I could not stay at the facility. The area was dangerous, with the smell of Marijuana heavy inside and outside of the property, and homeless dwelling in the parking lot. The hotel room door would not close securely, nor did it have an additional deadbolt or security chain. The windows would not open, nor were there screens and I believe I received a contact high. The filth could also not be ignored, it was everywhere. The bed was partially made, with the promise of bedbugs and a picture hanging precariously above one bed. There was mold, mildew, and another questionable residue visible on every bathroom surface, the TV screen, the mirrors, etc. The bathroom tiles were in such disrepair that a severe Crack stretched from corner to corner. I was in fear for me and my mother's safety due to the environment and unsanitary conditions. I have video evidence. Everything.

It was filthy when I requested a blanket they brought me a thin cover and at night the weather temperatures were in this single digits. I went and bought a blanket myself.

Jetted tub fit 2 adults comfortably and the water was HOT! Which is amazing in rm 50. Could have been cleaned better. I had to wipe down all end tables. Clean the jetted tub and bathroom.

Room had roaches people were outside yelling all night as i sat in my car just relaxing two police came on the property asked me all my information and then ran my id very uncomfortable very disgusting i checked out early because it was unbearable the owner was nice and tried to explain but it was very scary

The room was very dirty and no lock on door. Huge amount of dust and dirt on floors. Pillows were in very sad shape and soap was very small. Did not feel safe and some schetchy people hanging around the buildings.

There was dog hair under the blanket on the top sheet. So I slept with no sheet and there was chocolate on top of the shower. Other than that, it was a great stay

Broken furniture, dents in door, room needs paining and general maintenance seems to be lacking.

Having the trash dump be the first thing we see when driving to the rooms. Debris in front of room doors. A few towels had stains. Fly in the microwave.

The heat took a while on the first day. The heat got stuck on the last two days at 63 degrees when it could have been at 85 degrees.

The place was in pretty rough shape. Very minimal amenities. The heat worked well.

This motel is in terrible condition. No ice. No coffee. Holes in the bedspread that didnt fit bed and holes in the drapes that didnt fit and wouldn't close.

Not as clean as I liked it I actually went in and cleaned floors tub and a couple other things. Before getting comfortable. But they were very nice and yes it was quiet. The drapes wouldn’t close. But all in all I had a nice stay..

Rooms were big, a/c worked great, fridge and microwave made it convenient for late night snacks.

The staff was excellent and catered to my needs .

The motel rooms are no frills, but they’re clean and I feel safe here as a woman alone. The people who work here are wonderful.

Being a woman staying alone in a hotel room already has enough dangers without staff members entering rooms for who only know what he was hoping for.

The staff is excellent, and the people who stay here are very friendly and helpful!

Con--was there was some on and off noise at times. I was informed by the staff. That their ice machine was out of order. This being an inconvenience in the summer.

Room itself was awkward and rough -- no carpeting, tiny tv, almost no decor, exposed power strip & cords. Neither bedside lamp worked (they were plugged in & had lightbulbs). Bathroom is what is compelling me to write this review, though. Two tiny bars of soap the size of silver dollars and two tiny packets of shampoo. No separate hand soap, no plastic cups for water, no bathmat towel. Toilet paper dispenser was broken with one half missing from the wall, half-used TP was propped on top of it. Dirty washcloth from prior guest or housekeeping hanging on shower bar. The bathroom fan and bathroom heat did not work. And, the grand finale: fruit flies, both in the bathroom and in the room. So yeah, for the price point, I'm sure I could've gotten a better & cleaner room almost anywhere else. FYI, this is only maybe the 2nd or 3rd time I have ever written an online review, of anything.

No padlock for the door but the front desk clerk was very nice and my room was comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again.

The stafff was beyond rude and our jacuzzi suite had no hot water for our entire stay. We spoke with staff multiple times and there was never a resolution. At checkout I requested a refund and was told I could get $30 and If I didn’t take it I got nothing . He then proceeded to tell men idc call the cops , trump or Obama and then refused to refund anything

It is peaceful and private here. They are giving me special treatment in a handful of ways just for being a decent guest. The best part of staying here is definitely the staff, including the manager and the owner.

Didn’t have clean blankets room was dirty and when we asked for be blanket that I was willing to change I was told they only change them once a month that’s disgusting

The electrical system on this property was dangerous. Plugs and lights were not working. The hotel would not give us our money back after we left. No one should make a reservation there, and Expedia ought to feel embarrassed about listing it.

I like the fact there was a hot tub in the room and it was smoking room. Very spacious. I’ll definitely would book again

They gave someone a key card to my room and that person enter my room when I was sleep I confronted the main desk about giving someone the key card that wasn't on the reservation they asked me to leave I refuse to leave because I paid for the room and then they had me arrested for trespassing

Property is currently under investigation, and myself and girlfriend were harassed by local police. Not a good experience and couldn’t even finish stay, had to change reservations

We were traveling long way. Just needed to spend the night. This is a perfect place just to spend the night.

We arrived very late, the employe was nice but we had booked 2 beds and were stuck sleeping in a king bed ( was there with a friend ) called back the reception but they said it was the only room left available, i don’t think it was true

Difficult to find since the name changed 10 months ago and is now called Colonie Inn NOT Golden Circle. The lobby was not welcoming but the woman at the desk was accommodating. The room could have been cleaner. No ice bucket or cups of any kind. Had to go to the lobby to get ice.The place is old and somewhat run down. The price was good.

I have rented a Jacuzzi room from this hotel every year twice a year and this year I rented it and the room was disgusting. It was dirty. There were limited towels for Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was small. The drain didn’t even work so you had to put a washcloth in it so the water didn’t drain out the curtains didn’t even fit correctly. We had to pin them closed Was hard as the comforter had multiple burns in it and holes. There was a half a roll of toilet paper and to replace it if any was needed no towel to lay on the floor for the shower. It was disgusting. The lights was so disappointed I will never use this facility again , since it’s been sold to a new owner, it’s been terrible. The last two times I booked and went very very disappointed.

No access to TV, no water pressure, no toilet paper, no garbage cans, whacco neighbors, unsettling clientele.

Everything went well right up until I fell getting out of the shower stall. The office has no idea what to do. No report, no help. I've now been out of work for a week and looks like it's not over yet.

Cops were called several times. Room was dirty, fighting drug addicts everywhere.

The room smelled musty, no outlets except the extension cord, someone else’s clothes hanging in the shower. There was a door leading outside which was permanently open, and the privacy lock was damaged. Also there was difficulty locating my reservation and I did not get the room I booked. This may have been because I booked through Expedia.

I had not toilet paper in the room, and the sheets looked dirty, so I had to request they be changed. Even so, the room had bugs in it, mold, and there appeared to be food stains splattered on the mattress and the wall. The carpet was so dirty I had to keep my shoes on, because my feet turned black. I could not stay in the room a second night. It was too disgusting. I checked our early. They refused to refund me for the night I did not stay.

For my children. As much as would like to say sleeping in the car would have been better I sprayed the beds down wouldn’t be getting in until close to the time their lobby closed. The room they showed was a little outdated but not too shabby. I really just need a place for a good nights rest and safe as I just left my abusive husband. So you could imagine my horror when I arrived to this nightmare. Not only that I specifically booked a no smoking room and it clearly had been smoked in. And the rooms next to it were being smoked in. My child has asthma and my other one has allergies. I don’t smoke. I do see some people end up with the room they are supposed too and it’s clean. Seems like it’s hit or miss I think if you book

New owner, room not clean, less towels for a jacuzzi room, bed uncomfortable. Floor dirty. I go here twice a year and I like the closeness to home due to an ill parent but as much as I spend and go there it should be cleaner and more inviting

I booked 4 nights for my tenants, they told me they had to leave early because they did not feel safe around the property and that the property conditions were unsanitary

When I check in my room was not cleaned, there were no sheet on the bed, toilet was gross, there were dirty qtips in the sink drain. the room smelled like an ash tray. and When I went to get the fitted sheet, it was the wrong size, and I didn't get the pillow cases until the 2nd night.

The room was very dirty when I told the front desk he came up looked around and said that it’s been cleaned I was not going to fight with him but let’s just say I will not be going here again and advise others to just go down the street to a better hotel

I was disappointed by the dirty room and conditions of furniture. Even though the room was given as a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room and cigarette burn holes in the bedspreads.

Note: I did get some shady vides upon arriving. This looks more of a place where regulars stay long-term. There were some people screaming on several occasions throughout the night in the room above me. However, as a solo woman, I did not feel unsafe in the comfort of my room.

Dated, and has seen a lot of traffic over the years. Bed was clean and comfortable. Water in the shower was hot and with good pressure towels were clean. Bathroom was clean. I would stay again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The only issues were the inability to control the heat in your room due to the centralized heating and the smell of cigarette smoke that came through the vent from outside.

The first room I was assigned someone had pissed the bed the second room the refrigerator didn't work. Rugs needed vacuuming.

The staff even switched our reservation to a down stairs room because we are disabled without extra charge.

Smells bad. Comforter had lots of stains clearly not washed in a long time. No one vacuumed carpet was very dirty.

It is a budget location so it is on the older side. I was able to check in early but I did call ahead. Room smelled like cigarettes but I should have checked off non smoking room . Did not realize that places still allow smoking in rooms.

Hotel was as expected. Dated but that’s fine. Staff was polite, all basics were provided for. Breakfast is a nice benefit.

I stayed in a handicap room. The walk-in shower had mold in the corners between the walls and floor. Bathroom sink did not leak but had huge cracks in the bowl. Air conditioning motor was loud and noisy, waking me up from sleep. I raised the temperature on the thermostat three degrees so it would not come on again. Did not see any hot food at the free breakfast. Regardless, there was a sign saying breakfast was $3 for single room occupants. I went to Starbucks.

For the cost and location the Inn was serviceable.

I needed a cheap place to stay over night. This place is not a 5 star Hotel with a spa and concierge service, but your not paying for that either. It's just a cheap night's stay. The owner was nice and I had no problems.

I really liked the jacuzzi and how well it worked. The room was nice and big as well!
