Tru by Hilton Knoxville North I75

Location is great because it is off the interstate and major highway so you don't get the noise from semi's all night long. I also like the wood floors because who wants to walk on carpet that's been on the floor forever as most hotels have. Showers are also good. It's a real shower and not a deep tub that you have to step out of. I was put on the 4th floor in hope for a quiet room, however, there were a couple of boys in the room next to me. They had TV turned up to top volume watching a movie until 11:00 p.m. Parents were clueless. Not your fault, but defeated the purpose of a 4th floor room.

The room was on small size ok for one but if sharing would be difficult getting around and getting ready Didn’t like soaps

Unfortunately the guests above us were very disrespectful and loud and stomping on the floor all night. I called down stairs to the front desk and was told that they would call them. Unfortunately the noise continued well into the night. The hotel was wonderful otherwise

This property was really clean so festive we the Vols decor, staff sooooo friendly and informative. Love love the rooms, so modern. Loved the gym, couldn’t get enough of the gym! Love the ice buckets in the bottom floor with cups available, the breakfast was real nice and I love the draft beer station and the availability of snacks and drinks!!!!! Great stay, didn’t want to leave!!!!

My only complaint is the pool was too cold for my kids. This hotel is perfect for families. The gym is great. Would definitely book again

The room was clean and staff was friendly. Unfortunately the mattress seemed a little thin and not very comfortable. Also, the breakfast selection was just OK - nothing exciting.

Tru is nice and new. Breakfast is the best I have had for a hotel.several options to pick from. The only complaint I have is the rooms are really small. No where to put your suitcases

We love the whole vibe of this hotel. This was our second stay here. We didn't bother looking elsewhere! The check-in staff was kind and helpful. The room was VERY clean. The beds were a bit hard and the shower door could have used some cleaning at the bottom and the pool was NOT very heated. It was too cold to swim in it. All in all it was great and we'll be back!

The check in was great. I had a great experience with Sue on check in. Upon check out I was asked about my medical support animal and specific HIPPA questions. I offered a letter from my doctor which was declined upon checking in and when I offered it after being confronted about it upon check out, the woman decided she didn’t need it. She asked me specifically why I had the animal in front of other customers. It was rude. I offered to hand her a letter and she could read why. If this is how you do business I am never interested in returning. She then scoffed that it was a cat and not a dog. He has been specifically trained to notice changes in my behavior. It was embarrassing.

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was probably pretty normal for hotel food, nothing special, but I appreciated that I could grab something to eat before heading out. They had a good number of options. I only wish I could’ve extended my stay here as I ended up staying for another event the next day, but prices had gone up and I was stuck having to book with a subpar hotel elsewhere. Next time I’m in Knoxville, I’ll certainly try to stay here again!

We were attending a concert in Knoxville and booked the Tru hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 7pm, expecting that we would be able to check in, shower, get ready, and relax before the concert. Due to no fault of the staff, who were extremely apologetic, the entire Hilton reservation system crashed for several hours, not allowing us to check in before the event. What was supposed to be a relaxing date night, turned into us sitting in the lobby and getting changed in the public restrooms. Not enjoyable to say the least. We received a text while at the concert that our room was ready to check in around 9pm. The manager was sweet, comped us with some snacks and issued some Hilton points to our account. The room was nice and clean, although a bit sparse. The hotel itself felt safe, but the surrounding area felt a bit run down.

The room that we chose on line smelled like an animal (dog) was in the room. We moved to another room that was ok, not great but ok. This was the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel and the first time with an issue. The staff are very nice but the housekeeping has taken a turn for the worse.

Everyone here was absolutely so lovely. Every staff member we ran into offered us info on places to go or advice on how to handle the snow. They even helped brush out a path to our car and offered to dust off the snow for us. Truly so so sweet!

Exposes is the problem!! They do not send a receipt to the email provided , the hotel doesn’t give one so now I have to pay out of pocket for a company stay , it’s pretty simple logic, send receipt of stay.. and will never again stray from the simplicity offered by hilton

Check-in was smooth and simple, both ladies at the desk were very friendly. I love that they had free cookies, bottled water, tea+coffee available 24-7 especially after being on the road for so long these little touches are so appreciated. The hotel is bright and nicely decorated, all common areas were clean. Very family friendly—lobby area had children’s books, games, and even a pool table! Played a couple of games with my kids and husband before we called it a night. The room is cozy and efficient-even has a small desk. Bathroom was bright and spacious and I love that all soaps/shampoos are provided. There is an iron and ironing board, mini fridge and alarm clock too. Breakfast was great, another much appreciated feature. Every hotel personnel we came across was friendly and attentive. Restroom in lobby area was clean and provided feminine hygiene products for free which is very thoughtful. Don’t hesitate to stay here I highly recommend! Will be back next time we are passing through.

She made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. People like her are the reason guests come back. Even though our stay was short, I genuinely wished we had more time. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

The staff was very polite all weekend and had fun activities going on for Halloween for the kids staying at the hotel. Evrything was very clean and proximity to downtown was great! Just a quick 5-7 min drive. The rooms do echo and we could hear the room above us when walking around, but could have beebecause it was super late at night so no one was awake. Overall, really nice hotel!

Clean room. The bed was hard to get in and out of. I'm 5'2" I had to get on the board base to get to the matress. Nice room for a business person desk and chair but no comfortable chair to watch tv. Loved that the bathroom had a nite lite. Also the no slip shower floor was very nice. For an older person it was hard to squeeze the product bottles but the soap and lotion wete very nice. The towels and wash cloth very plush. This is set up to be a very family friendly hotel. I wanted a quieter, weary traveler vib. Your staff were perfect. Oh and I don't know what the breakfast meat was but it wasn't meat.

This has become our go-to place to stay when visiting the University of Tennessee. It's clean, quiet and the staff is amazing! Love that they have a laundry facility to help our college kiddo out!

Gabby at check in was wonderful. She was very helpful and suggested places to eat. She encouraged me to join the rewards program which I did. The Hotel looks nice and offered many amenities such as free coffee, fruit and cookies. They have wonderful soaps and lotions and plenty of towels. The sheets were clean and white. They offered nice channels such as HBO. CONS: The floor was sticky in the room and the toilet base on the sides had hair and dust. The biggest problem was at 4 am I get up to use the bathroom and there was a large female German roach on the sink. I killed it and saw it had eggs. I immediately woke my husband, and we unpacked everything and repacked it to make sure no roaches climbed into our bags. We saw a second roach on the wall run behind the bench. We went down to tell the desk and Hayden was not too concerned or surprised, said to email a picture to the desk manager and he could not comp my room but they probably would. He asked if were checking out or wanted breakfast. Umm no thank you. So we got up at the crack of dawn and hurriedly left when we planned on sleeping in and enjoying a breakfast. I emailed the picture to management and have yet to hear from them or corporate. I am very disappointed and angry that I am being dismissed. I guess they don't need my patronage. Tru looked like a beautiful princess but ended up being a pig with lipstick on.

Right off I-75 so I didn’t lose time or miles to finish my trip. Gas and restaurants right there for dinner and breakfast was included in my stay. I felt safe, the property was nice, clean, bright and my room was comfortable. Not mention the price was right. Worth every penny.

The room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay.

Staff was nice. Room was good, but the toilet float kept sticking and the A/C rattled a great deal.

My wife and I cannot say enough about how great our stay was. We needed a little getaway to celebrate our pregnancy and Tru made it all that much better.

I was constantly pleasantly surprised at all the little things they had, like a pool table in the lobby, neatly organized buckets by the ice machine, water refill station. Breakfast was neatly organized and offered little things I’ve never seen offered before, like a toppings bar. They also offer complimentary hot cocoa and tea. Really neatly thought out and clean food area and dispensers. The little details do it for me. The designer for the hotel did such a great job. All their designs are well thought out, aesthetically pleasing and on brand while being fun and unique. The first hotel that I actually felt I knew exactly where I was going at all times. Great layout and way finding signs. Their placement of design elements with informative nuggets was genius. Loved all the little help circles. ALSO when I walked in, the TV screen had a welcome screen on with my name on it.

Front desk friendly, cleanliness

We enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was the bed was pretty stiff. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and staff was pleasant.

Hotel was very nice. It almost reminded me of a non-Disney Pop Century. Free water bottles, free cookies, great lobby.

The staff at this property went above and beyond to assist my hearing impaired husband access the back of the TV to attach his streaming device for his hearing implants so that he can hear the TV. This was truly appreciated and the guys seemed very interested in learning what to do in case they need to help someone else in this situation.

All around good experience. Liked the amenities and size of room. Really enjoyed the shower. Nice vibes.

So so clean and middle of the night desk person was so friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with children and the stay was seamless.

Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was good enough for a quick start to the day. They had a decent selection, including an automatic pancake maker, which was fun, though I’m more of a waffle person myself. The indoor pool was a nice bonus too. Overall, it’s a solid option for a short stay—clean, convenient, and with the essentials to get you going.

Front Desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The check in and checkout process was smooth and easy and our room was clean and fully stocked. I would stay here again next time I’m in Knoxville.

Wonderful experience, we arrived after midnight and was great customer service! Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh! Multiple workers around helping and keeping everything stocked and clean.
