    This hotels has been one of the worst places I have stayed. I booked there because of the location and the price was convenient to book 3 rooms, but I did know it will be this bad. People smoking outside the hotel, place was not clean inside nor outside. The rooms smelled so bad and sheets were deteriorated, the floor was not clean, the bathrooms were clean properly even the toilets were stained. Just horrible and disgusting.

    The hotel has a strange smell to it. One of our bath towels had dried blood on it. The bath floor mat was either dirty or severely stained. The keys stopped working after one use and had to be replaced. Will definitely not stay here again.

    Access to interstate was good. Bed and pillows were good. Had very hot water. Other than that it is just a hotel. I was not notified I was entitled to breakfast. Nothing in my announcements nor from onsite staff. Paid $3.65 for a soda which was excessive.

    Hotel was clean and easy to find. The deadbolt on my door was broken and would not engage. If I had been staying for more than one night, I would have asked to move rooms, but I had been driving for a long time and just wanted to go to bed. My toilet ran all night even though I jiggled the handle to see if it would stop. I guess I expected better upkeep from a Wyndham.

    The staff was wonderful. In particular the lady at the front desk The toilet in the first room wouldn't flush so I had to be moved. The carpets need to be replaced desperately in hallways. The rooms need some really deep cleaning in the corners and things like that. I realize the building's old but the cleaning staff should really dig in.

    The staff are absolutely the best. We received some really good customer service. As soon as they learned we had an issue with our room toilet, they made every attempt to switch us out right away. Thry were amazing and treated us well.

    The check-in was rude. I showed up 10 min before check-in and was informed that she normally would charge me $30 for early check-in, but this time she would let it slide. Then proceeded to lecture me the whole check-in about how hotels only do check-ins between 3-4pm. I finally replied that was why I was there only 10 min early. Then got to room and it smelled like "fart", I assume mildew. Then door kept opening back up & the lock did not work. The a/c worked very well but didn't elementare the smell. Bathroom door kept sticking shut and I had throw body weight against it to get it open or closed. So either of us using the restroom at night woke the other person. It did seem mostly clean but most the metal in the bathroom was all rusting. The desk chair leans to the right and could not be used. I appreciated the digital checkout but will never be back.

    Staff super nice and helpful The room seem to be moist. The floors, the top of the cabinets, the counters, and the top of the blankets. I don't know why there is a moisture issue in the room. We had the air condition at 73°. I'm not sure why there was la humidity issue. I did tell the front desk. Housekeeping was supposed to come up before we left. They did not make it. I don't hold it against them, because it was check out time and I'm sure they had a lot of rooms to clean. Hoping they fix the situation.

    Wyndham Gardens has become my go to Jacksonville hotel for short trips and I have enjoyed the hotel. This location has been perfect for our 1-2 nights stays for concerts and shows. Only a 15 minute drive to the stadium and plenty of restaurants and attractions. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, hotel including the lobby, hallways and room are clean and comfortable. There's no complimentary breakfast but there is a restaurant attached (prices are a bit steep) and places to eat close by, for longer stays that may be a draw back but for the 1-2 nights stays I do it has been fine.

    Staff was extremely nice night shift and day shift.... they only cleaned rooms every days and we were there Friday to Monday but we just set our dirty towels and trash outside everyday and asked from clean ones from the front desk and it was never an issue....pool stayed open until 10pm which was a plus for the kids....Dave and Busters was literally walking distance.....the indoor, outdoor malls and the beach literally 20 minutes or less!!! Ive stayed here at least 6 times and will continue The only thing I didnt like was the ice was only located on the 4th and 5th floors....we were on the 3rd so had to go up a floor just for ice and we had a cooler that had to be filled daily...beach, pool, etc.... on the other hand ir could be fine not hearing the noise from the ice machine on our floor!!!

    Spoke with front desk about the room being dusty, floor was dirty (cleaned it with a baby wipe and it was black!) Also told them the refrigerator didn't work! Was told they would send maintenance and no one came! The next morning told them again about the non cleanliness of the room their reply was we are short on house keepers from 30 down to 15 but she also stated that wasn't an excuse. Never offered to be moved or anything. Was asked if we needed clean towels and that maintenance would be around today (Saturday) got neither! Clean towels or maintenance. ONLY STAYED BC FAMILY WAS IN THE SAME HOTEL ON DIFFERENT FLOORS AND IT BOOKED THRU A BOOKING APP. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD HAVE CANCELED THE SECOND NIGHT TO TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ROOM

    Room was clean and comfortable. Good towels also. There is no coffee or water in the lobby. The water is in the gym area. No complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby area I found to be unusual. I prefer the lobby coffee to the small coffee makers in the room. Instead I needed my morning coffee and not available.

    I only stayed for a quick overnight, but the staff was very friendly and kind, and my room was clean and comfortable. Some stuff in the building is a little old, but the maintenance team is clearly working hard to keep everything running well. It's not clearly marked, but there is parking behind the building, so you're not stuck if you don't see any available spots out front!

    This is a regular hotel nothing very outstanding to brag about, just normal. I didn't like how they didn't have a complementary breakfast; instead they wanted you to pay for it at the attached restaurant. Location is off the beaten path unless you have a reason to be near businesses. At least the bed was comfortable.

    It’s proximity to the venue I needed It wasn’t a walking distance from eating choices, you had to drive across the highway for food choices. The restaurant next to the hotel had limited hours and choices and seating and wasn’t connected with the hotel at all so we couldn’t charge our meal to the room.

    The privacy deadbolt didn’t work. The toilet never stopped running and had a rust stain down the back. A $25 fee is charged for a pet. I’m not sure what that goes toward. There is no refrigerator. Ice machine is not on the main floor.

    One of my worst stays ever in a hotel.. The phone, microwave and the water pressure was not working correctly at all..     I’ll never stay again at this property. This property was loud. It had smokers who didn’t mind smoking cigarettes and weed all through the third floor. The check-in at check-in front desk agent made this loud announcement to everybody in the lobby so she wouldn’t have to repeat herself. it was just felt like we were being herded into the lobby. Didn’t appreciate that then on top of that my door didn’t close. There was a whole security issue behind me having a room that had a functioning door so I will never stay at this property again I didn’t even stay in my full duration. I left the night that I checked in so I just took a loss of 100 bucks for the night because there was no way that me and my daughter was sleeping in a room that didn’t have a door that properly worked. it was ghetto and if that’s your vibe, then have added it, but definitely not for somebody who understands and appreciates clean rooms that don’t smell like smoke or see sheds of dog here everywhere if they are property that accepts pets, I was looking and hoping for a property that didn’t have rust all on their doors. Rust on the showerhead lime filled showerhead nozzles. I didn’t wanna even take a shower in there. It was so gross. I just left and went back home because I only drove three hours. I was going to go see the beach butit was overall 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

    We stayed 4 nights. Initially the room appeared decently clean but then we discovered a cockroach running on the main table. We were given another room. The bathroom sink would hardly drain. Shower water pressure was poor. AC worked well. Microwave didn’t work so they came up and replaced it. Fridge worked fine. It was just enough to stay for few nights.

    This was a business trip. The hotel is subpar but the ladies at the front desk were wonderful. Per hotel policy No flexibility for late check out under any circumstances and a fee for early check in was applied when the room became available @ 2:15pm The hotel prefers you hangout in their lobby for hours instead of checking you in. I will not stay there again. In all my years of business travel this is the first time I’ve encountered this.

    The room was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was quite small, but we made it work. The only thing I wish they had was coffee in the morning at least complementary coffee. The pool area was filthy over by the towels. We sat in the shade and cigarette butts are all over hasn’t been swept in a long time plus no umbrellas at tables.

    Its s very nice hotel. Staff were all exceptional. Pool is great. Extremely busy yet wiman at the desk was excellent shekeot everybody moving and happy. She deserves ⁰a big pat on the back and an extra day off with pay. Most people would haved cracked under that much pressure. I admire her work ethic and determination to keep everything under control.These days you rarely see dedicated workers.

    Awful experience!!!! The first night I heard people moaning all night long, the rooms doesn’t have any acoustic protection and you can literally hear everything ppl are talking or doing on the rooms around you. The last night after very unhappy about not getting a decent sleep time (what I pay exclusively to do, barely and at least), people on the room next to mine were doing drugs and being very loud and clear about it. I complained to the front desk lady who was absolutely RUDE about my question if I could change rooms. She said they were sold out and I had to handle it, I hope she get to read this and to know she is a awful employee, she should be ashamed. Luckily the security guard came up with me and talked to the drug partying people. I’ll never come back to this or any Wyndham Garden in my life. You guys sucks!

    I was not pleased with my stay, I told the front desk personnel that the lights weren't working in the bathroom and I was told "that's how all the rooms are". The ice machine only worked on two floors and my floor was not one of those floors. The shower head has a lot of build up, looks as if it hasn't been cleaned thoroughly.     Toilet ran constantly, the microwave had dried food all in it, the TV did not work properly; kept losing the signal or the screen would freeze. Room could have been cleaner as well.     The staff was courteous. Check-in and out seamless. There were no hidden fees. The room was clean and quiet. My family and I had to stay in FL for four days to avoid bad weather at home so we could get to our cruise on time, and this hotel was affordable and comfortable. It was also close to so many stores, restaurants and a Dave & Buster’s. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

    I checked into the hotel a little late and they canceled my reservation. When I showed up to check in the lady could not find my reservation she actually put it on another date and messed up my whole reservation and pushed my trip two days forward. Also I had no hot water in my room I took a shower the first night thinking hot water was used by everyone else in the hotel so I waited for 3 days I had to go to planet fitness in order to shower and get ready I requested someone to fix it and they tried three times and did not fix it also my toilet was running. And I had a lamp in the corner of the room fall on me as it was not attached to the base. This is one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced in my lifetime. The hallways smelled of pot mold mildew vomits and pigs dies. Getting off the elevator to go to my room was nauseating. Reviews will not be good as I never really had a room at the Wyndham I had a room at planet fitnesshallways smelled so bad... Like mold mildew pot

    Stay was on 12/29, 12/30 and 12/31 for Medical reasons . I told Service Representative that I’m a heart transplant patient and yo ensure my sheets and room cleaned daily. She said that I will be accommodated. I had an appointment on 12/29 st Mayo Hospital. I got back to hotel room and the beds hadn’t been changed snd bathroom hadn’t been clean. I reported it to the representative and she mentioned a lot of checkouts were done and they didn’t have time. It was after 8 pm when they cleaned my room. When my sister took a shower she discovered a bad link from short head. Maintenance came told us it was fixed . But we discovered it wasn’t due to my friend taking her shower. I sent my girlfriend to speak with the hotel representative regarding the issue. She returned snd said the representative said in addition to my $50 being refunded I will receive a refund for 1 day stay due to the issues we experienced. It’s been over 10 business days and I have yet to receive my refunds.

    The bed was horrible. It had a big sagging hole in the middle where some very large people must have slept. The bathroom light didn’t work and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. The shower handle to turn on the water was extremely hard to turn. The air conditioning unit needs maintenance due to the God awful squealing going on inside of it.

    Check-In was poor. Although I checked in online and arrived to the hotel around 6:00 pm we received very unpleasant customer service and the front desk person was unfocused not listening to my name just immediately asking for my credit card and not even a welcome or pleasant greeting. When I told her that just received a last minute change to my appointments. She didn't are and told me to contact Expedia for the change. When I did she refused to answer the phone when the Expedia agent was trying to do a 3 way conference call with them. I had a different person when I checked out but we didn't receive amenities or trash picke up linen change at all during our 4 days we finally received clean towel the last night of our stay while they didn't even remove the dirty soiled towels. Absolutely no service to the room. I won't even book at this hotel ever again.

    They did not clean the room. There was a guy in the other room who kept me up all night. I could hear him coughing and everything, plus there's a guy across the room with a dog. I could hear it in the middle of the night. We'll never stay there again.

    The main disappointment was that we didn’t realize that there was no breakfast included like we’re used to at other chains. To make it worse, they don’t even have coffee in the lobby. We were told that there was coffee in the room and it was awful. We couldn’t drink it.

    Nice place. Good location sort of in the mid point between downtown Jacksonville and the Beaches. Decently close to a few parks and food/stores. No breakfast. Front desk was courteous. The grounds were kept up nicely, had all kinds of cool decor for Christmas. There was a security office on guard when we got back late in the evening. Good place for the money.

    The property appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. The flooring in the hallways was warped and coming up, missing trim in multiple places, pieces of flooring missing in rooms, messy paint jobs. dingy smell. Only 1 elevator worked and barely. Just overall felt dirtt. The staff was ok. not rude but not pleasant.

    Room was not up to par as far as cleanness. The bathroom tub look like someone walked in it with shoes when it was wet and it dried up. It only had one lightbulb working in the bathroom. One of the beds, cause I have two queen beds, on the sheet had a feminine period stain. And I found eyelashes on the ground and on the bed.

    The staff here are phenomenal, friendly, and welcoming! They remembered us from staying with them 4 months ago during their busy season. They were wonderful to work with when my mother-in-law was on life support. We needed to extend our stay twice, and they were more than accommodating! This time, they accommodated us once again as my husband decided to stay another night. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable place with top-notch staff.

    Front desk staff are very pleasant and friendly! For the price you pay, you get a very pleasant stay with clean rooms! The only thing is that some things need some renovations such as the base boards near the ice dispenser and the and bathroom a smidge. However, all of that to say, I’ve worked in hospitality and this property was by far up to all of my standards and made my trip an overall success. Huge thanks to the housekeeping and front desk staff!

    No, the room was not spotless. The bed linens and towels were clean. The floors were very dirty. However, I carry Lysol with me when I travel. The floors were very dirty. My 9 year old granddaughter wore socks in the room and her socks would be black after a few hours of playing. I mopped the floors myself because this is pretty typical unless you are staying in a 5 star hotel.

    I’ve worked in property management and hospitality for years, so I understand that isolated issues can happen despite best efforts. I also read the reviews ahead of time and saw enough positive experiences to feel comfortable staying here. Unfortunately, our night took a turn. While relaxing and playing a video game in the room, my girlfriend saw a roach crawl across the dresser/TV stand. When we checked further with a flashlight, we discovered multiple roaches—at least a dozen—clearly coming from the dresser area. At that point, we packed our belongings immediately. My girlfriend went down to report the issue first but was brushed off. When I spoke with the manager, Jason, I was shocked by how dismissive and disrespectful he was. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been in this field for 10 days or 30 years—you do not speak to guests that way. His complete lack of empathy, unwillingness to assist, and refusal to help us relocate despite the fact that this was not our fault was unacceptable. He mentioned they use Massey for pest control, but that means nothing if management is failing to pro

    I became sick the third day from my cigarret alergy as they smoke in the laundry room so the towels and bedding have a residual smoke smell. By the third nite I had to sleep upright in a chair as I couldn't breathe lying down. Hard to tip housekeepers as they don't understand any english.

    Yes, everything was clean and professional, with friendly employees. The only reason I rated a 4 in an area is: I learned that my sleep was interrupted various times due to my room being close to the elevator that beeped each time anyone went up on down on it the 1st night, and folks used the ice machine which made a loud noise during the night and early in the morning. Other than that, everything was fine. You couldn't have helped that, but in the future I'll get a room further from the dinging elevator and the ice machine.

    Great place to stay. Only negative was the desk clerk closing out her cash drawer and counting every dime and telling me I came in the middle of shift change and would have to wait. I had been driving over 7 hours and was amazed that her counting change was more important than checking me in which I had already done the pre check in.

    I made the reservation via Hotels.com, which said the hotel was pet friendly. When I arrived and said I had a pet, they said the policy is dogs less than 25 pounds. Well, my dog is three times that! This was not mentioned online when I made the reservation. But the staff allowed is to stay and we were very well behaved. (Much better than the 10-pound dog down the hall which barked a lot!) The bed was super comfy! I’d love to know what bedding/mattress the hotel uses. Very nice! The shower was a bit touchy. Not much temperature range.

    In the middle of the night, we tried to switch rooms or even leave for another hotel, but everything nearby was sold out. We had no choice but to push through the night in conditions no guest should ever experience. While the front desk staff at checkout were respectful and accommodating, that does not excuse the fact that this room should never have been booked. Management needs to address these issues immediately and consider issuing refunds to guests who have had to endure this, which we had to go through. Selling a room in this state is unacceptable.

    I have stayed here the last few times I have come to Jax. It has been a pleasure to stay I have family and friends I can stay with but it is relaxing the rooms have been clean and comfortable; staff very nice. I even added a night. Has night security which is nice because I come in usually anywhere between two and four in the morning usually pretty quiet cause I sleep during the day and I love the location, no matter where I’ve had to go. It’s easy to get to the interstate or wherever I need to go and the prices are reasonable. Wish there was a few more handicap parking spots so that when I come in at 34 in the morning, I always have to end up parking in the very back in the back of the parking lot but then again that’s my fault for coming back so late.

    Was a cheap and convenient place for a family overnight stay to just get from A to B. We got what we needed from the space and for the price, it was worth it. Everything that we needed in the room— a little fridge, microwave, blackening shades— the hotel also has a fitness center, pool and restaurant. The hotel was busy, lots of traffic. I just didn’t look at anything too closely while we were there otherwise my germaphobia would’ve kicked in immediately

    The hotel’s location is great. When we entered, it was clean and smelled wonderful. The lobby was nice, although there were stains on the couch. Once we got to the floor, the room’s smell quickly changed. We were hit with an awful smell and went into the room. It smelled like mildew. There was mold behind the door. The bathroom was small and dirty, and it didn’t feel comfortable to shower in. There was buildup of dirt in the corner of the door. There was also a small bug crawling on the bed. People were walking the floors and making loud noises until 3 AM.

    I booked a deluxe room and i was given a very small room. No room for bags and nowhere to put the baby stroller.     Friendly staff, easy checkin but they will only provide room service if you ask. Was at the pool with a weird cloud-no noise or rain and they shut us down-it was 2:30 pm. Weird restaurant experience at red grill. Pizza was so hard it could have built a house. Otherwise I would stay here again.

    This is agood hotel, clean and has good location . My only complain tis he mattress are really hard and the pillows are small and extrange. The rest is ok . For the price it is worth it

    I’ve stayed at this hotel because the housekeeping is excellent. They are very respectful, and the rooms are consistently clean. If I encounter any problems, they address them promptly. Overall, this place is certainly a great option for accommodation while visiting Jacksonville.

    Unfortunately We could not sleep, bed was not in a good condition and has very loud squeaky sound with any movement. Also it is a non-Smokey hotel but it had an awful smell of marijuana.

    We had an excellent time at the Hotel. Me and my family stayed a week and had very friendly service with front desk. Every day they cleaned our rooms, made our beds and refilled our towels without asking. I am 100% pleased with my overall experience. My Grandson had a Great time at the pool where they had towels by pool. Also had a Restaurant and Bar in the hotel. The food was excellent. Overall experience was Excellent will stay here again.

    Arrived at wouldn't let us check in and there was hardly anybody there at hotel we explained we had to be a conference at 4 and wanted to clean up before. Room was dirty phone was static roaches on floor and wall. Remote was broken. No where ti hang towels in bathroom
