Bed was not comfortable.

Be ready for surprise charges if you use expedia and stay at this hotel. The location was chosen because of convinece. It was already exapensive as is, but for the convinece of location, it was worth it. With that said, a surprise extra charge was issued. These expenses were not discussed before hand, with expedia stating in email everything had been paid for. These expenses were also not disscussed at check in. An individual staying here should be prepared to pay hidden fees and or expenses.

Valet Room was hot, mattress needs replacing, toilet doesn't refill tank after flushing, breakfast muffins had mold on them. Bread was stale. Not all outlets worked, and lights switches didn't work.

No breakfast but I paid for it and the front desk took me 1 hour on my checkout because of the payment because the front desk lady use apple pay want to charge me twice

I booked a room with 2 Queen beds because I was traveling with family. Got there and checked in, went to the room and it was a King with a small couch. Went back down to get it changed and they said they didn’t have anymore rooms and then came up with excuses why I didn’t get the room I reserved. So my family was inconvenienced during our stay

Didn't like the $70 charge for valet parking. I thought that was included with the room. The price was high enough....

Night shift valet parking, we spent more than 1 hour waiting for valet parking assistance at night. It was one valet parking.

When we first got there, we was put into a room that was dirty and had dust and mowed on the ceiling. They also had stains on the carpet and curtains. The second one we was put into has stains all over the sheets and on the floor and it was crumbs everywhere, both of the bathrooms had hair and rust everywhere.

There was no parking for my truck I had to park 2 blocks away

The location was good being it was right across rhw street from a building with beautiful art. There were a lot of homeless people near the building. Especially at night, near the place that rents the scooters.

The staff were friendly and helpful, very approachable. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. It was clean, yes, but the carpets in the hallways are very stained, much of the place is dated, and I'm 5'10, yet eye level with the shower head. The plumbing in the place needs a bit of work. Had to close the shower handle fairly hard in order to stop dripping.

Parking suks 55dollars a night. Tv is old as dirt. Wasnt a smart tv could not watch netflix, amazon prime, hulu even tho remote had the option. Tv was very tiny for the room size this waz not a 9.4 rating lol nice but not 9.4

The hotel has a nice small bar and the food was excellent. If the beds and pillows were softer i would return. Unfortunately during my next visit to Houston i will be staying elsewhere.

I usually stay at the Hilton for the Quilt Show, decided to change this year. From the valets who parked and retrieved my car to the front desk clerk, everyone was professional, knowledgeable and so nice. The room was spotless. Had enough light (which is rare), and the shower was perfect. Only downside was the lobby looked dated and scuffed.

Hotel was super clean, and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located for walking to activities close by.

We stayed on the 9th floor and were woken up by a disturbance on the street level around 1:30am. 45 minutes of a screaming match in front of the hotel, heard all the way up on the 9th flooor was disappointing for the price we paid. But we loved the staff!

Stayed for 3 nights with my family. Great location right off of main street. Restaurants nearby in underground tunnel. Public parking next door at intersection. Nightlife a couple of blocks away. Great pool for the kids and gym for the parents. Bar in hotel but closes at 10pm.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and local attractions. The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but overall it didn’t affect my experience much. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a cozy and well-kept place.

The property itself is well maintained. The city has a large homeless population but the main street area is well controlled with lots of security and city staff out during the day time. It was pretty safe to walk main street and enjoy the many, coffee shops, restaurants and bars in the area. We even rode the tram to the NRG center for an event and that went smooth.

This isn't Marriott's fault. What is, the first room I was given was right next to the elevator. I specifically requested a room NOT next to it. Upon entering the room, it was obvious the maids didn't finish. No soap, beds unmade, dirty sheets on the chairs, garbage cans on the table. A mess. Second room was "nice" but uncomfortable for the price. The price to value ratio is extremely off here. You do not get what you pay for. Two star rating bc of the cost and what you get. It was clean except for the first room.

Beds were comfy & room was clean. Wasn’t really anywhere to eat close by as stay was on a weekend so everything was closed. Breakfast was pretty average & not much to choose from.

VERY NICE, CLEAN ROOM. SMALL PROBLEM WITH CURTINS NOT OPENING BUT WAS SWIFTLY MOVED TO AN ANOTHER ROOM.

The only complaint is one of the two elevators was out of order.

Overall Excelled Experience.

We had booked a room for 4 (1 BR king bed suite) but found that the sofa bed was a single bed. There was no way to fit 4 adults on available beds! The reception staff changed it to a room with 2 queen beds. The hotel is well located and seems safe. While checking in, we were charged refundable 200 bucks (100 usd per day) for incidentals. The breakfast coupons were given only upon asking. The breakfast coupon entitles for ala carte 1 food item and 1 drink item. All in all, pretty average experience.

All good with one comment. Breakfast took too long with apparently only one person working doing everything. She did well, but it made for a bit of a wait when we were needing to get to business. Food was very good when it did come.

We loved our stay at courtyard! Very nice, modern, clean and very professional! The pool was really nice! Especially with the view of downtown! All the employees are really helpful! This hotel is run down to say the least. It appears they are doing a remodel as there are storage containers in the parking lot and broken toilets out behind the building. When you try to enter there is caution tape across most of the front entrance. The lobby is dingy and smells moldy. I tried the keys to my room twice and 2 different sets of keys. Finally a made just let me in the room. The room was dark and unwelcoming. The room was in dire need of paint, smelled moldy, I decided I didn’t feel safe and immediately went back to the desk and told them I would not be staying. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

The hotel was nice. The service was winderful from the time we checkednin until check-out. One slight drawback was our tub wasn't clean and the drain was slow. I'm a guest who always bring mynown cleaning and sanitizering priducts. Rather than add additional work on workers I maintain it myself. Absolutely no reflection on your staff, just my personal preference.

The staff were excellent, professional and very accommodating. The only downside was the Bistro which already has a limited menu, did not have anything that required using the deep fryer on Saturday 07/27.

Front desk was friendly and very helpful. Room was perfect. Only problem was that there were no carts to put our heavy luggage on. Waited over 15 mins while someone was searching the building. Ultimately ended up leaving them in the car after going through 7 floors trying to look myself.
