This property has ample parking, it's close to fast food restaurants, and it has a super friendly staff. The room was a little cramped, but fresh.

I was so disappointed i made my reservation before even coming to Memphis tenneessee, got my confirmation and the lady at the desk said they was over booked the manager canceled my reservation and gave my room away and there was nothing the manager could do never again

The location was great shopping centers and restaurants were very close by. I didn’t have any complaints about the property

Location was great. It was amongst a lot of eatery and shopping places. I didn't like we was on the first floor that had a very distinct smell as if something had molded or died. It was in the hall way, but as we pass one of the room the smell got stronger.

The hotel it self has a odor that was not appealing, the staff at check in was very pleasant but when I checked out the lady at the desk was not so nice, had a smart smart tone in her voice. The room also had an odor but overall the stay was okay it could have been better.

Parking did not feel the most safe. Room was not like the pictures. Our sheets were dirty and the only toiletry provided was a used trave size conditioner. The room smelt dirty also. Breakfast was edible but limited and underwhelming.

Very clean with explanation of their cleaning methods, pretty amenities, modern look, decent pillows and bed. Pet-friendly. Suggest adding more towel/clothes hooks nearer the shower & 2 soaps in the room instead of one.

Bed was comfortable When we came in it had a foul smell , we checked around the room and open the fridge and found old chicken and the fridge didn’t seem like it was working . I went to night audit and the man told me up front they didn’t have anymore availability and I said that’s fine but I need some to get the smell out ! He was not any help at all . The morning came and then the morning audit accused us of bring something in which it came from my car I just needed to throw it away ! Because the outside trash can was full ! She had an attitude ! And I told her we would not be back ! My first stay was amazing this time the hotel looks like they have not been taking care of it

Location is great. Lots of food choices. Kroger and Walmart are close. A VERY important warning. Please make sure a good and valid payment card is on the Expedia App. EVEN if you choose the pay at location option. It is not always honored. So if you have to change or update your debit or credit card please check it. When we got there after double checking everything but the card, our reservation was canceled without notice and still showing good on the app. It was a miserable 30 minutes. It cost us an extra $40 because the location sold out and they started running everybody’s cards on file and I had replaced my debit card and updated everything but Expedia and I was planning on paying at the location so I wasn’t too worried about it but I will be now. Everything was booked close that was under $200 a night. I had to pay an extra $40 or drive 20 minutes away. We were ready to eat and had show tickets so it was very inconvenient. I just wished they would have called and I would have gladly fixed the payment problem. This is just a heads up and I will be aware next time for sure because I usually pay when I book a room. I booked in December so 4 months ahead for the cheapest rates.

The room and air was nice and comfortable.

The staff was wonderful and I didn't have any problems. Checking in and out was a breeze.

Clean Shower dripped. Toilet had to be flushed 2-3 times. AC did not maintain cool temp even set on 66. Asked housekeeping for towels when we went out for day. Had to go to desk to get them when we got back in the evening.

Smaller rooms, smaller bath area and some linens were needing to be replaced. Great Staff! The Breakfast was standard fare. A bargain for the price.

Property is conveniently located by the interstate but its quiet. Beds are comfortable. They offer a breakfast setup and have reasonably priced rooms.

First off the guy at check in was sitting in the lobby when we pulled up. Then was asked what we didn’t like about hotel down the road told him read something about they had bugs. I was already edgy being around Memphis and the crime I hear about he goes on to start telling us about a guy running around naked waving a knife a few days before and another things going on plus another customer came up asking about a clean towel said couldn’t unless they brought the dirty one to him. Too make things short he just seemed lazy and rude more importantly just seemed inappropriate. Room needs remodeling badly bed lumpy room smelled. And was charged a deposit and afraid we may not get it back but we did. The night employee man was biggest problem will not stay again.

The second floor you can hear people in the rooms next to you. Dude. Or girl next door would fart and sneeze. Thought they were in the room with me. Bed was super uncomfortable. And the little dumb pillows. Get some real pillows. It was definitely not a good sleep in. Coffee pot. No coffee. Breakfast was pretty good though. 3 little hand towels and 1 wash cloth.

The downfall of this location—- the lights by the bed didn't work but they said they were renovating. None of the phones in the rooms worked. But the place was clean.

Definitely was not a buffet breakfast all they had was eggs and bacon. Staff was very nice and kind. Showers are nice. Only bad thing we experienced was when we got to our room there were hairs all over the sheets under the comforter, that definitely wasn’t ours considering we just walked into our room.

First, the staff were, for the most part, very nice. My dad and I were in town to spread my mother's ashes, so we were simply looking for something convenient with nearby dining. Sleep Inn Horn Lake meets that criteria. However, the room left a lot to be desired. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean. Yet, there was a very pungent and strong musty/moldy odor that was overpowering. Further, the window shade (not blind, but a plastic pull aside shade) had a large gash in it which let the parking lot lights shine in the room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right. Breakfast options were adequate considering the price. There is a Waffle House within walking distance and a Texas Roadhouse Inn (along with a couple other restaurants) right across the street. Would I stay here again? Only if I could be guaranteed the room did not have such a pungent odor.

I will start by saying that we have stayed that this location several times over the years, but it has been let go to the point that I don't know that we will stay here, again.The guy working the front counter did not even speak when he walked behind the desk. I told him my last name & we were checking in.First thing he said to me was, "I need a credit card, we put a $100 hold on your card for 3-14 days".Then he directed us where to park, & we were on the opposite end of the hall from where he told us to park. There was literally an exit to the parking lot right around the corner from our room.First thing I did was go to use the bathroom,when I turned the light & fan on, the fan sounded like nothing I have ever heard for a bathroom fan. It was so loud and rattled so bad that it could not be used. I have a video of it and was hoping to be able to share it, but it's pics only.The shower door was missing the towel holder & there was 2 holes where the holder used to be. The bottom of the tv looked like it had been melted & the remote was held together with tape (forgot to get a pic). Bathroom sink was missing a stopper, so if you dropped an earring or anything, it was gone.The light fixture looked a mess. The fridge was in a closet and I had to push it back with my foot to even get the fridge door to open. Lastly, the thermostat was messed up.It showed it being on 60 when we walked in & it cut on & off approximately every 3 min. all night. For the cost-not worth it.

I only stay one night. The rooms was too small. I felt like I was smothered to death. I checked out the next day. I did not take pictures.

This property is sooo clean and smells fresh. The staff was friendly. My complaints are that the marijuana smell was out of control although it states they are non smoking. We were unable to get fresh towels after up ur first day which disappointing. There weee holes in the duvets but because I was so happy that everything was so clean, it didn’t matter.

Mold spots in the bathroom, leaking under the sink and if you are on the first floor you can hear water leaking down in the ceiling. As soon as you open the door you smell nothing but weed. Breakfast was cold and fruit floating in brown juice like it’s been sitting for a day or two. The light outside flashed all night right in the windows. AC made some sketchy noises. Front desk guy was super rude and unprofessional when we asked for a couple more towels on day 2. This was the WORST stay we have ever had anywhere. If you are someone who doesn’t care then it’s for you but I would have never taken my kids there knowing it was like this. We would have left after the first night but it was non refundable…now we know why. So just DO NOT STAY HERE.

The hotel was alright. I have to be honest, the exterior and the interior hallways needed a little TLC. Unfortunately, the hotel wreaked of marijuana, but that is not the hotel's fault. There were signs everywhere asking guests not to bring it in their hotel...so sad people don't follow the rules. Our room was absolutely spotless and in good condition. We loved the shower. Breakfast was good, plus the front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We really appreciated that the hotel was dog-friendly, and were grateful for the cheap pet fee.

Certain reviews do not actually portray what is ground. I nearly would have stay at a different hotel because of a particular negative review. Thank God I did not adhere to that review to stay away. The reception was good. Check in was easy,quick and professional.All the staff I met were very professional and of particular mention is the manager Nicole,I believe that’s her name,she treats everyone like family. I call this a family house and I recommend it for all travelers to this area looking for a place to stay.

Please hold dog owners accountable for their pets, or a law suit is inevitable. While staying at the property, someone else’s dog kept jumping on me as I passed through the hallway. It was on the 1st floor and the only way to the lobby. This was a big tall dog, and while I have my own dogs at home, I do not like other people’s animals jumping all over me. The sad part is I warned the owner before passing them that I’m worried that the dog will jump on me or attack me as he was already out of control and barely contained despite being on a leash. The owner assured me that nothing would happen. That was a lie. While the dog was jumping all on me (up to my shoulder as I am 5’2), the owner screamed oh! oh! oh! I’m so sorry. I did report this to the lady at the front desk, and she apologized. However, she did state that the cameras were not working due to the storm the night before. I also pointed out the gentleman to her as she requested. I made her aware that this is a law suit waiting to happen. I don’t mind dogs being allowed to stay at the hotel. However, owners should be required to be responsible for their pets. It was a scary experience. The hotel itself is a solid 3 and provided a comfortable night’s rest. I only stayed one night and will probably not return.

We've stayed here several times over the last year and half, but we decided this time is the last. It seems like the place is not being as kept up and it was. We noticed some areas in the hotel and room that were not very clean. The water fountain didn't work. Our door didn't latch unless you pushed on it. Was a great deal, but now we're willing to pay more for a better experience

a convenient hotel for an overnight stay

It was great as always!!! They know me by name. I stay there 1 night every month for work. It is in a great place for good places to get a drink and a great meal. Any problem I’ve ever had they fix quickly.

We make the trip from St Louis to Biloxi every year, usually stopping in or near Memphis on the way. We have had some of the worst hotel experiences ever in previous years, so we were delighted with our night at Sleep Inn in Horn Lake. We will stay at Sleep Inn next year!

A particular staff member on the morning shift made no effort to help find a room that was wheel chair accessible, which the previous staff said something would be available the next morning if I wanted to extend my stay. The person just side eyed her computer and said no. People were definitely checking out. But, that's ok.

The carpet smelled in each room also the shower had blood spots. Was not a good experience. Will not stay again.

We were super pleased with our stay. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Free breakfast included hot food. Location is convenient to be able to walk to restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

When checking in the computers were down placed on a room when trying to have food delivered they werevtold i was not in the hotel as a guest and the hotel was very noisy especially at night and esrly morning

I was very shocked that the room was clean. Great price being that we stayed one night. Breakfast was good as well. Fresh cheesy eggs, bacon, sausage & was able to make a waffle. My only complaint is the toilet seat in room 222 was about to come off and when someone next to me flushed the toilet the water immediately turned cold when showering. We will stay again.

For just the business stay or the short stay over, it is a very convenient and economical location. There is several restaurants that are a one to 3 minute walk from the front door of the hotel.

A suggestion for management- provide a black washcloth so that women can remove their makeup without ruining your linens. Other places I have stayed have one. It’s a BRILLIANT solution. Also the beds are HARD not Firm. I got no sleep at all. Plus the curtains insufficiently blocked the bright and pulsing light that was lighting up the parking lot. The pictured note was enclosed with the keys. I get the no smoking but not using the towels for makeup removal?!?🙄

I was double charge for the room after i checked out a day early.

For the price it was ok for one night. I won’t stay there again because my room had a strong musty mildew smell and there was a roach in my room.

We arrived to a parking lot of vehicles that were broken down or in terrible condition. I checked in to see what the room was like, it was reasonably clean but dated. I went outside to park. We found many people drunk by the pool, loitering in the back parking lot, many with gang tattoos and showing colors. My wife was extremely uncomfortable and so was I. I went back in to express my concern,the lady behind the counter was very gracious and offered to refund my credit card. We left and traveled 2.5 more hours to Jackson, MS.

Good location

The tv in our room didn’t work and the shower leaked water all over the floor. When checking out told the desk clerk about the tv and she said “oh yeah, none of them are working. We still need to call the cable company”.

The hotel was more than we expected. It was a nice hotel I didn’t mind spending $130 for the room. We had a good time we will stop here again in the future. and we did go to the barbecue place for dinner. The food was excellent.

A decent stay especially for the money. There is dead plants in an outside planter, and one employee talking really loudly in the breakfast room. The soap they provide has a cheap perfume fragrance that is awful, however, I am sensitive to that sort of thing. Sheets aren’t cotton but the bed was comfy.

Everything was great

The room was terribly small. Could not find outlets that worked to plug in iPhone, iPad and other devices. The shower was just a shower the door could have fallen in on us because the door glass was not attached to anything. Refrigerator, microwave, hangers, cups were all inside a large closet and could not find at first ( had to call front desk). The shampoo and conditioner supplied for us was already used meaning the shampoo was half used and conditioner was almost out. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

So many things we enjoyed... affordable, comfortable bed, quiet, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, very pleasant desk staff during check in. We were very pleased with our stay. We will be staying here again!

The young lady at the front desk (her name escapes me) is amazing and very accommodating. She is on her game and deserves a shout out! Also Ms. Christina (sp) took great care of me and my husband! She was super sweet and does a great job!!

where do we start... my personal info was blurted out loud by the chick at the front desk and that was very unprofessional because she said it in front of another customer she could have got me robbed! there was loud s#x all night! gun shots and crack heads in the hallway! one guy ask me if i had a an 8 ball! and that's crazy because i don't even play pool!

Check out was not good no one was at the front desk. Someone from housekeeping had to come up and tell me that someone should be coming to help me. Finally, a woman came up to help me. I asked her when my deposit would be returned and she three to fourteen days. It should not take that long poor service.

What you’d expect for a <$100 a night room. Not awful, but not great.
