front desk manager, Ashley, was very pleasant and helpful. She made me feel welcome and cared for.

It was very easy to find. Easy on/off from interstate 81. Facility was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with large bathroom with nice complimentary toiletries. Complimentary breakfast was very nice with many choices. Check in and out was quick and simple. I would recommend this establishment. A nice touch that is not always seen in every hotel room, was the Bible in the nightstand drawer. I was pleasantly surprised.

If paying by cash, as we do, bring exact change.

Muffins and coffee were great. It got us off to a good start to our 90 mile trip home. Not a thing!

This is a great overnight stay. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The location is convenient. Nearby places to eat and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is ok, coffee is good.

The hotel was close to a truck stop and I could hear traffic all night. That didn't make for restful nights.

I didn't appreciate the experience at all, and never should a hotel be able to rent out a room that is out dated like that, or should a hotel be able to put you in a handicap room when you think you are getting a queen room because that's what you paid for. The TV was broken, leaning sideways, very old, small and out dated. It was a bad experience, and my Husband and Myself decided to check out the next morning, and request a refund with Booking.com, I have tried to escalate the situation with a promise for a call back from the escalation department within 48 business hours, it's been well over the time I was given, so that's how your treated if you are not happy with your Reservation. The whole entire experience

Front desk is awesome. Room is fine. No issues. Breakfast surprised me. It was great. It was like someone made it (homemade) and packaged it. Bacon, sausage, chz omelet, cakes and pastries. No complaints at all. I messed up my suit shirt and the lady at the front desk got me and ironing board and iron...set it up right there and we chatted while i did it. I'll stay there again.

I waited 10 minutes at the front desk just to be told I couldn’t stay. You can’t live within 65 miles of the hotel. Absolutely absurd!!!

The room was dirty, had black mold and water leaking from the walls. The manager acted liked he didn't care about the water leaking from the wall. Told me the maid would come clean it up. I could tell this was a on going issue because the floor boards where bent and damaged from water damaged. I demand a refund but was told no. Maintenance finally came up and told the desk attendant to move me to another room. Just like the previous room this room was dirty and had burn marks in the sheets. I slept fully clothed each night. If I had more money to book another hotel room I would have been out of there. This place should be shut down ASAP.

Needed a place to stay for a night as halfway point to home. Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice. The room looked recently renovated and was very clean. Sheets smelled fresh and crisp. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Bed was extra firm which might be bad for some but great for my back. The wife thought it was fine. The free breakfast was better than some not as good as others but it's free and the coffee was very good. My only very small recommendation is get better pillows. Not a complaint as I slept ok with the ones provided. Overall I would choose Super 8 again.

I had a nice rood to stay in. The only downer was when I opened the drawer with the lamp on it. Good was that there was actually a Gideon's Bible in the drawer to use. Bad is that the drawer was full of dust! I had to clean it out. The room was clean otherwise.

I only stayed here one night after a very exhausting day driving, but I was more than pleased at the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the room and just about everything about it. The only thing I would’ve preferred to have was a comfortable to sit in and a larger vanity.

I was happy with my handicapped room. Roll-in shower with a shower bench and grab bars around the toilet. Decent complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Small bar soap for both sink and shower. Reasonably comfortable bed with nice pillows. Not possible to block out the light from outside, but I always throw a sweatshirt sleeve over my eyes anyway at home. A better free breakfast selection than I expected. Cold cereal varieties and a variety of muffins. Eggs, bacon (!), sausage, pancakes, and waffles packaged in plastic to microwave. The eggs turned out to be a decent cheese omelet. Coffee and juices. Wow! I used to travel frequently, but not very much in retirement. This is at the top of my list for the Hagerstown area. Easy access to/from I-81 and I-70 - just watch out for all of the semi trucks.

We rented 2 rooms. They were both dirty- hairs in the beds & showers, a dirty facecloth (actually looked like feces- disgusting) hanging on the shower rod that was not removed by the previous cleaning, ashes on these floor, dirty fridge. I doing know how it got such good previous reviews

Its was the nicest cheep hotel around.

The woman who checked us in was great. The Super 8 Hotels I've stayed in of late are great for friendly service. The room is spacious. Fridge could fit all our stuff. The TV plays all my favorite channels.

A good value for the price. Room had a weird smell and the outlets are in inconvenient places. Other than that the room was clean, it was quiet, the staff was exceptionally nice, and the bed was comfortable. I slept well and that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

Wow, what a gem. Not often i find a hotel run as well as this. Stay included a surprisingly decent breakfast and laundry facilities. Convenient location with plenty of dining options nearby.

The hotel is clean and lovely. The room was clean amd refreshing and my daughter and myself felt at home. The staff was kind and helpful. Its a good thing the management keeps out local people. Which keeps the hotel cleaner and more luxurious. Because the area has a trailer trucks rest stops all over the area. Ans even though the rolm was clean the chair in the room was old amd dingy along with the desk was old and the top wood was peeling off .But other than that issue the property was spectacular compared to many other super 8 hotel's and other. Brand hotela that i have stayed at recently.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The area is in a truck stop but it was very quiet. The front staff was friendly. I was very impressed for being a less expensive hotel than bigger chains, how nice it was. We would definitely stay again. There’s several restaurants and shopping nearby. The property was what you'd expect off a highway in Maryland. Saw a small roach in the bathroom but again, roadside motel. I knew what I paid for. Front desk the evening I checked in was super nice. She could tell I was overwhelmed and was very patient. The beds were clean and free of bugs (I checked. Twice). We stopped here on an emotional trip home so I wasn't expecting much and was happy with what I paid for the night. Location was convenient and quiet overall. I would stay here again.

The check-in, the service and facility was very nice and kept clean. The room was a very large size for their cheapest rate. The only thing that I really didn’t like, and my girlfriend was the bed was just so stiff. I don’t mind for mattresses, but this one was very, very hard. We both woke up with the lower back pain But other than that it was a very nice facility. The complementary breakfast was surprisingly good. They have these beautiful individually wrapped cakes with almost any flavor you can think of and it was so good. I will stay here again. It is a nice location.

There were several gas stations and a McDonald's restaurant within very short driving distance (the immediate neighborhood is made up of warehouses and distribution facilities, so not really walkable).

Much nicer than any other Super 8 I've ever stayed out. Normally don't stay at Super 8 now that I am a bit better off. Only downside is lack of elevator, have to use stairs to get to 2nd floor. Also nice not to have pungent food smell found in many franchised hotels.

Great value, well-maintained and quiet, very nice shower flow, good-sized room, helpful staff, and a number of breakfast items for one to microwave, such as eggs and bacon, etc., which was something that I hadn’t seen before, but it seems sensible enough asa way to have hot items throughout the morning (I think breakfast was from 5 am -10 am). Plus there were muffins, bread, cereal, yogurts, etc. the hotel is well-marked and just off the highway, so perfect for the short stop that I needed!

They have an app - was texted to me a couple of hours before check in - asking for picture id and all the normal check in questions - vehicle - cr card info etc - took the time to complete it - desk clerk ignored it - made me do it all from scratch - TOTALLY UN-IMPRESSIVE - she was not willing to do anything other than have me complete the paperwork from scratch and then copy my id - Then I received another text to simplify check out - Really ??? Ignored.... Property was totally acceptable - disconnect between the app software and local staff was not!

From our greeting at the front desk to staying in one of the cleanest rooms I've ever been in, easily 5☆!! Our room was spacious, the bed was firm, and the pillows were squishy. Loved that there was a recycling bin in-room. We'd stay here again and would recommend it to others.

A lovely surprise for the price! Best free breakfast I've ever had at a motel! Super gracious front desk employees day and nite shift and newly renovated rooms that were clean, comfortable, well-lit and nicely appointed!

The breakfast was pathetic

This was a great property to stay the night. It is by a huge truck stop so everything is geared for people travelling. We did go into Hagerstown and walked the Cultural Trail and visited the Art Museum. Was nice

Had to change rooms cause of a stain on the sheet. Pee on the underside of the toilet in the next room but that’s alright.

Would stay here again

Stay here a couple times a year. Always an easy check in, easy off of I-81. Decent breakfast
