The staff was rude at check in. Parts of the ceiling was missing in several locations. There was a worn down pull out couch in the elevator area on the second floor. There was no soap dish for the soap. There was no toilet paper holder for the toilet paper.

Room smelt musty with a slight smoke odor, we are not smokers. Upon check in no clerk at counter only a sign stating helping a guest please wait while child, apparently clerk’s daughter loudly playing on a tablet. Carpet in room visibly fraying, grime built up in lamp crevices, lock on side entrance door did not work so remained unlocked 24hrs, had to use side entrance to access elevator unless you could navigate stairs from lobby to 1st floor hall way, liquid substance spilt on elevator floor notified staff over an hour later still there readdressed with staff as we left, bacon tasted like burnt grease, only white bread no other bread choices, no fresh fruit, minimal choices that were not refilled in a timely manner, food crumps on hallway carpets which were also heavily stained, sofa in common area near elevator was heavily stained and had marker drawing on side would not recommend nor will we return.

I did misunderstand and thought breakfast was until 10:30A .. but still believe monitoring guest load and items is important. I would recommend and stay again. And a microwave in the rooms :)

Nice Area Pool temp was a little cool indoors. The beds set high from the floor. Furniture and carpet throughout was stained. A rug going to the pool area was curled up , which made a trip hazard.

TOO MUCH OUTSIDE NOISE

Food from a previous guest was left in the refrigerator and I have no idea for how long. Opened the refrigerator door and it caused me to gag. No coffee maker. Manager had to track one down for us. No microwave. If you wanted to heat something up, you had to get dressed and go to the lobby. Sheets seemed clean, but the blanket had make-up stains on it. Requested maid service and never got it. They didn't even collect the trash. Had an indoor pool. It seemed to be in disrepair and was closed. No mention of it when I checked in. Had a room for handicapped and you had to use an alternate hallway for a RAMP to get to the FIRST floor room. When I opened the door to that hallway, it was dark and it reeked. The smell was a cross between sex and microwave popcorn. They say they had a continental breakfast but there was no way i would trust it. Couldn't get a signal on the TV the first night there. Talked to the manager on duty and all he said was he would tell the manager tomorrow. No talk of a discount or another room. If this is a "Best" Western, I'd hate to see the worst!

Breakfast was slim. Pool was closed which was the whole reason we booked there was for the indoor pool. Beds are very firm and bring your own pillows. Location was great hotel itself was ok. Showers were the best hotel showers ive ever had besides the handicap bar i kept elbowing.

Our first room had mold on the ceiling and walls. We were given a new room. The new room had a pillowcase on the bed full of dirty linens - I assume from the room being cleaned. It was late so we went with it. In the morning there were several roaches crawling in the sink.

It took us 25 mins to get checked in. No one was at the counter, had maintenance man try and find someone and couldn’t. Called the phone number listed annd NO ANSWER. After finally getting checked in, our shower had hair stuck on the wall. The shower was a slow drain so you stood in water as you showered.

Not my favorite. Heavy mildew smell in shower, likely from the shower curtains…..

Doors to building locks were broke so anyone can get in. There were blood spots on the carpet. This was a quick stop to sleep during travel. We should have chosen somewhere else

Not enough employees. Poor desk clerk had to handle everything himself. Meant I had to plunge my own toilet (which clogged easily). Many repairs are needed i.e. crack in the sink, broken floor tiles, door wouldn't close on it’s own, outside doors open to public/key card entry into building broken, etc. Needs to be invested in. Otherwise, decent stay.

We spoke to the front desk who gave us a second room. This room also had urine stained sheets. At this point the manager came to the room and advised there was nothing he could do, we'd have to find a new hotel as there was nothing he could do, he had no more rooms. After explaining we drove almost 10 hrs during spring break there and some back and forth, he agreed to change both beds himself and he did. However this was a very unprofessional way to start our trip and disappointing we had to debate with him.

Nice room and hotel but no microwave in any of the rooms have to use the lobby one. Not all rooms hv a balcony either.1 major cool part is the pool is open 24/7 and they hv a fire pit in the front of the hotel. Overall, I like this hotel and will return in a balcony room.

The rooms carpet was fraying by the edge of the vinyl flooring. The bathtub had rust spots. The blinds on all three windows were broken. I have pictures of all of these complaints. The staff told me that every room is booked and everyone has checked in. Then twenty minutes later he called me and told me there was a cancellation and a room was available. How could that be if everyone was checked in. He only did this because I asked for the manager or when the manager was going to be there.

A/C worked well for us. Rooms and rest of property pretty clean. I wished they had a microwave in the rooms like most places do, but they did have one in the lobby at least. Lots of local activities.

The staff member I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The was some construction on the 3rd floor, but it wasn't awful. The cleaning staff had a great voice as he was singing while he was working! The 24 hour pool was great!

I only found one ice maker on the first floor and there was an open pipe behind it so it stunk like sewage. Also we had a room facing the highway and it was so loud at night and I slept with ear plugs in and I could still hear the highway. The price was right though.

Room was pretty good. We stopped in due to a snow storm because they had a heated pool. The door leading outside had a hold in it letting in cold air and the room was foggy from the humidity, but otherwise was great. They ran out of many food items during breakfast but there was a snow storm so I'm sure that affected things. Glad to have had a place to stay during the storm.

Found a bug in the bathroom. I had to get the off duty worker to check us out because the on duty guy was no where to be found.

This is a very nice hotel. The only thing i was displeased about was that i had left a personal item in the room. Very personal and a gift from a loved one. And someone cleaning the room thought it was ok to not take it to lost and found so that the owner of the item could be contacted. I understand that I should not have forgotten it, but they should not have taken it or thrown it out.

The front desk clerks were awesome. I had made a mistake on the date when booking my room through Expedia and Darryl helped me correct this problem. I ended up staying 4 nights there. Darryl is AWESOME! He was always helpful, smiling, friendly and a pleasure to work with. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the other front desk clerk Kevin one night. He was awesome too! Both of these young men are an asset to this business. Clean rooms.

The hotel is conveniently off I-40 with many food options nearby. Our room was clean fully stocked with towels and convenient toiletries. It was a quiet stay which was appreciated and the continental breakfast had many options. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The rooms were large, clean, and well stocked. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast if in a hurry. Great proximity to nearby Dollywood, pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg. Would definitely book here again.

I had reservations for 3 nights. When I checked in I waxs told there was no housekeeping, but if I needed anything to let them know. There was only one bath towel in the room. When I asked for more towels I was told they were at the front desk. I asked to have my trash picked up because there was leftover chicken in the trash. They told me to put it in the hall and someone would pick it up. I guess theyre not worried about roaches or ants. Breakfast was subpar, at best.

Great value for the price. Just needed a place to say for a night. Would recommend and stay at an again.

Veteran with high standards here and I’ve been coming to the area for years now for heavy hiking in the mountains and work. This hotel easily is the nicest and friendliest in town. The price for the room I couldn’t believe and especially on short notice. Well done! Easy-ish parking in the back for you blue collar workers with trailers attached on the road.

Enjoyed the outside space (balcony); added much to my enjoyment. Space was clean except for some smeary windows and glass doors. Most of all....the front desk staff could make such a difference by being a little more pleasant.

The property was in a noisy area and was not well maintained. The access door to the building near the elevator was broken. The sheets did not smell fresh. The bathtub had a stain around the drain and looked as if they don’t clean it properly with hospital grade products. There was a dirty sock behind the tv stand which tells me the quality of cleaning service they provide in the room. For the price that I paid I expected a clean room.

Nice price for an overnight stay

Rented the room for travel and cooler weather to sit around the fire. Day shift said we could turn it on when we wanted. I went and wiped down all the outdoor furniture due to it being wet and when I come back, night shift says it doesn't work when the manager says it did. Ridiculous

2. Motel did not have a pleasant smell. 3. Room appeared to be clean but the bed looked like it had been made by a two year old. Mold was present in the bathroom. 4. Pool was disgusting. Absolutely no chlorine in the pool. Green algae present all way around pool. 1000 legged worms swimming in pool. Water was slimy. Smelled like pond water. 5. Breakfast was not good. Very little to choose from. Eggs were full of water. Waffle mix was watery. Breakfast attendant was extremely rude to the guests. I personally saw 3 guests ask her questions about where certain things were or if they had certain items and this person did not acknowledge them at all and gave them a rude look. 5. When trying to check out. Once again no one present at the counter. This was at around 8:45 when many people are trying to check out. I waited around 10 minutes and no one showed up. The breakfast attendant walked by around 3-5 times. Gave me a dirty look and didn’t even ask if I needed help. Finally a young man showed up and asked what I wanted not exactly sure if that was his exact words but close. I told him I wanted to check out. He was very rude and didn’t ask about my stay. No thank you at all.

We have stayed at this hotel before but it is going down hill fast. Lobby area not appealing. Glass on doors and windows so dirty. Entrance to rooms nasty hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Area where elevator is needs a great deal of attention. Breakfast bar was not clean and not stocked had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Front desk clerk was not available, so just left. Hotel wasn’t a clean feeling anywhere. Needs many many upgrades. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Had to freeze or burn up. Key pad for entering side door broke no security for anyone entering. Towels on floor around ice machine. Maintenance needed in several areas. There just isn’t any management or owner just doesn’t care. Either way we will not be staying again. Sad sad sad!!

The room wasn't totally filthy, but it wasnt clean. Dirt, hair, and food crumbs were all around the corners and edges of the room, and really bad behind the furniture. Large hair clump in the shower drain. The common areas and the pool were pretty run down and in need of some cleaning and paint. The linens and towels were clean and the beds were adequate.

The room was acceptable but the area is very noisy because of major roads nearby that sound like race tracks. Staff were good.

Beds were full sized not queen, hard as a rock, emptied the dumpster at 4am so loud it woke me up, light came in from the highway, pool was FREEZING COLD INSIDE, out of almost everything at breakfast and it was before 9am, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere

Key card did not work. Took way too long to reprogram. Breakfast was not replenished enough to make it through the entire designated time. Since I checked in late at night I asked about it to ensure that there would be items available.

This was an amazingly spacious room. Everything was clean and the breakfast was great; waffles, juices, yogurts, breakfast meats like bacon and sausage, eggs, etc.

It was okay… pictures were a bit deceiving as the whole place looks like it hasn’t had a deep clean in years. The tiles in our room were sticky and there was mold in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and the location was great - it just feels like the whole building had a slightly dirty feel to it, which I didn’t love. I expected more out of a Best Western, but I guess that’s what we get for $80 a night!

Well let’s start by saying it wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed but definitely wasn’t the best place by a long shot. It’s way overpriced for what you get. Looks like they’ve tried to do some updating in the rooms. Our remote to the TVs didn’t work, hand prints on the headboard, the door from the outside wasn’t locked so anyone could get inside without going through the lobby and the common areas were dirty. It works in a pinch I guess but that’s about it.

This property is in need of updating. Hallway carpet has stains and tears. The bed was comfortable. The staff was good. It's right across from Bucee's and we just needed something close to the highway for an overnight sleep. I was told that it was a non-smoking hotel but our room had definitely been smoked in.

We usually stay at more $$ hotels HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised! This was a wonderful one night stay. We had been driving for 12 hours at this point or so, and it was the best night stay during our trip. We will definitely be staying here again!

After checking in we noticed our remote in room was broke. Then we fixed the air because the unit said 68 degrees so we set it on 66. The thermostat kept going back to 68 and not cooling down. I called the front desk and he told me what to do and the unit still did not work. When went to eat breakfast, the guest had to keep going to front desk and asking for things because the food was running out and no one was restocking. I asked the front fesk for some eggs and she rolled her eyes. The room also had hair balls on the floor and sidnt not look like the pictures.

Accommodating staff. Room was clean and well presented. Needed more hangers as only two were provided. Bathroom was nice but needed a shelf/trays for the soap and shampoo. Pillows could’ve been larger. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good rates at a site that's easily accessible from the interstate. Having a balcony was a nice surprise, though my view was pretty much just the buc-ee's sign.

Checked into our room and my husband always does a check for bed bugs. While the room was clear for that, the beds hadn’t been cleaned underneath, the floors had not been mopped, light fixtures, appliances, and tub were dirty. When informing the front desk, they said we could talk to the manager tomorrow. No offer to clean the room again or move to other room was offered.Completely unacceptable.

The carpets in the hallways were awful, stains everywhere! The exterior was fine, and appeared to have been updated somewhat recently. The interior needs a lot of work. It should also be noted that the cleaning staff needs some adjustment too as there was no toiletries including paper in our bathroom. Would assume that would be basic thing to check but here we are.

Stayed a total of 11 hours. Dimly lit room with one window facing a rocky ledge. Bed linens and pillows low quality. Room had a very odd smell. Entire place is run down. Carpets in room and hallways are awful. Complimentary breakfast was bad.

Indifferent staff who barely acknowledge you and do not even welcome you as you arrive. Absolutely filthy property carpet/floors and surfaces from lobby, halls, elevator, rooms and dining area. Breakfast was awful with overcooked burnt eggs, bacon was in a pool of grease, brown oranges and the other option was cereal or grits. This was my worst stay at a BW.

Our room was not clean. The shower had hair still in it. There was holes in the walls and tags still in the bathroom floor from the people before us. The mirror was smudged in the room.

The staff was rude and condescending. The hotel is in dire need of remodeling. i.e. carpets torn, walls scratched, furniture damaged. I was extremely disappointed in my experience at this hotel.
