No breakfast at this location. No AC in the lobby. Despite a prepaid reservation, it took almost 30 min to get our room key.

Room was clean and nice however, the bathroom architecture was simply off. There was always stagnant water on the bathroom floor… imagine using the bathroom at 2 in the morning with your feet in that water and going back to bed with your wet feet??? Something definitely needs to be done about that

This hotel was centrally located to Arundel Mills Mall, the Maryland Live Casino and BWI airport. There were many things to do and lots of places to eat. We were on the 7th floor which gave a great view of the area, but the room was just blah. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows had seen better days. The remote to the TV was not working so we had to have someone come up and exchange. There were not enough towels and cloths in the room and had to ask for more. In addition I was charged $10 to park-even after I had prepaid for our room...but was refunded that charge--not sure if they made a mistake when I checked in or what.

we had a very bad experience with this stay. We arrived around midnight with the intention of staying here only to get a good night sleep after driving 20+ hours. The hotel seemed to be booked by a large number of children who were up and running and literally screaming in the halls all morning. There is no sound seperation at all between hallway & guest rooms. I called front desk to let them know we could not sleep and they just said sorry the group was all going to breakfast at same time? I’m not sure what that would have to do with the excessive noise and running around on 3rd floor. Additionally so you are aware the light is out in shower / toilet room in 314. Also got multiple messages that Pool & fitness room were not available for use and even got an email about this several hours after checkout. Makes no sense.

During my stay a group of students stayed at the same hotel and made loud noises until 2 am. Needless to say I barely got any rest. I was very disappointed and will not stay at this hotel again.

When did it become ok to not clean hotel rooms daily? Apparently to get your room cleaned you need to book it 24 hours in advance. Why is there no air conditioning in the main lobby and bar? The gym was not available as it is broken and the pool was closed as it took was broken. We were also charged $10 a night for parking. We also requested adjoining rooms or at least rooms on the same floor, they put one room on floor5 and the other on floor 6. I made this request a month before we needed the rooms. When did we as consumers get ignored and overlooked?

It was no heads up about the pool and gym being closed which altered my trip for early check out. Ants in the room and outside on furniture. The toilet did not work.

This is a great hotel to stay at for Business

From the moment I checked in the young lady behind the desk was very informative, she answered all my questions about the area recommended places to dine and things to do in the immediate area. She made sure that I knew the shuttle times so that I would not miss the concert I went to see, the shuttle driver made sure that I knew the drop off and pick up area at the casino he also made sure that I had the number to call him when I was done for night. The hotel itself was very nice they did a really good job with the renovations. The only downside for me was no microwave in the room and having to pay for a parking pass to only be responsible for your items if someone breaks into your vehicle. My next trip I will be using this hotel again.

I really liked the redesign of the room. It had the bed against the wall to the bathroom so you could look out the widows from the bed with the TV between the 2 windows. Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The property was very nice and well maintained. Our room was right next to the lounging area of the hotel but we couldn’t hear much noise in our room from that area so that was good. I did like the fact that they had a lounge/gaming in the area. The only thing that bothered me was having to travel to the other hotel I believe it was called the element, for breakfast. It was a little cold outside during our visit so having to walk through the breezeway just to get to breakfast was a little inconvenient being that I had my daughter with me, but it was fine. I would stay here again if I did not have a kid with me.

Like genies, ask and you received. The staff would record your request and before you know it you had what you asked for. I would definitely return to Aloft. .

Our room was clean and adequately sized. Walls are VERY thin as mentioned in other reviews - it sounded as if the people staying next door were in our room. We had to ask for a different room on the second night due to the fact that they were playing loud music for hours. Hotel staff was very accommodating regarding our request. The gym was under construction - would have been nice to have known this prior to arrival as it might have influenced my choice of stay. Pool was closed as well. While our stay wasn't horrible, I would not return here again with all the other options nearby.

I booked to stay for two nights and I left the first night because there was a gas leak that I could smell in my sleep and the fire alarms went off the whole building had to be evacuated. I was healing from a surgery out of town and had no assistance.

The place was noisy with people hanging around at all times of the day and night and on the second night, the hallway reeked of marijuana. Then, as if that wasn't enough, there was a fire alarm at 4 am in the morning which forced us to evacuate. We stayed here years ago and it was great. This experience was terrible. Never again.

Yes it was good

Our room was in good condition. However we were suppose to check in at 3pm. We called at 1:25 and said we were arriving early was there any way we could check-in early. They lady on the phone said we they had a room available for us which was great. When we arrived the room was available but it was an additional $57 to check in. Had we know that on the phone when I called. We could have spent time walking around the mall which is right across the street to wait for our 3pm check in time. For the future if staff can relay that to individuals that are staying at the hotel for checking in early would be helpful.

I was able to book last minute and check in with no problem. There was a full on party in the room next to me. Extremely loud until like midnight. There was also and attendant vacuuming in the lobby, she was not getting anything up at all. And instead of going back over it, she just kept going across the lobby. Strange.

The hotel entrance is under construction so had to go through the element hotel to get in. Longer walk but okay. Was supposed to give the breakfast complimentary for the inconvenience but they charged $10 instead! The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Had only one large towel in room. Front staff was pleasant also. Overall a good stay!

The hotel itself is okay. But hidden fees ($10-20 for parking per day) was a turn off. Also the hotel is undergoing renovations which lead to hammering & construction work to disturb sleeping.

well the front desk staff had no personality, our refrigerator leaked all over the floor when we turned it on, our tv didn't work for 90 percent of our stay, at checkout we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back to the desk( she went next door to get breakfast) when we told her about our stay she showed zero concern.

The staff needs to be more knowledgeable , my card kept getting random charges that the staff could not explain. Whenever I asked the front desk they had no clue why. Some of us in our party never got our rooms cleaned afterward a 5 day stay. I got charged for items I never used. Then they didn't know how to enter the credit, when she did the credit it was still less than the original charge. I'm not going to keep going back and forth over the $1.56 difference but they need to get their processes together. Overall the location was nice, hotel was clean the staff just needs more training.

Sleep was interrupted every morning by what sounded like jack hammering directly above me. Could not watch TV or join conference calls in the room as a result. Would advise against staying here until construction has been completed

There are replacing the tilel floor up above me and from 7 AM on on Sunday morning.All I heard was then beaten on tile i'm sorry, buddy.If you're doing renovations , you either do not put no one in a room below where they're replacing the tile floor and you definitely shouldn't be doing it on a sunday morning

Room was just ok. Gets the job done. Not a wow factor. Also the fridge is too small to fit anything in it. There is no ice machine on the floors. Front desk has to bag you up some in the back.

When I arrived it was a stinky foul odor as if trash had not been emptied it was a horrible smell, it was a fee for breakfast and I had to remind them to clean my room, the only thing I found to my convenience was the shutter bud I really loved Michelle the driver very sweet person so if I stay there again it’ll be for the shutter bus!

When I told the front desk at about 7:30pm and was asked to come back at 9am to discuss my complaint.

The property and staff were amazingly nice . But the lantern bugs were such a problem for me . The hotel front is covered in them . But overall I did enjoy my stay at the Aloft.

The bed was very comfortable..The phone wad dead, could not call front desk. Neither room had trash bags to dispose of disposable underwear and other sanitary materials.

At check-in, the front desk provided inconsistent information regarding the room locations, which added to the frustration. In addition, the property itself did not meet expectations. There were no ice or vending machines available for guest use, our key cards stopped working during the night, and the pool was not well maintained. Overall, the lack of consistency and customer service, combined with below-average amenities, made for a poor experience. I would not recommend this property.

The room was a little damaged tables and carpets had stains but okay to stay in for the night.

The lady told me that the airport shuttle was coming to pick me up at 3:30pm when I called at 2:52pm. The shuttle did not arrive until 4:10pm. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower, the front desk staff is always missing. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable but the bad accommodations made me feel indifferent Iabout booking here again, plus there is no food stops on sight or immediately close by. Pool was also dirty inside.

It was for a work trip so I did not pick the best hotel but this was certainly below my expectation. The hotel is old and would need some good maintainable done. My first room smelled terrible and the flush kept going all night making terrible noise even I tried to fix it. The staff on site was not very welcoming. The second I got was nicer and smelled better but the bottle of shower gel was empty. It was not terrible and I did not pay too much for it, but I don’t think I’ll go there again.

Appearance was excellent but my room was not cleaned properly there were popped balloons all over the carpet. The pool was disgusting the chlorine levels were so strong that it burned my eyes entering the pool area. The water was not clean for it to be so early in the morning. I spoke to staff they said the pool was clean a week ago but he shot the pool the day prior but doing it that day over 50 people was in the pool it should have been cleaned again. I clean the pool for New York City Parks and Recreation so I know when it’s a unsanitized pool and I would not into that pool. I wanted to request one day payment back but it was a lot going on when I left.

Swimming pool was great

We have stayed at this location many times over the years. This was our first time back in about 5 years. We were surprised to see how tired and warn the rooms were. We were told renovations are about to begin. The beds were comfortable and a working air conditioner is always refreshing. Our biggest concern was the car outside in the parking lot sitting in landscaping pavers missing all 4 wheels. We always felt safe at this location, however that car had us a bit worried. I brought it to the front desks attention. They were unaware that it was there but it wasn't too far from the enterance. She did say she would look into it. By the time we went to downstairs to leave for dinner the car was gone. All in all our stay was ok and we more than likely will be back and look forward to the new updates.

All of the basics were provided along with a comfortable bed. Cleaning services are not done daily but I was able to get fresh towels upon request. The hotel was found to be clean throughout and the desk staff were friendly and professional.

The sheets had stains on them when we arrived, we requested new ones, we started to change the sheets and there were blood and pee stains on the mattress. We were able to move rooms and there were roaches in that room.

We didn’t like that on our second day when we The staff was rude, front desk didn’t greet us when entering or leaving the hotel - only one of the ladies was nice and engaged with us during our 5 day stay. She worked the night shift. During our check out, the girl had an attitude and when asked for coffee cups, she could not find them. A nice man had to approach us and guided us to get coffee from another spot at the hotel.

Unfortunately, the room was showing it's age. The sliding door to the toilet (why have hotels decided against privacy in bathrooms?!) had a hitch and banged. The AC made a groaning noise periodically which made it sound like someone was entering your room. Other than these two things, the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was friendly. The hotel is very outdated and needs a 100% renovation and sterilization. I got a room I didn't book and was told that's the only room they had. House keeping only cleans every 3 days and when she cleaned my room I gave her a tip but when I got back to my room nothing was done. I will never stay at this property again and I was there for 5 days. Marriott should be a shamed of this property.

The beds were new and comfortable. The pool was just the right temp and OPEN! And the staff did their very best to make our stay the best. It was also nice to have the Bar open in the evening. Food (available for $) was appropriate grab and go and the prices weren't bad. Coffee and tea is complimentary as was Ice.

When arriving for check in the front desk host was friendly and polite.. I did ask for a non pet room and she gave me a accessible room…well the bath room was not to my liking.. I really preferred a regular bathroom with a regular shower.. water was running everywhere something I’m not use to… hopefully next time if I make a reservation there this will not happen..

They breakfast was not stocked with milk or eggs and so breakfast was disappointing. But the bed was extremely comfortable

The shuttle was not available for pick up from BWI and had to pay for an Uber. The whole reason we stayed here was for the transportation and they let us down.

The Aloft needs to be remodeled with a better layout and some earth tones, better furniture and better vision. This place looked like something from a horror film.

The place is not being kept up. I stayed here years ago and it was very nice and clean. This stay I found random stains on the walls and desk, hair in the shower before I even used it. The wall sockets are all so loose they had to give me a three prong extension cord just to charge my device. There appeared to be water damage throughout the unit, the door slams into the wall so the wall had a hole in it and scuff marks. The water pressure was nonexistent but at least it was hot. At first glance it’s a nice property but get down to the nitty gritty and it’s a bit gross.

Staff was very pleasant and polite.. My friend and I stayed for 3 days.. Only things I didn’t like was the fact I had to request new towels and my room be cleaned because they only clean every three days if not requested, which I didn’t know until I asked.. They did not have complimentary breakfast, only cereal, yogurt, bagels, and other snacks for sale.. Also, there was no ice machine accessible to the guests, only ice upon request which was served in small portions, in zip lock bags.. The property itself was in good condition and the location was perfect as there is a mall, casino, and restaurants not even 5 minutes away..

Room was nice and comfortable, but the bed mattress sits on a platform. So when you’re sitting in your bed, the mattress will actually slide out from underneath you if your back is against the headboard.!
