Motel 6 Klamath Falls, OR

Room did not have either a refrigerator or microwave. Not a big problem for me as I was only staying one night. However, if you are planning a longer stay, check with desk manager if your room will have these two items.

Very convenient location, great parking, right next-door to big Bear diner made for an easy breakfast and dinner selection.

You ask about amenities. There aren't any in the room. No coffee, no blow dryer, small bath towels. This is as basic as it gets, and the price is too high for that.

It was fine for a motel 6. Super friendly guy checked me in.

Clean Room, Helpful Staff, has Laundry at the Receptionist Area and a lot of Parking Space.

I had two more days booked, I need the 3 days money back. The employees knew about it, called the company executive office, Note Above, filing Better Business Complaint if I do not get my 3 days reimbursed by tomorrow, June 3, 2026

All the staff were terrific! They all get five stars from me! Keep up the good work. I enjoyed my stay there greatly.

Great stay

Their stairs need to be fixed. When you walked up or down, rattled. The showers were not the best.....we refused to use them but your service representative was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were supposed to adjoining but we ended up with two rooms next to each other instead.

The staff was great The office people and the cleaning staff were super nice to me and my dog.

When I arrived there was another couple in the office waiting for staff, I saw a sign that said will return in 5 minutes, I asked how long they had waited? She said about 10 minutes, about 5 minutes later employee came in. I asked if it was safe, was told the owner installed super bright lighting around the property yo make it like daylight, it ended up being lighter than described. The cleaning of the unit was poor. One of the two beds in the room was placed up against the AC unit making it unsafe/unuseable. Very adequate parking, nice restaurant next door and great location

They was very helpful even though I was late getting in I called them to tell him I was late and they was very accommodating and very helpful when I got there

Room smelled like smoke. A/C-Heater didn’t work. Someone ran into my truck 15 minutes after I arrived and they told me there were no cameras on the parking lots which seems like an important place to have them. People playing loud music and smoking weed right outside my room until about 2:00am.

Lots of people on drugs. The room was smelly. I decided to just drive the 8 hours home instead of stay the night. Being a single female I honestly just didn't feel safe.

We only stopped to sleep on our trip but the room was so rundown couldn’t park in view of room trucks driving through with empty trailers scoping out parking lot groups of men standing around we slept in our clothes and parked in front of office doors We also had trouble unlocking door because it looked damaged from prying open !!! Do not recommend this one better to sleep in your vehicle Sorry !

Sal is a fantastic Manager! He went over and above to accommodate us. Our fridge wasn't working, he compensated us. We were able to park right outside our room. The housekeeper is what put my ratings lower. Our room wasn't as clean as it should be. We checked out and then needed an extra night. We checked in later that day and there were still crumbs on the table from our first stay and the rug by the door wasnt vacuumed. This is not a reflection on the hotel overall, just some staff don't have as much pride in their jobs. Check in staff very friendly and price is right for a no frills motel.

Upstairs

The room had not had a deep cleaning for a while. You could see handprints on many of the walls and piles of dirt, hair and other debris in every corner of the rooms. There was about a 1" gap under the door to the room that allowed noise and light.

The room appeared clean at first glance but once getting settled in we could see dirt and hair around the edges and here and there throughout. Would not consider it filthy, but was not impressed with what they considered clean.

First off I want to say that the front desk agent was amazing and super friendly and helpful, however the reviews are inaccurate and I would not suggest staying here even for the price. The first room smelt terribly like dog urine and after being moved to our second room, this room smelled like cigarettes and not clean at all. Old dirty boots were left, the sheets were dirty, there was feces all over the toilet bowl and hair in the sink. The front desk agent graciously offered to rectify the situation and upgraded us to another room that was fairly cleaner and smelt way better. The beds were uncomfortable and the neighbors upstairs were awake all night, both nights doing some activities that not everyone would like to hear all night long. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clearly no quiet time hours at this motel. We had the loudest people next to us. Dog barking, a child dragging a suitcase around, doors slamming and this was all after 11pm

It was affordable and allowed me to have my cats in the room. You could tell most of their customers were working out of town and staying weekly. Better than the other motels that have cheap rooms that attract inconsiderate, loud and shady customers. Everyone at that place was respectful and quiet. I also liked that they had cameras everywhere as I had a truck and car trailer loaded with my belongings. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is well located, we were able to walk to a nice restaurant. It is also well lit and parking was plentiful. With ice and snakes available at the desk. The staff was helpful and have a good attitude. The room was clean but needs a renovation.

Friendly staff, that being said my room was filthy, shower sprayed everywhere but in the shower itself. Tv had a huge crack across the screen. Floor was so dirty there was buildup under the bed including an old sock. Will not be returning.

We were a bit worried when checking in included a police patrol car.....just a traffic stop. A bit of traffic noise, but after 7, it did quiet down.

Rooms had muck on the walls, weren't swept, overall dirty for the price point. Despite being described as a non-smoking room, our room had a bag covering the smoke detector and reeked of smoke. Employee denied the scent but eventually did allow a transfer to another room. Second room didn't have the smoke issue but was still overall dirty.

Unsafe with pot smell everywhere

Each night was noisy with car alarms, guests dogs barking and small groups of people talking/ arguing in the parking lot throughout the night. Felt like we stumbled upon the Mexican drug cartels hideout. We were constantly stared down, watched and even followed as if they were trying to figure out if we were ICE. Positive note, Black Bear Diner is next door, great place to eat.

Would not check my 93 year oldmother check in with out cirrent ID. Not cool!

However, for a motel, the room was a very far walk from the car carrying stuff. The room smelled smokey and the table had crumbs all over it. The motel is apparently serving as housing for some immigrants or workers, so there were people hanging out in various spots outside and stuff outside the rooms. Some other customers were pretty low rent - heard yelling and cursing when they opened their doors. This motel is quite a ways from 97, too. It was not the worst I've stayed in by any means but I'll avoid it in future.

Hotel was very clean and updated

I recently made a reservation for a non-smoking room with a refrigerator and microwave. However, when I arrived, I was informed that my reserved room was not available. Instead, the only option was a smoking room that smell bad, which I had to accept because no other rooms were available.

Had nothing but problems with the staff

Everything was fine except for the toilet!! It was the size built for a kindergartener! I messed up my knees and right shoulder trying to get up off of it.

We tried to check in early because of our long journey and were told no rooms were cleaned yet (at 1:30pm) and when we came back at three pm. We were told there were no rooms available and to come back in an hour and a half.

No towels--arrived 2130 hoping for shower, but no towels. took 30+minutes with very unhelpful staff to get replacements. Noisy neighborhood, terrible stay.

Zak the clerk when we checked in was excellent. But when we got to room we found black hairs on the sheets and blankets and no toilet paper. Zak brought new sheets and towels and remade the bed he was embarrassed but apologetic. when we wiped up floor from spilled water with the a towel, the towel was black with dirt and sticky. The entire floor was sticky. We found pink nail clipping on floor. The bathroom door had black finger prints. The wall under sink very dirty. The bed springs poked and creaked all night. We were room 108. Even though the room was not cleaned, but we appreciate that the outdoor lighting was nice and bright. Also, the front desk person Zak was great.

Immediately upon walking into the room, the floors were dirty. The room had an odor to it, as if it had been smoked in heavily. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The staff was very nice and very courteous. I didn't mention the floors.I was too tired, just wanted to get some sleep. I did get a good night's rest.

It was great to have to call 911, and then have the sheriff with their weapons drawn right outside our window arresting people for fighting and waving g*ns around. All the while the room was filthy, mold growing all over the AC unit, dirty walls, and minimal cleaning done.

Beautiful inside, King Room was spacious and clean, bathroom & bathtub clean, bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly and courteous. We felt safe here. I will stay here again if in the area.

I did like how the property was in walking distance of a lot of shops. Didn’t like the shower. To short for a tall man who’s 6’5. The tub did not drain cause the pressure from the shower was too high. Rusty hinges, if those are rusty imagine what else is questionable.

Typical m6 room. We had a fridge. We stayed 2 nights. Toured the lava beds. The property it old of course. There is a pool. Didn't have time to use it. Next door the a diner. We didnt eat there. Across the street was a pizza parlor. We ate there twice. Not much to tell. Its a motel 6. We werent expecting super luxury. We felt safe.

The checkin counter staff was arrogant and didn’t seem to know what he was doing. It took forever to finish the check in process of guests, We had to wait a long time. Lee was also rude to guests. There is no restroom for checkin guests. Staff did not accommodate disability compliant ground floor rooms.

People above us had there kids jumping up and down. We called and complained and they never stopped. Then the next morning at 6am they started back up. We lost sleep that night. The bathroom was not cleaned very well as when we went in to use the toilet it still had feces in the toilet seat. Utterly disgusting. Will not stay here again.

I had to stay due to renovations on my house. I’ve stayed here before with absolutely no problems. This time I think was just a randomness. There was panties in the bed at the foot of the bed

Only one icemaker in the lobby, which was out of order. Only one pillow and a very old bed in a allegedly queen room, although when I asked in reception, I was given another pillow No coffee in room, no refrigerator only, one nightstand and very small thin towels

So far this is the worse hotel we had, room was duty, smells badly. I know you request to pay in advance we should have the chance to check the room before sign. I don’t know why it has a good review when I check on line, worse hotel so far. I don’t recommend it.

We were on a road trip & needed a place to stay with our 2 dogs. Upon check-in it was obvious that staff was smoking in the lobby. I was assigned a second story room far from stairs & asked if they had something on the first floor. I was told nothing was available. We circled around the motel to look for parking & were put off by the loitering in the parking lot. I returned to the lobby and let them know that the room would not work for us & we would not be staying. If you are looking for a clean and safe motel for the night, pass this one by.

Dirty old place please do not reserve it

Our room was so dirty and there was so much dog hair on the floor. I used a wash cloth to clean the floor after I showered and this is a picture of how dirty the floor was

The bathroom floor wasn’t clean we had to clean it the bedding stinker the room smelled bad we had to go buy room deodorizer. And the rooms were very small

Old building. Leaky shower head. Half working faucet. No coffee maker. No shampoo. No hairdryer. No tissues. Not even a pen. Difficulty getting the internet to work, must go close to the office. The price was too high for such minimal amenities. There were lots of restaurants nearby though.

Check-in and check outs were easy and fast. Motel is located nearby multiple food options. And there is a functioning well maintained laundry room available. The area was relatively quiet. That's the good parts. The room itself felt gloomy. It wasn't well cleaned, felt like it had a lingering smoke smell from years back that has penetrated the walls. I wasn't expecting luxury from a Motel 6 but this one didn't meet my Motel 6 expectations. Previous night I stayed in another motel 6 in a different town and it was so much better. I rated that one 6 on a scale of 5 for a Motel 6. We ended up waking up earlier and leaving just to get out.

Due to lots of traveling and reduced funds I have been staying at more Motel 6s. This was right at the bottom of them. First booked a Queen and was told I got a "free upgrade" because they were out of them. Sorry but two fulls in not a "upgrade". I dropped my bags off and didn't return until late. The Wifi wasn't working and I found trash around the room. The next day I found a web in the window with a bunch of dead flies. Good for the spider but there were no flies in the room so how long had the web been there? Was told if I came to the front desk I could get the WiFi to work. My room was the furthest you could get from the office. Motel 6 is not the best but I have had MUCH better from them. I would suggest spending a little more if your thinking of this location.

After driving eight hours, it was so nice to get into a clean hotel room and gets a good nights sleep. I love it that it was next-door to the black bear restaurant, also!

The property is typical for this chain. The night clerk was awesome helping me out to address issues I was having (not property related). The morning folks were very nice and pleasant on a very cold (for me) morning.

The staff was very nice, but the room was awful. The TV didn't work, the heater didn't work properly. The shower leaked and the toilet smelled like pee.

I always like the prices i get everytime for the room. It would be better if they had a microwave, fridge in every room and more cable channels to choose from but other then that its been ok

Did not have comforters on beds. Curtains were falling down. Air conditioner would not come on. Shower had some type of repair compound in the bottom.

Motel is starting to look run down. Bathroom needs to be repainted as you can see nicotine stains coming through the paint. The walls in the bathroom were dirty. Room is really too small for two queen beds. Cigarette burns all over the bathroom. Room smelled like a boys locker room.

They would get mad if we put trash next to the trash can even tho they never emptied it and then was mad when we put dirty towels and bedding right outside out our door they didn’t clean the manager sat outside and smoked all day on her car they were rude and not helpful
