Hampton Inn Union City

This is separate from the hotel but: At 1 am I had a couple in the hallway arguing and very loud, banging on someone’s door for 30 minutes. No staff nor police came to check on them. Terrible to wake up to that. My upstairs resident purposely stomped throughout the night and morning; we couldn’t sleep and no action was taken.

Price was great, staff were very helpful and polite. Parking was a lil crazy. Probably due to construction or remodeling of the hotel next to this one. Also, the room I originally booked wasn't clean when i arrived. But they quickly switched me to another room.

We checked in a little later than planned since we went to the wrong hotel, but your staff greeted us with excellent customer service and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. We were then able to enjoy our wonderful room, which was clean, comfortable, and lovely. Seeing our name displayed on the screen was a thoughtful touch that made us feel especially welcome. Overall, we had a great stay, and the complimentary continental breakfast was wonderful as well. We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

The room was clean, the bath area was OK, the breakfast was nice. The only thing I did not like is there's not enough parking because there's two hotel side-by-side and it looked like everybody was parking and everybody's parking lot and my son had to go home after he helped pay for our room because there was no parking spots available for him to park. I didn't even have a vehicle. He was staying with me so that he could take me to the airport. That was the only disadvantage.

I stay at the hotel approx 1 time a month. In the last 4 months the shower had no hot water. The first time I figured it would be a problem that would be solved. Unfortunately it happened again. I spent 20 minutes at 4:30 in the morning trying to get the shower warm. It is pretty hard to be happy when taking a cold shower at 5:00 in the morning. I like this hotel and the company but if this is not resolved I wont be back.

The property has two elevators. One was down my complete stay and the other was down for 24 hours. So four flights of stairs. The back patio had the same trash laying on the ground for 3 days. The rooms were clean.

Others: Parking is very tight, with vehicles parked in fire lanes and in front of lobby at night. Housekeeping by request only on short stays. Note to all hotels in area: COVID is OVER! For two bills plus per night, rooms should be cleaned daily and towels replenished.

Nice, tranquil hotel and polite staff. The room was nice; nothing special, but clean. Nice, well-kept breakfast buffet that included a waffle station. Hotel is close to some well-known food and entertainment establishments. Parking is a bit limited, and some spaces are compact which could be an issue for guests with larger vehicles. I would consider staying here again in the future for sure.

The property is nice and next to several shopping and eating opportunities. The parking lot was very crowded at night and could make parking a challenge. The room was nice, but the hot/cold on the shower was reversed! A sign was put up about it, but it made it impossible to take a hot shower due to how the handle is, so it simply wasn't good enough.

Check in was very easy and bed was comfortable. Bonus points for the microwave in the room. They also had my name on the tv in the room at check-in which I think was a great touch. The pillows left a little more to be desired but overall a good stay.

We stay at this hotel all the time, everyone is wonderful, and make us feel like we are home, and safe, always greeting us with a smile, and I love how they decorated for the holiday, thank you so much for making our holiday stay so nice. Kids were so happy.

This inn has a very homey, low-key feel to it. The breakfast is good for the price of the accommodation. It actually is the best rate for what I could find in Union City and surrounding area. The rooms are clean but I would have liked nicer beds and linen, again, I know that would come with a higher price tag. All in all, it is great value for the cost of accommodation. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I come this way.

The room was comfortable. The bed was good if you like a fairly firm feel. The room smelled fresh but not scented. The included breakfast was very good. A person can make his/her own waffles. I really liked their coffee, even the coffee in the room. The staff was helpful. Parking wasn't a problem. When a person drives near they should look for a small sign that says Hampton Inn. I would like a bigger sign. There is a shopping center within walking distance or 2 minutes by car.

The hotel let us checked in early without charging a fee and gave us complementary food and waters which we loved after a long drive. The host was super friendly and even came up to our room for the tv remote wasn’t work fixed right away. The rooms smelled so clean and beds were comfortable the only thing was the bedding was bit thin we got cold at night but it our fault for blasting the Ac. The breakfast was yum and fully stocked. We will definitely be back at this location.

Hotel next door is getting renovated, so parking was sparse. I had my work truck which has tools. I checked in and told the front desk that there is no parking in which they said I could pull it up to the fire lane. When I was going to move my truck (within 10 mins of me leaving it to check-in) I had a guy circling it checking all the door handles to the tools and truck. I set off the alarm and the guy ran off. I moved the truck, went upstairs and showered. After thinking about it, I told the front desk I can't stay there because of the attempted theft and left back to my jobsite to sleep in the truck. Not how I wanted to spend my night after travelling and working onsite all day.

The room was excellent, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was wonderful, ladies in the breakfast room are so efficient and so friendly! We really like the Hampton Inn and stay there when we come to Union City. Our only complaint is the parking, several nights we could not find a place.

Room was perfect for the four of us. Beds a bit firm. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast was very good with alot of options available. Staff was amazing at check in. Parking lot was very full but staff reassured us that we could park on adjacent hotel lot during construction- so even that was not a problem. Great stay over all.

AC wouldn’t go below 75 degrees. Way too hot. Only serviced room when you ask. Had to ask for TP, tissues, towels after 3 days……

Really nice condition of the hotel. Looks like they are modeling so i hate to say anything negative but the parking was horrible. Had to park at another hotel nextdoor. They said it was ok, i just didn't lije like our car that far away. And I probably would have liked to know about the constructing and parking, but i probably missed that when i booked the hotel. Clean room, slept great!

More of a funny story kind of. The fire alarm went off at 6am YIKES. Somebody burnt toast in the breakfast area LOL.

Had a nice but short stay. Staff was helpful and the hotel and room were clean overall. The only issue we had was parking because we got back late and there were literally no spots.

Stayed one night and have no complaints. Comfy beds, clear room, quiet, shopping center only 7 minute walk away with grocery and lots of restaurants. Typical breakfast. Nice gym. Good water pressure in shower.

Great spot to stay.

It was along the road and a bit noisy. The next day the manager, Shuja Mumtaz, was extremely apologetic and sincere. He took a detailed report as I wanted to be sure no one else suffers this problem, The manager did offer us another room but at that point I did not want to move again. The rest of the stay was without incident. Kudos to the staff for excellent service. However I did notice that I had a bump on my head for a few days. By the time I reached home the bump was going away so I did not seek medical attention. Overall, this is a great place to stay. I would definitely stay again. Stuff happens, we deal with it and we move on. Shuja and his staff took great care of us under the aformentioned conditions. I hope that someone at Hilton reads this and reaches out to me. Great people, excellent service!

My stay was wonderful. My only complaint is that the glass shower doors were difficult to open and close in Room 313. Plus one of the elevators was inoperable and the remaining elevator was very slow. I stayed 3 nights and was surprised the other elevator hadn't been repaired. I work for a casino/resort in southern California and an inoperable elevator would have been fixed immediately. The front desk staff were so very nice and professional. I would stay here again.

I loved how friendly the staff was and the rooms are amazingly clean. Only downside was the lamp on my side of the room doesn’t work and remains lit so I had to remove the light bulb in order to use the plugs.

It was a last minute booking for 4 nights. The service was excellent and it was a great value for the price. Free breakfast and parking was definitely convenient.

When renting from Expedia they always give you the room next to the elevator and its always a ADA room.

The manager is excellent. Very kind. Customer service excellent. The breakfast was good.

Arvin at the front desk was helpful and friendly. We usually comes here twice a month and customer service were always good that’s why I keep coming back here.

Good and quiet

The toilet got "backed up." Tried to use the hotel phone. No dial tone. Called using my personal mobile phone to call the front desk. Person that answered the call didn't understand the phrase "backed up." Was advised that will bring up plunger. Individual didn't show up until 30-45 minutes later. When showed up, no plunger (couldn't locate one). Had to change rooms. This was after midnight!!!

Hotel felt safe lots of choices near by for dining.

The parking lot is too small. The entire 4day stay we were unable to get in the handicapped parking spot. One night had to park way in back in an undesired spot. The two handicapped spots are simply not enough.
