I was very pleased with breakfast. I like the verity of hot and cold food and the many selections. The only thing I didn't care for is the hotel room didn't have a closed in closet, that's my only complaint. Not a deal breaker i would definitely stay again. The ourside entryway into the hotel could use some pressure washing and repainting.

Staff was awesome. Very nice breakfast setup. Nice clean room. So much nice shopping and dining within walking distance. The only complaint is outside noise. It sounded like there was some street racing going on at night. And someone in the room above me was heavy footed. With that said I would not hesitate to stay here again.

First time ever staying in a Tru. It was perfect for a short stay traveling on our way to Orlando. We appreciated the cleanliness and how the accommodations were just what was needed for a night while passing through. No carpet in the room gave it a cleaner feel. Breakfast in the AM was an added bonus. Staff was friendly and it was easy check in and check out. If you like shopping, the location is ideal with an unbelievable number of stores from Marshall’s to Upscale stores that include Gucci in the Town Center. This was a great find!

It had breakfast, pool tables, and the staff checked on you regularly and asked if you needed anything. We felt safe and it was close to shopping, eating, and golf.

Our room was very clean, the staff were great, and the location is perfect.

The lack of communication and sense of urgency of this hotel left me overly frustrated. First room I was given had a dirty bathroom worth hair standing water, and a creature. Requested a new room to be able to bathe my toddler and it was a nightmare to get anyone to help me. After several phone calls (and hours) and going back and forth between en Expedia and the hotel, I was given another room temporarily to be able to bathe my kid.this bathroom’s toilet had feces smeared on the seat and although the shower was cleaner” there was still hair as well..front desk and management didn’t communicate change of rooms, staff was just confused…finally got a new room by the end of the day. Just overall uncomfortable. Lots of more in between that was the main for me. Also, don’t expect hot water for your tea. Left the hotel more exhausted than I arrived. Definitely will NEVER go back

The pros: Clean, nice tile floor, bathroom was clean as well. Cons: The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were not hotel quality. Additionally, the elevator got stuck and guests had to use the stairs, which is horrible when carrying luggage.

Typically I love this property and have stayed several times. It’s very close to shopping and dining - many within walking distance. However, my last visit there was what seemed to be a homeless woman loitering in the lobby. The staff didn’t seem concerned so neither did I. But the next day she was came into the (very small but nice) gym with me: she had a keycard to get in and made my workout very awkward and unnerving. I didn’t mention it to the staff since she’d been in the lobby the day before they’re clearly aware of her presence on the property. I can’t say I’ll stay again after this incident. It’s worth mentioning I typically love this property a it’s clean, quiet, the breakfast is good with some healthy options and the gym is small but gets the job done (dumbbells, cardio, TRX, yoga mats) under normal circumstances I’d absolutely recommend this property.

Room was spacious except getting to the other side of the bed near the window, you have to squeeze through. Our A/C did not keep the room cool. We woke up sweating several times and finally turned the Ac down to 60 just to stay cool. Common areas were clean, as was our room. Breakfast was good.

Cab 1 elevator door opened on 3rd floor before the cab was fully level with 3rd floor elevator lobby and I tripped on the edge of the cab. Close speed of both elevator doors is too fast and the door ran into my arm once because it's too fast.

Room was great, staff was great, pretty good breakfast options. This hotel is close to everything and walking distance to major shopping and food options. We would definitely stay here again!

The bed was horrendous. Both my wife and me had a hard time sleeping and woke up sore. At this price point I would expect a lot better.

Our stay at the Tru Hotel in Jacksonville was outstanding! The hotel’s cleanliness was absolutely immaculate, setting a high bar for our future visits. From the moment we checked in with Jeanette, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, to our check-out with the gentleman in the Philadelphia Eagles hat (sorry I didn’t catch his name), the level of service was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. When we’re back in Jacksonville, there’s a very good chance we’ll book here again. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable!

I liked everything about the place it was a one stop shop ! (Restaurants, shopping where all within walking distance and they had a pool , gym and a hot breakfast)

Did not like the room itself. Too small. No coffee maker, microwave or closet. Beds were weird. Mattress smaller than frame, so hitting leg on corner of bed constantly. My bed did not have a corner bumper. Small amount of mildew on ceiling in bathroom. No fan in bathroom. Left fay early despite losing a nights charges. Wont go back.

Tru by hilton in jax town center was great! I only stayed for a night, and didn’t have to go to the desk when I got in late. Only one star dinged in cleanliness cuz I found hairs in the bed and bathroom which I wasn’t a fan of. Overall very clean otherwise and a good experience!

Love the “tru” line of hotels. They are clean, no carpet in the rooms, which we love!, complimentary breakfast is a step above other hotels, check in is easy. This one is located near a large shopping center which is very nice. Many restaurant options nearby here also. Very family friendly as well with games in the lobby area for kids!

It was a short trip to see a football game and we came in waering our jerseys... the desk attendant noticed and we had a fun exchange regarding our favorite teams. when we left, they remembered us. They asked if we enjoyed the game. It was a pleasant time and the people made it even nicer.

Was visiting family and the hotel was great. Location was next to everything we needed and easy to get to visit with family. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They got us a baby bed as soon as we checked in and got us on the list for an extra visit from housekeeping. I would stay here again.

The staff was professional and polite unfortunately we had a traumatic experience. My husband woke up with a tick attached to his back. I was mortified, I thought it was lint at first and when I couldn’t brush it off. I took pictures that’s when my husband was able to see what it was. I had to remove it with tweezers. We did report it to the front desk was offered to change rooms or complete linen change. But no refund to go to another hotel. We opted for a complete linen change which we had to do ourselves.

Our stay was AWESOME, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very very CLEAN. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and next time I'm in town I will be back thanks again...........

I treated my finacee to a hotel close to St Johns Town Center. The Hilton is a nice hotel and our experience was awesome until 25 minutes prior to check out. Then something occurred we have never experienced. Standing unclothed as we were donning our oufits for the day. 6/23/24 at 1035, checkout is 1100, the housekeeper attempted a violent entry into our room. She knocked while she was trying to gain access to our room, no verbalization of who she was. I stated loudly for her to stop as she continued to batter the extra folding mechanism device with our door. Thank goodness we utilized it. 3 times she open and closed our door rapidly and loudly against the folding stop with me requesting she stop immediately. The violence ended and I called the front desk to complain. Soon after we could hear her being spoken too. We were out by 1100. We let the front desk know at counter checkout we would never return to this Hilton. Completely wrong and uncalled for.

First time at this or any Tru by HILTON. Very pleased with the property and the convenient location. I would consider this an economical yet minimalist hotel. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed though not lush which was the price point I was looking for. The free breakfast was more than adequate and tasty, quite a number of options. Coffee available all day. Decent workout area. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely returning on my several trips a year north from south Florida.

Stopped and stayed the night on our way further south. Extremely happy with our choice. Super clean. Clean floor, sheets, bathroom, everything. Love that there are no carpets. Simple and clean. The included breakfast was great. Much better than other hotels. Everything was brought out fresh and well maintained. Great staff. Will definitely stay at Tru Hotels more often. If you enjoy hotels with moldy musty smells and dirty carpets that are 30 years old then don't book here. This place is simple and clean
