Pictures online compare to location need to get updated . Lake view drain in top was very moldy. The outside needs a good power wash . The outside area needs a lot of trash picked up . Staff was nice and bery personable. We asked for a crib and the leg was broken on the playpen . My tv was having issue so a tech had to stop by and fix it.

The property was well maintained & rooms were clean, front desk staff was helpful when I requested clean towels & they were brought to our room in a timely manner. The hotel is close to everything 👍

The staff is amazing and friendly. This is our 4th stay. Always clean. Nice bar/mini food options located in lobby. The pool was clean and great for the kids. The beds were comfy and room was cool and clean. Highly recommend. Will definetly stay again.

Didn’t appreciate housekeeping knocking on doors at 8 am. They wouldn’t stop knocking until we got up to answer them. Then they told us to get out by 10 when we knew we had till 12. Called down to front desk to find out this is an on going problem. They apologized but if it’s ongoing why allow it. If you don’t want to wake up before 8:05 put out your sign. Also thanks for sparing 2 towels for 2 people. Plus 1 wash cloth.

The staff was very welcoming, professional, and informative. The breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel in many years. The location was great for shopping and dining. Not being able to see out of the room windows. If there was an option, I was not aware of how to make the change.

Location was excellent… the deck overlooking the water was very nice, and the inside of the hotel is beautiful. Inside the lobby is extremely clean and smells nice. The room itself was very nice… furniture in great condition, mini fridge cold, towels and bedding were extremely clean and smelled fresh. First and foremost, the photos of the pool were taken at an angle that makes the pool APPEAR to be huge and very luxurious… but it’s tiny and only 4.5’ deep ! More like a pool for a few kids than the massive resort style pool that the online image suggests. We actually circled the entire property thinking we had somehow overlooked the pool featured in the hotel photos. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING if your favorite part of staying in a hotel is relaxing in the pool. Room 134 had a slight musty / mildew scent that was emphasized every time the AC fan would kick on. That being said, the AC fan would not work at all on high - only on low, and the room didn’t really cool down properly until the middle of the night.

This hotel was amazing. The staff’s were very welcoming and nice. The location is great around a lot of shopping stores and restaurants. I had the room with river view which was also nice. They have a restaurant inside but I didn’t try the food so unsure and they also serve breakfast . The breakfast was pretty decent and they also had people that came around and collected your trash and wipe down tables when your done. Everything was amazing. Also the outside view was nice .

From check in, to cleaning crew, to check out, the staff was excellent. Hotel nice clean, great location. My only concern is the carpet in the room had the room a bit musky. Other then that...I would stay again.

Other than that, check in was long (only one person, many people checking in, computer stopped working), the room was less than desirable (window was covered with white plastic except for the top 12 inches, the table lamp was not working and could not be replaced, the shower handle was rusted), hot water that does not smell of coffee is only available downstairs after asking the host team, all guests share one and only microwave in the lobby (which is not cleaned often enough), people smoke on the patio which makes it impossible to enjoy by those that dont smoke.

Had a wonderful Trip and Stay. The Staff was excellent. Im going to stay here again.

The rooms were comfy and spacious. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Coffee in the morning on the back patio was really nice. Bar in the evening was an extra bonus we didn’t even realize was on property. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, great hospitality! Clean room, surrounding area has plenty of shopping, and food. Uber service very efficient. Breakfast almost non existent. I stayed 3 nights I got bacon last day. They didn’t have anything else. But we did go to Kekes cafe down the way for breakfast.

Booked a lake view room and ended up with room 134. Windows were tint with a blurred out film and we got not see the lake. Lake view rooms are extra and I was very disappointed we had no view and lower level. SMH!

We booked a double queen bed several months out. Day of arrival, we checked in around 4pm for a two-night stay. The lady working the front desk said sorry we do not have any double queen rooms left so we gave you a king bed with a pull-out couch. We also gave you a "lake view". I said no way, due to circumstance we need what we paid for. She said sorry, you used a third party (hotels.com) and we do not have to honor that. Unreal. I called hotels.com and after over an hour on the phone they said they could try to move us somewhere. Again, we booked this hotel in the area we needed to be on the day we needed for the State Championships, I could not risk being moved somewhere else in Jacksonville for a variety of reasons. We made do, but it was beyond uncomfortable and the reason for not honoring is unacceptable. By the way, the lake view (retention pond) was blocked and instead it was the view of the roof. What we really saw out our window was a clogged, moldy roof drain. Be careful booking this particular Hyatt and that is all I have left to say.

The only issue we had was that we booked a 2 Queen bed room and we only had one King bed. It wasn't what we paid for and the hotel said that the 3rd party site we used (Hotels.com), did not know their inventory when booking so they offered something they didn't have. That part was disappointing, but everything else about the hotel and area was good.

I was pleasantly surprised as Hyatt Place Jacksonville had a somewhat posh air about it (the lobby decor, outside deck on the lake and the hotel room). I would absolutely stay there again! It did not disappoint.

One hotel staff was so kind. As for the others they need a refresher course on being nice and not making snide comments. Also we stayed 2 nights so that’s 2 free supposedly continental breakfast. We only had one due to the last day not anything being served at breakfast AT ALL TO ANYONE! Staff was very great at bringing blankets and such in a very quick manner so appreciative of that!

Bathroom was disgusting. If we weren’t only staying one night we would have requested another room. Bathtub was stained and toilet was black in spots. This is unacceptable in a Marriott hotel, even lower tier.

We came for a quick weekend getaway and to do some shopping at Town Center. The hotel is super close, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Check in was quick ad easy. Our room was clean and had a great view of the lake behind the hotel. The breakfast was top notch. I was impressed with the presentation of all the food and the many choices. Real eggs, fresh fruit and juice.

Room was clean. Staff courteous, especially front desk staff. Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay for Valentines weekend. The check-in staff were very courteous and attentive. Answered any questions with excellent knowledge and even had recommendations on where to visit. The room was very clean and bigger than I thought. All in all very good experience and will definitely return. I live local but this was the first time staying and walking around the Town Center instead of worrying about traffic and parking. What a wonderful experience.

The room was very good with a nice view. The breakfast was also nice. The only complaint was the check in took very long and there was no proper check-in desk. You walk in and look around to where you can check-in to get your room key and there is a guy with a man-bun sitting watching his videos to the right that is very slow (nice enough) but slowwww. That was the only part that was very weird. The pool in the back outside was also nice.

Room was full of issues. The bathroom door got stuck in there because the handle broke the toilet dispensary was hanging off. The sofa was spotted up with white spots that looked very unsettling. It was raggedy under you for the soul for the carpets was dirty. Definitely surprised to see that Hyatt room look like that especially it was a Lakeview and I spent the extra money just to add a Lake view and the staff overall was good but they didn’t try to fix none of that stuff. I was there that’s the only drawback, but I mean overall like the higher, but this was just not a particular good experience with them there and they didn’t even give me any points for my stay offered the inconvenience. I would probably use to hide it again, but most likely not that location.

We couldn’t check in late night on Christmas day because their network was down. Front desk said that they couldn’t get a hold of a manager and couldn’t do anything for us. We had to scramble to find another hotel in the middle of the night after a 12 hour drive. Unacceptable.

The room was nice! I LOVE the sofa bed. We usually sit and lie there when we just got back from going around the city and do not want to dirty the bed. The room was clean. Some areas may have been cleaner. The complimentary items on the sink could have been a bit better, like instead of make up remover soaps, it could have been hand soaps or lotions.

The view from our room was best part of our stay. The beds were comfortable and room spacious enough. And the pool was heated. A big plus. Although convenient to places to eat and shop, it means traffic. Parking comes with a fee which others do not. Overall though it was a good place to stay.

Staff was great. Someone had broken and left part of a lamp plug in a socket and when we told the front desk they were very quick and efficient to fix the issue.

We did not get the breakfast but were informed that it’s $11 per person. We were disappointed by 2 main things. At check-in, the parking policy was never explained to us ($5 per night for gated parking which is automatically deducted from the incidentals charge). The amount is fine, it was just a nuisance to not know that, park, get settled in, and have to come back- stand in line, just to ask for clarifications on whether we’re supposed to have a hang tag/ticket, etc. since it was never explained at check-in. Next- the really annoying part of our stay… We were exhausted and had a morning flight to catch. We were awakened by a relentless knock on our door early in the morning. It was a woman in a flannel sweater jacket holding a clipboard. She barely spoke English but we figured out that she was asking “when are you leaving?” We were confused and asked, “isn’t checkout at 11?” Even though we had no plans to stay that late, we felt it was extremely unprofessional and rude to disrupt our sleep so she could ask what time we were planning on leaving. She was kind, but this caught us completely off guard and it was not something we expected to experience at a Hyatt property. She responded with “ok!” And then she turned around and left. The toilet in our bathroom was running all night. Again, because we were exhausted- we didn’t bother to complain. Just not what we expected.

Always a great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at this Hyatt Place. It is conveniently located at St. John’s. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Breakfast has a great variety, and healthy options. Parking can be a little hard in the weekends but manageable. Rooms are decent and beds are as well. My husband used the gym and he was pleased with the options. The pool was great as well.

Perfect hotel and love the close proximity to shopping. Definitely staycation vibes.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. However, we found hair o the sleeper sofa sheets indicating the sheets hadn't been washed. There was also candy and wrappers under the bed.

The property is well situated for relaxing get-aways and shopping excursions in particular. The deck on the lake and amenities are delightful!

The pool area was incredible. The sunsets over the lake were spectacular. We enjoyed our stay and the food they offered too. Wish they had better pillows though.

The rooms were ok but the patio by the riverfront was nasty. Tried to sit outside and the furniture was nasty. Elevators smelled like a wet mops I must likely don’t ever stay again.

A very nice place to stay if you are in town for an event near Maggiano’s. There’s a nice sitting area behind the hotel that overlooks a lake with lots of seating. Pool is also very nice. Good showers and comfortable.

The stay was fine but I was disappointed they would not offer a little charity to me after I mistakenly booked the wrong night. Had I known I would probably have not booked with them again and found something a little cheaper. I understand it’s a policy, but it was a completely honest mistake and it would have given me a nicer opinion of a company that showed some forgiveness.

Loved being on the water. Unfortunately, there was a wedding while we were there and our King room with a lake view was given away but we were given a discount and still got a large 2 bed Queen with a lake view so it worked out. Can't wait to stay there again

The woman who worked at the bar/starbucks in the evening was the best! Room was good. Could have used a microwave. Side tables are small; my CPAP had to sit on the floor. Bathroom was on the small size. Water pressure was so-so. I like stronger. When you turn water off it dripped onto a metal drain making an annoying noise.

The only issue we had was two lights in our room (404) did not work, one was out completely and the other desk lamp flickered when turned on. We reported it to the front desk but it was not changed while we were there. Also the only other issue we had was that there were no microwaves in the room, they had one downstairs in the lobby area, but not as convenient having to go downstairs to heat up leftovers from dinner. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

The location is amazing, across the street you will find the very famous mall with all the beautiful brands and many restaurants are in the same location. The hotel itself is nice and bright. We booked a room with a lake view, it was very nice overall

Not a good experience on checking in. Travelling with the family and she was given an option to check in early but i wasn't but instead staff said i could check in early with a $25 fee, then she said she'll wave it and acted like she did me a huge favor but never once mentioned that with the other family checking in early. Just made me feel like she didnt want my business. With this experience i wouldn't want to consider staying with Hyatt again. Ive checked in at other hotels earlier than check-in time multiple times and never pd for it, I know its not guarantee but instead was told they'll do the best they can but unfortunately that's not the kind of customer service that i received with this Hotel.

Well, we thought we were going to be at the Hyatt Regency in downtown but turned out we booked the other Hyatt colder to home and in an area full of restaurants and shops. The room is nice, big and feels and looks clean!! We had a nice stay! We would do it again!!! Saw more of Jacksonville, very nice!!

Overall it is a nice clean property, but what was not so great was, I wanted to do a earlier checkout date and couldn’t and they stated that I had already prepaid and then the day that I had to checkout the cleaning service knock on my door at 11am asking what time I was going to depart, as if I was late checking out and checkout was at noon. I inform the front desk of this and the gentleman that check me out act as if he didn’t care because I mentioned it to him twice and then he stated that he doesn’t know why they would do that.

Ciara from hotel sales was especially kind and efficient to us, arranging a meeting space for us - we are a small group of Doctoral researchers meeting to work together for a few hours. The parking lot for hotel is tricky at first. Best to check in first in order to get parking/room key as that’s the only way to enter parking lot. Hotel updated and clean. Beds are soft and non lumpy. Pillows are soft and fluffy. Rooms are nice size. No microwave.

I’ve stayed here before and it’s always good. Located in a great place with plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. It’s right across from the St. John Town Center so the shopping is right there. Will stay there again for sure in the future.

The hotel was mostly full or people doing the exact same thing we were doing, going the Tournament Players Championship in Ponte Vedre. So the vibe was fun and excited. Everyone was pumped up for the tourney. Made lots of new friends in the bar as we all talked golf and told stories. Will definitely stay there next year.

Loved how close it was to the shopping ammenities. One of the elevators was out and had long delays waiting to get on and off the floor a few times

There was a $50 charge that I was not aware of prior to arriving and a parking fee that I was not aware of till arriving!!!! There was long dark hair on all the clean towels, in the shower, and on the floor. There was food crumbs and a hair tie in the bed....

Not the easiest accessibility wise. Beautiful hotel but difficult to traverse with a physical disability. The parking is “far away” across from the hotel and not much parking, to be honest. I just needed a layover time to sleep and the beds were kind of rough, very firm but not terrible. It wasn’t all horrible, it was a very clean hotel with very clean rooms. It was just an accessible nightmare.
