Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kodak East - Sevierville by IHG

Elevators were broken. I am handicapped. Had to leave and find other accomodations after riding for 9 hours.

Staff was very helpfull. Property was clean and breakfast was good.

Elevator not working when i booked and was asked to book on another hotel. Our room is in the 4th floor. Dragging luggage and children into stairs is not a joke.

Everything was nice and as expected. It was comfortable for a one night stay.

The biggest issue we faced was that their one elevator was out when we arrived. They did offer to refund the reservation as they could not get us a room lower than the third floor and we had huge suitcases. But it was late and we didn’t know is we could get in the one hotel that was close by. If it had not been for this we would have rated our stay much higher. The room and hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was above average and the fitness room was great.

The property was clean. The only negative thing I have to say about the cleanliness was that bottles in the shower. Some of them were old and nasty looking but besides that it was very clean. The staff was very nice. First of all, my family had an emergency. The hotel and booking.com made it impossible to cancel or reschedule without a big fee. I spent days fighting with them and got nothing resolved. The hotel blamed booking and booking blamed the hotel. The manager at the hotel, Randy Parker, was very rude to me when I was trying to address this issue. The other staff that managed the front desk was very nice and very accommodating. I didn’t see the manger in person unfortunately. The icing on the cake was the hotel elevator quit working Sunday morning and never got fixed, which happens and wasn’t a huge deal. But we were on the 4th floor with two littles… so it wasn’t very relaxing.

The staff was amazing. I’ve stayed at many different hotels in the past few years, and they were some of the best. Parking was awful. Staff was helpful in directing us on how to park along the access road, but it was a nightly issue to find parking. The walls were not very sound proof. We could hear the family next door to us having a conversation at normal volume. The elevator broke down on the last day.

Staff was excellent! Our 2nd evening we arrived back exhausted, and learned the elevator was broken. Since my mother is wheelchair-bound, our 2nd floor handicap room was not accessible. So they quickly & easily moved us to a 1st floor room. Very grateful for the flexibility & accomodations!

The property was absolutely wonderful. The convenience of everything was perfect. Breakfast was always great. The ladies that made the breakfast were fantastic. They were so helpful. The people working at the front desk were all so friendly and welcoming. We just enjoyed the stay all together. There is nothing that could be done to make our stay more perfect. The property and staff are both fantastic!

It was so clean. All staff were very nice. We go from Illinois to North Carolina this is a good halfway point. This will definitely be our stop each time. Location was great. Close resturants were very good also.

Wish the bathroom had an exhaust fan in it. Everything else was great.

The cleaning crew didn’t clean our room, didn’t change the bedding for 4 days didn’t make our beds the only thing they changed was the bathroom at least.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The room and whole facility was clean. The staff was helpful. In particular, Kathy did a FANTASTIC job with caring for the breakfast area. I could see how much she was invested in making sure the food was available and the whole area was clean. I was deeply impressed with this Holiday inn Express and will be staying here again in the future!

Clean bright room with comfortable bed and soft linens and pillows. Nice large shower. The breakfast had a variety of choices and good was good. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that could make it better would be to have a hot tub available :)

Clean room and easy check in!!

The staff was great! From check in through giving helpful hints on places to go, best routes to get there, and overall making us feel at home, this stay cemented us staying at this location going forward. We are in this area 1 to 2 times every year. The decision on where to stay is already made!!

But, whomever designed these rooms. Why is the soap locked on the wall 3 steps away from the sink? I have a broken foot, and thos 3 steps are alot in crutches. Also , dear corporate, why were the keycards failed? Can yougo back to normal keys? You're very lucky you have a good staff that got everyone in the rooms ok.

There was an issue with check-in and staff were very courteous, professional, and communicative as they resolved the issue. The room and common spaces were clean, breakfast was good, and it was a very pleasant stay.

Clean room, tv stopped working 10:30 pm after just returning to our room and there were no other rooms available, the manager found another tv and personally swapped them out for us, he went above and beyond my expectations resolving that issue. Breakfast was good, pool was clean. Great time

Had a emergency situation come up and had to cancel. Hotel offered no refund or reschedule date. Clerk at the front desk refused to give her name and almost sounded like she was amused at my situation of having to cancel and get no refund. I usually stay here 3-4 times a year but no more.

Great stay. Issues with the tv were fixed by us (had to change input and box had been turned off). WiFi never successfully connected. But room was great and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Room was right next to the elevator however never heard a sound all night

This was a special trip to celebrate my recent retirement. Facility was nice and clean and reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

It was very nice. Plenty of towels. Loved that the bathrooms had shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower as well as lotion. Shower was nice and slept well in the beds. Also, loved sunshade for window in the morning and that fridge has a freezer even though it tapped all night

The tub had no bench or chair plus no detachable shower head. The toilet was close to the floor and hard to stand from without any bars to pull yourself up.

I asked for a nice clean and quiet room . .They put me on the traffic side of interstate 40 . Traffic all night also the room next to us they were fighting slamming door yelling ect Two weeks ago we stayed in Holiday day inn express Morristown tn it was worse . A total waste of 500.00 dollars 👎😡

Came in volleyball tournament wasn’t far from restaurants, shopping, and tournament site.

It was an overall good stay. We had a couple cleanliness issues in our room like there was glitter and little black marks that kinda looked like ash on one of our beds. And there was beef jerky on the floor when we didn’t have beef jerky. Other than that it was good.

Emily at the front desk on nights could not have been more inviting. It was refreshing to meet someone who seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The design of the room - little touches like the coat hooks & shelf - were impressive. Bathroom walk in shower was not just functional - but looked amazing. Great mattresses & 4 pillows per bed made an impression. We did not have our room serviced - but were thrilled to see fresh towels left by our door!

Only complaints are for an accessible room the door is very heavy and hard to open, and the lighting in the bathroom is such that it comes from behind so you are in shadow when using the mirror. Would be terrible for a woman to use for makeup

Excellent location for things to do. Hotel gym was my only complaint. Both treadmills were broken and it was a little tiny. I was still able to get a workout in so not a dealbreaker.

I have stayed at this hotel probably 20 times over the years and it just keeps going down hill. They have been doing construction on this gotel for 3 years and are still going. This limits parking because all of the storage trailers are parked out in the parking lot. When I got there, I had to go find someone to check me in. When I checked in I was told the elevator was out and I was on the top floor so I'd have to pack my stuff up, not a huge deal, but later after I was told it was fixed I got stuck in it and finally it let me out in the laundry room on the first floor where I then had to find my way out to the lobby. When I found my way out the attendant acted mad that I was in the laundry room to begin with and acted like he didnt care that I just was trapped in the elevator. The air unit in my room sounded like a tractor trailer cranking up every time it came on. Lastly about midnight a bus full of people rolled in and the entire hotel sounded like a frat party for about an hour. Long story short, I slept next to none and this will be my last stay there for awhile until they get all of that mess sorted out.
