The blanket and sheets had burn holes in it and the mattress cover had stains all over it not cleaned also got up to go to the restroom in the middle of the night and there was roaches crawling around when I turned the light on there was also people I assume homeless just hanging out in the hall half the night before they left

Perfect location for us to get to Neyland stadium. We initially had to move rooms, as we booked a non smoking room, but someone had obviously been smoking in the room before.

The rooms was in serious need of repair. The shower was dirty. The property itself is run down and needs some improvements. I will never stay there again.

This hotel was cleaner than most higher end hotels I've stayed in. Immaculate. They have a few dings and scrapes, but the bathrooms look like they were just retiled. Best part is that it was only 12 minutes from BigEars Music Festival by car. Really easy to navigate with a large refrigerator/freezer in room. Good budget-friendly option 20 minutes from the airport.
- 2/5
Great location, lousy motel. Rooms were run down, not very clean, bedspreads had burn holes, tiles were missing, floors were dirty. Had to stay because there were no other hotels available. Do not recommend.

The location was close to I75 Front desk clerk was helpful Checked in to our first room and lights and fan in bathroom did not turn on. Reported and front desk clerk came to inspect and we were given another room. The second room was dirty, had to clean toilet, wipe down sink, door and tv remote. One of pillows was dirty( clerk brought us a new one). Pool was not open, vending machines out of order. Lots of air freshener used+++throughout building, no in room coffee maker, no breakfast or coffee in lobby. Stayed here only because we had driven all day and needed place to sleep. We were checked out by 7

Clean, great shower, nice room. The 4 stars are because the very firm bed wrecked my back! That's a me problem though. Not their fault. Anyway...pretty great stay!

If the lady at the front wasn't so nice i wouldn't have bothered checking in.
- 1/5
Dirtiest, smelliest hotel I have ever walked into.
- 2/5
Would not stay here again. Cleanliness and amenities need work.
- 2/5
Hey, Rob did the hotel and they did not have a room for us. I received confirmation I will check and make sure it was not charged because we had to go somewhere else and pay four times the amount. So no I was not happy because we didn’t even get to stay in our room. They must’ve given it away, so it was not a good situation.
- 2/5
The sheets had cigarettes holes in them as well as the comforter. We purchased sheets from Walmart to sleep on because we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on the bed
- 5/5
It was very peaceful. I needed a peaceful trip for once and I got it
- 1/5
Actually I was ready to turn back and leave only I just drove in fron FL for a funeral. Had it not been for Damon i would have never checked in. No breakfast no pool ' blankets and sheets were full of holes cigarette Burns rips hand towels were dingy Gray sheets were full of burn holes I spilled water on the floor and went to wipe it up with a face towel and it was black from dirt no dressers no chess nowhere to hang clothes the pictures that I viewed in order to rent that room it was a bait and switch those rooms are nothing like what you get. It's a sense of false advertising!! Of course it will not allow me to add photos because it'll definitely incriminate them maybe my title horrified is a trigger word not allowing me to add pictures

Our room was not ready well after 10:30PM. I could not check in and I was told I couldn’t check in because there weren’t any keys to check us in. The supervisor had not provided the night staff with the proper materials to check in guest. Furthermore this hotel did not have any kind of elevator so if you have a lot of luggage or ADA disabilities, they are not within a coordinates of the ADA. The lobby smelled terrible and I had to call Expedia to get a refund and wait for them to contact the front desk And wait on the approval before I could leave. Meanwhile, there were people in the parking lot talking to things that didn’t exist although mental health is important , this was a problem for the safety of the guest and the police probably should have been involved. We did not feel safe at this establishment and we didn’t even get to the point where we could check into our room well after 10:30 at night. The hotel agreed to a refund however it will not show up for 10 to 14 days . This property looks nothing in real life like it does on the website although I booked from my phone quickly I expected the purchase to look exactly as the intent was released to the public. This place is merely false advertising. The owner / supervisor wasn’t even near the establishment and the staff member at the front desk did not have what they needed to take care of the guest.
- 3/5
I did.It was a nice quiet place in clean rooms
- 4/5
The hotel on the outside looks nice worst experience ever! Burns in sheets shower leaked unclean and people doing drugs in the lot
- 5/5
They were so polite and nice to us. It’s peaceful there and no one really bothers you when your there.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay, the hotel was clean in the room as well as the rest of the property, staff were great and accommodating. Peaceful compared to hotels in this area. Will stay again.
- 1/5
Whole place reeks of cigarette smoke, inspite of signs saying no smoking. Littered in and out with cigarette butts. The room was dirty, mystery white substance on the headboard and brown stained sheets. The water pressure in the shower was basically a trickle. We opted to leave at 3am the day after we checked in because it smelled so bad it was making me sick to my stomach. My advice, pay a little more and stay anywhere else.

Pictures and description on the internet totally misrepresenting.. We travel pretty extensively and this was one of the biggest disappointments we've had.. not very clean, amenities were at the minimum..not very well maintained.."see pictures" sketchy part of town with a lot of stragglers.. we won't be visiting here again.. The staff was awesome and totally took care of everything that they could for us.. but the complex left us feeling unsafe and dissatisfied..

You’ll probably be shocked to hear I didn’t say anything to the front desk but when it’s this bad. The front desk already knows lol. I also was only there like 5 hours haha. Enjoy at your own risk!
- 1/5
Worst hotel, don't stay here.
- 1/5
My room was dirty the bed sheets were dirty we didn't even sleep in the bed an the window was cracked everything was terrible
- 3/5
Convenient location as it was close to the arena in which we were attending a concert for. The smell of marijuana was very very harsh in the lobby along with the rest of the public space in the hotel. The sheets were clean however the comforters were stained with what appeared to be an oil type of substance. The floor was not swept but could be overlooked. The surfaces were wiped down and semi clean. Would not stay again but for a one night stay it was an ok experience.
- 1/5
I stay at a lot of hotels and this was far and away the worst one I’ve ever been to. The pictures need to be updated - hotel no longer looks like them. It’s run down, dirty and the staff pretended they didn’t notice. They offered to move me to a new room which was somehow worse than the first. 0/10 recommend. Awful.

Comfortable bed the room was small the shower and bathroom was small. The building needs to be updated the pictures do not look the same in the picture. I recommend staying there one night only.

No amenities whatsoever.
- 1/5
The floor was black when we mopped it when I first gotghere an I found a pill in the floor and the whole room was just desgusting
- 3/5
Not going to this one again
- 1/5
I tried to check in to this property and the receptionist said that they did not take online reservations and he did not have record of our reservation. We were unable to stay and will be contacting Expedia. Luckily, there was a hotel 5 minutes away with a room available.
- 1/5
The walls were thin, and I heard the next room’s occupants yell at their kids from 7-11pm on both nights. There were stains on the walls, pallets of AC units in the lobby, the TV mount was still on the wall, and a smaller tv was in front of it. The bed was uncomfortable, and the elevator didn’t work. No breakfast or coffee, and the several year renovation looks nothing like the ads. Never again. And bring a personal protection device so you can feel safe from the folks who hang out in the parking lot.
- 5/5
Good people respectful and supportive and they helped me
- 1/5
Okay service. No coffee continental breakfast in lobby. No coffee in room
- 2/5
We liked where this hotel was located, however our room didn’t seem overly clean, we didn’t have any towels, the lady at the desk didn’t seem happy to be at work or wanting to help. It stated it was non smoking as well but the hallways smelt like smoke the whole time.
- 1/5
Advertised photos online are not accurate at all. There was no complementary breakfast or coffee available like the description says. Just a terrible hotel in general. Avoid at all costs!
- 3/5
Hair in the shower, unpainted repairs on walls, no water pressure, rooms small, no closets nor dresser
- 3/5
I arrived very early morning and the clerk was very helpful. The room was well maintained but lacked towels which I didn’t realize till I was getting ready to depart.
- 5/5
very quit,very good service.And relaxville
- 5/5
But everything else was wonderful
- 3/5
The whole place smells like old cigarettes and we had zero toilet paper even after asking for same multiple times
- 4/5
Had a nice stay beds and room was clean, employees nice, quick check in and overall enjoyable stay.
- 1/5
Premises were filthy, staff was blasé, no toilet paper in room, TV remote not working, fruit flies around sink area…NASTY…
- 3/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are not the most coziest and comfortable also had a slight bug problem.
- 2/5
the mirror in the bathroom has visible splashes all over it from god knows what. the bathroom light didn’t even work. the blankets had cigarette burns in them. honestly, i slept fully clothes like on top of the bed then got out of there as fast as possible in the AM.
- 5/5
I stayed here for a day. The room itself was great. Definitely worth the price. If you are a non smoker, it might be a little uncomfortable for you. I visited from another country and was not used to the smoking culture.
- 1/5
Reeked of smoke. Front desk man told me about how someone OD and almost drove into the building that day.
- 4/5
The hotel room was very renovated updated. The only think I didn't like was the shower, didn't have hot water, only warm water and the shower water pressure was not good neither. Also no breakfast. Other than that, it was a decent stay.
- 1/5
There were no towels or wash clothes, the room was not clean, the bedding had cigarette burns, there were shopping bags left in the drawers, there was no bible, no alarm clock,no hair dryer, only a half used toilet paper on the roll and no extra, tv didn't work, the pool was closed with a tarp over it and they offered no "continental breakfast" or any breakfast for that fact. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend to anyone I like
- 5/5
Some updates needed but stay was better
- 5/5
Pretty nice, and didn't break the bank.
- 1/5
Our room was dirty. The fridge was full of mold. We had to towels or toiletries. There was blood on the shower curtain. Would not recommend to stay at all!
- 1/5
No breakfast (yet advertised everywhere as including breakfast), also sheets have holes (the receptionist admitted this before i even checked into the room!) and while room was ok, but outside hallways and stairs were very dirty. I do not recommend.
- 1/5
Terrible. Don’t stay here. Pictures advertised are not what the facility looks like. Very sketchy area.
- 1/5
Sketchy area disgustingly dirty hotel
- 2/5
It is rare for me to write a bad review but this room looked nothing like the photos. There were no pictures on the wall. The toilet would hardly flush.- we continuously filled a cup with water to flush. The faucet was barely attached to sink basin. The hallways smelled of smoke. Overall condition was not good and we are fairly used to budget hotels for a quick night's stay. Front desk person was friendly enough but very slow. Do yourself a favor and maybe continue looking elsewhere.
- 1/5
Bad
- 1/5
There was an unpleasant smell of cigarette/smoke smell from going inside the building all the way up into our room. Weird & unidentifiable yellowish/brown stains on bed sheets. Pillows were too small & stiff. Opened up the mini refrigerator & there was still food & Starbucks glass drink from possible previous visitors. Shower was barely even warm, lukewarm at best. Only thing good was the lights & the AC. Customer service was definitely A1 at check in though.
- 1/5
Ive never complained in my life...but This is THE WORST hotel i have ever stayed in. It is dirty, all the restrooms are out of order, there is no elevator, the toilet seat is broken, the room is moldy, THE AD SAID BREAKFAST INCLUDED but the desk said "it is unavailable". The hotel looks nothing luke the photos and the amenities listed are totally false. I am shocked that Expedia's quality control on listings is this poor.
- 1/5
First off, the smoke smell isn't just smoke, it's weed. Second, the heater didn't work. Third, there were only two sheets and no blanket. Both my wife and daughter have asthma. I went out and bought an air purifier that got us through the night. From the looks of it, the company bought the property in really bad shape and remodeled it. They had to replace the carpet in the rooms with nice hard floors. The only positive was the shower stall was nicely done. Pay the extra few bucks, go elsewhere.
- 2/5
We were not happy with the room cause the description for booking stated other amenities that were not given. Only a shower was available. No coffee pot, couldn’t watch television only had 2 channels.and we were supposed to have a breakfast included and that wasn’t available also. Very dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend going back to that establishment.
- 3/5
They do not wait till checkout time to come by they will come early and they will walk in the room to tell you
- 3/5
It was cool, there was construction and weird set up in the room. Has desk that is not near to any outlets to plug in devices for power.
- 3/5
Place was just ok. The lobby had bugs in the light under check-in counter. Looks like my room was updated but with only half the effort.
- 1/5
Just don’t stay here! We paid for 2 nights and only stayed for one night because it was so bad. Ended our trip early because of this trashed and disgusting hotel. Pro tip - Knoxville hotels all suck unless you can pay $300/night at the Marriott. Drunken idiots are ruining these cheaper hotels. Stay away!!
- 1/5
Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Would never stay here again. It smelled so bad. We actually left after seeing the room and went to comfort inn down the street.
- 1/5
There wasn’t much to like. The property was undergoing a renovation and my first room was renovated but had cigarette burns in the sheets and comforter with dirty sheets. The second room had clean sheets but more burns in the bedding. My third room was not remodeled, the lighting was terrible, the desk chair was broken, the carpet was stained. I looked at a fourth room that was no better so stayed in room 3 only because I had driven 600 miles that day and booked the room through Expedia. If I could received a refund I would have left the property. I went down for breakfast the next mourning to find out that they were not serving it because of the renovation. I will never stay at a Rodeway again!
- 1/5
Well where to begin…they’re remodeling so that’s a mess. But the main thing is I was sleeping in the day because I work nights as a travel nurse. Both days on multiple occasions, someone would try to come in my room. Seriously y’all…..come into my room while I’m in bed asleep. It was terrible. It was noisy and all the beating and banging. Never ever again!! I’ll sleep in my car first!!!!
- 1/5
Went to our room and bed topping had stains on both beds. Pillow case had stains. Carpet was filthy with stains. Walls dirty. Door knob panel had been replaced, but door wasn’t repainted so framed with un- matching paint. We didn’t stay! Asked for our money back and went to another motel tried and upset. We had gotten in at 4am and wanted to go straight to sleep. Obviously, that didn’t happen.
- 1/5
The rooms were not what they have in the pictures. The room was filthy with stains all over the bed an pillows. Drawers were broken and the overall feel of this palace is unsafe.
- 4/5
Frontal desk were really nice. The only issue was that our sheets had stains on it and we requested new ones. But overall, stay was ok.
- 2/5
Under renovation, no TV remote, no smoke detector, no trash can, no bedside lamp but the stains on the comforter added to the discussion. Bare bones
- 1/5
Without a doubt the worst hotel I have stepped foot in
- 1/5
Used to be a Sleep Inn. Apparently the property condition had gotten so bad that it lost the franchise. Refurbishing is going on somewhere, but not in my room. Nothing but coffee in the morning. The pool was shut down.
- 1/5
The bathroom had holes in it, dirt. No toilet paper or washcloth. I would never have stayed if I could have gotten a refund. I slept with one eye open! No coffee, no breakfast due to renovations, so they said. I told them that was false advertisement. They claimed they called Hotels.com several times to make this change.
- 1/5
It was nastyty
- 1/5
Room was not clean. People getting belligerently drunk in the parking lot. Pool was closed. Staff was friendly, though.
- 1/5
We got there at about 8 that evening, we parked and there was cases of beer with empty beer bottles at the edge of the parking lot, people hanging out in vehicles and around the outside of the hotel, I felt very unsafe outside. Got checked in and you could smell pot at the front desk, the guy was nice. Got to our room and it had a strong odor of cigarettes and mens cologne. There was a huge hole on the wall that had been patched, unpainted. The shower was very outdated and when you turned the light on in the shower it flickered and did not have protective covering around it. The bed sheets had stains and the bed was very uncomfortable, it was a very old mattress. The room was in such poor shape and I didn’t feel safe leaving my car outside so we checked out 5 minutes later, guy that checked us out apologized and helped us get our money back on the room.
- 1/5
This had to be one of the worst places to I have stayed. To start with, was suppose to be non-smoking but reaked of cigarettes. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it, the mattress felt like it had holes in it. The toilet seat was super loose and slid every time you set on it and Tv remote was missing the back cover. The ad stated pool and free breakfast. There was no breakfast, (not even coffee pot in room). As for the pool it was covered til next year due to repairs needed. But worse part was the next morning my cloths were soaking wet where i had dropped on floor. After checking, found it to be a bad leak at wall and carpet was soaked. All in all it was the worst place we had ever stayed and i would NOT recommend staying at this hotel.
- 2/5
Room was cleaned 1 day of my week long stay. continental breakfast was never available. vending machine (2nd floor) was always empty. at check out the front desk gave me an incomplete itemized receipt and refused to email a correct copy when i called the next day.
- 3/5
The Pool is closed, they're doin remodel. Our room hasn't been updated. No smoke detector. No tp holder hole in wall where use to be. Shower bar came completely out of the wall when I went to steady myself. Carpet was stained red and other color. Sheet and duvet was ripped. Blanket only on one bed. Lamp on night stand didn't work. No remote for tv. And drug exchanges going out to back. And several drug using wandering around at all hours. Loud music pounding in cars all hours. I made the mistake when i checking in, I committed to stay a second night.
- 1/5
Cigarrete smoke everywhere, it got me allergy and sinus
- 1/5
This was by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The photos were quite misleading. It is in major need of renovation. The entire place reaks of cigarettes. The TV was not working consistantly, the sink did not drain, there were semen stains throughout the room including on the television, and there were sizable bloodstains on the carpet. I am a single mom who was traveling with my child and did not feel safe in this establishment. When I expressed my concern to the front desk person they said there wasnt much they could do and the manager would not refund my cost. they did move me to another room, but it was not much of an upgrade. I am never staying in a Rodeway Inn again.
- 3/5
The staff was great. The building was super old and outdated. Used is a good way to look at it, Lincoln might have stayed here. First thing I noticed that I won’t soon forget was the blood stains on the floor and the cigarette burns on the bed liner. I thought it was especially funny because it’s a non smoking facility lol.
- 2/5
Swimming pool was not available. There was no continental breakfast. There was not a safety chain on our room. Carpeting had lumps in the hallway- easy to trip on. No elevator for second floor. Hard to lug suitcase up to second floor room. Lighting in the bedroom did not always come on.
- 1/5
The room smelled of drugs, was tiny, and there was hair in the shower. There were no other rooms available.
- 1/5
Rented two worries for a large family of 8. The reviews looked decent 3.3 out of 5 or so. Checked in, went to the rooms and they were disgusting! There was what looked to be blood on the shower wall in one room, the smells were terrible. I. The second room there was a pill on the floor in the bathroom, dirty rag, a Pepsi bottle in the lampshade, wet floor and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. With two very young children under 3 we decided not to stay. They couldn’t accommodate or even offer to come see or clean it - although it wouldn’t have made my decision any different. I did get refunded after they had to wait for someone to approve the refund. Never never again.
- 1/5
It was terrible. There was a couple across the hall screaming, fighting and throwing each other against the wall. They were fighting in the hall from about midnight till 3AM. We called the office to complain and they said the police had already been out once. We said call them again. The equipment in the room was in disrepair. Some electrical outlets didn't work. The phone was not plugged into a phone jack. The first room they sent us to had a wide open door and not sheets on the bed. The second room at least had sheets on the bed. I would never go back there.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 2/5
Filthy lamp had noo outlet to plug iit in carpet threasdbare needed painting walls were marked up woood was ddinged. Nocoffee maker. No coffee or breakfast no mail service
- 2/5
Air conditioner did not work properly. Floors dirty.
- 3/5
Upon entering the lobby the area looked great and welcoming; nicely lit, clean, calming colors, albeit a little warm. Person working the desk was very nice and was very patient with me after my three hour straight drive from Kentucky when I was a little disoriented from driving so long with no stop. After getting my key, I headed to my room expecting the same aesthetic in the room. When opening the door I was greeted with the scent of cigarettes lingering in my non-smoking room. Not that big of a deal, I had some cologne that helped mask the odor. After doing a once over of the room, I noticed unpatched holes in the walls for what I assumed were older fixtures. i also noticed cigarette burns on the bed spread and flat sheet, metal fixtures freckled with rust, and the finish on the wooden headboard flaking off. It made me feel very unsure about my stay and ultimately didn’t sleep well because I felt out of sorts. There also seemed to be an issue with the toilet, as soon as I arrived in the room I went to relive myself and it seemed as if you couldn’t even urinate in the toilet without it clogging, and there was no plunger in the room. I had to go to the front desk to get a plunger, which seemed to remedy the issue. The only things I enjoyed was how the room was layer out, it was very retro feeling that they slapped a new coat of paint on, and the shower. The water pressure and range of temperature was good. And it was shaped in such a way I felt like I was in a spaceship.
- 2/5
The property doesn't have an elevator, and I was on the second floor. The light over the sink was supposed to a fluorescent tube, instead it was a single fluorescent bulb hanging from the fixture and plugged in to the wall next to the sink (and wrapped with some electrical tape.) Everything about the room was old, the carpet was ancient and looked nasty. The AC struggled to keep the room tolerable (it was really hot outside) and it was noisy. The poor cleaning lady the next morning was working all by herself, and no one was at the front desk because they were helping do laundry. No continental breakfast, but they were so crazy busy I wouldn't have asked them for anything.
- 1/5
First, the hotel was dirty (hand prints on walls, stains on curtains, and dried food on the night stand. All the baseboard had also been removed from all of the walls leaving them damaged, messy, and unfinished. Despite being listed on Expedia as having a “buffet breakfast” we were informed at check-in that there is NO breakfast included. The TV in the room did not work, the fridge did not work, nor did the bedside lamp, and the front desk was not interested in helping with any of our concerns when we kindly called down to just ask for a remote for the tv. Finally, there were a lot of people just roaming around this parking lot in various states of sobriety/confusion. There was a gathering of people by one of the side exits, smoking and milking around all evening, and people were exiting and entering a room through the window adjacent to that side exit door. I was offered copper wire in the lobby, and another man was in the midst of having a member of his party thrown out while I was checking in. It was difficult to feel safe in and around the building with so much going on. I would wholeheartedly not recommend this hotel to anyone passing through. We cancelled the second night of our stay and found another room nearby for nearly the same price, and it was significantly better in all regards.
- 1/5
Our room had stains on lamps, beds were horrible to sleep on, looked like mold in shower, there were limited plugs in the room and the electrical was wired weird. One switch turned on and off all lights in room. Air conditioner barely worked. Will NEVER stay there agin.
- 2/5
The hotel smelled like cigarettes and people were smoking inside even though it is a non smoking hotel. Our bed sheets had holes and stains in them. The one lamp in the room did not work. The lights above the sink didn’t work. We never could get the wifi to work. There was no breakfast. Our toilet paper holder was broken. You get what you pay for I guess.
- 5/5
I had to deal with a mix up the previous week but the manager took care of it. They are always friendly and the rooms are great 👍!
- 2/5
Broken & scratched things in the room. Needs a total renovation.
- 1/5
Fire detector broken, coffee machine parts missing , holes in wall

The Rodeway Inn in Knoxville, TN was absolutely disgusting. No front desk staff available when I arrived, they asked to be telephoned if needed. The carpet in the room had clumps of hard, crusty material, old battered furniture, security lock fell off the door when we first opened the door, dirty windows and marks all over the walls. No Continental Breakfast was available as indicated in the hotel overview. Broken window with shattered glass close to the side entrance. Noisy, paper-thin walls, unable to get a good nights sleep
