The staff upon check-in was excellent. She personalized must stay and she observed my birthday. Thank you for such a wonderful staff and stay.

Breakfast was excellent but the hotel overall is old. Does not give a hotel vibe. Furnitures old. Rooms not clean. Our room did not have a trash can in the bathroom. Staff was great but won’t stay here again as you can fine better hotels to stay in the area for the same price.

Overall excellent. Room was spacious, very clean. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed the stay.

But lots of good things as well. Very spacious rooms, has a kitchen and a really good spot I think for longer stay. Felt safe, and breakfast was wonderful! Kuddos to the staff at the breakfast lobby because she was making sure it’s getting refilled when the popular food are getting low! We absolutely enjoyed breakfast! Staff front were nice too.

Very clean and staff was very good at doing requesting for any additional items or asking for additional information, staff was super courteous, valet parking was made super easy and the valet staff was very friendly and professional and felt our vehicle was in god hands without worries. Room was clean, staff was friendly. There was no fry pan for the stove that I could find so that I can make my dinner. I’m sure I could have called down to ask for one, but I had to check in late and I was too tired to wait. I ended up eating a peanut butter sandwich and went to bed. Disappointing, but I lived to tell the tale. :-)

Everything was excellent! I would have to say that it doesn’t have a parking lot, and the valet ( excellent staff very friendly though ) that offers it’s a bit pricing, but other than that everything was great!

The lady that booked us in was so sweet. She went above and beyond. The breakfast was really good, huge selection of food and everything was so fresh. Every staff member we encountered was always so friendly. Nothing everything was great!

Nowhere during the booking did it say you had to be 21 to get a room my adult 20 year old son was turned away and we were told no refund. The staff did not try to help at all in fact told them it was State Law that you had to be 21 to rent a hotel room.

Staff was very friendly. The breakfast had a good selection each day. My refrigerator wasn't working very well, it wasn't cold at all and it wouldn't make ice at all and after 3 complaints, I gave up. Also, there is ONLY valet parking at $60 per day, which was not what I was expecting.

Great location Downtown close to several eateries. Didn’t realize there were 3 hotels in one. After checking in and using valet to park vehicle we took the 1st elevator up. We ended up in wrong section which was not our hotel suite. Went downstairs and received better instructions from hotel clerk on where to go.

We were on the 3rd floor. We did not know that people race their cars on the street right outside, especially on weekends. As a result, we could hardly sleep. If you stay here, request a room on an upper floor. Ask for one that is especially quiet.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here! The staff was welcoming and attentive and our room was nice and spacious with a great kitchen space. If we’re ever back in area we already said we would be back. The only small thing that I’d ask for is for breakfast to be a bit versatile. I understand if that’s a big ask but that would be the only thing. Other than that keep up the fantastic work!

The staff and the room were good. The only problem was parking. The hotel shares the postage stamp-sized parking area with two other hotels. The only choice was in the street or pay $60 for overnight parking. There were no places available on the street that were within three or so blocks. As a single female alone at night, I paid the $60 which I consider to be gouging.

I loved my stay. It's perfect considering the cost...the breakfast was very good with a great selection, the staffs was very friendly and polit, same the guesses. The staff was OUTSTANDING. My room was clean, and I had no issue with the state it was in. A bit of wear and tear noticeable but nothing major. As for the neighborhood, its ok, its downtown located in a business sector, so its a bit boring naturally, but you can walk to better spots easily or take the light train. I highly recommend it.

I have stayed at other Residence Inn. This one has past its time. The bed was fine, however there were old couches, lights, and tvs. I stayed in the 2 bedroom and one of the showers hum and shake while the water was pouring out the shower. There was stains on the floor and the carpet need to be replaced in the central area. Would I stay at that Residence Inn again, No. If the rooms were update to the new standard I might stay there again. Good Luck. The breakfast food was excellent.

I double booked the stay and when I got there the lady pressured me into canceling the other reservation knowing I would not get credit for anything since I had already paid. I ended up without even Marriott points after throwing away $1K. When I asked her to see what she could do to at least credit me points she said she had already canceled it and could do nothing.

I highly recommend Residence Inn Downtown Houston! The rooms felt just like home and the views were amazing! We had everything we needed! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and provided us with a thorough list of activities, grocery stores, shopping malls, and dieections. Valer was so quick and convenient! 10 stars!!!

It was the perfect single room for five people. We were looking for something with a pullout bed. Right in the heart of Houston. Great breakfast.

What a brilliant hotel!!! The staff were outstanding! My room was huge and extremely well-equipped (“full kitchen” literally means a full kitchen…!). The included breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast room was big enough to accommodate many people. I loved everything about this hotel! Being downtown, homelessness in the area is evident, but the hotel is secure. The area is walkable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Houston. As I said, the staff were amazing and are a true asset to the hotel.

The room was spacious and clean. The shower made a loud noise and kept turning all the way to hot when turned on. Housekeeping didnt knock one time when coming in the room. Other than that the area was perfect, close to lots of events and shopping and food. Breakfast was really good.Kudos to whoever made those waffles. Staff was friendly. The room wasnt okay, good for thr price.

All around, the hotel's location was very convenient for our stay. Being at the center of downtown, it made it easier to walk to places. The room was surprisingly big, would say one of the biggest rooms I've stayed in. Can't beat the price. Would for sure stay here again.

The stay was fine, however, like most hotels, they bumped up the price for Valentine’s Day. But what was even worse, they charged $50 for their parking!!! The valet podium had a sign on it saying parking was $20. I called the hotel and they apologized for their parking price but said $50 isn’t a mistake. I think that is just price gouging and just plane wrong.

Clear miscommunication. Customer service is everything when your not comfortable staying in an unfamiliar place vs your home.

But some of my stuff got stolen. The cleanliness was poor and front desk was friendly but didn’t really act on things being told to them.
