Some of the lights in the room didn’t work and there was a big puddle on the rug next to the air conditioning unit. The beds were big and firm, the room was large, and the receptionist was friendly. Building was old.

This is an old inn with cracks and dark carpet that hide stain. The mattress is soft and the three pillows are thin. The one time I tried calling the front desk I let it ring 10 times before hanging up. I had to walk to the front desk for assistance to ask for another pillow.

This hotel was very terrible. I literally felt very unsafe to stay there. It needs to be condemned. The room was very dirty. No smoke detector, a piece of joint on floor, and the door had holes in it. The door jam looked like it had been kicked in many of times. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO SLEEP HERE. The employee at front desk tried to put us in another room but we declined and went to another place.

Latham Inn needs a major overhaul. Everything seems old. The wiring on a lamp seemed to short out and the light would go out. Fan in bathroom was noisy. No additional set of towels for the 3rd person as my reservation stated. The only good thing was the manager was very nice.

This "motel" needs a complete overhaul. Old mattresses, holes in the wall. Paint chipping everywhere. Holes in the front doors where the door knob should be. Dirty carpet, uneven walking spaces. Questionable shower facilities. Had no choice but to stay here as every other hotel in Albany airport area was full. Do not stay here.

Not much Stayed here for the last 3 or 4 years while visiting Saratoga Race course and every year the place continues to deteriorate. I could list a long list of complaints but I will find other accommodations next year. It was not nearly worth the money.

No way this place can be 5 star any review that say that is paid for. One on the two sinks didn't work, lamps near bed not working, most power outlets dead, strong chemical smell that made all items that entered smell like that for days, carpet damp and spongy, hole in shower wall where lower faucet should be, black moldy rag on ice machine to absorb dripping water, Blood and other stains on sheets. Main picture in description located nowhere on property. The bathrooms hasn't been updated since the 70’s pictures in description must be the one room updated this millennium

Yes its an older place but the room was very clean. Perfect, inexpensive stopover for early morning flight, and although very close to the airport, I didn't notice airplane noise. Popular bar-grill out front was a pleasant surprise. I'd stay here again!

The hotel has a message that you don’t see until after you have reserved the room that says you have to check in by midnight because they don’t have staff after that. It says to call and arrange your check-in. I called multiple times. I reached out tohotel.com And the lady I was on a chat with was nice enough to try calling also. No response she emailed them also no response. I did not reach them so I had to complete an additional three hours of trip to get to my destination exhausted. I want a refund

The stay was good, not very busy. I was there for the week. Everything was clean, though the bathroom could use some TLC and fresh caulking. The bed sheets needed bottom sheets not tops used as bottoms. For a solo work trip for a blue collar guy, it was a great place and great price.

Disappointed. I expected a better experience, the bed was very stiff, the WiFi was spotty, the staff did not assist with certain items that were needed and I was disappointed when I was informed a slightly later checkout would be a higher price. Overall the property was in a decent area, it was very quiet but the staff and sleeping arrangements made for a very unpleasant stay.

Friendly service and room up to snuf. Except for WiFi. It was all but unusable in my room (214). I could connect but then only get data for a few seconds at a time, often not even enough to get my emails, then often getting disconnected after 5-10 minutes of the unusable connection. I verified this on 3 devices, and it wasn’t a matter of other guests hogging it because it was the same at all times of day. WiFi is easy enough nowadays that they should be able to get this right.

Positives: - area didn’t feel unsafe - balcony made for a nice place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning - was technically a room containing beds Negatives (hooooo boyyy): - almost no outlet in the room worked. We had to sue the bathroom outlet to charge our phones - the deadbolt was half broken. Sketchy. - as others have pointed out, the towels had yellow stains on them - the bed felt bad to sleep on Overall, stay anywhere else if possible.

The hotel is dated. The most important thing is it was very clean. The staff was accommodating. The beds range from good to ok. Clean linen clean towels clean room. That is my priority.

It was a double bed, smoking room, but you could not smell smoke from Pryor stays.

Stayed for one night. I was not comfortable. Not a pleasant room.

Had different opinion after arriving. Not handicap friendly (steps to check-in & to get to room). Entrance to room is in the rear of the building. 2 exit doors in room whereby 1 door is fully locked so in an emergency (fire in corridor) you have to exit into the fire and/or smoke. no continental breakfast-just coffee. Stains on the bedspread and a small hole in the wall in our room. The Latham Inn is set to the rear of the property. Check-in time varies as to what you read (computer-2:30pm; front desk-3:00pm; room-2:00pm). Just very disappointed ! ! I feel that an anticipated happy weekend turned into a nightmare even before it started. Only positive was that the front desk person (woman) was cordial. Unfortunately, I will not use the Latham Inn again.

Room was dated but large, clean and had everything we needed. Hall ways and stairs were less clean but functional. Very close to awesome Italian bakery Bella Napoli that has great coffee and donuts and all the Italian pastries imaginable. Good budget hotel.

I needed to get a room on short notice with a lot of hotels in Albany booked for NCAA tournament, so thanks to Lanham Inn for getting me in. Room was okay for a night, and a good value

It’s great value for the price. If you’re expecting a deluxe experience, this isn’t it. It is clean, inexpensive, centrally located, comfortable and gets the job done. Front desk staff were very helpful, and you receive a coupon for a local pizzeria when you check in. Would definitely stay again. Exceeded my expectations completely!

Is it the Ritz? Certainly not.... but for a clean, comfortable affordable place to stay, it checks all those boxes. Will stay again next time I am in the area.

The outlets in the room were only half working. The room itslef was very nice and big. The AC ran well and was quiet.

The motel was serviceable. I would absolutely not describe it better or worse. Linens were clean (although hospital grade and in need of replacement) and the property is certainly not updated. Hallways were mostly clean, sidewalk and parking lot needed to be repaired, many windows needed to be rescreened, and they are still sporting blue porcelain in the bathroom. These cosmetic details didn't take away from the functionality though. The motel was quiet (much quieter than we thought driving in past many bikers) despite being behind a large bar/restaurant. The lobby is musty, stale smoke smelling and not recently cleaned, with a few tables from the 80s, an unstocked counter for coffee and breakfast as of 7/24/22 and a few brochures. The man who checked us in appeared to be the owner and went out of his way to yell at me for being the person who booked the room but not possessing a driver's license (I'm blind, visibly using large mobility aids) even though I offered other forms of ID, and honestly can't help that it's not the best idea to let a visually impaired person drive... Eventually he got over it but was still rude so I was happy to have only needed to check in and out. This was by far the worst part of the entire experience though. Overall, if you can get over the fact that you will be greeted by someone very rude and if looks aren't important, it's fine. Be willing to rough it and be tired enough not to care, stay the night and leave. It's not a vacation but a pitstop

The rugs in the building were dirty and the hallway to the rooms was extremely hot. There was a hatch in the ceiling that was propped up and made me feel very uncomfortable, thinking that a video camera or some recording device could be up in there. The parking lot was alittle dark and there were a few sketchy people walking around.

Traveling by myself, I drove into the property and it was so rough and I was so intimidated by the men sitting outside that I didn’t even get out of the car to see what it looked like inside.

Bad: Asked for non-smoking, got smoke-smell room. Breakfast advertised but not provided "because of covid", even though all restrictions are now lifted. Floorboards creaked all night.

We were just passing for the night the room was clean the bed was comfortable we enjoyed our stay we will be back next time will you go through then hopefully I've time to stay a couple nights

Room price was good for the condition of the room. We needed just a cheap stay for a 6 hour sleep. Room had a lot of broken items (TV, electrical outlets, toilet) but we were just there for a few hours before driving on. Staff was very friendly but site is very dated and old.

Entire facility was very run down and dirty. Worn out saggy mattress on bed with smelly stained pillows (no pillow liners). Bathroom quite dirty and the shower walls and floor were so disgustingly gross that I opted to skip bathing this morning for fear of contracting a fungus disease on my feet. The interior security lock and chain on the door were inoperable. Hopefully there are no bedbugs hitching a ride home with me. UGGHH !!!! Wish I knew about the photo section in this review before I checked out because words cannot adequately describe the deplorable condition of this place.

Extremely difficult to find check in location. Facility needs total overhaul. Most of lights didn't work, phone didn't work, unable to locate log in information for "free" wi-fi. Next to no hot water, cabinetry and furnishings were dirty. Window screens broken. One of two sinks didn't work. But - Sheets were clean.
