    Ive spent more money on cleaning supplies and bug spray than ive even spent on the room just to be able to go to sleep or even TRY TO EAT. the first 4 days I absolutely could not eat there were roaches EVETYWHERE COMING OUT THE WALLS TV EVEN IN FRIDGE BUY THE 4TH DAY WHEN I FI ALLY HAD TO MAKE THEM GIVE ME THE MICROWAVE OUT THE BREAK ROOM I STILL AINT TOUCHED IT BUT TO WARM MY HEATING PADS FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY THERE NO WAY ANY HUMAN SHIULD HAVE TO OR COULD SLEEP IN CONDITIONS LIKE THAT!     I had a very disappointing experience staying at this motel. The door lock was broken and did not work properly, which made me feel unsafe. The room was in terrible condition and clearly needed serious repairs and maintenance. On top of that, there was no hot water during my stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    The room was dirty. The stove, refrigerator, tub, floor. Curtains, sheets and bath tub was terrible. The room needs a whole makeover. Nothing was clean. It look like someone was staying in the room prior to us staying there. There were people outside at 2am in the morning like it was 2pm playing music. We got the room so my husband can get a good night sleep. We were up all night scratching. I’m convinced the room had bed bugs. The front desk had the nerve to say no refunds. My dog was barking all night. They didn’t sleep either. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

    .the Jamaican boy at the front counter during 1st shift is rude and disrespectful. When I first checked in the first room I went in had roaches everywhere on the door in the tub....so they put me in a" handicap room" like that way any better then the next week when I went to renew my room the Jamaican boy tries to put me back in the same room with the roaches so packed my things pretty sure roaches are in my belongings too ....and left to the hotel down the street.

    Motel 6 Jacksonville FL. 8285 Phillips Hwy. The payment I made to Expedia could not be confirmed at the hotel. They told me to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia. I spoke with Michael, at Expedia. Michael stated it was a problem with my Navy Federal Visa. He gave me a Expedia Case number: 951525 Michael at Expedia said I should contact Navy Fed., which I did. NFCU Visa rep (Tamara) said my NFCU VISA is okay. I can see Expedia posted the transaction for: $84.83 Again, Motel 6 would not let me stay at the hotel because the hotel manager (John - ph.#904-448-0021) could not complete the credit card process with Expedia. John even tried to manually change the amount. My Expedia Confirmation Number is: 2393913149 Expedia Itinerary Number is: 72071145378315 I can see the Expedia charge pending on my NFCU VISA account.     First of all roaches everywhere. Second of all I'm handicapped. This hotel said that there was an elevator that didn't exist stuck on the third floor And having somebody bang on my door at 11:00 every single day. One time having one of the maintenance guys bow up on me like he was going to start. Trying to fight me telling me you need to pay now or get out I had already paid there were a couple nice ladies at the desk is the only thing that can be said for this place. There wasn't even a trash can in the room. The microwave was covered with rust and all kinds of nastiness I wore house slippers inside and they became coated with disgusting Black stuff at the point where I had to throw them out the bed was broken and now my back is messed up because of it The door didn't even close all the way you could see outside when it was blocked because it was bent like somebody had kicked it in a bunch of times as much as I was harassed about paying for the day, the amount that I paid should have been way lower

    The atomsphere of the place is unlike anything I have ever dealt with. You have random people knocking at your door trying to push your door. One guy followed my wife and kids around the hotel in his car trying to see what room they were in. The rooms are super small to be a studio 6. Cable didn't work. Room was non smoking but smelled as if someone smoked 30 packs a day. The battery on the lock died so a crow bar and screwdriver was used to open the door. Kids and adults running around the floors until late hours. Management seems ok but they don't tell you the hotel isn't family friendly.

    My stay had been great the staff is awesome. I bought my own cleaning supplies abd cleaned both rooms i occupied while there. The elevator being broke sucks and the rooms definitely need some maintaince and ac units could use some much needed tlc. Other than that it was comfortable. Being in 3rd floor with a broke elevator and alot of belongings sucks but i got my excersize in for sure.

    I don't even know that you could call this place a motel. It should not be listed on hotels.com for sure! This place was awful! Worse than a third world country motel! When we arrived, they informed me that they didn't have the room I had booked for. I asked for them to refund me and they said they could not do that. So, we took whatever room they had available. It was awful! There was no toilet paper, no towels, no hot water, the floor was coming apart. There was commotion all night long. Room was absolutely disgusting. We checked in and then left to get some food, when we got into the room and saw the state of the room, there was no choice but to just attempt to get a few hours sleep. We gave up early morning and went and turned in the keys to the office as soon as they opened. Do NOT recommend!! In fact, after that horrible experience, I will never stop in Jacksonville again!

Angry at this point. Wanted to go somewhere else. She assures me she would give me a good room this time.     The customer representative was friendly and available however there was problems with the vending machine so you have to go to the store down street. There were also no microwave or refrigerator in the studio rooms. This place is in need of exterminator as I killed roaches and had to put my bags in car due to fear of them getting into my things. I am unsure if they are currently renovating but it is needed. The room was a lower price then average and I reckon you get what you pay for.

    The customer service/ front desk staff were polite and apologetic. The room I booked was supposed to have a king size bed, but we ended up in a room with a double bed. The bed had two half size pillows, no blanket and was hard as a brick. There was no table and chairs in the room as advertised. The room liked nothing like the room advertised. The roaches crawling up the wall kept all of clothing in the truck of the car. The smell of the room only got worse due to smell of weed being smoked in the breezeway. They should pay you to stay here.

    The showers were filthy . The store range looked as if it had never been cleaned since the first day of installation. My pink sock were jet black within the first 10 minutes of taking off my shoes. There were roaches crawling on the walls.     When I checked in the cleaning lady let the mgr know that my room was clean and ready for check in. Upon going in to the room I saw roaches crawling on the walls and there were several dead ones on the floors. The towels had human hair on them despite being clean. The floors of the room and bathroom had a layer of hair and black filth on them that let me know they don’t mop the floors. The sink was old but worked. The two burner stove had a layer of black filth from never having been cleaned so I didn’t use it. The microwave was dirty but I used it a couple of times. The fridge wasn’t too bad to store my food. People have to go in daily in the afternoon to be given clean bedding/towels & turn in their own dirty items to a basket in the lobby. They only give people one roll of toilet paper and one day they ran out according to the mgr & needed to purchase more!! I asked the mgr to have someone spray for roaches and he wrote down my room number along with other rooms. After a day I went back to ask about them spraying and a lady told me they only come on Thursdays. Thursday came and went and no one sprayed. I asked when the cleaning lady comes and the lady at the front desk said after 330pm yet no one ever cleaned the room or floors. I asked the cleaning lady about cleaning and she stated they don’t clean the rooms until people check out. So if someone is there for weeks or longer what do they do?!? motel had the police there daily for drugs etc. I reported to the health dept.

    THERE IS NO ONE HERE!!! I can’t check in till 11pm! I have a photo of the sign they’ve put up - the Laminated sign they clearly reuse. It says no one will be here from 7-11pm. Sorry for the inconvenience. Security can help with key cards but not new check-ins…It was 7.20pm - I was supposed to wait for 3.5hrs to check in to my room at 11pm??? Someone staying three already came by & told the group of me & other guests that yes in fact we cannot check in till 11pm & yes this is the norm here. That is insane!!! I initiated a chargeback with my bank. The studio 6 extended stay less than ½ mile away had two employees sitting behind their counter. Don’t want to hear how they can’t find employees.

    The hotel called me at 3:30pm the day of check in and was told if I arrived between 7pm-11pm I could NOT check in. We were already half way there by the time we received the call.     Easily the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Welcome to Duval. Bed was covered with dead bugs, multiple live and dead roaches throughout. Wood rot, stains everywhere, place is in a state of decay. I had to book for an emergency. The office also closes from 7pm to 11pm so you can't check in. Bloody gross. Sleeping in a tent would be better. Sleeping behind a dumpster would be comparable. Expect the worst.

    The room was not cleaned properly. There was garbage on the floor and the bathroom shower stall needs a good scub down. The shower curtain should be washed or thrown out and replaced. The constant drip in shower needs fixed. There were broken pieces of the kitchen wood left under the cabinet. The fridge had been covered with stickers and only partially removed. The guy working the front desk was super nice when we checked in and helpful when we asked questions about the area. It was Daytona 500 weekend and all the hotels were booked. We got the last room here so we dealt with it for 2 nights otherwise we would have left. It was the worst place I've ever stayed. There was no blanket when we got there just 2 sheets ant the smokey room was so thick my husband had to put a towel over his pillow just to try to sleep on it.

    This place had roaches that we were killing. I even had to borrow stuff from my parents. The microwave was horrible it look like it caught on fire. In the bathroom ceiling in the tub/shower had huge mold going on. The few things that were good was the beds we’re comfortable and the shower pressure and the hot water for the shower was good. I did call a few days before we were supposed to go and asked if it was on the first floor and the person said no but when I went to the website to say I needed a bottom floor if possible because my son is in a wheelchair so when we got there they did move it to the first floor.

    Nice Size Tv , Full Fridge , Glass Stove Top , Clean Bed But They Only Give Sheets No Blanket. Walls Had Holes , Writing , Stains , Ac Unit Old And Vent Lid Was Missing , Shower Curtains Mildew Stained , Mirror Was Detached From Dresser And Almost Fell. Moral Of The Story Pics Don’t Match The Reality. It’s Non Refundable That’s The ONLY Reason I Stayed.

    I’m from Jacksonville and I really didn’t think that this place was going to be to bad and the area isnt that bad so I though I would try it out but…..yea I though wrong, check in went smoothly and the first thing I noticed was the smell in the room, I went back down and requested and different room and that one was even worse, I went back again and requested a 3rd room and it was the best out of the 3 so I stayed in that one, when I say the best I still me the best, the room had a weird mold smell and I found a roach on the ground, and the sink was disgusting, luckily I was only staying 2 nights and only for sleep, it was extremely loud and you could hear everyone in the other rooms and all the doors close, sunday came around and we were packing up to leave and we hear a fight happen down stairs, we peek out and someone ended out getting robbed in their own room, my boyfriend went down to check and there was blood on the door, while he called 911 I went to the office to let them know and there was a guy covered in blood in the office! We stayed to help him and the police needed us to stay for our statements, and the hotel proceeded to blow up my cell phone to check out of the room even though the police told them we couldn’t leave, we had to be there for 3 xtra hours and the entire time they were nagging for us to leave! I don’t recommend it here, you don’t know what your going to get fought up in! Tricove inn and suites is were you should go!

    The hotel is a bit worn by individuals & families who are living long-term at the motel. The rooms was a good size & comfortable. The location is convenient to restaurants, shopping & the city bus. The staff are amazingly friendly & helpful. Always made my day when returned from work. So glad we found it for my stay until my new place was ready for me to move in.

    The front desk staff was amazing. The room checked into had a foul odor, many roaches and the water was not working. The staff made a quick move to another room that was much better. After that the stay was good and it was extended an extra two weeks.

    The hotel room looks NOTHING like the pictures!! Most of the people staying there lived there and had dogs, big loud smelly dogs. The only thing nice about the hotel was the guy Shon that checked us in. Who ever cleaned the room sprayed cleaning product but just left it there. The room wasn't worth the $100 we paid. Disgusting!!!! Our socks stuck to the floor it was so dirty. I asked for 2 extra pillows because there were only 2 on the bed but he could only give me 1. Usually there's 2 per person on the bed, only 1 face cloth and 1 bar of soap, no shampoo or anything else. Don't waste your money.

    Our room received us with a under the kitchen sink empty beer bottles, the bathroom light did not work and the front desk told us that we only have 15 minutes after check in if anything was wrong with the room and hung up the phone! You need to drop this hotel from you menu.

    The office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. The rooms have holes in the walls, roaches and horrible beds!!! I’m not sure how this franchisee can brand under Studio 6/Motel 6 and not uphold the corporate standards. Huge difference between this one and the corporate owned one 3 miles down the road. I would not return

    We had to climb up to 3rd floor, and the TV was on a wall not easy to watch from bed. But the beds were comfortable, and room had a table & chair. Needs re-modeling, but is OK

    I demand a full return. Ms. Star the worker at the hotel said she initiated a return that Expedia would have to request. First off the pictures look absolutely nothing like the room. And even requesting a non smoking room you still can’t breathe. We walked in and immediately out and had to purchase another room from the Marriott. This experience was so terrible that if I don’t get my return I will never use Expedia again

    The pictures must be from when they first opened the location bc the rooms are much more worn down now. No doors on cabinets as pictured. 2 choices when showering..freezing cold with zero pressure or boiling hot with too much pressure. Gap in door to room that you could easily see outside, or in. When it rained the tracks on the windows filled with water and started pouring into the room onto one of the beds. It dont look like they ever actually clean anything. The curtains were filthy and not all the way hanging. Their is mildew all the way around the tub that has rust spots all over. The bathroom door would try to come apart every time you tried to open it, and if you were there alone you coukdnt get out without someone holding the door together while you opened it. Their were ants all over!!! I couldnt sit a drink down bc of it. When we first arrived, i was checking our beds and found a pill, small drug baggie, and burnt brillo which proves tey dont clean good, so not covid friendly. Then when we had to stay a couple more nights, my mom sent me the cash. Because she was having a hard time sending the money, I was late paying my room for the last night we were there. The General Manager, Rob, came out and started yelling at me in the courtyard, loudly and was told " I dont know what hotel you came from but this is not how i run my hotel, and if I was 1 second late the next day he wanted to only see me leaving with my luggage. Dont stay here. Not worth one penny!

    This place is disgusting, there was blood or feces smeared on the door, cigarette burns in the blanket, shower dripped and floor constantly wet, refrigerator did not keep food fresh, shower cut off completely while i was showering, another guests dog ran out their front door and charged my service dog while the owner screamed and we walked on the sidewalk, 1 trashcan and bag supplied for 3 days, can’t get clean linen or towels until after 6pm, charged fee for support animal, no carts for luggage, I bleach cleaned the entire room and the smell became worse, a/c runs all day and stays hot, no cable, unknown guests calling my room saying sexually explicit things they wanted to do to me and manager stated there was no way to locate which room was calling my room.

    Bugs in room, sheets had burn Mark’s and was dirty. I did not stay and asked for refund but clerk could not give it because I got room from Expedia. I called Expedia twice and was on line for 1 hour with no answer. I want a refund!!!!

    Please do not stay here! There is an on sight JSO officer who is security beginning at 9pm. Gale is rude and disrespectful. She made it known if it gets to loud to let her know as there’s a curfew. The beds sheets have stains and the door locks appear to have been pried open. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get one because it was non refundable by hotel. I refused to stay due to so many men roaming around the area. The rooms smelled musty. This is an unsafe environment for anyone to stay in. Jax provided additional funding for places offering assistance to homeless and after speaking with Studio 6 corporate office I’m certain they are not aware of this. This hotel is very run down and I was informed by Gale they have been BOOKED for months even during a pandemic. I’m absolutely upset hotels.com has not disclosed this is a transient halfway house for Pathways to Home. There’s a sign on the door to indicate so.

    This hotel should be closed especially when it’s COVID-19 going on. The room was very dirty roaches crawling around. The sheets and pillow was very dirty looked like blood stains all over pillows. Bathroom looked like it haven’t been cleaned in years. This is hotel is failing all regulations. I don’t wish my worst enemy to stay at this hotel. The state needs to close this hotel.

    I clean my room, use my own linens, towels, soap, tissue. I just wish as long as I have resided here. They keep up with paid in advance room tjru Hotel.com. I work 9:30 pm until 10 am. Pleade stop kmovking and acting unprofessional because you are not aware ofe paying or paid already. I dont bother you, or your staff so stop sending yourvstaff question pay. I have been here almost a momth. Never been late and don't owe you nothimg, so LET ME REST PLEASE. I always pay gor what I want, and put into this Country what I want out of it. Thank You!

    I have the suite cleaned to my standards. On site Laundry room is awesome, each work to perfection, wash, rinse & spin cycles actually work. Dryers awesome. Drink machines all perform well. Safe, very quiet. Well secured ane well lighted parking and access. Staff knows that I am very clean and love bleach befire the covid. Bleach is my DNA. A real cleaning fanatic. All business eat, shower, rest well for employment purposes. Kitchettes all perform znd really needed. I love to cook and eat vegetables, soup & Stews. Oxtails rice/peas, my own pots and pans.

    I take sanitation very serious before the Pandemic Covid 19. I Love to clean and I mean love to clean so I will get a hole in the wall to my Standards. I must commend them on being the only Hotel/Motel that actually CLEAN THE AC FILTERS. This was a first. I pull out to clean. It was clean. That made of my mind. Outside No Loitering people hanging around. Very peaceful, safe, well lighted. No file odors. And did I mention. Everything worked Except The Room Ph. Not needed anyway. I always use my linen/Towels, bath accessories. Nice refrig, microwave,and mini stove top. Awesome!. Im afraid to tell you of the even greater things about this property in threat of attracting bad people and demonic vibes because of its economy prices. I can do this property all day everyday. Thanks Studio 6!
