BEWARE!!! When I booked the room on Hotels.com it came across as a price drop, I booked the room at the last minute. When I checked in there was a 10.00 parking fee, although I'm sure it was disclosed in the small print and I didn't pay any attention to it. I stay in this area a lot and none of the other hotels in the vicinity charge a parking fee. Basically, they are going to drop the price but make it up on a parking fee. Other that that it is a decent hotel.

It was nice. Just not very clean
- 3/5
Convenient location, shuttle service is a plus. However, the room we stayed in was not very clean. Floors were sticky, carpet stained and pullout couch was filthy. I didn’t address it to the staff because we were only there for a couple of hours during the 2 night stay.

I experienced a 30 minute delay in the lobby awaiting check-in assistance. No one was at lobby. My attempts to call the front desk were unsuccessful, as no one answered my calls. Following this delay, a staff member appeared, offered no apology, proceeded with my check-in, and requested a $10 parking fee. I informed her that my online booking did not indicate this charge and specified "self-parking." Furthermore, despite reserving a room with two queen beds, I was assigned a single-bed room without explanation. I also provided my Bonvoy Gold membership number for inclusion in my account, which was accepted but not subsequently applied. The room itself was not adequately cleaned, and the television was non-functional. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory; however, due to an extended travel itinerary, my primary objective was to rest. I observed numerous additional customer service deficiencies that I do not have the capacity to detail at this time.

Parking is not free. They charge $10 for you to park on the street in front of the hotel with the excuse it is hotel property grounds.

Disappointing
- 1/5
This motel is more for home living and not for visitors traveling into Baltimore, MD. The Staff was exceptionally friendly & was good at showing me other rooms that were in the same condition or had terrible odor. The hallway & rooms are dusty looking & the carpet is extremely worn out. Water temperate was too hot & difficult to adjust in shower. Breakfast was cold and not attended as needed.

My husband and I only stayed for one night, room was ok for. My only issue with this Hotel was that check it says 3pm we got there at 5pm and they told us our room wasn’t ready and it would be 20 mins wait, so we decided to check out the bar next door. 20 mins passes and no one came to get us. I had to go back to the front desk to get and update about our room because we where runny late for an event.
- 1/5
Dead bugs in room and terrible odor. Crumbs on the sofa. Photos sent to property.

The hotel is under construction which was not listed on the website. The staff was not very courteous. The stay was okay. A bit disappointing since I have stayed at the Element in Hampton Roads which is excellent. I will not return to this location in the future.
- 2/5
No heat in the room for four hours in 19 degree weather. Amenity listed, indoor pool, under construction and told AFTER check-in and money spent.
- 3/5
The heat in my room was not working and it took a while for it to be fixed but overall it was a decent experience
- 3/5
hotel under renovation - conditions less than ideal. Some facilities and areas closed or unavailable
- 3/5
Bed was bitten by dog
- 4/5
The room did not have plastic bags for the garbage cans. The kitchen counter had several cracks on the counter. I informed the young lady at the front desk. The phone outlet was disconnected from the wall.
- 2/5
Dirty bathroom and the thermostat wasn’t working
- 2/5
There were only three settings for the temperature: off, 77 for heat, or 80 for cool. You could feel cold coming in from outside, while it was in the 30s. The bathroom sink slowly drained and the shower door barely closed. The bed frame was longer than the bed and we were constantly hitting our shins on it. Silverware was provided with dishes, but no forks.
- 4/5
It was okay. The staff and room were good. Property was undergoing renovations, so it was not not so nice as I would have expected it to be.
- 1/5
Dirty room, no heat
- 2/5
The hotel was undergoing a renovation. I booked about two months prior to our stay and this was not published anywhere. The sofa bed in the room was not made up when we arrived so I had to request linens and pillows and make up the bed upon our arrival. We constantly had to ask for extra towels. They did not have an extra roll of toilet paper in the room so we had to request that and the staff was friendly when you made a request but otherwise very aloof. The area is nice with lots of restaurants, shopping and it's close to all highways. But I would do a hard pass and not stay here as there are plenty of other hotel options in the same area.
- 5/5
Rooms and staff are wonder as always
- 2/5
Check in process was lengthy, the lady kept doing whatever else with her co-worker and leaving us to wait when there was nobody else checking in at the time. The halls smelled dingy, the room smelled like chlorine or bleach, the pool room smelled so strongly of bleach we couldn’t stay in there long and the pool water looked disgusting. We asked if the pool was open and were told it was and could be used, I brought to their attention that it looked foamy on top and they told me it was going through a treatment process but could be used. The breakfast was ok. Before check in, we requested through the app extra towels and toiletries, didn’t get them and the little bottle of lotion they left us was used and almost empty. The main faucet for the shower was falling apart.
- 3/5
It was ok hotel needs reservations
- 5/5
Hotel hallways were under remodel, but room was clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The breakfast menu was OK, the eggs seemed like they were from powder, the potatoes weren't seasoned, but all in all, for the price, was good.
- 3/5
Stayed at elements in the past and always nice. Just disappointed that it wasn’t nicer.
- 2/5
I am still waiting for 5000 points compensation for my room not being what I had reserved. Was promised, but never delivered. Shame!
- 4/5
Yes very nice hotel for price , Casino 1 min away !!!
- 4/5
Easy check in, clean room, slightly noisy kids but it was a weekend so expected it. Overall good stay
- 5/5
Lady was amazing at check in… even helped me fix my Marriott account… I stay at this hotel a lot… always very nice!
- 5/5
The staff here was awesome from the front desk to the shuttle driver and cleaning service. Everyone was very welcoming and warm. I really enjoyed the room. We were low on supplies in the room and all of those were replaced the following day without us having to ask which was awesome. Parking was easy. It’s located near so many restaurants and shopping locations. I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Room not what expected. Corridors missing baseboards. A bit shabby
- 3/5
The pool was dirty, the breakfast was amazing, the room needed repairs. Checking in was not a good experience. Chrck in was supposed to be at 3 however it was a lot of confusion being told another big event that required housekeeping to take longer than expected. I waited over an hour to get a room. I like the hotel and have stayed there a few times before. This was by far not a good experience.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly
- 4/5
The stay was ok. We went during their renovation and rooms were limited. They were renovating on the floor we were on and it smelled of paint. Overall it was good. Location was very close to mall, restaurants, airport, etc. They also have a shuttle bus which was great.

I'm going to contact the hotel association about this disgusting hotel. I believe that there was vomit on the carpeting, and it doesn't look like it's been clean for 50 years. This place is a disgrace there was no alarm clock, and ao wake up service. I forced them to wake me up for a meeting, but I was late, as I asked one person to make a note to wake me, but they waited an hour and 13 minutes to wake me. My room had a kitchen, but no utensils, no pot to make food, one fork and no soap for the dishwasher, which I asked for downstairs. I couldn't believe they had it I have a huge list of problems, and they didn't seem to care. I'd like some money back. I am a world traveler, and this place takes the cake. I do understand that they are fixing it up, however, I asked them to clean the vomit off the ground, actually carpet, and they did not. I didn't come from Phoenix Arizona to look at this mess. Imagine, I could have picked a place that was nice, and I didn't. The first time I took this brand, in oklahoma, there was a flood in our room, and we had to be moved. Unless you respond, I'll be talking to the association and just about everyone else. Can't you do better? Ugh! Oh, would you like pictures?
- 3/5
The hotel is being renovated and either smelled like glue or paint. There was no warning or rebate based on this. They tried to put us on first floor that smelled like paint and had a caution sign on the door. I went back and reluctantly found another room.
- 5/5
The staff was responsive to a broken lamp cord and was replaced the next morning.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel for my family for a celebration of life that was in Savage Md. I have always enjoyed The Elena in Hampton Va and was very embarrassed for my family that they had to stay here from Friday to Tuesday. The room had stains on the carpet, curtains, the shower was gross, and they were doing construction renovations in halls. I did have to move one daily member due to allergies. I had rented 3 separate rooms. I will never rent here again.
- 5/5
The room itself was clean. However, the hallway and common areas were messy due to construction.
- 5/5
The shuttle was perfect for my trip given we were going back and forth to the mall for medieval times and the casino.
- 3/5
The rooms really need a major update. From wet stains on the ceilings to peeling paint in the showers, permanent stains throughout the room (especially on the couch), and even broken phones, it felt worn down. While the hallways are being updated, the focus should really be on the guest rooms where people spend most of their time. I stayed in two different rooms. The first was cleaned, but the bathroom had a wet ceiling stain. The second was only about a 7/10 for cleanliness—I felt housekeeping could have done a better job. On the positive side, the room layouts were comfortable, customer service was nice, and breakfast was fresh and enjoyable.
- 4/5
With the property being under construction, the floor we were on was being painted. The fumes in the room weren’t bad but in the hallway, it was pretty bad. At check-in, there were workers still working in the hallways and there were tools, paint, buckets, etc. making it not so easy to navigate with a suitcase.
- 3/5
Very worn and dated room. Construction is ongoing in hall area. Maybe they are going to do rooms too?
- 4/5
Cool
- 3/5
Undergoing some renovations which would have been nice to know beforehand. Biggest issue was cleaning of the bathroom and room floors
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
Very comfortable
- 3/5
The surroundings are good. The rooms are generally clean, however a couple of room amenities require upgrading.
- 4/5
The room was great staff was professional
- 1/5
Not really that elegant rooms were dirty
- 2/5
Issues: Beat up furniture in room; Room doors looked like someone was kicking them; White stuff floating in pool; Breakfast was not good and served in foil pans; There is only one shuttle and the wait to and from is extremely long (we ended up taking an Uber from the casino); No DO NOT DISTURB signs for door; Hall way looks industrial and dim; Ceiling in room had stains (not sure if it’s mold) and; Hotel needs an extreme update/makeover!!! Not worth the price.
- 5/5
Everything and everybody was exceptional
- 5/5
Close to the airport
- 3/5
We have stayed previously here. The free breakfast to me wasn't tasty. The French toast was dried out; the diced potatoes were lukewarm and dry. The turkey sausage was dry. The eggs looked unappealing. We had the same breakfast both days. I would have thought that they would have hanged up the breakfast meat and eggs each day. The plus of the hotel was the staff at the front desk and the shuttle bus drivers.
- 4/5
Overall, very good!!
- 5/5
Loved breakfast! The room was clean, the staff was friendly and nice.
- 5/5
The room is really nice. I wish the staff would provide more information about the transportation options. I didn't realize the hotel offers shuttle services to nearby locations, including the Amtrak station. I used Uber and Lyft during my stay, which could have been avoided.
- 4/5
The room looked clean, but the floor felt dirty. The electric blinds/curtain kept malfunctioning and let in tons of light in the morning. The breakfast and coffee were good quality. I enjoyed the yogurt/granola/blueberry station they had to create my own concoction. They had lemon water available and vanilla creamers for the coffee.

Shower was banged up with cracks in wall and handle fell off when I grabbed it.

Was not very clean. Took shoes off and walked on floor and my feet were sticking to fhe floor. I saw housekeeping in the hallway and ask if she would mop for us. She gladly did so.

The property is close to Live Casino and a big shopping mall. Is also cross the street to Medieval times where you can enjoy Medieval times show.12 minutes away from BWI International Thurgood Marshall airport.Friendly staff and quality breakfast is provided for free.
- 2/5
Me and my children never slept under the covers because that's how uncomfortable we felt. The couch and computer chair was dirty with stains. Last but not least I requested a 1 bedroom suite and upon arrival I was told that my room was given away. So, I was downgraded to a regular room with 2 queen sized beds. I was rightfully upset but I was compensated for the mistake. The manager attempted to make things right. So, that was greatly appreciated. However it wasn't enough to make me want to stay. I left after 2 nights and was suppose to stay 4. Overall, the property needs updates, better cleaning regulations, and better management of how rooms are kept and reserved. If these things occurred it would be a nice property. It's close to shopping, restaurants, etc....and the rooms are spacious with a fully equipped kitchen.
- 3/5
Shopping and distance to airport were very important

Definitely needs upgrades….. old wooden furniture, doors need painting
- 5/5
My two toddlers and I had a great time. Our room was large with every single amenity. There was a double burner to cook, dishwasher, full sized fridge, sink, microwave, and countertop with dishes, complimentary tea/coffee with hot water maker. Shower was an awesome size, along with our 2 beds and sofa. The sofa was not a pull out. The highlight for me was that the incidentals were on $50 per night and the BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME! We visited twice In one week! Oh and they have a POOL AND BAR AREA! Pool is indoor and very much fun.
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious. We like the in-room kitchen as a means to "eat in" and save some money for other things on our trip. The hotel breakfast is very good and nice hot options, with a yogurt bar. Property is right next to some serious shopping, and the freeway to easily get to other places. And the room comes at a very nice price.

... hotel was beautiful but they have to work makong sure breakfast its at least warm!

The hotel was nice, just had a few issues. We lost our link with the Internet for a good 36 hours and had to ask 3x for someone to fix it. Only had someone come in and clean 1 once out of our 4 day stay. Overall or was a typical hotel.

Convenient location for military moms. Walls of rooms too thin. People in room next to us were smoking pot which filled my room. Wedding going on in the building thumped so loud.

Furniture and room layout outdated , TV had coloring issues because it’s old Lobby was cute , breakfast appeared to be homemade by the styling of pots used but wasn’t great. Standard i guess. Pool is shared between two hotels Shower continued to leak even when totally off. No house keeping came to my room to change the towels or make the bed my 2nd day. I would not stay again
- 4/5
Decent accommodations. Doesn’t feel warm
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The shuttle to/from the casino, outlet very convenient. Rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed at the 1 bedrm and was nice to have the separate area for our 22yr old. Breakfast had a good variety

- 4/5
Staff was excellent and amenities are great. Property is showing it's age, some paint pealing and bed had a severe dip in the middle. Time for a refresh.
- 5/5
Property was clean and staff was very helpful
- 4/5
Good hotel and very convenient, breakfast is good only thing I didn’t like is to have to go to the service desk to request cleaning and trash pick up since this should be an every other day service or daily service without a request I have the trash cans full and no housekeeping made it to our room.
- 4/5
Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Kids had a great time in the pool. The pool was very clean and sanitary, there were plenty of towels. The bar area was really nice as well. The breakfast was actually really good. Not a very typical hotel brekfast but they had some really good stuff there: sausage patties, various breads and bagels to toast, a selection of cereals and a flat top where they cook eggs, my favorite was the yogurt bar with fresh berries and granola, fritters and potatoes, all were really good. The only negatives I had was the setup of the rooms was very awkward with an obtrusive desk sticking right out into the middle of the room, no garbage bags in any of the garbage cans, very little toilet paper, and the blinds were not working but i will say within a half hour of notifying them about the blinds they had someone come right up and fix them. Overall i thought it was great and will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Stayed a few times never had any issues
- 5/5
Very helpful staff
- 5/5
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with a very comfy bed. Breakfast had lots of hot food options in addition to the standards. They also offer a yogurt and rest fruit station. The hotel also offered a nice workout room and indoor pool. I only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again.

If you don’t care about either, go for it. The staff was friendly and helpful in replenishing towels (we needed a lot for the bathroom floor). Hotel also has continental breakfast, so that may be a bonus for some.
- 4/5
Overnight stay close to the airport. Clean hotel with good reception and parking space. Drive to Baltimore downtown is around 15 mins and 50 mins to DC

Michelle the shuttle driver was A1,none of the other staff was close....the cleaning of the rooms were horrible, even the lobby didn't seem to be Priority for cleaning this morning
