Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests expressing both satisfaction and dissatisfaction. While some guests appreciated the cleanliness, convenience, and friendly staff, others complained about dirty rooms, maintenance issues, and unfriendly staff.
- Convenient location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Dirty rooms and maintenance issues
- Unfriendly staff and poor customer service
- 5/5
The lobby smelled a little when I walked in but the room was freshly cleaned and was a nice place to stay.
- 4/5
Mobility accessible room is fine, but the bathroom door is a “barn door” type- it was very hard to open and close. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay
- 3/5
Was ok for one night. Room was small and very humid, even with air on. Air conditioner was a bit noisy. Left side of bed had a metallic noise every time my husband moved. (Maybe a loose spring or something loose underneath bed) Water pressure was horrible! But, it was quiet and bed, pillows, etc., comfortable and clean. Slept good. Nice tv. Breakfast ok, typical hotel breakfast. Seemed like a safe area. Close to highway and stores/restaurants.
- 2/5
Older building and tired
- 5/5
Good breakfast...
- 1/5
I tried to bathe but the water was so slow coming out of the faucet I was only able to get about 2” of water in the tub after 5+ minutes of running the water. The tub also drained about as quickly. Ice machines were broken except on the main floor. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking on our floor from multiple rooms. The bathroom lighting was so dark it would have been impossible if I had needed to apply any makeup. We skipped breakfast because neither of us felt comfortable eating food that was prepared there. Floors were gross, windows were grimy. In general it was a pretty bad experience. It was definitely not worth the $50 we saved by staying here.
- 5/5
Good stay and quality service
- 3/5
The fitness center, machines did not operate properly. The water dispenser was not functioning. The room sink water was at very low pressure.
- 5/5
Everything about the hotel was great. The room was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was delicious and the staff so helpful.
- 4/5
Bad: AC is kind of noisy (but effective), bathroom door is one of those sliding barn doors that does not really keep in smells or sounds, no soap dish, no trash can in bathroom Bottom line: great balance of low price with comfortable stay. I would go back if I needed a hotel in the Knoxville area
- 5/5
Beautiful simple fun experience
- 4/5
The inside was recently renovated; however the outside does not match. Our hotel room was clean for the most part, but could have been cleaned a lot better. Staff was friendly and breakfast was normal hotel breakfast
- 5/5
It was a good stay. The breakfast was good and the room was nicer than I expected. The ac struggled a little bit for a couple of hours but once the temperature outside dropped it was good throughout the stay.
- 5/5
Easy access in/out. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location near eateries and shopping. Food truck on property a plus.
- 3/5
When i booked the room my mother, who was recovering from a broken hip, was planning to be there with me and my sister which is why i booked an accessible room by third party (Travelocity). Day of travel she decided not to go so when i arrived at the property i asked them to move my sister and i into a regular room incase someone arrived “NEEDING” an accessible room but the hotel would NOT! I was very disappointed in there lack of concern for the next needy traveler. That, on top of the walls being PAPER THIN, there being MOLD in the shower, and tiny bites on my ankle just put my whole experience unpleasant, it was just for one night!
- 3/5
Okay for a quick overnight stop. Room smelt musty and smoky. Tv didn’t work well, very slow to load and change. Had a ground floor room so had to keep the blind closed due to privacy. Felt like being in a closet. Room was clean.
- 4/5
The property was right off the interstate which was great for a one night stay. It was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. The bed was a little firm for me and the air conditioning system was loud when it would cut back on but I still had a decent night’s sleep. I would stay here again on a stop over while traveling.
- 5/5
The name says it all. Friendly staff, awesome owner, great breakfast and a clean room on a sold out weekend. I highly recommend if your visiting this part of Tennessee, stay here!
- 2/5
Second day they threw away all my refrigerator food. Took out all my bags to storage even though I had two nights left.
- 2.5/5
My vehicle broke down and the hotel was in good proximity to the dealership. Also, several restaurants in walking distance. The floors in the room were very dirty. Feet and socks got very dirty, so had to wear shoes at all times. Also, I wanted to do laundry. The soap dispenser was out of order and the hotel couldn’t provide quarters to use their machines. I do not travel with rolls of quarters.
- 4/5
Breakfast room was small. Our king room was small. The bathroom was small. Thankfully it was all clean!
- 3/5
The room seemed clean. The air conditioner/heater was placed away from the bed, in a location where it didn't blow directly on us, which was very nice. Solid surface floor and bathroom were basic (which I like) and clean. Good counter space and tv location. The only complaint I have is that the floral scent in the sheets was overpowering. It was so strong I had a hard time getting to sleep... thank goodness for the fan that helped dissipate the smell.
- 4/5
My TV remote didn’t cooperate. I used the control on the TV. The remote for on/off.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh. Good options!
- 3/5
The breakfast is a little bread heavy but if you like biscuits, waffles, and gravy it will fill you up. This is a 2/3 star hotel and it meets that rating, you get what you pay for, just fine for a place to lay your head during a business trip.
- 5/5
Very reasonable, clean, comfortable, and in a good area. The dream manager was very congenial.
- 2/5
Our first room smelled. They were gracious about moving us, but that room had dried blood on the sheets. We moved one final time and the room was okay. The panel floor was buckled in the middle of the room though. I honestly think the last time I had to switch rooms at a hotel was 5 years ago, so it’s not something I do lightly. It’s sad because I love the size and layout of the rooms (kitchenette), and it looked recently updated.
- 5/5
Great deal for the price and breakfast was 👍
- 2/5
The room had an odd odor to it. The room looked clean but there was an awful smell. The rest of the hotel smelled fine until we made it into to the room. The staff was good. The outside of the hotel looks a little sketchy but for the price it wasn't bad. The rooms are updated decently, but some of the plug sockets under the tv didn't work. Warning, the air conditioner was extremely loud and made a weird noise. Not a horrible stay but there were things that could have been better! I give it a 5/10.
- 5/5
We were in town for a concert. The place was super clean and had super comfy beds.
- 5/5
This hotel provided an excellent stay especially considering how affordable the rooms were. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was a quick 15-20 minute drive down the freeway to downtown Knoxville even in rush hour. Overall very pleased with this hotel.
- 5/5
It was good
- 5/5
Is so emtpy
- 4/5
Bueno pero muy estrecho el lugar.
- 4/5
It was okay and I slept there. It's all I wanted. I wasn't there to eat or work out or anything else.
- 5/5
Very clean all around, helpful staff, compact but very convenient, clean, comfortable room. Breakfast every morning.
- 2/5
The floor was sticky, the tap in the bathroom was broken off, very little water pressure, loose toilet seat, lots of chips in the bathtub and an odour in the room.
- 4/5
Breakfast was very basic. We left just as the dining area opened so we did not eat anything. For an inexpensive hotel, this is worth a look. I will consider staying here again.
- 5/5
Place looked newly renovated. Not what I usually expect for this brand.
- 5/5
very good
- 3/5
Room and hotel was nice, but it’s come to my knowledge that someone backed into my car and i wasn’t notified, i got informed of this days later instead of while i was staying at the hotel.
- 4/5
The water pressure in both the shower and sink were terrible. Water barely came out of the sink
- 4/5
The room was clean and had super comfortable and soft beds. We just had a 1 night stay and did not use any amenities or breakfast for we slept in. Clean in and out was easy.
- 5/5
They did a decent job with the updated renovations. Only one trash can in the room and no washcloths. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
We were in a handicap accessible room, but I’m thankful that fortunately neither of us actually needed an accessible room because the door to the bathroom was a sliding barn door, and it was extremely difficult for us to open, and I cannot imagine how someone in a wheelchair would ever be able to open and close the door.
- 5/5
The bathroom door was a sliding barn door and would not open and closely. That is really my only compalint. The staff were excellent and friendly!
- 4.5/5
Ok
- 5/5
The breakfast was okay.
- 4.5/5
The rooms were older but remodeled with a fresh look. Breakfast was great. The rest of our soccer team paid about twice as much to stay across the street. I felt I had the better option!
- 5/5
Nice room, quiet location, free hot breakfast, peaceful stay.
- 4/5
Clean room, good location to everything, they had breakfast. Plenty of spaces for parking. The night time staff could be a little more friendly.
- 4/5
Room was adequate; breakfast not so great. Coffee was good.
- 2/5
Dirty rooms and halls. Tub was not clean. Would not recommend
- 5/5
Room was small but very nice, great value as a place to sleep. My room was near lobby and was noisy when I got there (8:00) but was quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was pretty basic
- 4/5
I was just passing through the area. My arrival was too late and departure too early to use any of the amenities other than the room and dining area. The room was great. The dining area was a little too small and crowded for breakfast. The food itself was good and plentiful.
- 3/5
The room itself and breakfast area were very clean. The king room was tiny, but adequate for one night's stay. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in bathroom sink was very low. The hotel is in a busy area, but noise was not an issue on the 1st floor. Didn't feel too good about the unlocked side door to the building, but the front desk employee said it would be ok. Breakfast had multiple options, but eggs were very watery and waffles very dry.
- 5/5
Rooms were brand new. Even had to pull protective fim off TV. Area was great. Breakfast amazing. Beds comfortable.
- 5/5
Great price!
- 4/5
Was there for the Bassmasters Classic. Nice place to stay for a business trip or clean place for over night budget stay.
- 4.5/5
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable, room was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. The location was good for us and close to everything we needed. Hotel breakfast had the usual options, but everything was served hot and fresh. The room that we were in was quite small.
- 1/5
Starting around midnight, people were loudly arguing and slamming doors. This went on until after 3:00a.m.We were on the 1st floor so I know front desk could hear. NO SLEEP! The breakfast wasn't worth eating. Sorry to be such a downer but this was a terrible place to stay. All doors slam when they shut. Who designs a hotel like this? Lots of traffic noise. Staff were okay
- 3/5
Staff were friendly, but our room wasn’t cleaned good. When we asked for our floors to be mopped (our floor towel turned brown from the floor when wet) we were told housekeeping wasn’t available.
- 5/5
Clean with helpful staff
- 5/5
Best Quality Inn we have ever stayed in! Super clean, easy check in, room was exactly as pictured, and very friendly staff.
- 2/5
It was not nearly as nice as the pictures looked online.
- 3/5
Conveniently located to where we needed to be. Rooms was adequate for what we needed. Gentleman at front desk was very rude and not very customer friendly. Very short with any questions we may have had and overall not very welcoming at all. Rude to other guest that had room concerns. Overall had we not already unpacked the car I truly don’t think I would have stayed. Didn’t feel welcomed at that hotel the entire stay.
- 4/5
Good for a no-frills stay. You can tell it's an older building, but the room was still nice and clean. The water pressure left something to be desired however, and there was not a trash can in the bathroom (only in the room itself). It was good for the price, but we did get woken up the first morning by (what we believe were) housekeepers speaking very loudly in Spanish.
- 5/5
Great location, close to restaurants, quiet room and pleasant staff
- 5/5
I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful and clean room, great staff and awesome hot breakfast.
- 2/5
Room was clean. One chair, that was broken, for two people. A roll and 1/2 of toilet paper. Absolutely no water pressure. No Kleenex. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
The everege was good. Unfortunately, I choose I small room. It was very small. Location is perfect. I could go to a lot of places by walking. I recommend it if you are traveling on a budget.
- 3/5
Cant get a hot shower. The water temp just above luke warm. Had shower running for an hour and couldn't even put steam on the bathroom mirror.
- 1/5
Had to change rooms 3 times due to the room being dirty or the HVAC not working properly. They took this place and slapped some lipstick on a pig. Horrible experience. Breakfast was barely edible.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent, very courteous. Rooms were clean and neat. We did use the laundry room and it was neat and clean. Could use an ATM machine. Would of like to give a better tip. Thanks for the stay.
- 0.5/5
The “desk person” was asleep when we came in the door, went to the room to find no hot water and the heat not working in the room. Went back down to the lobby to find the same “desk person” barefoot and disheveled. Got refunded and left. Unprofessional and unkempt. Spend your money elsewhere.
- 3/5
The room was fine. The hot water did not work in the shower. Other than that, it was okay.
- 3/5
Good for overnight stay, very basic. Room is spacious needs some maintenance/ upgrades. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but limited.
- 1.5/5
Damages, no water pressure, and judge unclean Too much low quality construction attempts.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfy
- 0.5/5
When you could get in the bed the mattresses were pretty comfortable. I was in handicap room however it was not. The bed was as tall as my Walker and I couldn't get in it. The front door was not handicap accessible the rubber mats there were also bad for Walker, the staff was rude and the room was filthy. Was supposed to pay one night only and they charged me for three I was there only two nights I'm still trying to get my money.
- 5/5
The updates in the property were noticeably. Staff was vey friendly. Appreciated the new and comfortable king size bed. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and well-stocked. Appliances in the room were working and new. Loved the fitness room and appreciated a working ice machine.
- 3/5
Yes. Good for overnight stay. Coffee not so good.
- 5/5
Everything Nothing
- 3/5
The room was clean breakfast was good. The room had an old ppl smell to it but luckily I had my Lysol. Also be ready for the 100$ deposit on top of your room payment.
- 4/5
The room was fine. The bed was great with soft sheets. The breakfast was super limited. I ended up not eating anything but a yogurt. The bed grests top marks. Parking was fine. Only stayed one night.
- 4/5
Updated room with tile floor instead of carpet. Clean simple lines in room and bathroom.
- 5/5
It was nice overall
- 4/5
Room was clean, breakfast was great, staff was fine, not the shiney happy to see you kind of staff, but nice enough.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Small room but it was fine for us.
- 5/5
Excellent value, great location!
- 5/5
Room was excellent and very clean. Excellent staff.
- 5/5
Clean Nothing
- 4/5
Sheets were really soft
- 4/5
Parking lot was a little cramped with very little spots to choose from. The front desk man was very IMPERSONAL, wasn’t terrible but not friendly at all, just going through the motions with no eye contact. The hotel itself smelled nice and looked aesthetically clean. The room was small. No full length mirror, which i thought was strange. Clean room. Cute. The floors were sticky though 😖 overall not a bad stay. No internet streaming on tv. Bed was comfy. Stayed one night.
- 4/5
Nice clean rooms, good value for money.
- 5/5
Clean room with fridge and microwave, small but livable. Room was at ground level with odd window shade (outside folks could see in unless completely closed). No way to ensure privacy without blocking all outside light to wake you up.
- 3/5
It’s pretty dirty and damp.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and smelled very pleasant. Check in was painless and quick.
- 4/5
They had clean rooms and clean bedding. The staff was helpful and got us what we needed quickly.
- 4/5
The room was very spacious and overall a good value, but what was most impressive was the attentive staff. My daughter left her wallet behind by mistake. A quick phone call to the front desk was all it took for the receptionist to locate and secure the wallet until we returned. Thank you very much!
- 3/5
To be a little more cleaner
- 4/5
Breakfast was very good. .The bathroom seat was NOT TIGHT, the toilet was NOT TIGHT, the sink cabinet seemed wigglely. There was a chip in the tub. Hence bathroom needs work !
- 5/5
very excellent
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
There was too many young men lounging on the bank on the side of the hotel. The outside door did not shut and anyone could have entered the premises. The cleaning crew needs better facilities. Their carts obstructed the walkway and their children were blocking the walkway.
- 3/5
Room was small. Only got one towel per person. Breakfast was decent.
- 5/5
A
- 4/5
Bigger room than we expected. The young lady who checked us in was great. She checked to see if a room was ready, even though we were two hours before check-in, which allowed us to leave luggage in our room rather than keeping them in the car for hours.
- 2/5
Two dirty towels that were folded up and breakfast was terrible along with fire alarm going off early in the morning sporadically every couple minutes for over an hour.
- 4/5
Cool service
- 5/5
This was a wonderful place to stay. We reserved the room the same day. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy. The Bathroom was stocked wth supplies
- 5/5
Blessed
- 4/5
Stopped here to sleep on a roadtrip further South. Hotel is fine to sleep in. Had a bar of used, open, soap left in the shower, but all was good.
- 3/5
Great staff and the room itself was nice but the hallways entryway and parking lot were dirty and unwelcoming.
- 5/5
Everything is great, the breakfast is very good. Nice and clean hotel
- 4/5
Staff very friendly
- 2/5
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Beds were not very comfortable and the A/C barely worked, so the room was quite warm. Breakfast was bare minimum and not a lot of healthy options. Our room had ants by the fridge but we felt too exhausted to change rooms. The fridge only seemed to be a freezer and all of our pop cans burst which may have attracted said ants. Not a bad stay but not a great one either. Quiet and clean other than ants, just not comfortable.
- 4/5
Breakfast not stocked, nothing really there. Staff not welcoming. Easy parking. Even with do not disturb sign, staff came 2x banging on door.
- 5/5
Modern, clean room. Most comfortable bed in any hotel we have stayed in!
- 4/5
Need to improve availability of hot water….had to take a cold shower!!
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 4/5
It was newly renovated . Great bed and bathroom There were migrant construction workers that were staying there and drinking beer and urinating in the parking lot at night.
- 2/5
We Found out that this is a former Microtel property which explains why the rooms are incredibly small. Just enough room to walk around the bed and that’s it. The ventilation system in the room is horrendous! It smelled like heavy mildew mold, and everything that we brought into the room had to be laundered afterwards because of the smell permeating everything. it was very damp in the room as well, The towels even felt damp so when you get out of the shower to dry off, you’re drying yourself dry with a damp towel. I would never stay here again and the amount of money that they charged for this room because it was game weekend in Knoxville is insane for what you get. Price gouging like this should be a crime.
- 5/5
The gentleman working the front desk was very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Breakfast is minimal and need to offer bananas as a staple fruit. Other choices are basically sugar and eggs are not real.,Room was nicely remodeled and like flooring and very comfy bed. Shower drain was clogged and needs attention. Four star rating
- 3/5
Good
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable and the room was as depicted. The only complaint I have is that the room had a bit of a mildewy odor to it and it was pretty humid in the room.
- 3/5
The water pressure needs to be increased. It's very low to the point that it becomes an inconvenience. The towels are also not great. Other than that everything was fine.
- 2/5
Rooms are somewhat updated. Skimpy towels in room, skimpy breakfast, rooms not fully clean, etc. Front desk staff was not friendly.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable The breakfast
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, the desk staff friendly and helpful
- 5/5
GOOD LOCATION. CLEAN. OVERNIGHT STOP ON TRIP FROM FLORIDA TO OHIO.
- 4/5
Parking was safe. Room temp was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very minor, most of the vending machines were poorly stocked or didn’t work. But overall a good stay in a good location.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 2.5/5
The room was bright and clean. The room is SOOOOOO small we couldn't walk. But the worse thing was the smell!!! It was non-smoking but someone was smoking "something" in a room. I had to get some room spray and light a candle. It was horrible.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Highly recommend . Will stay here again when visiting Knoxville.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
The man who was on the counter for check-in was aggressive. The Room was clean, comfortable but we felt threatened with the check-in staff as he yelled at my father, who is elderly man only because my dad asked to check the name on the reservation again as the staff couldn’t find it. I’ll be reporting his behavior to IHG as it was unacceptable.
- 3/5
A/c had issues
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable bedding and sheets. I slept like a dream.
- 3/5
Got soaking wet in the rain due to the property not having a portico. Clerk was hard to understand. He would not look up at the customer. The room was clean.
- 4.5/5
Very clean and well kept Nothing
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
- 4/5
Needed a cheaper place to stay during a wedding weekend. The room was a good size and was quiet.
- 2/5
Noisy and funny smell with a very small room
- 2/5
Room was very small, bugs in our room huge cockroach this morning
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms are small, but cozy, and have all of the amenities you may need. The recent room upgrades maximize the space. Little things like nice-sized TV, built-in luggage space, comfortable bed linens, and fog-proof mirror make a value hotel a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Clean room but small.
- 5/5
The hotel is well maintained in like-new condition. Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice rooms.
- 1/5
The lobby reeked of cugarette smoke. There was NO internet. No decaf coffee and very sparse offering for breakfast. My room was clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The first room had the shades off the window, the room was clean but a little musty smelling. I went to the staff and they gave me a new room no problem. I travel with febrez so the damp smell was no problem. For a quick had to have a slepp on traveling through it was good.
- 3/5
I was surprised that this hotel had a good rating. We felt that it was shabby, and not the most appealing. Our room had a very strange odor in it that had us both feeling a little ill by morning. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.
- 3/5
Room was very small (this hotel used to be a Microtel so no surprise), so there wasn't much room to move around, but you could tell it had been recently updated and was clean. The a/c was not working properly the first night, but after I requested they look at it they came in and replaced it with a new one that worked great the rest of the trip. There was no soap in the room when I arrived, and they didnt remember to bring me some when I asked, but I was able to track some down. Was clean and bed was comfortable and place was relatively quiet. Staff was helpful when needed.
- 4/5
Clean room. Quiet, safe environment, easy to park. Problem is the front entrance is not handicap accessible. Kinda inconvenient if you have your hands full and trying to enter 2 sets of doors.
- 5/5
The bed was confortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was good. The room was clean.
- 1/5
Ant investation got in our luggage😖😢
- 4/5
Everything was good with the staff and nice breakfast. The room was a little small, but looked recently updated. The inside was better than the outside as far as appearance. Nice landscaping! Good value for the rate.
- 3/5
Hotel is right by a bunch of food which is nice. The room was ok. The floors were dirty when we walked into the room. Had to ask them to clean twice before anyone came at the end of the day. Other than that it was ok.
- 1/5
Needles in the lot, antlers in the room, homeless camp right outside the building. Management was cooperative with switching to an upper level room.
- 2/5
They are remodeling and it sure needs it.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable and friendly
- 4/5
The room was clean, water pressure a little low
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room. Basic but.satisfactory breakfast. Many restaurants n the area.
- 3/5
Beds and pillows were comfortable for the night. Room refrigerator didn't work. The few items we had in it had to be thrown out. Breakfast was very limited. Sausage, gravy, eggs, juice, coffee, apples, yogurt, bread, bagels, cereal. Basic needs for one night stay.
- 5/5
Nice bathrooms. Small room but has everything- microwave, fridge, ironing board/iron.
- 4/5
Interior condition was really good. The exterior is in need of a fresh look.
- 4/5
Conversely, the elevators were dirty. I usually prefer taking stairs, but the stairwells were too filthy. They looked like a renovation in progress, which I understand, but there was trash on the floor and construction debris. A sign indicating construction would have at least explained the mess. There was such a stark contrast between the rooms themselves and the stairwells and elevator. Overall, we had a nice stay. Hopefully, the renovation will continue throughout the property.
- 5/5
Had few small ants at window
- 3/5
Very comfortable hotel. The breakfast was basic. The location had a good variety of restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
Friendly and easy check-in, helpful front desk, surprisingly good breakfast option. We stayed one night, we were just passing through. We had a peaceful night's sleep and felt safe.
- 5/5
Easy check in. The clerk was right there when I checked in very late in the evening. A short, polite, considerate, conversation, then a key card, easy peezy.
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice location
- 5/5
Stay was excellent. Room was very clean organized and orderly. Hotel included internet. Loved the kitchen with refrigerator and kitchen.
- 5/5
No other comments
- 2/5
Room was dirty, under the beds have not been cleaned in a while as lots of dust and dirty Kleenex under the beds..gross…sink did not work (it was removed) in the kitchenette. Air conditioner was in its last legs and made some loud noises going on and off. Lighting was poor. Breakfast was poor… boxed eggs were a strange consistency .
- 5/5
We needed a quick place for one night! Great location, easy to get to, many food options nearby and just worked out!!
- 3/5
Needed cleaning. Ok but not a hotel that I’d recommend. It was UTK’s graduation weekend. The price was ridiculously high, but it was one of the only available rooms in the area.
- 3/5
Good price and location
- 5/5
It was great and very clean
- 4/5
This is an old building with new renovation. Very nice and beautiful rooms with new furniture. But there is a terrible smell of old age and dampness in the room because the air conditioning does not work when there are no tenants in the room, and the windows do not open. I had to sleep with the exhaust fan on all night to reduce this terrible smell a little. Yes, everything is painted and the furniture is new, but the building is old and smells terrible. Breakfast is super simple and cheap. I did not like it. The workers are not very friendly, although one of them gave me a quiet room away from the elevator. If I could open the window it would be perfect. But I am sensitive to smells and I can't stand the smell of old rooms. I think the price is high even taking into account the new renovation.

The staff was very accommodating to my needs and worked with me when I needed to depart early due to an urgent matter back home across the states. I would stay here again, but the drawbacks are that the windows didn't open so I wasn't able to get any fresh air into the musty smelling room and there was dust on some items. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

All was good except that. My 77 year old sister was not happy about the bugs. Just need an exterminator session. All other was good.

Very unfriendly front desk when we checked in late and interrupted him. Very stiff bed, no good breakfast and weird smells in halls and room. No hand soap.

Staff was not friendly upon checking in. Barely spoke to us. The 1st room had bedbugs. Staff denied. Got another room, however. It was fine. Bed was comfortable. Seemed clean. Won't be staying there again, though. Mostly because we were gaslit.
