Took 40 minutes past check in time for room to be cleaned and ready. Limited English. Microwave barely worked. No elevator.
- 4/5
I’ve stayed here many times and it’s a good resource especially if you’re going to the airport. Microtel rooms are small, hence the name. This property is well maintained for the most part. There are few accommodations for those with disabilities. Front door is a double pull, pull exercise and there is NO ELEVATOR, something I always seem to forget until I’m here. The halls are long and carpeted which make pulling luggage tedious or problematic. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly.
- 3/5
Staff was nice, no elevator, rooms were old and some rips in the bedding.
- 2/5
Average for the location. And no shuttle to airport.
- 3.5/5
Location was close access to the highway. Some outlets were loose.
- 5/5
I had a very late arrival. But the staff person was readily available and welcoming.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean however the mirror that was glued to the wall above the head board had been removed and the glue used to hold it in place was left on the wall. It appears that is was liquid nails bonding glue that dried extremely hard and had a razor sharp edge! In the middle of the night as I reached to adjust my pillow I sliced my finger open on the glue!

Nice and clean, great shower and comfortable beds

It a very quiet convenient, friendly people. Not so modern and less breakfasts choice.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service, kind and a good price. I stayed intermittently for work over the last 2 1/2 years. The rooms are clean, comfortable. Parking is well lit and is safe. I felt like I was staying with friends and family. I definitely recommend staying there.

The room just wasn't clean. Stains on couch and chairs. It was a "nonsmoking room" But the people in the next room were smoking so much weed we had to be moved, The manager was helpful in this regard but it left a bad impression and Id never go back.
- 3/5
The most important: No elevator, and yes it has just two stories but this was important for seniors even if they are just 10 stairs steps.
- 5/5
Stayed here for one night. Solo female. Everything was very clean. Hotel is on a dead end drive and just off the highway exit. Tons of shopping around. Felt very safe. Bed was very comfortable and I especially loved the window seat! Stayed in a basic room with one queen bed. No fridge or microwave. Roku TV so you can stream any services you have accounts with. Will definitely stay here again if ever needed.
- 3/5
Rooms do not have coffee makers, the free breakfast is devoid of protein, and the fitness center out of order. That said, the rooms are adequate if you are out and about all day needing only a place to shower and sleep, the hotel is in a convenient location, at moderate cost.

The only good thing about this place is the very good location. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was dirty, noisy, dusty, and far too expensive for the quality offered. The building facade seriously needs restoration, and the toilets and common areas need much better cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, very disappointing experience. One star is more than enough.
- 1/5
The room was clean but nothing additional as far as amenities.
- 3/5
Nice property. The only negative is that there was no hand soap in the washroom.
- 5/5
Everything was clean & efficient. Breakfast was very minimal but great stay otherwise.
- 3/5
Everything was fine at the hotel as far as room, parking, breakfast. It’s inexpensive and I don’t set the bar high. However I think people live there and are very noisy and you can everything if your downstairs , loud thumps and noises all night long. Don’t think I’m going to stay here again .
- 2/5
Breakfast was poor with old fruit. Staff was fair. We had two rooms one was decent the other has spots on the mattress and under sheet that could of been spots from bed bugs or old faded blood. They did give us another room that was ok. No ammenities other than breakfast, not even an elevator. Window screen on room was not in correctly and hung out part way but not on first floor so didnt complain.

Very high quality for a budget hotel: safe, clean, bright, well-maintained rooms, quality beds, nice breakfast offerings. An excellent choice all around.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom tub did not have a good stopper to keep the water in. Also there were some lite stain on the window couch. Needs to be deep cleaned and carpets.
- 4/5
Everything was fine but I did not realize there was no fridge until after I bought things that needed one.
- 2/5
The room was in poor condition and clearly not well maintained. There were stains on the sheets and on the window bench, the blinds were broken, and there was visible mold on the ceiling. I also found hair on both the sheets and the towels, which made it feel like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned over time. To make matters worse, the door’s deadbolt was loose and appeared to be falling off, which raised safety concerns.
- 4/5
The lady at front desk was very nice and helpful, the only downside was the breakfast, only baked sweets, yogurt, bananas, not eggs to call it a breakfast but at least hold u for a bit while u find breakfast out there

I've stayed here before, and that informed my decision to stay here again when I was here on business. The rooms are clean, and there are good amenities.

The room was very clean, the personnel was nice. The hotel is near the I-87 and there are restaurants nearby. The hotel has only 2 floors so there is no elevator.

I booked a stay for 3 days to be in albany for my mom's ninetieth birthday. The room appeared clean, but after walking around the first night. The floors made our feet black. The next day we went with my mom. The entire day when we returned, it was late, our beds were not made. The trash was not taken out.The towels were still on the bathroom floor. We went down to the desk and asked, they said they clean our room every second day. The next day was a repeat of spending the day with my mom, again, returning late, the room was still not claimed. Beds, unmade trash overflowing in the bathroom and all of the towels we're still on the floor. In addition, I booked a second room for my niece. After seeing the pet policy on expedia for free pets, pets were not free when we got there. And she was not able to leave the pets in the room in their crates even to go to dinner, told us there would be a $150.00 fine if we did, We ended up having to take the dogs to my brother's house. The breakfasts were a joke including the coffee It was horrible .Completely disappointed with this hotel!

I needed a place to sleep for the night. There were places nearby for more than twice the price. This was a clean room, and I saved some cash. It exceeded my expectations.
- 5/5
Very clean quiet and the staff was awesome only downside is the breakfast
- 4/5
NOT BAD!
- 2/5
The room had quite a smell to it. If not for that this would have been perfectly acceptable stay otherwise.

breakfast wasn’t it we end up buying breakfast outside every morning.

Nice and clean room. easy parking. Very disappointed with the breakfast small room, no eggs.
- 3/5
Noise from neighbors room
- 3/5
There was hair in the bathroom on the floor near the shower. And in the toilet. The breakfast was just OK coffee very weak to the point of not drinking it. The bread was stale, even before toasting it. And the orange juice machine was broken.
- 5/5
Perfect for families traveling with pets, a reasonable fee, and a great location
- 2/5
Manager lied about ability to shorten stay, claiming it was due to me booking thru a 3rd party app then turns around and denies the refund request when my third party provider requested it. Blatant dishonesty is a detriment to the good service this business wishes to provide. Additionally, please train the reception desk staff how to speak to people. I’m not sure if it’s a racial thing but I don’t appreciate being spoken to as if I’m from a different planet, nor do I speak incoherent or unintelligible english. I speak very clearly to asking me to repeat myself multiple times encroaches on micro aggression territory. Not trying to nitpick here, I’m a chill and easy going person but my last stay here turned me off THOROUGHLY, which is a big shame because aesthetically this was my favorite hotel in the Troy area. I would really like to be treated as any other patron… if I ever come back here that is.

Breakfast menu can be much better. Carpet cleaning shiuld be better maintained. Need to improve access to streaming services.

Clean & comfy. Kind staff. We are mobility-impaired & the room we were given was perfect--fully accessible, close to parking, close to entrance--per our room requests. Will will stay again when in the area.

Property was adequate! They didn't have a lot pf options for breakfast. The area was a little run down.

This is my 2nd stay at this location. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. My only concern is the floor to the rooms are not very clean. I dont wear socks and im usuall barefoot. The bottoms of my feet were black with dirt. This was in the first 30mins of occupency. I only noticed when I showered shortly after check-in. The shower curtain rod was also previously damaged. This led to the curtain to slide open and allowed water to flood the floor. Also the toilet seat and its lid could not be lifted fully because of a shelf that was above the toilet prevented it from staying in upright position.

Room was not very clean. Door looked like it had been kicked in at some point. Door frame was damaged and lock was difficult to engage. I would not have stayed in the room of I had been traveling alone. We only needed the room for a few hours sleep while in a long road trip, so made due.

great, clean, affordable. I stay there whenever I'm in Albany
- 1/5
The room was terrible. It was dirty and there was an awful leak in the bathroom that flooded th floors. They switched our room but didn’t apologize or anything.
- 1/5
Sheets were clearly not clean… used messaging app- no response. Had to go to the desk and the original response was to ask if I wanted new sheets?! Ultimately, I switched rooms. Received a response on the original message ten hours later.

The room was standard and was good for the timeframe I stayed.

La chambre prévue pour nous était différente de celle que nous avions occupé. C’était très malhonnête de leur part.

I got to the hotel to check-in at 1:30 AM I talked with the hotel staff previously, and they told me that would be fine and my checkout would still be at 11 AM so less than 11 hours in a room. When I got to the room with my spouse we discovered small curly hairs under the blankets that looked like pubic hairs. Upon further inspection, we discovered smeared makeup on two pillows and both of the same pillows with cigarette holes in each. This isn't even including the disgusting smell in the hallways, and the fact that fire doors were propped open with washcloths. We immediately left the room and went down to the check in desk where we informed the staff that we were not going to be staying in that room due to the things listed above. We were informed that they were fully booked and would not be able to offer us a different room to which we requested a refund as we were in the building for less than fifteen minutes. They told us a refund would not be a problem, but that I had to reach out to hotels.com because that was the booking agency that I used. I am happy with this hotel, they told me that a refund would not be a problem but ehen hotels.com reached out to them for a refund approval, they denied me. I WAS THERE FOR LESS THAN 15 MINUTES, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME, I'M NOT ENTITLED TO MY $120 REFUND? This hotel is a scam. I highly advise you go elsewhere!
- 3/5
Room smelled and ghetto people lived there
- 3/5
The room was in ok condition but there were signs on water leaks in the ceiling with two spots bubbling up. Toilet ran all night and would barely flush. The bed was uncomfortable and was very slanted to one side. The floor was very sticky too and there were a few questionable stains.
- 1/5
They did not have the room I was charged for and I did not receive a refund at all.
- 3/5
Not the best hotel, but ok for what it is. Sheets on bed were uncomfortable and bathroom was dirty.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Towels a little scratchy and off color.

Hotel smelled overpowering of chemical air freshener, room was not touched for three days and nights - no towels, no service, total neglect, terrible brreakfast, and one person at front desk actually got attitude when I was trying to complete my stay. Worst Microtel experience ever. Rooms are awful, as well with linens, furnishings and bath . No way to use the tub as the drain had no way to close so I stuffed plastic from the cups in the drain to take a bath. Weird bench like area by the window set up as a chaise lounge??!!
- 2/5
No that clean, bathroom amenities didnt work, blower broken, toilet had an urine stain as if it. Wasnt never cleaned before given to us . The ceiling in the bathroom had a leak.
- 5/5
Comfortable bedding made for a restful night's sleep. Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
If you're looking for a cheap quick stay this place is for you. Anything more than a day I would look elsewhere.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Perhaps some sort of checklist when turning the room over would be helpful since the tv didn’t work in the first room I was assigned. The tv remote was broken in the next room, but the tv was functional. It looked and felt clean, but the floors were sticky. I did not have slippers nor did I want to walk barefoot in the room. There was a lot of loud thuds and banging in the room above me from 10pm to 9am. Felt like someone was stomping above me every hour.
- 5/5
Clean and very comfortable. Felt safe and happy with the price.
- 2/5
The bathroom was dirty. There were hairs on the shower wall and the shower curtain had mold and stains. The toilet seat was broken and the faucet leaked when it was turned on. The white bedspread and the window seat cushion, both head stains.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Our stay at Microtel was perfect. It’s a great place for short stays. The room had plenty of heat, nice bed, shower had hot water. The only issue was I could not connect with any streaming video. Usually at other motels you get a QR code to connect with our account and it brings that streamer to the tv. But it was still a nice stay.
- 1/5
There was dried blood on the pillows not to mention yellow stains in the bathroom hand towels there was a lot of hair in the showers and the beds even though I switched to a different room, the showers were still dirty even the beds I never left so fast in the morning before check out. Never going there again I highly recommend it.
- 4/5
Clean room . Bathroom showerhead was about to fall off but other than that the room was great
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was small but clean and cozy. It had everything i needed. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
It's fine- nothing special but workable.
- 3/5
It took me sometimes to find a parking spot. The air conditioning works well.
- 4/5
This is an economical and efficient accommodation for the business traveler or someone who, like me, needs a stop-over hotel when traveling to and from Western, NY for both work and family visits. There are also several chain, but decent, restaurants in close proximity.
- 3/5
The top , squirting water above the shower curtain on the toilet, mirror and floor The luggage bed protector was dirty with crusty spots on it. Hmmm what could it be The soap dispensers were almost empty and the roll of toilet paper was previous wet…..from sink, shower, or toilet??? We were right Across from the stairway door which slammed until way after midnight. Heard television and most conversation from guest across the hall and next door until 4:15 am. Overall, our stay provided a bed and shower but not without thinking we may not be in the healthiest environment of cleanliness. Unfortunately, location to airport was what brought us to the Microtel but we would not stay again or recommend it We did not eat the breakfast the next morning
- 2/5

For $69/night, it was ok. It’s an aging property and sorta smells weird, but the bedding was clean. If traveling with a pet, it’s reasonable.

tiny room, clean, comfy bed/pillow, biz "office" a barely working pc/printer(reboot first), breakfast-waffles, yogurt, cheap bread/pastries, coffee-bad as it gets, immediate area didn't feel sketchy. Overall a decent place for low price.

The housekeepers are amazing and they put such pride into their work. All the staff are wonderful. Super clean. Beds are incredibly comfy. It's perfect for the price.
- 3/5
This is a quiet no frills property. If you just need a place to stay a night or two it's perfect. Notice you can't watch tv unless you have your own personal hotspot.
- 1/5
It was outdated but who cares. The problem was, the first room they put me in, smelled so badly of urine. I had to put my shirt over my nose to even get into the room. There is also a huge stain on the bed. I immediately asked to be moved, and the new room didn’t smell like urine, but there was still a stain on the bed. I was tired and didn’t feel like dealing with it so I put down a towel from my car. There was a refrigerator in the room, that made more noise than a child’s remote control car. I just unplugged it because I couldn’t take it anymore. For two nights, I didn’t sleep a wink. Every noise, inside or outside echoed through the room. Unless you can sleep through a tornado, don’t bother thinking you will get any rest here.
- 5/5
No problem

It is clean hotel but breakfast had limited items. Still I would stay in this hotel again due to its cleanliness.
- 4/5
Was easy to locate, felt safe and was clean. Breakfast lacked variety and healthy choices
- 5/5
Easy to find right off of I-87. Clean and bright.
- 4/5
The staff here are not only friendly, but they truly go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable!
- 1/5
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE-do NOT stay here! For starters, we booked a double room w/2 beds and got a small room w/one bed. Tried talking to staff but said hotel was full & could not do anything. We had no choice but to stay & had to sleep on the disgusting floor. Then the next day we noticed that the bathroom was disgusting. Wish we would send pics. Bathroom ceiling was chipping & falling down & they used rubber bathmats in the tub and we noticed rust around the mat, when pulled back, the entire tub was filled with liquified rust.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice the room on the other hand was a bit to be desirable. We opted for the the accessable room as I have a knee injury that limits its bending. The bathroom had a tub (bummer) but had the bars in the shower area (great). No, the one on the wall was so loose it was coming off the wall. The floor had hair stuck to the corners of the room (GROSS) NEVER TOOK A SHOWER!!! The tile floor in the bedroom was sticky. Laying in bed every wall was painted a different color if not finished painted at all. The bed and pillows were soft and clean, an A+ in my book. The breakfast the next morning was as expected as it was a Monday. For our toast it was a little upsetting that there was no peanut butter.
- 2/5
Very noisy on 2nd floor. People running up and down hallway all night with vulgar language. Definitely not more than 2 or 3 stars., and no elevator.
- 3/5
Good clean room. Breakfast got done to early. There was no elevator
- 3/5
Busy front desk, no elevator...breakfast, frozen waffles to put in toaster, no peanut butter, only jam...very ripe bananas...cereal...could be improved! what I did like no carpets in room!
- 3/5
Toilet didn’t flush well, couldn’t find the correct access door from the outside as 3 of 5 weren’t marked and low lighting. Floors in room were also sticky
- 3/5
If you’re a light sleeper it’s not for you. Doors slamming all hours, sounded like a herd of elephants on the floor above, you can hear showers and toilets flushing.
- 5/5
Safe place to go with family| rooms are pretty clean and tidy| staff is friendly and treat guests well| only complaint I have is little high on the price on the day I was there..
- 5/5
Staff was great and an easy stay.
- 4/5
Property was nice and clean. Check-in was very easy. Only drawback is there is no elevator.
- 3/5
Little smelly, washrooms was good, with the price good for 1 day visiting
- 5/5
Great place but you have to pay extra for fridge and microwave
- 5/5
Convenient and easy
- 2/5
Cons: small room, no fridge or microwave. No coffee pot. Toilet didnt work very well. The continental breakfast was little to be desired. If you are looking to spend very little money and you're not worried about the quality. Then, that place will be for you.But the few nice things about it will not encourage me to go back.
- 3/5
It was uncomfortable and not as claen as i anticipated it would be.
- 2/5
older property is tired, its ok for pricing but has more potential.
- 4/5
Parking was easy. Staff & location were okay.
- 1/5
When i arrived they ask for my and family ID's and phone number for each of us.. finally when we went to the room, the door was open..i did confirm the room number to make sure i was at the right room, when we open the door, the room was a mess bedsheets and blankes some one of them a mess on the mattress, the other bedsheets the floor..The desk it was food and garbage and smelling some ate and just leave there..I went immediately to front desk, the receptionist couldn't comfimed what happen to the room..I request immediately to cancel my reservation, they apologize and told the two receptionist they will cancel with no charge. I wouldn't stay there even if it was free..the whole place has the strong smell as mr clean 10 times the fragrance to cover up how dirty that hotel is..they still charge me.
- 3/5
Decent for the price
- 5/5
Truck parking and friendly service
- 2/5
We arrived late at night with poring rain and no parking anywhere. I am disabled and my husband can’t walk distances which made the entrance in our room very difficult for both of us. I was told this hotel was close to the airport. Not knowing the area, black out and pouring rain made being able to find this hostel very challenging, especially since it is located off a side street with entrance tucked into what appeared to be an alley. I as so exhausted that I slept in m clothes and on top of the bed. Once here, the room itself was fine.
- 3/5
Disrepair in the room storage system. Poor repair to the bathroom vanity. No plug for the bathtub to bathe. No fridge or microwave in standard room. No hair conditioner or hand lotion. No hot tea or lemon water in lobby. Breakfast was so sparse we left. Mushy banana and frozen waffles.
- 5/5
Had a good stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean as was the rest of the hotel and parking areas. Nice and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was adequate to get me going for the day. Would definitely stay here again. If you need everything fancy schmancy, stay elsewhere and pay a lot more.
- 3/5
It was an okay place. Breakfast area was small, crowded & quite sparse food choices compared to other chain hotels.
- 4/5
Good value. They don’t have all the amenities of a large hotel but if you just need a nice, clean place to sleep it’s perfect.
- 3/5
Excellent, friendly staff. Hair dryer did not work nor did sink drain. Bedding was clean but flooring was not. For the price and my purpose it was okay.
- 1/5
Black mold all over the bathroom
- 2/5
Sketchy hotel. Abandoned homes across the street and behind a dated convenience store. Very dated even though they added new flooring. The bed was very mushy as were the pillows. Very low quality bedding. No conditioner in the shower just a “conditioning shampoo”. Check in took forever. At least 10 min per customer and there was a line at 4pm with only one staff member on duty.

Pretty decent place, just really noisy.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
- 3/5
for the Money it was fine.. clean and quiet.. Property is dated...
- 5/5
Very nice front desk staff member
- 2/5
In addition, there was peeling paint in the bathroom, and the furniture was born. Also, the breakfast was barely adequate.
- 4/5
Friendly staff

Exactly as described.

For the price range this one

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Hot and powerful shower. Breakfast is lackluster to say the least. We had a late night check in and the lobby smelled of weed. However other than that, it was a nice stay. There is a target across the street and gas station right in front. So there are conveniences within walking distance.
- 2/5
Property in need of repair. Old and needs uodate. Breakfast was meeeh. Ok hotel if desperate.
- 2/5
I rented the room for my daughter and her boyfriend. They couldn’t stay there because when they walked in the room, the walls were dirty and the room didn’t seem clean.
- 3/5
Breakfast was very limited, consisting of basically pastries. The coffee had lots of grinds floating in it. Needless to say, we did not eat the “included breakfast” and we made a Starbucks stop on the way out.
- 4/5
Clean and resonable rates
- 2/5
If there was an elevator, I never found it. The stairwell was dingy and covered in dirty carpeting. The hall carpets and doors and trim are in bad need of updating. There were holes in the curtains, either from burns or just wear from the sun. In a word, everything felt sketchy. I didn’t feel very safe and secure so I hardly slept a wink.
- 5/5
ac unit needs to clean.no microwave and mini freezer in the room.after those good place to stay.
- 4/5
Check in was easy. Clean room, comfortable bed
- 3/5
The room was ok. But the sink was clogged. And I took the time to pre-checkin online and then had to do it all again in person.
- 4/5
Comfort bed!
- 5/5
Would stay here again.
- 1/5
There was a lobby full of people checking in and the front desk clerk was on the phone. The bathroom is dirty, would not take a shower.

Great Stay. Very Accommodating
- 5/5
It was hard to find due to lack of signage
- 3/5
the blow dyer as soon as i turn it on its got very red and then blow up in my hands never worked again and when i turned on the heat in the room within 3 seconds the smoke detector went off and the smell on something burning was filled in that room I'm glad this is when I was leaving because i don't think I would have been able to sit in that room inhaling that I'm pretty sure there a wiring problem and a fire will start one day if not fixed
- 3/5
Friendly service and close to many things. Place is older and kind of beat up.
- 4/5
Clean & convenient.
- 5/5
Was great bed was great
- 5/5
The guests seem to be travelers - no long-term residents and no one lurking outside. It felt safe and comfortable.
- 5/5
We checked in with no problem. We only had an overnight stay and was on our way. It would have been nice if it had an elevator but we knew that before booking and we only had overnight bags.

Good
- 3/5
It’s fine for a quick overnight stay. Not fancy, but I didn’t expect it to be. The room was clean enough, though a bit old and beat up. It felt safe, and despite being near the airport, it was quiet. The front desk staff was a mixed experience—check-in was unfriendly, but the person at the desk the next morning was absolutely amazing and delightful.
- 3/5
The previous guests had a 6am wake up call on the room and the hotel forgot to take it off so i was awakened two mornings in a row before i wanted to get up. The staff was friendly and the place is in a nice location despite the abandoned houses half a block away.

Sink faucet had toothpaste all over it, there was a dead cockroach on bathroom floor. Wood shelf next to closet was torn up and needed repair. Bed was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
There was a constant knocking.
- 4/5
Ok
- 4/5
This hotel is a decent option for a modest price. You won't get many bells and whistles, and the room we were in could use some TLC, but it was clean enough and comfortable enough for a short stay.
- 3/5
For the price it is to be expected less creature comforts than other budget hotels.
- 2/5
There were little spiders crawling on my bedsheets. Asked for another room on a higher floor. No spiders there but found a huge black ant on the wall. Otherwise, beds and rooms were comfortable and clean. Just needs an exterminator.
- 3/5
Nice clean hotel with great staff
- 2/5
The motel was just OK. We ran out of tissues and wash clothes the first day. When we returned in the evening no one was at the front desk to give us replacements.
- 4/5
Simple and clean room. Basic needs for the night stay is good enough. Nothing fancy, having comfortable bed, self adjusting room temperature, clean bathroom are a must for me. Breakfast can be better and a coffe and tea making inside as add on will make it excellent.
- 5/5
Very clean and well organized. A very basic hotel that checks important boxes.
- 3/5
The Internet was not good. Wi-Fi was bad.
- 4/5
It was for an overnight stay. Room was cleaning, nothing fancy, but was comfortable for overnight.
- 4/5
the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was mostly clean meaning the floor baseboards need to be scrubbed but that is the case in many motels. The bathroom was adequate and the bed was comfy. I would stay there again.
- 2/5
Staff was rude
- 4/5
We stayed one night while travelling on Aug 15, 2025. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hallways were quiet. The front lobby needs a refresh. The front clerk was pleasant. The room was fine with the exception of the pad on the bay window, it was stained and needs to be replaced. Breakfast was cold offerings with toasted items available. Parking was safe and ample.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. Hotel is behind a gas station on a dead end street, in the flight path of the airport. Very basic, 2 floors, no elevator. But, it had a decent bed, decent shower, and decent parking, so it was as expected. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was basic,
- 5/5
We found the beds and pillows to be comfortable, bedding and bathrooms were clean, and breakfast was included. Very accommodating staff. Even had a clean small gym. Was everything we needed and expected for the low nightly rate we paid.
- 5/5
Great location being right off I-87 and minutes away from I-90. The room was small, but comfortable. Pretty much just for sleeping and showering. The surrounding area has all the dining, retail and recreation options you might need. Bring your GPS because there are 3-4 of everything depending on what city/town you are driving through. The towns and cities in this area are shaped like interlocking puzzle pieces.
- 4/5
We have stayed here prior. It’s a nice hotel for the price, and is convenient to a lot of things.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The bathroom needed some minor repairs, toilet handle needed tightened, light over the tub was hanging down needed to be reattached to the ceiling, bathroom sink faucet wouldn’t shut off all the way.

Everything seems to be aok except for the lady in the reception who check us in. Never smiled and gave us a judgmental look.

Internet access and pet friendly 20/10

Nice room
- 1/5
The bathroom is just as bad. Shower is an ADA access set-up, the shower head is a hone version of a hand-held unit that won't stay in the wall bracket once it's turned on. The shower curtain is shorter than the opening, so water goes all over the floor, I had to use all my towels to mop up after the shower. The sink is a joke. It really could pass for a prison cell bathroom. I checked in late and was leaving early, so I just cleaned up and went to bed. I might stay there again, definitely not in Room 106.

- 4/5
The room was fine, though small (hence the Micro part), fairly quiet. Be advised that there is no elevator so if you have a 2nd floor room you have to haul your luggage up and down stairs. The breakfast offerings were very limited. I stayed two weekends. There were bananas each time. The first weekend they were pretty brown, the second fairly green. I got breakfast elsewhere.
- 4/5
Good value for the money. Staff was nice. Hotel was clean. No elevator. Breakfast was pretty sparse but decent. I would stay here again for this price. :)

It's a nonsmoking hotel but the smell of marijuana on the hall was very strong. The bed was comfortable but we could have used another blanket. It was a very average stay.

We found that everyone working at the hotel was exceptionally kind and courteous! That helped make our stay quite pleasant! Thank you Microtel Latham!
- 4/5
I love the window seat.
- 3/5
Prices are excellent and it's quiet. It needs to be updated. Dirty window cushions, needs wall and cieling repairs and the shower head had a big leak.
- 2/5
We checked in saw the room and just went to our engagement and didn’t even stay…check in was confusing and bizarre. Best thing it’s convenient to thruways that get you as far away as possible from the property

The hotel room was so disgusting and a refund was not offered even when shown how gross everything was. Mold, stains, dirt, bugs, all over the place.
- 5/5
Perfect thank you
- 1/5
The place was so bad we didn’t even stay there the room smelled it was dirty bathroom was filthy I’m sure they just make the beds and not change the sheets, if I was Expedia I would remove them from their hotel list, we left this hotel immediately and went to another hotel. The people in that hotel are in denial they actually think it’s clean in there. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else. Also never agree to the non refundable room because even if you don’t stay there they will keep your money.
- 2/5
Room was quiet enough and location was fine. Staff was nice. The bathroom was absolutely filthy upon arrival. Not old, but DIRTY. Bodily fluids on the toilet, hair all over the bathroom and sheets, soap scum and actual dirt/grime in the tub. I bring Lysol wipes with me wherever I travel, so I wiped a few areas to see if they were just hard to remove spots that occur from a place being old. They came off immediately, which meant the place hadn't been wiped down at all prior to my arrival. I was pretty digusted and won't be returning.
- 2/5
Noise from other rooms bathroom tub drain stopper didn’t work the walls are so thin you can hear a lot of noise from other room’s. Would not stay there again nor would I recommend it

Great price: comfortable bed.

The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel with very limited options. The worst thing was that the hotel had no elevator. When we checked in, we were told that our rooms were on the second floor and when we asked where the elevator was they said no elevator . When I asked why I wasn’t told that when I made the reservations, they told me it was my fault that I did’t ask if they had an elevator. That is totally unacceptable because I have never been in a motel with no elevator so why would I think to ask. It definitely should say on the website that there is no elevator, especially for us elderly people. I definitely think this was the worst property!

Fine place to stay to save some money.

Old,Dirty and needs in update on everything. Towels, sheets
- 3/5
Hallways smelled but rooms were good. Just the bathroom needed renovating. Old hotel in general. Did not eat the breakfast. It did not seem appealing too much.

I should have known what I was in for when pulling up to the hotel when the building across the street was boarded up (but it was the only pet friendly option available day of). All fabric surfaces in the room were stained: the window seat, curtains, the lamp shades, even the towels. Inches of dust on the AC unit. The ceiling leaked in the shower, every inch of the baseboards were stained with suspicious, visible, THICK grime. I wouldn’t have felt physically safe staying without my dog, as there was consistent yelling in the hallways and there was alarming and loud commotion in the room above the whole night. I only stayed as I had no other options and it wouldn’t have been safe to continue driving, but I left first thing and cannot state enough DO NOT STAY HERE.

Money back. But how they treated the guest helping me out was unforgivable.

We pulled into a Microtel in Amsterdam NY and clicked to make a reservation near us. I am unfamiliar with the area and thought I made the correct reservation. Right after making the reservation I walked into the lobby only to be told very rudely that we were at the wrong one and the correct one was an hour away. She didn’t even say goodbye, just walked away from the desk. We went back to the car and called orbitz reservations. They called the hotel to try to get a refund, since it was less than 5 minutes from when we booked. The hotel said they have a no refund policy. Which if the reservations had been older than a few minutes I would have understood. So that topped with the very rude front desk lady did not lead to a good experience

It was ok
