This was the best place to stay. From when you walk in and smell the amazing clean hotel scent, to the best check-in and the housekeeping is the best. They accommodate anything you need and are incredibly kind. Both the Cabo Wabo and Surf Hero Market Place was amazing. Angel who works in the Surf Hero was very kind and helpful. 2 min from the ocean. Would stay here again.

We had a great time. However I had 2 separate delivery people tell me the Hilton wouldn’t let them bring my food to the room. This was annoying bc my food got stolen out of the lobby on the second time I ordered it. The staff acted like it was my fault.

The property was very nice and the staff in room were exceptional. I did feel there was a lot of added extra costs that were not explained until I got home and called. The 300 and some dollars for parking, a couple $20 charges etc.

Horrible stay! Paid for an ocean front room, extra charged but had a beam running across the windows. And the street noise was so loud. The staff was rude and not hospitable. Never coming back!

The pool service was not so good. Sat for an hour before drink service came around, and the restaurant service at Cabo was poor. Our order was brought to us wrong and the eggs had to have been out of a carton. It was a holiday weekend and I think short staffed. Stayed there plenty of other times and not an issue. 🙁

Room was clean and hotel was beautiful… stayed in both towers and they seem the same to me… the Dolphin is just more expensive… the only complaints I might have was the horribly loud music from the pool, all day and then the “club” at night… that was not fun… and housekeeping… I was on vacation… they were trying to touch up the room by 9 am and texting asking if they should just skip the room since we were sleeping… umm… no… but I’m going to sleep in on my vacation. Other than those 2 things… it was a great stay!!

The resort was great. We enjoyed the Cabo Wabo bar. I do recommend that you book in advance to enjoy a better rate, however this resort is worth every penny. It’s located directly across from the Pacific Ocean and walking distance to Main St.

I booked the king studio suite. It had a great view, somewhat spacious. The furniture was a little cluttered, as well as old and worn. The decor needs to be updated. The bathroom is small and needs an upgrade. The amenities are pretty basic. I would say the service is 4 star, but the hotel is more of a 3 star. I think I expected a little better considering it was Hilton. Overall I’ll rate it as average.

My special needs son and I had the best stay at the Waterfront Beach Resort. I loved the easy access to the beach and the view from the pool, he loved being able to wander wherever he wanted and do his own thing. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival which was absolutely fantastic! Staff was super friendly and took initiative, anticipating needs. We will definitely return!

The room was not very clean, shower was old and handles loose. Towels were old and not white, mattress had a large wear tear on the corner. Wasn’t up to Hilton standards for sure. Pool was nice and staff there were lovely. Valet team was polite and efficient. Check in staff seemed not happy and quite unhelpful. Likely my last stay at this location.

We loved our time here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious at the restaurants and the pool. Amazing weekend breakfast buffet with so many options. Plus the gorgeous beach right across the street.

The people were very nice, and I like how they text you to see if you want your room cleaned later if you sleep in. Location was perfect, and the street wasn't loud. The housekeeping kept our room clean but the towels, coffee etc were never replaced, and I'd have to call. In my opinion, the $55 a day parking fee (forced Vallet) feels like gouging when there aren't other options. Upper-end hotels should have it included in the price. I would stay there again unless the Hyatt was a comparable price.

Just the parking litle high prices

We stayed on the 9th floor in a 1br suite. We were down the hall from the rooftop lounge. The good news is the music shuts down at 8:45. The bad news is loud people tromp down the hallway past your room for an hour after that.

Very Happy with our stay here. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. Right across from the beach and had a wonderful pool and hot tub. Very spacious room with nice furniture and finishes. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean, nice modern beachy decor, good restaurants and bars. It was everything we hoped for. Didn’t even need a car as everything was within walking distance.

The two separate balcony's facing the ocean in our room were great. I recommend getting one of the top floor rooms, awesome views. Easy walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants. All the staff were polite and helpful. Overall a great spot.

Marcos was great asking how our stay was, and even deliverd some items I needed right away. I love this hotel for a staycation, and its great for poeple from out of town to stay!

My room was clean. Housekeeping did a great job, the grounds were clean and wall kept. Everything very accessible. Front desk was able to accommodate me when I was uncomfortable in my first room. Only down side there was a baby in the room next door that was crying ALL night Saturday.

Check in was literally at 4pm. Other guest were able to check in prior. Was an inconvenience trying to have the children change into swimsuits without a room and luggage. Pool slide closed at 5pm. The room had a weird smell to it when checked in.

This hotel was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We could see the ocean from our room and it was just across the PCH. It had its own restaurants, but so close to other great restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend

We tried to reserve two lounges in their reserved area with an ocean view for a couple of hours, but it was priced at $250 for two people, which seemed excessive, especially since no one was using them. They should have offered it at half that price; I bet they would have been sold out. We looked at other hotels in the area, and this is a really nice resort. We then went to the other pool, but it was quiet since there was no music. The DJ didn’t show up until Sunday.

Everything about this place was beautiful. There was a photo op everywhere you looked. We stayed for one night and my kids wanted to keep swimming the day we had to check out at 11 AM so I went to the reception and asked if we had to leave the premises and they gave me a key to access the pool held my luggage and told me the car can stay in valet until 10 PM that night. Customer service was always great. I asked for towels in the middle of the night and they brought them to me right away. Im definitely coming back.

Staff, all the way around was wonderful. Property itself, beautiful. Ocean front view, it was there in an expected distance. I had second floor so traffic on PCH was a bit loud, if sliders were open, but again, not unexpected. Not sure if that factor lessened as you elevated. Great restaurants, close by places to explore. Overall, a definite do over!

Very pet friendly! Grass around the hotel and a little city park a couple of blocks away for the morning and evening walks, and the beach dog park a short drive all made a nice stay with our big dog! Clean and comfortable room and very helpful and friendly staff.

The pre check in process and check in process is absolutely terrible. I’ve now tried three different times / stays after choosing the Pasea previously to make this property work. It doesn’t and the coordination of rooms and requests isn’t worth the hassle. I am a personal and business traveler of Hilton elsewhere and really wanted this to work but it does not. I requested and pre called multiple days in advance on multiple trips stating our family’s arrival time, a crib for the room for our 8 month old, and a hypo allergenic request. I also booked a premium room with extra living room. None of which were ready or prepared on time on 3 separate stays. I’ve honestly never stayed at a property that had a 4pm check in time to begin with but then to have us check in AFTER 4pm with multiple days notice is wild. We stayed for 2 days as a family and didn’t check in until after 4 on our first night…. That’s basically an entirely paid night wasted. It’s honestly a shame because the staff is great with the exception of the team who prioritize arrivals and requests. I have rated properties globally on behalf of a very trusted organization, and this property would have aggressively failed. The property did extend credits to us after the fact but I wasn’t expecting anything other than what was promised and expected as a guest. We’ll be staying next door at the Pasea and if you’re a traveling family. You probably should as well.

Amazing property with great amenities. This location is perfect for families with spacious suites and comfortable beds. Both pools were great and the menus are well priced. From arrival in valet, to the bell desk helping us load out; we will definitely be back! If Huntington Beach is a stop on your next family trip, book the waterfront!

Cant beat the location and the pool is perfect for kids

The location was wonderful, right next to the beach, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our six year old loved the pool slides and the gift shop. We enjoyed the restaurants Cabo Wabo was great pool side food. We visited Henry’s, my husband loved the salmon. It was the perfect family vacation!

Everything was great except for the checkin. They Didn't check us in our till almost 5. We arrived to the resort around 130 hoping that our room would be ready. I fill for the amout we paid to stay there we sould of had our room earlier.

This property is in a perfect location which is its major advantage above others in the area. There are a couple of restaurants here which are decent. The strip mall is super close as well with food options. They offer many amenities including ability to rent bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas and fire pits on the beach. The staff who checked us in were friendly and helpful! A shoutout to Chez for checking us in and additionally addressing one issue we did have during our stay this trip. Hotel is relatively close to the airport (25mins) and walkable to the pier and other Main Street attractions. The room we booked is perfect for our family and the pools are great.

We booked an oceanview room and when we checked in, it was on the 3rd floor and blocked by all the palm trees...no view. They moved us on the 3rd night to higher floor and it was much better but we only got to enjoy it for one night. That new room had brown water coming out of the shower, no conditioner and no waste basket liner. The towels were like sandpaper. It really did not feel like a luxury hotel at all.

The hotel was good just did not meet what I was expecting.

Got an upgrade from a 1 bed garden view to king suite dolphin tower with ocean view for 250 per night. What they fail to tell u is all the other fees involved. Also, during our 5 day stay the room was not made up twice. Toilet paper and tissue paper was not refilled at all. Management refuses to acknowledge it and kept on saying we had the so not disturb sign on which is totally false. If u wat a relaxful day at the beach and come back to a clean suite this is not the place customer service is one of the lowest for all the hiltons I've been at. Be very careful and think twice before booking if you don't want headaches.

Location is excellent, beautiful property. However, our coffee machine did not work properly. We simply wanted hot water, but it didn't work doing that. Also, there was construction somewhere above our room. Sounded like a hammer drill. Went on for hours. We were there in the off season. Not sure we got the full experience. We stayed there while attending the Expo West show and some vacation. Not sure we got an office season rate. Didn't think about it until I thought about it.

The staff was incredibly nice and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was handled. A huge plus was the free shuttle service, which made it so easy to explore the local restaurants and shopping areas without any hassle. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a seamless and beautiful beach getaway!

When we checked in, they charged my card a $600 hold for incidentals, even though only $300 was required. Temps were in the high 40s at night and our room never went above 68 degrees, although thermostat was set as high as it could go.

Construction blocking the driveway without notice to the Valet team? On a Saturday night? The absolute worst arrival experience Ever! Trapped by cars in front and behind, driveway divided lengthwise and blocked at midpoint, right at the lobby Entry by phony looking barricades. No one was going anywhere while some unskilled driver went back and forth across the T, Trapped!! Desperate for the “loo” after a long drive! This situation was unfolding at ~10 PM on a Saturday night, with lots of people suddenly unable to retrieve their cars from the valet, nor could anyone arrive. Full Stop. Total fiasco! I believe I was awakened about 4 AM by jackhammers inside the hotel with the same mismanaged construction people. All the Hilton employees were great, very professional, including the valets in terms of their demeanor, having to deal with a construction fiasco!!!

Unfortunately this stay was full of various issues from the AC not working, to the WiFi not working, pool closures and loud cement resurfacing noise daily.

Room was nice. Good view. Could not get a late check out. No fridge in room but no microwave. Had to go to first floor to get hot water. Parking was all valet. Hotel was pricey.

Great beach, ocean and mountain views from the partial ocean view rooms over the pool, water slides and outdoor patio. Staff very nice, interior restaurant is very good and the rooftop bar is world class!

Room had a lovely view of the beach and ocean, but it is showing signs of wear, especially in the bathroom. Shower curtain had toothpaste on it when we arrived. Overall the hotel property is nice and the hotel staff is attentive.

Our family of 4 really liked this hotel. We stayed here over Thanksgiving week as our hub for Disneyland and had a blast. Pool is great, great location, and beach right across the street. Super clean and it seemed that most of the rooms had great views with the way the buildings are set up to look out over the 2 different pool areas. Would definitely book here again!

There was a wedding party going on until 10:00 PM with very loud music with lots of bass, making it difficult to go to bed early. No self park options, you had to pay $55 per night for valet (before tip). Other than that... The rooms were in great condition and the staff was very friendly.

Easy access by car to Hwy 1 and the property has everything that you need. Love the beach views and quick walk to the ocean to play.

The staff was welcoming and we loved the location! The only couple of downers were being woken up at 7am by our next door lodgers loudly singing happy birthday to someone in their party. As much as we would’ve loved to congratulate the birthday person, we would’ve really appreciated an extra hour of sleep on our vacation. We were able to appreciate their happiness until they left their room three hours later 😅. Also with a car event hosted by local police outside, we were able to hear loud revving from cars all the way until the event ended at 3pm. All’s to say, thicker walls would’ve been a really welcome feature. Lastly, we were also told that in-room dining was open until 10pm. We ordered food on our last night and when I called at 8:50 to add a dessert to our order we were told we’d likely be putting staff out, as they would be closing at 9:30. If there were different hours, we misunderstood, but maybe a “last-call” time reminder somewhere would’ve been appreciated. Otherwise, beautiful property and overall mostly satisfactory stay.

We have stayed here multiple times and love it. Great location, great facilities. Restaurants and bars are awesome. The location is right on the strip, and you can walk everywhere. The view of the ocean is awesome. Highly recommend this place

We also weren’t impressed with the valet service—not because of the staff, but the price. It felt excessive for a single overnight stay. On a positive note, we did enjoy the food at Cabo Wabo near the pool area. The atmosphere was nice, and the meals were good. All in all, while the location is great, the experience didn’t justify the cost. I’m not sure we’d return based on this stay.

Everything was great just except on the check out cleaning ladies were knocking in my door at nine in the morning which checkout was at 11. I understand that it was a busy Labor Day weekend, but didn’t find that cool at all.

Called 3 times for refrigerator that didn’t work an our food was ruined. Only recieved (2) bathing towels, tv didn’t work on last Dayan wi-fi was horrible . Spent a lot of money for nice room with balcony a view of beach , for what I paid an all these hiccups I shoukd have been some type of refund or discount .

A beautiful resort with the beach just quick walk across the street. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Lots of chairs at the pools, pool service, the rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Beautiful artwork is located throughout the resort. I would definitely come back. It is a lot closer than Hawaii and the location to the beach makes it a great choice for a quick sunny getaway.

Everything about this place was excellent.

The “Offshore” restuarant offered delicious options, cocktails, and the view of the ocean was amazing! They even offered blankets once it got cool. The retractable roof and wall to wall windows felt like such a high-end amenity. Our server Beth was so friendly and attentive. Memorable experience!

The front desk staff are unhelpful, dishonest, and disrespectful to customers — especially the man whose name I don’t know because he tried to hide it with his body.

Great place to stay. Rooms were not sound proof especially first floor with kids being loud. I still had a good time with my toddler. Parents, please bring a radio sound for your toddler to sleep uninterrupted at night!

Property was beautiful. Close to downtown Huntington Beach. Beautiful view of the ocean. However, dogs of other guests were barking and woke us up at 6 am two days in a row.

I loved how close it was to the beach and the shopping. What I didn't like were the hidden fees we were hit with at check-in that tied up our funds during our stay.

Great place for a few days stay! Food everywhere. Pools are great. Kids pool- get there early for a seat or after 11 goodluck till 5. Other pool aka afult pool was busy but still had room daily. Very quiet tho! Food and drinks great. Cabana service was phenomenal. Dont ask for a late check out they dint like to give those....Had to beg to get till 12. I've never had issues at any Marriott. We have hold status with Hilton too a

Check in staff was dismissive of my request. They made it up by texting me directly to ask if everything was ok.

The staff was good other than the front desk. Not sure why this property does deposits for EVERY night you’re there. Asinine. Then you charge the room and it’s not taken out of the deposit. Anyway other than that good property to stay and amenities.

The property is amazing. Only thing that would be nice if valet wasn’t mandatory and had an additional charge. If it’s mandatory let’s include it in the fee for the stay…

The staff especially the housekeeping staff members were the kindest most caring and welcoming people. I always feel like I am at home when we stay here. Beyond beautiful. Great pools and beach across the street and maybe great restaurants and stores in walking distance.

Few key points to remember. Pet friendly Music at the pool Drinks / full bar We stayed in the dolphin tower - room was ocean view it was beautiful and worth the price Pool is fun, if you get the special pool chairs with the view/s, it is only until 5pm we were not told that. Pool is normally open until 9/10pm. We had to move the entire family and pool stuff at 5pm It is expensive. only two restaurants in the actual resort You will have to valet your car they do charge you for everything the baby crib is not a crib it was a play bin-

Great location, nice amenities and amazing staff!

We had a great experience at The Waterfront Beach Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of three and we enjoyed the pool, Cabo Wabo restaurant, and used the valet service a lot. I also used the fitness room which was great for strength training and running on the treadmill. The location is awesome, across from the ocean and just 5 minutes away from dining and shopping.

Staff was friendly, location is perfect, pool areas are beautiful. Room was cozy and décor in the hotel and room was cute. Only complaint is that the room we stayed it really needs a deep clean or a little updating. It was surprising a little dirty and the sheets and pillows also smelled. Other than that the view from our room was really nice. Overall a nice stay, would stay again.

Great Property. Valet was quick and efficient, Unlike all the other reviews. The property was across the street from Huntington Beach. Easy, and quick access to the beaches. unfortunately, the beach supplies were in short demand and they never had a boogie board at all. The staff said they only carried three or four. So much for the resort fee.

I wish there was someone that gave a tours .. I was so lost.. also mybmirror stopped working and my espresso machine never worked. But besides that it was great

Loved the location and proximity to the beach. The area was walkable and clean. I felt the fitness center could have been better equipped, but that may be me. It did have two pools and service was great. Staff at front desk wasn’t the warmest, but valet staff was excellent. The cafe’s staff was also very friendly. Sink was very slow to drain and service to room was basic. Not a lot of going above and beyond. I would stay again.

Enjoyed the various amenities like bar and restaurant. Pillows in the bedroom could be better. It was a convenient walk to the beach.

Even though the hotel was super busy they were very accommodating to our needs. The view was amazing and the beach had a very easy access. My kids had a lot of fun at the pool. Only thing I was disappointed was that there were blue berries on the side of the couch when we checked in which I think the housekeeper didn’t notice. Overall very kid friendly hotel

It was a wonderful resort! The property is beautiful and the location couldn't be better! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We loved it 😁

Everything was great & convenient. The only negatives I would say is our room was not ready for an hour after check in time (no comps offered to make up for it) & drink/food costs were extremely high.

Really enjoyed this place. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the pool with views of the beach. Right across from PCH so easy walk to the beach. Only about a 10 min walk to the pier. The pool are area was very nice. Had plenty of lounge chairs and food and drink service. The food at the cabo wabo cantina was very good. I know the rooms are a little pricey but you do get what you're paying for. Hotel staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
