The hotel’s location was convenient I have zero tolerance for disrespectful treatment of guests. Hospitality employees should be trained to communicate professionally, respectfully, and with cultural awareness when assisting customers. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during my stay

Check in was easy. Staff at front desk very friendly. The mattress you could feel every spring The lighting is either full on and very bright or off. There are no table lamps or dimmer to adjust the level of lighting. I would suggest dimners at least on the lights above the bed and either a good mattress pad or new mattresses.

For me it wasn't anything wrong with my room. I was comfortable. And the front desk person was very nice. My complaint is the neighbors! Loud, fighting, arguing, slamming doors. Oh and one other thing is that they don't have an elevator yall. So be prepared to go up as many as 3 flights. Now I can use the exercise. So that was just a warning. My ass ain't complaining. Lol

I want to share that this time was not do pleasant. Yhe lobby smelled like cigarettes.The room was not in good conditions. The walls to this room were stain and there was two wet towels inside the shower tub. As we we went out to get a bit, there was several of drug users.

Staff was very unprofessional. Told them i had a senior with me and they said that doesn't apply there. They put me on 3rd floor all the way to end,with no elevators. That is pretty bad.

No bell cart because there’s no elevator for a multi level hotel. Not only are the stairs the only way up but this place is barely “smoke free.” I would not recommend a stay here since the place is filthy. Once i entered the room i noticed the wall, floor, counter, and doors were super dusty and dusty. There was even something that looked like blood on the door. I checked out immediately. No thank you.

Night hours were creepy. Each time we went out to smoke, their were alot of characters moving about. The last call for us to smoke is 10 pm. Creepy.

I accidentally reserved this in the wrong state and they refused to cancel and refund me. I contacted them two minutes after I reserved the rooms. I searched for Hayward wi and options in Hayward CA were in my search results. Expedia sucks and I will NEVER use them again. You lost several customers for life.

I’ve stayed at other Red Roof Inns, but this one was surprisingly unacceptable. Plus, I was told that it was a truck stop. I didn’t know that it meant place of prostitution until the second day. Plus on that morning, the manager was very rude. All because we needed to sit in the lobby to drank our coffee while waiting for our ride.

Seemed sketchy, uninviting, smelled dirty, I requested a refund as I canceled my stay there.

the room has no refrigerator, cheap indian front desk said needs to pay extra $20 to get a room with refrigerator, otherwise call Expedia to complaint. Air conditioning power on/off is cracked, only a hole buttom, front desk had to run up to turn it on with his unfriendly faced. cheap indian property owner set-up the water sink runs too slow and the sink pipe is too loose and annoyed.room has cockroaches. no coffee maker, no drinking water. coffee and water at the front desk and the y looked the front desk door unitl 8am. there were condoms on the sidedoor entrance

Furthermore, the room assigned to me was supposed to be non-smoking, yet it reeked of cigarette smoke. As a parent, I could not subject my children to such an environment. I kindly request a full refund as the hotel did not meet cleanliness standards. Thank you for addressing this issue.

This place is garbage it smells so bad nasty place the manager of this property is very disrespectful and treat the guests very bad I don’t recommend this place for anyone I will not came to this dirty nasty smelly place again even if they give me the room for free I won’t spend the night on this dirty place

They never cleaned my room they cleaned it once when asked them if the maid service card works he said you don’t need that they don’t speak English so he took my card they never cleaned my room after that I’m very upset I should be reimbursed

The property was smoke free but I could still smell Tabacco. As someone who is pregnant I couldn’t stand the smell I had to check out a day early.

Red Roof Inn Hayward is a nice stay at a convenient location..Freeway is conveniently located.. Mark Wahlberg seemed to like it in the movie, "Daddy's Home" ^^

Really nice in a quiet area

This was bad customer service called prior to arrival and then when I checked in they questions about my rate and then I was forced to place a cash deposit when a credit card was on file for deposit when a cash deposit of 100 cash was required I try to call customer service with Expedia not able to reach.

Slipping Only nothing else

This is one of the loudest hotels that I've ever stayed in. It wasn't the hotel itself but it was the patrons. They were very loud ghetto and scary. I was actually afraid to go to sleep because this man came in yelling and screaming it sounded like if he was robbing the place. It happened throughout the night he was cursing and screaming. The young guy at the front counter had to deal with all this. I was afraid for my life. There was no way I was going out there to check on him I did call the front desk and there was no answer to the phone every time I called I will not be staying here again.

wifi needs improvement. watch YouTube for 4 to 5 minutes, it drops and need to wait 2 minutes to reconnect. I have 3 devices, each device needs it's own unique password. it depends where in your room, then can get wifi signal.

It’s was professional

i stayed here for 11 days consecutively. generally enjoyed my stay. the night shift lobby staff was friendly. they were able to let me stay at same room throughout. I liked the room. only disturbance is the drip sound of the rain gutter next to my window, can hear that throughout my stay because of the rains.

Location needs are great for me.

My usual policy is if I have a bad experience I don’t write a review because mistakes happen and I dislike people being overly critical but this is perhaps more of a warning than anything else. I don’t have enough space to explain all the issues I had with the place but the hotel manager is aggressive and mean spirted. I had personally belongings broken,moved out and broken while I was at work. I tried to call the manager to address what was going on he hung up on me so I called hotels.com he screamed obscenities at their agents when they tried to help . I had to be relocated and the managers behavior made it difficult to do that. Hotels.com was very helpful with the whole process. I was on a work trip and the manager of the hotel made everything difficult. Very disappointed with this individual. Think twice before you book here.

I was given a ground floor room as requested. the room was large and furnishings as I like it, with a large desk and office chair. Enough closet space to hang clothes. Only disappointment is the opposite room had a small dog that kept barking until the owner returns in the evening. Manager is not able to do much of that, so I tolerated.

It was nice and quiet absolutely peaceful the staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean as a whistle it was also pet friendly which was perfect cuz I brought my little buddy with me he's a service dog that I take everywhere and I love coming to places that are pet friendly the only grievances that I would have is that it's very far away from any stores or restaurants

My favorite place to stay. I have already said a lot about the red roof. Once again great customer service and great pet friendly place. My dog and i love it here.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The room I was assigned to was far from clean, and that set the tone for the rest of my stay. But that was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the issues I encountered. One of the most concerning problems was that my room door would not lock properly. I had to resort to using the latch from the inside to secure the door, which was not only inconvenient but also a major security concern. When I brought this issue to the attention of the employee on duty, his response was far from reassuring. He claimed, "It's my first night working here," a statement he had apparently been making for months. It was clear that he had no intention of addressing the issue or providing any real assistance. The air conditioner in the room was another major disappointment. It simply did not work, and despite my complaints, the employee I spoke to was clueless and unable to offer any solutions. This lack of functionality made my stay extremely uncomfortable, especially considering the conditions outside. Furthermore, I asked for the Wi-Fi password, a basic amenity in today's world, and was met with the response that the employee did not know it. This l
