The room was clean and came with complementary flip flops and wine. The beach view was amazing. Staff was very friendly. The hot tub was very dirty in the morning, there was left under food from the night before around the pool/hot tub which attracted ants. There were a ton of bugs in the hot tub and no attendants around to help clean it out so we tried to clean it ourselves but the skimmer net was full of trash. Over all nice resort.

Ocean view was great and the access to the beach was extremely easy. Bike taxis also were available to take you to the beach although I didn’t use them. I did take advantage of the beach chairs and beach towels that were available at the front desk. staff made everything easy. service at the pool was amazing. Would definitely go back again. The only negative that I experienced was that my room was not cleaned on the very first day. I had to ask for extra towels that night and it did take some time for them to arrive other than that no complaints.!

I booked my stay through hotels.com for one night king bed ocean view room as stated in the picture I attached, when I checked in the lady in the front desk took my ID to the back for a good 5-8 minutes for unknown reason and when she came back she said my room is ready but then it became a 2 queen bed and I said why did it became a different room and she emphasized that it's what I booked, I didnt feel arguing since it was late (830pm) and Im exhausted so I payed with a hold for around $800 and I asked her again if its an ocean view and she said yes. When I got to the room I noticed that the room didnt even have a view except the room with Hvac components, so I went down to the front desk to see whats going on. The lady called her Manager and I spoke to gentleman name Ty or Thy and right off the bat his attitude was unprofessional! He said that's theres nothing he can do and it is what is and I said is there a room available tonight with what I booked first and he said the hotel is fully booked but when I checked their availability online the same night it showed there's room available, I felt they were saving those room for someone else maybe and I want in my best presentation since I came from my kitchen job so I end up with a room that I didnt even booked for, I felt that I was robbed since I paid for nicer room and getting a different down graded room, this totally put a very sour experience towards this hotel

Delightful stay with helpful staff who wanted to make your beach stay amazing. We especially enjoyed the towels, beach chairs and beach butler service that helped us get everything over to the beach for our beach day. The hot tub and pool after the day at she beach was so relaxing, and we ended the stay with a morning ride on the complimentary beach combers. A great stay for a family with teen boys. Everyone wants to come back…and the boys thanked us MULTIPLE times for the experience. Read that again…two teen boys expressed their gratitude multiple times. Yep. Book it!

We love it here especially for our dog! The staff is amazing and rooms are clean and spacious. Location is great with so many things within walking distance.

After checking in, I asked the front desk associate if someone would be assisting me with my luggage. I was told that I could take it myself and that someone would come retrieve the cart later. I found this unusual, especially for a hotel of this caliber. While it was not a major issue, it was surprising that guests were expected to transport their own luggage carts rather than receiving assistance from the bell staff. Aside from this experience, the rest of my stay was enjoyable.

Great Room. Pool was great and the service was great too.

We checked in two hours font desk said all was fixed cleaned and towels refreshed this was at 4 pm. Mind you the problem started at 9 am.the hotel offered only $100 credit to be used on food or drinks. I was insulted that they thought that was sufficient for out inconvenience. And lack of urgency. Also on Saturday or Sunday early morning I could smell marijuana and early morning cigars. They do have balconies so I’m sure the smell from smoking outside blew our way but spending $1100 for two nights I guess I expected better.

Everything was great at this hotel. Staff, pool, amenities, cleanliness. The only thing to note is that the hotel is on PCH which makes the experience pretty loud due to all the traffic. I stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking PCH and I could hear loud cars/motorcycles all throughout the night.

They upsold my husband at the check-in with ocean view when I rebooked a partial ocean view room. We still got a side view of the ocean. It wasn’t worth the upsell. The jacuzzi automatically turned off when the timer stopped but then needed a break before the jets would work again. During the break, the water temp cooled down. And it wasn’t very hot in the first place. They offer no self parking. Strictly valet, which of course is expensive. And the propane for the fire pits was out or not functioning. The rooftop restaurant service was much too slow. I liked the location and the property was lovely.

Such a great stay! From the moment I arrived, everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was spotless and super comfortable, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. You can tell they care about their guests. I’ll definitely be back!

Inside the room, things weren’t much better. The TV didn’t work at all, and the mini fridge had a flashing light that kept turning on and off, making it seem like it wasn’t functioning properly.

The overall stay was decent. We loved our room despite, our balcony ocean view not being that good we had a huge building roof blocking our view. The outdoor jacuzzi floor looked pretty dirty could use a cleaning. Also, the restaurants were all booked but when we were able to sit at the bar the waiter was not that nice and hardly offered us any of the vday specials as he did the guest next to us. Overall rate 3/5.

We didn't go to this area

One of my new favorite hotels. The views can’t be beat, the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The front desk was so kind and helpful when I had a concern about the balcony we had, and quickly switched and upgraded our room. The robes, wine and flip flops were added bonuses. My only complaint is the pool and hot tub area was a mess when we went the first night. Dirty towels, cups, trash all around towards the end of the night It was a holiday weekend so hopefully it is not a common thing. Also the pool deck by the hot tub is incredibly slippery. I slipped twice and I saw at least 6 others go down in front of me in the span of a few hours.

On the second floor and they kept locking the door to the stairs.

I was very satisfied with this resort. It is in the perfect spot next to shops, food, and beach. Hotel room was beautifully designed. House keeping did such a great job everyday we were there. All staff was extremely kind! We will be back again for sure!

The hotel is beautiful, with stunning sunset views along the coastline. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. It’s an excellent place to stay.

We were not given our room key until 5pm, the kids activities were mediocre, on their site they advertise a grill at their pool, there’s no such thing. The spa wasn’t working

Most of the stuff was nice. There were a lot of amenities that were not available, even though they are listed. The mattress was uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.

Front desk staff told me I should park in the neighborhood if I can’t afford valet. And to carry my bags back and forth. I was just asking if there was general parking. I felt vey unwelcomed. The room was clean. Housekeeping did a good job . The location was very close to the beach, shopping and food. The view from the hotel was decent. The valet staff themselves were wonderful.

Beware this property sells day passes to the pool, etc. so it is jam packed. We were hotel guests for only a night and looking forward to enjoying the pool and relaxing, only to be met with literally no chairs or pool towels. It ruined our afternoon there. Reserved cabanas sat empty while people fought for pool chairs. I would choose a different hotel next time, this one is expensive and there are others nearby that would be a better choice, imo.

Everything was great

Our key didn’t work for the fitness center but we did our walking in the beautiful view of the ocean. The resort always smelled great, did not meet a mean person there and our room was always refreshed daily. Lots of fees daily on the invoice but worth every penny. We also received a room upgrade when we arrived for being the first time there and in California. Views and food was amazing. Hot tub was down for a day or two but the hotel resort next to here allowed us to use theirs and it was just a great time all around. Oh make sure if you burn to get at minimum 50spf because we did 30spf and still burned so just an fyi…

Enjoyed the property and great proximity to restaurants, mall, beach and downtown. Disappointed at check in experience. Asked for 3 favors… get a better room thank overlooking valet a driveway, honor the $35 resort credit that hotels.com had but I didn’t have attached to my room or discount the $60 per day valet charge as I was not leaving with car for entire stay. She said no to all asks and was not very nice about any of it. Seems she was having a tough day. We used the free beach bikes which was a great hotel perk but first one had a flat soon after leaving hotel and the other bikes where not in very good condition. The hostess at hotel restaurant was also not overly friendly during our Sunday brunch visit. So many great perks and opportunities at the hotel but the staff could use some better customer service training

Room was noisy overlooking courtyard and restaurants and I had to switch to other side of hotel. Sparse amenities in room. Bed was very comfortable. Convenience to shopping and walking to other restaurants was great. They don’t have a salon but there are plenty in salon suites across the way. Spa is way over priced. On site restaurant was very good.

This place is beautiful and the view we had was incredible!! They put us on the top floor (8) with an ocean view. It was clear and gorgeous!! Room was immaculate and very roomy. The staff was exceptionally polite. I will definitely go back for a special occasion.

Perfect location right at the beach. Sunset views. Close to amenities like the pier, shopping and restaurants. Plus easy to get to LA or south to Newport Beach. The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and spotless. I would recommend the Pasea to anyone looking to visit Huntington Beach and the surrounding area.

The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for the Surf City Marathon. Lobby is open with nice view of the view and ocean. We had a 2 queen room w partial ocean and partial city view and balcony - well worth it! Love that they accept dogs of any size. $150/n felt steep but includes free collar, dog toy and use of dog beds and bowls - we didn’t know any of that so remember to ask for those perks when you bring your dog. Great ambiance and location cannot be beat for beach and ocean boulevard access.

Loved our staycation at the Pasea Hotel & Spa, super relaxing and beautiful ocean views. We will definitely be back. We splurged for an ocean front room and it was worth it, quiet and gorgeous sunsets. We also enjoyed a couples massage at the spa that was incredible and room service in bed. The perfect way to relax!

The room was bright and the view was fantastic. We stayed there with three people, but there were only two pairs of slippers, and even though we requested more twice, they were never delivered.

The property was nice, and the view we had was excellent. We had a partial ocean view facing the pier. If you prefer a quieter room, I would recommend choosing a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The side we were on faced the tree bar, and the music can be loud until 10:00 PM on weekdays and until midnight on weekends. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

The room was ok, for what we paid I would expect meticulous, not a worn damaged mirror. Or walls in toilet room. Shower head needs to be cleaned. While the beach view rooms are nice. There is no privacy on the balconies.Room service was good but the Guac and chips could be better. Chips were stale and soaked in oil. I could not eat them.. Other then that it was a nice view and stay.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms. We liked the layout of the room especially the slide away door in the shower area. We had a partial ocean view and it was nice. The staff was great, particularly Jessica at the front desk. The pool area was nice, close to dining and the bar. We only wished they had frozen drinks available in the pool/bar area, other people we talked to agreed with us...we have never seen outside an outside bar near the pool that did not offer frozen drinks. We we survived...lol...We would stay here again.

Everything was Absolutely amazing!

When I arrived at the hotel and tried to check in at 3 instead of 4pm, I was turned away and told I would get a text. I waited until 4pm with no updates, at which point I went back to the counter and they gave me a room instantly. I was told my luggage would be sent up to the room, but it wasn't, I had to go back to the front desk and take it up myself because I could not wait any longer. After checking in, the room looked very old, the bathroom fittings had paint chipping off, the room phone did not work which is why I had to head back to the front desk for every request. The next morning, I noticed there was a red stain on the carpet in my room. The soap dispensers looked old and seemed dirty as well. I tried to go to the beach and the hotel did not have any sunscreen, not even the gift shop. The hotel charged me extra for resort fees and even charged me 60$ per night for valet even though I was staying at the hotel. Worst of all, the next day when I attempted to check out of the hotel, the valet took ONE HOUR to retrieve my car. It was a busy day BUT I saw multiple employees just wandering around and paying extra attention to the more expensive cars that came in. At one point I noticed 4 valets just hovering around one Ferrari. At some point they claimed they couldn't find my car and then the same employee just wandering around came up in my car. Ridiculous

Great view of PCH, and beach. Walking distance to dinning, shopping, and pier. Only odd thing is rooms have a door that slides open from outside for un-obstructed view of whoevers in the shower 😅.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly and the weekend we stayed there they had the airshow which you could see either from the hotel room or downstairs where they set up a very nice place to see it from ground level

This is not beach front! There's a main room in between so the beach isn't easily accessible. Check in counter felt a bit profiled when I walked in. The cafe used old frozen fruits for a smoothie it was horrible.

Overall good experience

The staff was very polite and helpful. When I arrived I was given a room overlooking a wedding. The purpose of my trip was to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary. My husband passed away one year ago so watching a wedding party was a bit much for me. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. I was accommodated right away. Stephanie came up with my key and assisted me with moving to my new room. I very much appreciated the kindness and excellent hospitality.

Paséa was such a beautiful hotel and the service was awesome. Across from the beach and easy to access it. They let us borrow sand toys for my kids and beach towels! Definitely will be coming back!

Pretty much every room has an ocean view. Its nice to go to sleep and wake up to the beautiful Pacific blue. Rooms are beautiful. 2 excellent bars. Pacific City is next door. Downtown Huntington Bea h is a 5 minute walk. Beach is across the street. Valet is pricey, but convenient. Only thing I found not good was mosquitos in my room. Not sure if it was just mine or more rooms had them?

There was a charge for vip upgrade even though rooms were available, so we didn’t do it. The daily amenities include use of pool and towels, nothing special. I feel parking valet is quite expensive since you have no choice. $60 a day!

Of course the Pacific Ocean beach itself is magnificent, but the Pasea is across a busy 6-lane beach roadway from the beach. And price-wise, I nearly fainted when I saw my bill, even though I knew the nightly price of the rooms. W-A-Y expensive restaurant prices, massage prices, tax-after-tax charge. (I might have to get a second job to pay off my credit card bill!)

Had an AMAZING time!! They are super dog friendly! We brought our yellow lab and she loved it! The hotel provided her with a dog bed, dog bowl and complimentary gifts: new leash, harness, toys, collar with all with the hotel’s logo. (It was the right size too!) Sooo cute! They even have a dog area equipped with water fountains and even a cute dog house that looks like a lifeguard station, dog bone shaped bench, etc.! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful! There were complimentary flip flops for both I and my husband which came in handy! Very clean room! Room is designed beautifully. We were impressed the moment we walked in! Room service food was actually delicious! View is amazing!!!! We will be back!!!

Love this hotel! Stayed here before, great place with confortable beds and great view!

Excellent overall

Stay was amazing. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Location was excellent.

Spent here a night :) with my family, was an utter dream, the food to our room, the view, the sunset, the shower, everything. Just utter heaven :) we order breakfast to our room and was beyond delicious, got it within a few minutes, even tea the night before. Everything beyond amazing quality.

I understand the difference between an ocean front vs ocean view vs partial ocean view is- not my family’s first rodeo in regard to beach resorts. The hotel “upgraded” our partial ocean to ocean view- (it was still a partial ocean view )- the hotels designation of what qualifies to which category is skewed. The in room catalogue clearly breaks down the room types which contradicts what the front desk follows. Staff was very responsive, and for the sake of not arguing or going back a forth with the very nice lady- paid for the ocean and elected to stay in what was clearly a partial ocean view -

When you check the staff does not explain anything about the property besides upsell you on room upgrades. The food isn’t a great as portrayed

Pay the extra money for an ocean view or you will be stuck looking at a dirty rooftop and a/c units.

My wife and I have stayed at several different properties in Hunting Beach. This was our first stay at the Pasea. Nice property. Great location. Was a 10 minute walk to Main Street and the Huntington Beach Pier. Not really any good food options in the hotel. But plenty of options within walking or driving distance. Our one complaint with the property is with the pool for the guests. Property and priced and presented as a luxury hotel spa. The pool area was small. Limited number of lounge chairs for guests. Surrounding the pool side were larger bed lounges. But those were for an additional cost. Anywhere from $300 to $500 each. No normal lounge chairs poolside. There is also one pool for all guests. So you end up paying $300 for a bed or $750 for a cabana and then you are surrounded by everyone’s kids splashing and screaming in the pool. If you’re going to have one pool for all guests, then get rid of the upcharged beds and put out more normal lounge chairs that are free to use. Hilton a few hotels down has a completely separate area for kids to go crazy and another for adults to relax. Won’t be staying here again for that reason.

Gorgeous property! Staff were ALL amazing! My only suggestion is to have adult only hours for the in the evenings. We were trying to relax in The spa from 8-10pm, and there were lots of kids going back and forth from the pool to the spa. It was very annoying.

the property vibe was eclectic & comfortable

Absolutely spectacular property. The facility was emasculate, the staff were enthusiastic and the all around vibes were perfection. I will never stay anywhere else when traveling to HB.

Excellent hotel. Other than the beautiful room the front desk customer service was by far the best I have ever experienced. My wife and I will be back here again.

Beautiful ocean view from the balcony, relaxing pool and heated jacuzzi, and so many great restaurants in and near the hotel within walking distance. Loved our stay!

The biggest let down was the quality of food and beverage available on site. The service was prompt and the staff was very attentive but the kitchen and bar never really matched the location and amenities.

You can check out bikes. They also had chairs and an umbrellas for the beach. They also had bike butlers to help you to the beach.

Parking is too expensive when you pay for an expensive room as it is.

This modern dog friendly hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff everywhere we went were really great. The room was nice and clean. The clear shower window from the bedroom was different, but good thing they have a door so you have the peek-a-boo option. The beds were very comfortable. My daughter didn't want to get out of it. The views were very nice. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the beach goers and the ocean. This is our 2nd time staying here and it never disappoints. We weren't able to enjoy the pool because it was full and no available lounge chairs. The area isn't that big. But it still was a nice time.

Good location and great hotel!

Disappointed! I had intended for my sons Birthday gift which he had wanted to stay for a few days at one of the hotels on huntington beachs beachfront. So I purchased 2 days at Pasea Hotel. He enters his room and theres womens products in the bathroom, trash left throughout the room, the staff were very unprofessional and asked if he wanted the sheets changed???? Then they cleaned the room while he was in it???? They offered him a one hour additional time to check out??? This was the beginning of his birthday weekend and I feel you could of compinsated alot more than that??? There were 2 weddings this weekend at hotel and hotel was full from those 2 parties so I realize you were busy but that shouldnt have anything that would affect our stay especially since we payed alot of money for a 2 day stay!!

Everything was excellent except parking. Hotel only offers valet parking. Street parking is limited and parking structures were limited as well. This makes it difficult when you are visiting the beach with chairs etc and need to sue your car several times a day.

Loved the ladies in the Spa, they were amazing.

Great hotel, but the only issue is that there are lots of people at the pool, and it took 25 minutes to get a drink order in. Other than that, the room was clean property was beautiful and it is near so many great food places and shops!

Truly enjoyed the food and drinks by the pool! Staff is super nice and professional!

A word to the wise, there is a night club next to the pool side of the hotel and is very loud if your room is facing the pool side like ours was. Ask for the opposite side if your a lite sleeper. If it wasn't for that I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Lovely property, great views and warm and friendly staff!! The ocean, close by shopping and dining options are fabulous. Can't wait to come back.

The hotel itself is really nice—modern, clean, and visually impressive. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, justifying the high price in terms of amenities and design. The overall environment of the hotel felt upscale and relaxing. The Bad: Check-In Experience & Customer Service My experience at check-in was disappointing. The lady at the front desk seemed uninterested and even rude. From the very first impression, I felt unwelcome—not what you expect when paying over $1,000 for a single night. The staff did not make any effort to greet me warmly or explain the hotel features, which made me feel like my business wasn’t valued. Overall Impression First impressions matter: When you’re paying a premium price, you expect not just a nice room, but also excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the attitude of the front desk staff overshadowed the quality of the hotel itself. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that I decided to leave early—something I’ve never done before at a luxury property. Would I Recommend? If you value customer service and feeling welcomed, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. The facilities are excellent, but the staff’s attitude—especially at check-in—made my stay unpleasant and not worth the high price. No matter how beautiful the hotel, it’s the people who make you want to return. Sadly, I didn’t feel that here.

I loved Pasea. The staff was so friendly and treated our dog so well. It’s a great, walkable location to shopping and restaurants. My only complaint, and it’s very minor, is we requested additional towels that weren’t delivered. Otherwise, I would return or recommend Pasea.

A wonderful experience extremely comfortable beds

The king size bed was super comfy. My only thing is I tried several times to book my wife a massage/facial and the website to book was very complicated. There wasn’t an option really to book and seemed like all the services were taken. Even when the virtual assistant texted to assist they just texted me an extension to reach the spa. Other than that I’d highly recommend staying at Paséa.
