Always a great stay at this downtown location. Helpful, friendly staff.

My stay was nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly… my only issue was my room did not have a view at all and I think I chose a view when I booked. There was literally a wall right outside the window. Other than that it’s in a great location, the free breakfast is a great touch because most places don’t do free breakfast anymore. I would recommend to others

Absolutely wonderful and clean. It was so conveniently located in the downtown area that we never had to drive anywhere. It literally felt like we were at a resort with all the businesses and restaurants right out the front door. Loved everything.

I room was spacious, clean and the property was well kept. However, we did have a problem with the AC in the living area of the room. It was wasn’t work, maintenance was called and they came relatively quickly to fix it. It worked for that day and the next, it stopped working again. Maintenance came again and the replaced the unit. The front desk manager called and apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a bottle of champagne but, my wife and I don’t drink. Then they offered a $30 Starbucks gift card. We accepted it but looking back, I should have demanded that one of the nights be comped. Ok the day of checkout, it felt like the AC stopped working again….

Great stay for the game at Neyland. Highly recommended! Cool fact the SEC was established here and you’re right next to the theater which is amazingly beautiful.

This hotel is close and convent to Neyland Stadium and Tom Black T&F. The rooms are nice size for 2 queen and sofa bed. fresh & clean bathroom. The breakfast buffet was awesome all you can imagine ( from waffles to sausage Canadian bacon cold cereal to meal oatmeal, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit all kinds of break juice). AllThe staff was great and excellent service, Only down fall mini refrigerator in room didn’t keep some items cold enough. They only do valet parking but you can do park in public parking behind and pay per day

Parking fee (valet seemed to be only option) was $49 (before tip). Pet fee was $100 for one night! I went to the bar to get one glass of wine to take back to my room and paid over $20 (before tip)! Great self serve breakfast (included in room cost), unfortunately, room service was not an option for dinner and I arrived later in evening. Ordered dinner via DoorDash and then had to wait in lobby for meal delivery as delivery service cannot use elevator.

The stay was great. They even sold me one of their umbrellas due to rain. Breakfast was good. Coffee great. Valet parking very convenient. Top experience.

The staff was wonderful! The only (minor) critiques I have was that I didn't like that I had to go to a different floor (odd floors only) for my ice and I didn't feel like the AC in the room was adequate. The thermostat bottomed out at 65 degrees but it still felt hot and stuffy in my room.

The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and everything ran smoothly overall. The only minor drawbacks were that breakfast closes at 9:00 AM during the week, which felt a bit early, and I had some difficulty getting the room temperature exactly where I wanted it. Aside from those small issues, it was a very positive experience, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Location was excellent and the hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The entire downtown was walkable from the hotel. The room was large and inviting.

Hotel is in a good location. We were able to take advantage of the public parking which is convenient and not difficult to get to versus the $45/night valet charge. The water pressure in our room was VERY POOR. We had an issue with our commode flushing properly. The maintenance engineer came quickly; however, he changed the handle, and the commode could no longer be flushed with the lid on---that was bizarre. We were to have housekeeping daily; we did not. We had to retrieve towels for the next morning. We had very noisy neighbors. They were loud. Perhaps the walls were thin as well. The morning breakfast was very good.

For price paid i was surprised to find the room looked like it was part of maybe the original older hotel that had been remodeled. Clean but very basic could have gotten a nicer room at another hotel for half the price. No veiw except for roof tops. The TV didn't work had to get maintenance to fix. Went to Five thirty lounge. Was told 10 minutes for table.put name on list said we could wait in lounging area til table was ready and have drinks from the bar. Never had anyone come get our drink order finally flagged an employee down to order drinks, at point we had been there 20minutes waiting. Then another 20 minutes still no drinks . Walk to the bar asked a different employee about drinks. They had no order for it. Wife went to check our names on the list. At this point it was close to 50 minutes no drink and no table. Then they couldn't find us on the list. Which is odd because at around 10 minutes earlier my wife received a text saying our table was ready no one came to get us.they finally got us a table an hour of waiting on the the 10 minute original wait.

Breakfast was nothing special but I’ve never had an included breakfast that was special. Standard fare.

Fantastic location for all downtown activities. The hotel was so beautiful we wished to stay longer. The only thing we did not like was the included (great) breakfast was from 6:30-9:00 sharp. They literally pull the coffee urns at 9:00. They want you up and out early!

Overall everything was good. The hotel and rooms were clean. The lobby and rooftop bar were very nice. The rooms were not as updated as I would have expected for such a nice hotel. Stay for the location and the rooftop amenities. Not the rooms.

This is our place to stay in Knoxville. Close to everything and a wonderful property.

For starters, hotels.com sold me the same room for 200.00 more a mont earlier. I got it cheaper by canceling and re booking. The hotel was average at best. No cleaning or even towels the second day. The receptacle didn't work in bathroom. Stayed at better for half. Staff was friendly. Thats about it. Location was good.

Room needed a deep cleaning. Doritos under the bed. Food under the refrigerator old chicken wings, Cheese. Clump of hair in bathroom base of shower hasn’t been wiped down in a while. Valet temporarily lost our car keys. Very limited eating options inside the restaurant. Plenty in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel felt classy and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and well managed. Parking is valet only, but we were able to park at a nearby public parking deck for free on the weekend, which was only about a three-minute walk.

The lobby decor was very cool and we were greeted very warmly by the front desk staff who also gave us great dinner recommendations. The room was clean and spacious and appeared to be recently remodeled. The breakfast buffet had a variety of delicious options. Overall, we’ve enjoyed our brief one-night stay.

Excellent location in walking distance to Market Square, shopping and dining. My only complaint was noise off of our room from loud cars, and motorcycles. I'm a light sleeper so this was not ideal for me. Also the TV was color was distorted, and needs to be replaced. The lobby is lovely and the breakfast buffet was a notch nicer than other hotels.

Excellent experience! Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Bed was ultra comfortable! The only bad thing was we were told at check-in that breakfast was from 6:00 - 9:30 and when we got there at 9:00 they had just closed. But other than that, it was a great stay.

Hotel was nice and reception staff were great. The room was also nice. My only complaint was that I kept getting woken up from pedestrians and street noise throughout the night. I’ll ask for a room higher up next time.

I am not sure how they choose the rooms. I would expect them to give a first timer a decent room hoping they would want to return. Our room was at the very end of a hallway to the left and the windows opened to another building. Nothing else in view. The ventilation system is very loud and there is only valet parking and parking in a multi-level garage a few blocks away.

This hotel was great! From the views, the rooftop bar/restaurant, staff, bar in the lobby, and the location overall was absolutely amazing!!! We instantly fell in love with the area and atmosphere of the city and the hotel.

The room was nice. Bed was moderately comfortable. The location was fantastic as i had come into town for a concert that was held directly across the street at the Tennessee theather. Staff was very friendly. They dont have a parking lot or garage so used valet parkung.

Wonderful time at the hyatt but the room did have the subfloor chipping up under the carpet so it made the common area a bit dicey. The grout must have separated from the spandex panels. Did make for a tripping hazard around couch and desk area on way in and out of room.

room had an ADA accessible shower which made water go all over the floor. no shelves to put soap or shampoo on. Door latch to room did not close automatically...had to push it shut.

Well situated hotel with comfortable rooms

Just a few steps away from the Tennessee Theater, it’s a great place to stay if you’re in town for a show. The rooms are large and clean and well appointed. The rooftop bar has spectacular views and is a perfect spot to wind down for the night.

We didn’t get our room for 45 min past check in time. They said they were behind on cleaning them. Other than that it was great.

Most of the staff was helpful. Little issue checking but handled very well. Hotel was clean. The upstairs roof top bar was unavailable and the downstairs kitchen closed and hour and 15 minutes early so has to go elsewhere for food and drink.

Bed comfort, excellent. Roof bar amazing. Staff so sweet. Literally the only thing that bugged me about this stay was that my shower hair conditioner was a kind of a soapy hand sanitizer consistency. But not a deal-breaker at all!

Went on a last minute one night get away for our 22nd anniversary. The staff was so friendly! They left a little treat bag with snacks and a very nice anniversary card in our room while we were out for dinner. We closed the bar down on the roof that night- it was lovely!

All was really good except for slow valet parking. Extended wait (40 + minutes) and the hotel gladly refunded the $42 charge.

We wish we had more time here because of how nice the hotel was. We only stayed for a day and a night while passing through Knoxville area. We do travel a lot however and could tell that this hotel was great! Friendly staff, walkable restaurants and bars, very nice facilities. The only suggestion based on the EXPEDIA listing, is that the breakfast is NOT included with your stay. You will have to pay extra for that if you want it.

The best Hyatt Place that we have stayed so far. Its location is in the center of downtown, walkable to Market Square, Sun Sphere and University to Tennessee. The public parking garage is right behind the hotel. Many restaurant, pub, ice cream store choices. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet is much better than an average three star hotel.

Stayed here for the weekend for an event we were attending. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room and property was immaculately maintained. Breakfast was great. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in town.

Pros: clean, quiet, and great central location. Small lobby bar, beautiful rooftop bar with an interior bar and two exterior small bars with lots of seating areas, great views. Decent lower level fitness center. Cons: valet…approx. $45 a day and they don’t even unload or reload luggage.

The mechanical system in the room ran all night long and couldn't be turned off, even after switching it to 'off.' The thermostat appeared to be purely decorative as it did not affect the system (temperature or fan settings).

We very much enjoyed our stay! What a beautiful property! Once we figured out we could park overnight in the same garage they valet in and just walk up with our stuff, the rest of our stay was very smooth and enjoyable.

The beds were very comfortable, the bar on the top floor was fancy and the views incredible also it was in a great location to walk around! The only thing to note is that they don’t have free parking - You have to park in a parking garage across the street that you pay for. Or you can do valet parking, which obviously is also paid.

Located right on Gay Street next to numerous shopping and dining spots. Getting in and out can be hectic but the valet service was marvelous! Buffet breakfast for $11 is a good value. Starbucks is next door with a hotel access.

This hotel was very comfortable & close to everything. Parking was easy at State St garage after I checked near the valet station. Breakfast was also great. Conveniently attached to Starbucks. Would stay there again.

Close to a square and to the worlds fair grounds

We requested twin beds upon check-in, and although the receptionist initially said she would check, she quickly told us none were available—without actually checking. We asked if the sofa in the room could be made up as a bed, and she said we’d have to do it ourselves, though they could provide extra bedding. Unfortunately, the phone in our room wasn’t working, so we had to go down to request the bedding in person. We were told they didn’t have any at the moment but would check with housekeeping. Eventually, housekeeping left a single bedsheet in the room. I had to go back down again to ask for more, at which point the receptionist apologized and gave me a blanket. The shower water was lukewarm at best, and when we inquired, we were told it's due to being on a higher floor—it just takes longer to heat up. Finally, since we had an early departure and wouldn’t make breakfast, we asked if breakfast boxes could be arranged. Without any effort or apology, the answer was simply no. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, but unfortunately, the service we received was far below expectations.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed sheets. They weren't soft and breathable. It was like sleeping in saran wrap. Otherwise, everything else was nice.
